While it was never advisable for a force user to purposely leave their saber behind; Mara didn’t trust herself to bring it in her search for her target. Not that she needed a saber to kill. In fact she had been quite skilled at killing with various objects. Though the goal was not to kill this woman but do just enough to try to satisfy the rage that coursed through her. Upon seeing the stranger that she held so much deathly rage for, she could feel the desire to kill surge inside of her. “Do you know why I’m here? If so, lets just get this over with. kirei had felt it - she knew something was wrong, and it just solidified it when her mom wouldn’t answer the phone. the first person she could think to look for was leia, that was the first person other than her mom or omega who came into her mind first. “leia-” the moment she saw the other, she could tell something was off, there was something in the force just telling her to find someone else, but she didn’t listen. “have you seen my mom? I can’t find her and she won’t answer her phone,” she hoped that her feelings weren’t true - maybe ahsoka had just lost her phone or left it in the white house. “I felt something happen in the force and I don’t know what it is, what if she’s hurt or worse?” kirei had never felt anything like it before and she didn’t know what to do other than panic. “please tell me something didn’t happen to her and she’s just lost her phone,”

steve didn’t understand what was happening at all. he’d never had the desire to hurt another person in his life, but for some reason all he could think about was hurting amity. he had to get away, run and hide somewhere until it passed. if it passed. “fuck!” he exclaimed out loud before realizing that there was someone else there and he probably just scared them. “sorry. i’m really sorry. it’s just, well, fucked. this whole day. what is going on?” the question was completely rhetorical because he knew there was no way that she’d be able to answer, but he hadn’t been able to help himself.

the sun has started to rise over the skyline of the city, warm light starting to shine over the streets. as it begins to wash over the city, the sun brings clarity and, slowly, those who had been overtaken by the darkness of the magic begin to feel their senses return. citizens of dc begin to feel more and more like themselves as the morning continues on, leaving them with the harsh reality of what had happened the night before when they had little control over their thoughts. it’s time to go home, rest up, and begin repairing the relationships that had been tested on this fateful valentine’s day. what will this new beginning bring for you?

spring is right around the corner, the final holiday of the winter finally coming to an end and we hope this mini event has helped spark some muse and bring some fun into the end of winter! we are so so excited to see how much love this mini event got, and cannot wait for our next full one. y’all really are incredible!! but, with that being said, violentine’s day has finally come to an end! please, from this point on, do not post any new conversations regarding the event ( new starters, or replies to open event starters )!! that being said, you may continue to wrap up your event conversations, put a nice ending to them, find a good stopping point, or adapt them to work outside the event!! from here on out, the city is trying to get back to normal, citizens are all awoken, and it’s time to start repairing those relationships-- if you can. like always, to make that transition easier, each mun will be allowed ONE free starter, for the next 24 hours only! after that, our rules go back into place full force! remember that is one starter per mun! not per character!! we just want to say we are so thankful for the love you all show to these events, so thank you for the continued support and we are even more excited to celebrate hidden’s 5 year anniversary next month with you all!

        closed event starter for @rainbowmuses​ ( katniss & peeta )  /  katniss should have turned on their heel and went straight home when they found out that she was paired with peeta for the evening .  she felt compelled to stay though , and ever since their last encounter , katniss had been filled with regret , dread , and anxiety over how she’d handled their relationship .  they’d wanted to mend things somehow , but being trapped in an escape room in awkward silence with the boy was definitely not what they’d had in mind .  “should we at least try to communicate ?  or do we really wanna sit here in the dark until the timer runs out ? ”  katniss finally spoke up .

gina definitely should’ve stayed home. going out just to get some valentine’s day chocolate was probably her worst idea yet. it was terrifying. she’d never been in a situation before where she felt really and truly terrified and all she wanted to do was get back to her room, lock the door and just curl up under her blanket until the city turned back to normal. if it ever did. when her gaze landed on a familiar face, she felt slightly relieved. “you have no idea how happy i am to see you.” she greeted aj as she came to stand in front of them. “this is all… just a lot, right?”
