Summary: You catch a cold during the holidays and Frank takes care of you.

The worst time to get sick is during the holidays. You caught a cold a couple days ago. Frank has been taking care of you, day and night.

As of right now, Frank is out getting you some tissues and medicine for you. You were in bed resting like your husband told you to, but you got up to watch Christmas.

“I thought I told you to stay in bed, sweetheart.” Frank says, walking in the apartment.

“I wanted to watch Christmas movies.” You mumbled hoarsely.

You coughed harshly, whimpering when it hurt your throat. Frank sighs softly with a look of sympathy on his face.

He opened the plastic bag and got the cough syrup out of it. He opened the bottle, pouring the liquid in the cap and handed it to you. You looked at it and whined.

“Don’t be like that, sweetheart.” He coos. “It’ll make you feel better.” He says.

“I’m not a child, Frank.” You say, squinting your eyes at him.

“Then stop acting like one.” He says.

You huffed before talking the medicine.

“Gross!” You say.

Frank chuckles and rinsed the cap off for the next time you use it. He put a box of tissues on the coffee table as well.

“Do you want some tea?” He asks softly.

“I want hot chocolate.” You say with puppy dog eyes.

“Tea will help your throat.” He says, trying to reason with you.

“Fine.” You mumbled, slouching back against the couch.

Frank changed into more comfortable clothes and then went to the kitchen to make you your favorite tea.

“Here’s your tea, baby girl.” Frank says softly, handing you a cup of tea.

“Thank you, Frankie.” You say.

“You’re welcome.” He smiles.

Frank sat down on the couch next to you and covered himself up with the blanket you were using, sharing it with you. He wrapped one of his arms around you and pulled you closer to him. You took a couple sips of your tea before putting it on the coffee table. You made yourself comfortable and snuggled yourself against his side.

“Frank?” You asked looking up at him.

“Yes, baby?” He asks, looking down at you.

“I want a kiss.” You tell him.

Frank kissed your forehead softly, making you smile.

“Hmm…” Frank hums to himself. “I think your fever broke. You don’t feel as warm as you did this morning.” He says.

“I think it broke when you were at the store. I don’t remember. I was sleeping.” You say.

Frank gave you another kiss on your forehead. You then laid your head against his chest and continued to watch the movie.

A little bit goes by and you begin to feel drowsy. You try to focus on the TV, but your eyes felt too heavy to focus. You ended up falling asleep. It didn’t take long for Frank to notice that you were asleep. He shut the TV off and carried you to the bed. You stirred in your sleep a little bit.

“Frank?” You mumbled softly.

“You’re ok, sweetheart. You fell asleep during Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer.” He says, tucking you in.

Frank got under the blanket behind you and wrapped his arm around you. He kissed the side of your head before laying his head on his pillow.

“I think I’m Rudolph’s long lost sister.” You randomly said.

“What makes you think that, babe?” Frank asks, going with it.

“My nose is red like his.” You say.

Frank couldn’t help but chuckle softly at your cute theory, knowing you’re saying that out of drowsiness.

“You’re cute.” Frank smiles.

“Even when I’m sick?” You asked, turning your head to look at him.

“Even when you’re sick.” He says softly.

“I love you, Frankie.” You turned your head back over to its original position. “Thank you for taking care of me.” You mumbled.

“I love you too, sweetheart.” He whispers. “I love taking care of you.” He says before you fell back to sleep.
