Hunter, by virtue of Atlas being one of the first Titans loyal to Kronos to escape imprisonment in the original PJO series. Kronos charged Atlas with “prototyping” the demititan concept, and Hunter was conceived shortly before Atlas was reimprisoned by Percy and Friends. The infant’s latent potential was so great that Kronos ordered the conception of more demititans during his own freedom the following year. By this time he’d won back the loyalty of some Titans that were never imprisoned, like Oceanus and Mnemosyne.

As such, Hunter is the eldest demititan, a little under a year older than the next of his comrades.
