Xir hands are claws on your shoulder, nails raking down your back, and when you pull away xir eyes are unfocused, breathing harsh.

You scrape your teeth over xir thundering pulse, close your lips over xir collarbone and suck a dark mark into the perfect skin there, ragged edges bleeding into the freckles clustered at the base of xir throat.

This time, when you pull back, Rohan moans, as much protest as pleasure, and leans after you. You keep xem still, a punishing grip in xir hair, and force yourself to take a full step away, peeling your body from xirs.

"Get on your knees."

Lust gives your voice an edge, a ragged growl from low in your throat, and you can feel Rohan shiver even as xe grins at you, teeth sinking into xir abused lip. You know what xe's going to say, but it doesn't make it any less promising.

"Make me."

clarification: i'm annoyed at the random reader that replied to me (and was wrong, didn't even bother to check himself), not the author

i normally do not point things out, not do i care that much (even when salty) usually i roll my eyes and leave. no one has time to give that many shits

the fic was amazing and hilarious and loved the characterizations, it was perfect. spelling and grammar with no glaring faults (and it's fanfic, we're not paid so the standards don't really matter if the author doesn't care)

the thing was, they wrote one person as a math geek, and when talking about the concept of infinity, i think the author meant to say uncountable infinity rather than countable. it's not a grammar mistake, it's a typo that changes the entire meaning of what that character was saying

the loss of that single un- completely destroys any math cred this character had, and it was literally so small and simple that it didn't hurt anyone to point it out, and it's low effort to fix if they want to

i wrote a comment on how much i loved the fic, thank you for writing, and... debated a bit before i pointed out that in an asking way "did you mean this or did you mean that?"

literally did not care until a random guy decided to reply to be "no i think it is countable" when if you fucking Google it, even if you didn't learn it yet, it is not. it seems this person decided to throw their two cents in without a single thought, and that's what annoyed me. i thought a bit and was like "maybe they're right." until i checked myself and realized "lol they're wrong and they have no idea what they're talking about" and left it at that

i was just being exaggerated over something that's ultimately not a big deal. it just so happens to be the perfect intersection of something small but something that matters

me venting on my own blog is not indicative of me going out into public online spaces and being an ass

(Spoiler) Last week, I made some edits to Chapter 7 that makes the relationship between A'Li and the False Mountain Spirit more ambiguous. The Spirit is intended to be a sympathetic villain. The original version did not leave open that possibility. (Spoiler End)

I'm glad you love Victoria, I'm surprised how many people like her. She would be glad you find her endearing too, I'm sure--she has been working on that for a few thousand years.

I won't pretend to understand the End of the Universe, but I can think of a few ways to interpret why Victoria selects your gifts. The other mountains give her gifts that are rare in the world, but abundant on their lands. You offer her what is precious and irreplaceable to you. Also, bamboo dies after it blooms. Maybe that appeals since she is an embodiment of death?

I always hesitate on who to romance when reading IF's because I love all the ROs no matter what, but I think that is what makes things better, if you know what I mean? What is your character's reaction when someone does something nice for them?

Usually depends on who’s doing said action. If it’s one of their patients? They’ll smile kindly at them and thank them (filing it into the back of their head to do something for said patient later). If it’s someone they’re close with? They’ll just smile gently and say thank you (filing it into the back of their head to do something for them later). If it’s anyone else? They’ll be respectful but cautious. As they don’t know what they’ve done to deserve a random stranger being nice to them.

Michael: One of the predominant smells that you notice is the smell of sandalwood and leather (because of his cologne) with an undertone of vanilla from his skin moisturizer. He also has the scent of something almost sweet from the candy he dishes out to his patients on special occasions.

don't worry, i was only so verbose w my previous reply bc the situation was just dumb and unique enough to move me, and i didn't want people to get the wrong idea that i go around mansplaining (only to my friends for fun) and fighting on the internet, unprovoked

even if you make a faux pas, you shouldn't worry so much. we are only human, can't be everywhere and doing everything at once, can't please everyone, and we all have made and will make mistakes. what matters is not obsessive preempting of those mistakes, but the grace and flexibility in handling the aftermath + growth
