🙉 You smiled as the others messed around, Wukong floating above Pigsy while he annoyed him. MK held his bandana in his hand as he wrapped himself in his large hoodie, sitting beside you

🙉 Unlike other dragons' human forms, you had a large amount of scales on you, going from your fingers to your neck and your waist to upper feet. You allowed MK to messed with tail you had out, much to his amusement. You were a fascinating creature, that's for sure!

🙉 As he twirled the little tuft of fluff at the end of the tail, you allowed your long hair to flow in the wind, making it look as if your hair joined the sky in a galaxy-pattern

🙉 MK looked at you and down at the others, seeing the little girl, or Bai He as they nicknamed her, and back at you. You guys looked familiar somehow, but why?

🙉 Bai He's creme-colored jacket mixed well with your white-and-purple hanfu, the long sleeves slightly blowing like your hair. She also seemed to have a bandage on her cheek where you had a marking from a demon fight long ago

🙉 MK blinked and cleared his throat, asking you if you knew Bai He before they met the girl. You just chuckled and lifted your hand, putting it on the male's shoulder and answered honestly, no care if it would shock him or not

"Bai He is actually my descendant."

"WHAT?!"

🐉 Mei and the others looked away from the argument after hearing MK's yell of shock. They were confused, you guys were just sitting there quietly, so what shocked him so much?

"What's going on?" Pigsy asked.

"Y/N's- Y/N's an ancestor!"

"Yeah? Has been for a while." Wukong said as if it was obvious.

🐉 Everyone else looked at you in surprise, they knew that you were as old as Macaque and Wukong, but they had no idea that at some point you had a child and that bloodline was still existing at their current time

🐉 You smiled and stood up as Macaque and Wukong just watched with bored expressions, knowing something was going to get good soon

"Bai He, please step up to me."

🐉 The young girl looked at you in confusion and carried her cat to you, keeping the feline in her grasp securely as you kneeled down, adjusting your qun skirt as you secured your position

"Young girl, everyone else here is either the age of an ancestor, or one themselves. You are no exception."

🐉 Bai He's eyes widened as stars sparkled in them, her hair bouncing as she anxiously shifted around, her pet meowing in her arms as she moved

"Are you my ancestor?" She asked.

"Correct, Bai He."

🐉 Mei smiled and picked Bai He up from behind, twirling her around before hugging her close to her chest, chanting the same thing over and over as you watched with a content smile

"Dragon-Descendant Twins!"

☀️ Sun Wukong laughed as Mei twirled the young girl around happily, knowing she wasn't the only one with a draconian ancestry coursing through her veins

💜 Macaque just observed with a neutral expression as the two messed around, Bai He asking questions on what she could do as a descendant like Mei

☀️💜 You walked up to the two monkey-men, wrapping your arms around one of their arms each, gifting them both kisses on their opposite cheeks, much to their joy

☀️ Wukong gave a cocky look and hugged you, wrapping his arms around your shoulders and placing his head on the top of your own, attempting to rub his scent onto you

💜 Macaque rolled his eyes and shoved Wukong off you by his head, making you chuckle. The dark-haired man was happy he had beyond-amazing hearing so he could hear the near-mute sound easily

"What was that for?!"

"Don't hog them, remember the agreement, Wukong."

"Fifty-Fifty? Ugh, I knew I'd regret that at some point..."

"Are either of you guys my ancestor too?"

"HUH?!"

Not me getting inspired to create a modern wukong yaoguai hunter gang/mafia style au while having just gotten my feet wet with the JTTW/Black Myth storyline 😭

Imagining Wukong in a golden varsity jacket decorated with a classic black dragon, and a self-stitched "no.1" on it, but being only second in command cause he can't behave himself. The group "leader" will still be Tang Seng, because he's the "big boss's" favorite, and has a good head on his shoulders. He can't fight for shit, but he's got good magic, which is good enough.

They roam the streets as vigilante demon hunters, in comparison to the state sanctioned hunters, whom of course is lead locally by Erlang Shen.

There's always beef between them, but they also always watch out for each other, coming in clutch to help the other out when they least expect it. The two groups would up-end entire cities to get to the other if they're in need.

I know it might be a big request, but can you talk about heaven's hyerarchy in JTTW?? And explain some titles like boddisahtiva (sorry for any typos, english isn't my native language)

I'm a little busy at the moment, but I can give a brief overview as I see it.

The Jade Emperor (JE) is the boss of the universe, but he still has deities over him, such as the Three Pure Ones, of which Laozi (LZ) is an incarnation (of sorts). The novel even describes LZ as the "Patriarch who separated Heaven from Earth"--i.e. the creator of the universe. While technically subordinate to the JE, the Buddha and the Bodhisattvas are the true shepherds of the JTTW cosmos. (In traditional Buddhism, gods are still subject to the illusory world of Samsara, while the Buddha is beyond reality since they have achieved nirvana and broken free from the endless rounds of rebirth. In addition, the JTTW universe is patterned after the Buddhist disc-world system, and the Daoist heavens take the place of the Buddhist heavens in the traditional cosmology.) Despite this, Buddhist deities still act ritually differential to the gods. For example, the Patriarch of Earthbound Immortals (ch. 24-26) is so high-ranking that Guanyin mentions that even she has to be respectful towards him.

The gods of heaven are considered superior to those of the earth. Local gods of the soil and mountains, as well hell judges and their spirit-soldiers, are looked upon as "ghost immortals," the lowest rank. Celestials above are "spirit immortals," the highest rank. "Human" and "Earthbound Immortals" in the middle ranks can become heavenly beings if they are given an official post. But heavenly beings can be demoted to lower ranks for messing up. For example, one of Laozi's fire-tenders in the 33rd Heaven is demoted to a local god of the soil below for failing to help capture Monkey when he escaped from the Eight Trigrams Furnace in chapter 7. And a different local god of the soil in another chapter worries that two mountain gods will be beaten and further demoted to small, out of way shrines for unknowingly dropping their mountains on the Great Sage.
