Monkey May

Heyo, it's been a while huh? Sorry about that. Also it's Monkey May, I did not know that so I will be using prompts all throughout the next month as well. Anyways, it's been a long day, but I finally managed to draw and get some free time to myself (at 1AM :( )

I wasn't really feeling it so I just went with flat coloring and rendering.

Cheesus crust, this came out SO RED.

so I found out what was wrong with my graphics tablet, the driver I had was outdated and I needed to change the gamma with Nvidia. But now it's the opposite of the problem I had before where the laptop screen shows it as super saturated and the graphics tablet is lacking in colors. I'll come back to edit this post after tweaking the colors a bit.

ANYWAYS

I realized I do not render things enough so Netflix Monkey King is going to be my test subject for coloring and shading.

I've come back from beyond the afterlife— (jkjk I was just really busy lol) but hey! New monkey fanart! This is more for practice than anything else but I still like it.

(HC: Dàshèng glamours himself from time to time to escape from his asshole tendencies (not his fault btw) back in the days, or just because he can. For fun! And to try to forget the fact that sometimes he looks like he's aged, which is one of his greatest fears.)
