Always on the run, them.

The train rattles under Nine’s feet. Their compartment is cramped full of six bodies. He sits beside the door, lost his usual window seat to Ten. Eleven’s squished himself between Nine and Twelve, falling asleep in a way that’ll leave him sore when he wakes up. Maybe that’ll remind him he’s not a kid anymore.

Thirteen and Fifteen are using the same jacket as a blanket. The dark blue suitcase they couldn’t fit above them is under Thirteen’s shoes, held there to keep it from rolling all over the floor.

They’re going someplace new. Always are.

But they’ll be together.

#stobotnik #doctor ivo robotnik #agent stone #sonic movie universe #i hope you all are noticing what i'm doing with stone's clothes specifically #white shirt pre robotnik black to fit his goth boss then colors when ivo starts wearing red #also i know we all like to think robotnik hated being assigned an agent but i present to you:#he sees it as a symbol of status kinda. stone hates being here #it just feels right to me. it's not that robotnik thinks the agent will be useful at all #he's just pleased that he got one #everyone else has an assistant why shouldn't he?#this ties to a very very stupid headcanon i have #and it's that robotnik's blood type is O negative #HEAR ME OUT he would hate that. he would hate being an universal donnor because he doesn't care about saving lives of humans ew #but then stone is also O negative so that means robotnik can receive blood from him if necessary #and that's mostly the reason why he was chosen to be his assistant #ivo is too important to die! and O negative blood isn't that common #Stone knows but probably no one told robotnik #then of course imagine stone getting injured and needing blood and ivo is like wait i can do that it doesn't matter what his blood type is #you get the point #i think. i'm pretty sure there was a point #oh well #oh the no hr joke. they're a shady goverment organization i don't think they treat their people that well #that being said maybe robotnik's treatment of stone was the reason they had to get an hr department who knows

Bruce tries to adopt Ellie, who is immediately against it. She keeps throwing him off her trail and he keeps tracking her down. She's honestly concerned, and normally she would handle her problems by herself- but this is Batman.

So when Bruce gets a little too close and Ellie is just so tired... she calls for Danny.

"Mom!"

Cue college student, perpetually tired and overworked Danny "High King Phantom" Fenton appearing from the very shadows Batman normally does himself, seeing the situation and going off at this "clearly older man" chasing his daughter in the middle of the night.

Cue the most elaborate "stop trying to adopt my kid before I adopt yours" series of battles

dr who is (apparently) redesigning this turtle from the classic series to be just a green human elf lady instead and twitter is eating it up because "no one would take the show seriously otherwise" and "the audience isn't able to empathize with something that doesn't look human". another fascinating data point in the psychology of doctor who fans.

#i know people will read this and think i'm saying the show should look stupid #i'm actually saying 'why are doctor who fans so rejecting of the idea that you can make an alien with a beak look good in a dramatic contex #and why do so many of them think the audience are incapable of feeling empathy towards a lizard #when the show so often asks you to read emotion into a puppet as simple and inhuman as a dalek #also a lot of people comparing making it human to shape of water #come on #he was not passing the harkness test and he still won the oscar #talking tag

Say what you will about this episode but having the main character see the most graphic horrific terrifying thing they have ever witnessed in their life and then going right back to doomscrolling while they hold back the tears is such an interesting take on how young privileged people interact with the world.
