Huinjogjebi: Was it spring rolls? I think you mentioned spring rolls.
Commander Jogjebi: Maybeā€¦?
Chief of Staff: Heh. Isnā€™t that always the way? Wife sends you to the store to get one thing, and you can never remember what it is.
Huinjogjebi: ā€¦actually, weā€™re gay.
Chief of Staff: Oh!
Commander Jogjebi: Yeah thatā€™s why weā€™re both here, forgetting what we came for.

I don't really see anything for this one. The Weasel and Wolf Units hate each other, and Dr. Huinjogjebi has to essentially bribe Commander Seungnyangi into coming to help them. And I still hold that it is very strange that the wolves don't already have an Iron Crow, since those weapons exist in real life. Then again, they exist on large navy ships for now, but if the Wolf Unit is an attack unit you would think they would already have something like that on their planes. Unless Dr. Huinjogjebi and the Weasel Unit stole it in the past somehow, and that is the real reason why the units hate each other.
Even then, if the units combined, both commanders would be far busier trying to keep their own troops from fighting each other than having anything to do with each other.
Lt. Vixen comes off as more likely trying to control each of them than attempting to romance them.
Sorry about the late post this week! Tumblr ate the post I had scheduled.
This week, three characters we know are on the same side:
Commander Seungnyangi, Dr. Huinjogjebi, and Lt. Vixen

Alright, now Iā€™m curiousā€¦
Commander Jogjebi/Huinjogjebi
Ship it? yes / no / i do now / hell no / forever ship it
I just donā€™t really see anything between them that sparks me, to be honest.

Honestly, I would love to read an AU like this!
I have some similar plot lines in Lily Bell in the Thorn Thicket, which should not be a spoiler since itā€™s referenced in the tags and implied in the summary, but I donā€™t think I go too in depth on this with that fanfic, so I would be interested to see something like that in more detail.
I think what would really turn Bamsaegi to the Weasels would be hope. If he keeps his head down and works for the Weasel Unit, then he wonā€™t be killed or tortured. Flower Hill would send an extraction team to get him out, and he could learn some interesting things and gather a lot of intel in the meantime.
But the extraction team never comes. He waits and waits, perhaps months or years (we donā€™t always have much of a timeline for events in the show) after his mission was supposed to be over, but no one ever shows up.
For him, at least. I would fully expect his movements to be restricted as to what areas he could walk into alone. Huinjogjebi tends to be paranoid, and would likely lock him away when he had known visitors since his presence was technically a security risk. But maybe he can see other scouts from Flower Hill come in and obtain the information he was sent to find. And they donā€™t even bother looking for him.
And maybe if he wasnā€™t locked away, the scouts were informed that Bamsaegi was there undercover, and would look him in the eyes, but not make any move to speak to him or help him. There are other scouts besides Geumsaegi and Juldarami, so even if he tried to subtly ask for help, they might not pick up on it since they donā€™t know him as well.
Itā€™s like that one timeline in Bioshock Infinite where Elizabeth gets captured by Comstock and her captors know that the absolute worst torture they could do to her is force her to wait, and she would lose hope all in her own. So, by the time Booker finds her, she is angry and spiteful and lashing out in revenge on the world below, which was the original plan all along. But replace the characters with Bamsaegi and Geumsaegi/Juldarami, and Comstock with Huinjogjebi who knows exactly what he is doing.
Although, on the assumption that Juldarami does not know, he has been known to act recklessly before. If he doesnā€™t see Bamsaegi directly, he might find some papers or details and recognize it as something only Bamsaegi would do or write. Maybe even a small code asking for help, and start searching, even breaking into restricted areas. He WOULD find a way to talk to Bamsaegi (especially if he was informed that Bamsaegi was ā€˜undercoverā€™) even if it would make Commander Jogjebi or Huinjogjebi suspicious of him. And if Bamsaegi begged for help to leave, he WOULD likely drop his mission to get him out, blowing his cover. Juldarami is the one who was willing to drop his mission and tell Geumsaegi to run away towards the end of S1 when he heard about the assassination plot, after all (although he is talked out of it).
Geumsaegi would probably just leave him, since it was good for Flower Hill. The research would go faster, which means maybe the data other scouts collect could be quickly reverse engineered. Heā€™s perfectly fine slapping Bamsaegi across the face in episode 29, after all, without otherwise reacting to his presence as a prisoner.
After Bamsaegi has been extracted? Well, the commanders would know that by doing this to him would make Bamsaegi angry, especially if their plan included measures in case he actually defected. For a plan like this, they would have to have a plan for reindoctrinating him. And they know he is Geumsaegiā€™s brother, so he is likely just as spiteful.
Bamsaegi would definitely be locked away in a facility for a while. I suppose it could depend on his training and indoctrination beforehand during his childhood with what happens next. He could possibly be convinced that it was for the good of Flower Hill. We did what we had to do. If you went in with the plan to get captured, it would be far too obvious. But look at the fancy new weapons we have that will protect our Hill, everyone you love, and all the children! You did this! We are so proud of you!
Iā€™d would probably still cause loyalty issues, though, and maybe even involve Juldarami and Geumsaegi. However, the latter is throughly brainwashed, and Juldarami can be convinced that everything is fine.
I would more expect younger soldiers to get antsy that the Commanders could betray and give them up like that, which would lead to discontent within the army that leads to treaties being formed a lot faster.
Maybe the movement is started by Undochi. After all, his brother dies destroying the ice canons, but it does not stop the war. Everyone treats it as a thing he was expected to do, with even Geumsaegi only allowing himself a brief mourning period. Which, personally, I think is fair given his position and the fact that he could not let on that he was so upset over a hedgehog, but still.
But first his brother, and now his beloved childhood friend? And no one is seeing to his friendā€™s clear emotional needs? He might get frustrated and start complaining to new recruits or squad mates.
Idea of Bamsaegi getting so frustrated with Flower Hill and mainly Geumsaegi that he straight up just joins the enemy

Huinjogjebi: Can I go to the pool?
Commander Jogjebi: Sure, weā€™ll go as soon as Iā€™m free.
Huinjogjebi: No, can I go by myself?
Commander Jogjebi: You donā€™t want to go with me?
Huinjogjebi: Honey, I love you, but you just go around challenging random people to cannonball contests.
Commander Jogjebi: Itā€™s the only way to establish dominance.

Commander Jogjebi: ā€œBecause of reasonsā€ is always a legitimate reason.
Aekku: ā€œFuck you thatā€™s whyā€ is also acceptable.
Geomeunjogjebi: ā€œFor scienceā€ is always a good excuse.
Assistant Jogjebi: Donā€™t forget ā€œthe stars are not in positionā€ as a perfect reason not to do something.
Huinjogjebi: ā€œNot since the accidentā€ can be the perfect answer to any question.
Mangko: You guys are forgetting ā€œthink of the childrenā€ as a way to persuade someone to do anything for you.

Species Research Part Two
Commander Seungnyangi is the leader of the Wolf Unit, but his name translates into 'Jackal,' (or Dhole) which I find fairly interesting.
Tumblr media
He also, maybe, has a slightly different appearance to the wolves in the wolf unit?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
It could be a stylistic choice as to why his muzzle looks a bit different, but there has to be a reason why his utter disregard for his own men horrifies even Assistant Jogjebi. Perhaps he is not a full wolf, and speciesism is common enough in the series for him to look down on the wolves as idiots, so he does not care for them like weasels disregard mice.
Names mean things in this show after all, so if not his species then maybe Jackals are looked down upon for doing underhanded things, and so he gained the name.
Tumblr media
When Bamsaegi and Guemsaegi fake a fight when they are captured by Dr. Huinjogjebi, Bamsaegi outright calls the 'Special Aide' a 'dog,' which suggests that there are connotations for species as well.
Then again, we don't see too much of the General Commander's brother, and he might actually be protective of his men and those he actually trusts like his twin brother. Geumsaegi is not someone he trusts or respects yet, so he does not treat him as his brother would, which is why he helps steal Geumsaegi's fish.
Tumblr media
The real question is, since the Weasel Unit and Wolf Unit have serious issues with each other (what happened? Oh I'll find a reason or three to use), then why are they at Flower Hill? Dr. Huinjogjebi is forced to lure in the Wolf Unit to help him hunt for spies using the promise of the Iron Crow, but why is Assistant Jogjebi there working with them?
The wolves can eat a lot of nuts and berries in the absence of meat (and that's a discussion I have spoken of elsewhere), so it fully makes sense for them to take over Squirrel Village, considering the abundance of chestnuts. Probably not enough for them, considering how desperate they are for the fish.
Probably for the best, since I am pretty sure fish are not part of a mole's diet, so Dr. Dudeoji can't eat the food the wolves are stealing from him anyway.
Weasels are obligate carnivores, I have been informed, like cats, so they can only eat the fish. Perhaps the strained relationship has something to do with food.
Either way, I'm going to have fun trying to connect some dots and create some interesting plotlines and story arcs like I did before.
I suspect Officer Yeou is there because North Korea likes making foxes second in command to wolves in their shows.

Some of the weasels have a Japanese vibe, especially since Commander Jogjebi likes to wear a Japanese Haori. If he is Japanese themed, then I would definitely think that Dr. Huinjogjebi would also be Japanese, so it would make sense.
Huin's love of marine life reminds me a lot of Hirohito. Hirohito was really into marine biology. Conicidence? I THINK yeah probably.

Itā€™s happening again
My notes on how to make this one singular background plot idea happen are becoming long and complicated enough to become one or two chapters of their own. Or at least feature prominently in other chapters.
Which means I have to move around other plot lines and story arcs, because the new one works better, but invalidates others I have had planned for months.

Any headcanons for SAH?
Iā€™ve got some unorthodox stuff since I feel I havenā€™t really formed any big headcannons of my own yet! Mostly small things or funny stuff. I fully watched the series maybe 3 weeks ago? Iā€™m gonna be giving it a full rewatch soon though.
Thereā€™s some headcannons on here that iā€™ve seen, like Geumsaegi being much more happier and open with others pre-weasel takeover. That I can totally believe.
In a similar vein I honestly have the headcannon that Bamsaegi is only going back to the military for his brotherā€™s sake, and that he feels personally responsible for what happened to Dr. Dudeoji. Bamsaegi kinda gives me vibes of ā€˜blaming himselfā€™ despite things being beyond his control. Call me projective in that aspect aaa. He doesnā€™t seem to enjoy being back at all, and going back has only caused him pain. (Being slapped, beat up, nearly poisoned, ete.) the only thing keeping Bam is his family and friends being with him during missions tbh.
Tumblr media
I saw a headcannon when I first started to float around the fandom about Commander Jogjebi and Aekku being related. I kinda subscribe to this. I feel like Aekku and Geomeunjogjebi would be like distant nephews to both Commander and Assistant Jogjebi. Close enough to recognize them as family but not invested enough to look deeper into it. Idk. Maybe this is my method of rationalizing Com. Jogjebi keeping them alive when he would have killed them long ago. (Didnā€™t he fake an execution with one of them?)
Nowā€¦these below are getting into silly/self indulgent territory.
I am a firm Mangko color change denier. Keep him grey/pink like he was mid season!!!! Making him orange again just makes him look like the masses again! Him being grey makes him stand out as one of the big players in the Mt. Rock Rebels! So salty about this I took his grey fur and used it on my oc lmao. The same kinda goes for Dr. Huinjogjebi. I liked the stark white/purple tones he had but I can scrape that by as him getting older / being poisoned and injured at Sturgeon Base.
Tumblr media
Speaking of I thinkā€¦ if Dr. Huinjogjebi wasnā€™t as professional, bro might have had a passing thing for Commander Jogjebi. This is totally me just being not normal sorry
Because I watched them around the same time, I am a firm believer that Nu Pogodi and SaH take place in the same universe, at the same time as eachother. Both cartoons came out around the same time, involve furry animals, and just has that zest lolā€” if you want a good idea of how I see the world of SaH outside of Flower Hill, you should give that series a watch too šŸ‘šŸ¾
Tumblr media
OKAY FINALLY, i just thought of this now, and it is purely in silly territory. Hear me out, the ā€˜dubā€™ is a ā€˜showā€™ in universe made by the Italy equivalent in SaH thatā€™s a ā€œ100% completely accurate documentaryā€ about whatā€™s happening in Flower Hill for the countries outside of the war. Do with this what you willā€¦
Tumblr media
Thatā€™s it for now, but Iā€™ll share more headcannon stuff i come up with in the future!

Iā€™m probably going to be in the minority when I vote, but I would go for Commander Jogjebi. If he wanted to do something like kidnap me, he would do it when I walked in and wouldnā€™t bother to tamper with my drink. He would tell me directly, as well. Likewise, he does seem to care for the men that respect and work for him, so itā€™s likely he would watch my drink, especially since he would not want the added headache of dealing with the aftermath of tampered drinks. The problem is if he has one of his seizures. He wouldnā€™t be able to stop anything and would be surrounded by people, and removed from the area, but I can just get a new drink if I came back to that.
Dr. Huinjogjebi, he tends to have darker schemes, and happily has unsuspecting people kidnapped. I suspect he would tamper with my drink himself if he wanted. If he was not interested, he would probably protect my drink, because he would also not want the headache. But if he had one of his own attacks from the lingering effects of the poison gas from the Sturgeon Base, he would also get distracted and be surrounded by weasel soldiers. It would probably be over by the time I got back, and I would not know.
Special Corps Commander is just following orders. He might be intimidated into letting someone tamper with my drink. He might even do it himself.
I donā€™t think the weasel driver is going to do anything himself. He seems nice enough. But I also think he would be easily intimidated into letting something happen and not saying anything.
Seems youā€™ve taken a wrong turn at this party, and have found yourself chilling with some of the villains. Whoops. That said, your bladder waits for no one, soā€¦
