I have fallen in love with his soul and his voice. the way he speaks about the things he loves and the way he doesn't speak about things that hurt him. I fell in love with the way he smiles when confessing it's not a great day and he hasn't slept well. I fell in love with the way he touched my soul, in a delicate, tender way, like it has never been touched before. even if nothing happens between the two of us I will always be grateful to him. he made me realize that love doesn't have to feel like a knife in your chest. he made me realize it can be soft and tender and doesn't have to feel like you're about to die all the time.

“I like cancelled plans. And empty bookstores. I like rainy days. And thunderstorms. And quiet coffee shops. I like messy beds and over-worn pajamas. Most of all, I like the small joys that a simple life brings.”
