If you are yearning for a connection of love and kindness, may the gods grant you this.
If you are longing for a relationship with acceptance and support, may the gods grant you this.
When all you yearn for is a place to call home, may the gods grant you this.
If ever there is a void in your life that needs filled, may the gods be there to fill it.

Yes, there is prayer and worship in temples. In librations poured for the gods, in altars carefully set up with statues and candles and offerings.
But there is also prayer on her water bottle, in the way it is covered in stickers that subtly (and not-so-subtly) represent and remind her of her gods. Whenever someone asks what the stickers mean, she smiles.
There is prayer in the little devotions they leave behind on their computer, in the code they've been working on for days. They leave dedications and praises after two forward slashes (like arms raised to the sky) — secret to most, but not to them. Not to their gods.
There is prayer on the inside of his jacket, the one he always wears to teach. Stitched above his heart are the names of the gods he calls out to the most. He touches his chest, letting out a breath before addressing his class.
There is prayer in the charms that hang from her rearview mirror. There is prayer in the way they gesture wildly while telling a story. There is prayer in the little symbols he traces on fogged-up glass.
And the gods are always happy to see it.

🕊Channeled Message from Aphrodite—
"You are not worthless. Allow your body + mind the grace to process. Things need to explode in order for there to be space for better. Notice how others lash out whenever you attempt to better yourself... You seek peace; they seek control. You act from the heart; they act from their ego. You are not worthless—you are a fighter." 💕

Ancient Greco-Roman veils my beloved
I will die on the hill that no one should stop you from wearing a PIECE OF FUCKING FABRIC if you personally wish to. Your body, your beliefs, your culture, your history, your choice. No matter the religion or lack there of, race, gender or culture.
I do occasionally wear my head scarf and tbh I want to wear it more, I want more pretty ones to cycle through.

Dont Skip,,please help my sons !!🇵🇸🍉
Hello! I am motaz from Gaza.
My house was destroyed and I lost my job and everything we had in this country. I feel great pain writing for you, as I have to start this campaign to save myself and my people from this human disaster. We live in harsh conditions, and we only have hope after being displaced several times from our home. Now, we are fighting for the most basic necessities to survive - drinking food and water.. Imagine with me that you wake up every day and don't know how to get a meal for your kids. Imagine the anxiety that grips you as you try so hard to protect your family from hunger and thirst. This is our daily reality. Your donation, no matter how small, can have a great impact. It can provide us with a meal, a clean water bottle, or a moment of safety under these difficult conditions. Every donation brings with it a ray of hope, alleviates our suffering and gives us strength to face a new day. Please donate and support the resilience of the Gazan people, especially citizens in the north of the Gaza Strip, and share this campaign with your friends and families. Together, we can make a difference and help my family get through this ordeal. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your generosity and support. My warm greetings. Motaz
I want to save the lives of my family and escape death.
I hope you will help by donating and reblog

Aphrodisia
~ 4-7 Hekatombaion ~
In celebration of Aphrodite Pandemos (Aphrodite common to all people) not much is known about Aphrodisia. The festival itself was celebrated largely in Delos, Cythera, Thebes, Elis, Sparta, Corinth, Athens and most towns in Cyprus. It is important with the coming of this day that the modern Hellenic Polytheist examine which festivals they reside with most. Celebrate the gods in the way that suits you best, even if the festival is absent of the calendar you most closely draw from.
The festival was said to be instituted by Theseus, as a way to represent the unified people of Athens under her epithet. Many modern Polytheist prefer the idea of celebration of every person drawn to the Goddess. Aphrodite carefully crafted each and every body, therefore we are all inherently beautiful. Common to all people, our Lady is. Many rather celebrate her as a divine mother, caretaker, friend and most importantly Goddess, on this day.
Aphrodisia begun with a sacrifice of a dove to her altar. The blood from the dove cleansed the temple. No other blood sacrifices were to be made the rest of the festival, as it would dirty the blood of the dove. Afterwards, people would carry imagery of Aphrodite and Peitho to be washed in the sea, a common epithet and image of Aphrodite. The festival itself celebrated both goddess.
Many people would offer an array of different symbols, the most popular being that of a live white he-goat.
Aphrodisia is a wildly popular festival today. Many other worshippers have their own posts! Go check them out and give love! Worshipper to worshipper <3
Traditional Offerings:
Fire
Flowers
Incense
Baked Goods/Bread
Sea Water
Aphrodisiacs
Traditional Acts:
Cleansing Statues
Cleansing your body
Offerings to Aphrodite
Offerings to Peitho
Khaire Aphrodite! Khaire Peitho! 🐚🩷🌊🕊️

E-Offering to Aphrodite Pandemos
My dear Goddess, I saw this and reminded me of on of your many lovers, in my mind I saw Anchises, but stopping to think it could also be Adonis. Since they also used to be with each other on nature as I've read in one of the many stories from her myth with him. :)
I hope you liked.

Lady Aphrodite
Lady Aphrodite, show me the beauty of the world and guide me to find the one inside of me. Teach me to love from the deepest parts of my soul, so from my heart blooms a new light whose glare illuminates my life. May your power be revered for the centuries to come.
Today is a big day, because I'm celebrating Aphrodisia!!!!
This collage was made by me and I gotta say I'm pretty proud of it 🙆🏻♀️
In Aphrodisia we celebrate Aphrodite Pandemos ("of all"). We celebrate the love that's inside every single one of us, given by the gracious and loving Lady Aphrodite. On this day I would like to thank her for her ongoing help with my journey in self love, love for others, knowing myself and showing who I am and what I have with confidence and pride.
I invite you to celebrate this festival in her honour, and I hope everyone reading this has a beautiful Aphrodisia and rest of the month.
I celebrated buying some new clothes, having a really nice bath and doing this poster! Whatever you did, I'm sure Aphrodite was proud and happy for you.
🌷Happy Aphrodisia 🌷
