im still crying and throwing up over the fact that when xl first met hc as sl, sl’s hair was tied up into a centered ponytail

when xl offered to do his hair, the ponytail ended up being off centered because xl rushed it. AND HC KEPT IT LIKE THAT THE WHOLE TIME.

he is so in love with xl it’s not even funny ohmygoddddd i love hualian so much

Hua Cheng being born out of the anger, pain and resentment he felt when xie lian was stabbed by a hundred swords which essentially kills him metaphorically. And hua cheng (wuming) dying by letting a hundred (or so) sword like dead vicious spirits pierce through him to save xl as xl is 'born'/ 'brought back to life' because his belief (that once faltered) of him still having a devoted follower in this world was restored. One of them dying for the other to be born again until they could be together forever.

I love Feng Xin and Mu Qing’s beef with Hua Cheng, because on one hand I totally understand Hua Cheng’s one-man hate campaign against anyone who has ever hurt Xie Lian, bc that first banishment was BRUTAL and I’d go a lil crazy too if I had to watch someone I care about go through all that while being abandoned by their closest friends, but on the other hand if I didn’t know all that context and all I saw was my friend’s new asshole boyfriend’s secret statue collection I’d want to get them tf outta there too
