THE HSS SAGA: MEET MY MCs

Since I made a singular profile post where I braindump some basic details/profilesfor all 3 of my It Lives series MCs (Jo, Harper, and Cedric), I'm gonna do the same for all 3 of my (main) HSS MCs. Evie included– even though I already have a more fleshed out profile for her, it's only fair. I'm still working out a lot of details for all of them, even Evie.

I of course have multiple other OG HSS MCs like Alan, Samara, etc. But this post is for the MCs that I consider part of my main personal canon universe. Other MCs I make exist in parallel universes.

For both this and the ILS one, I will update each of these with their respective profiles as I make them.

Jordan Price (HSS: Prime)

Birthday: April 21, 1999

She's cis (she/her) and she loves masc styles (and enjoys fem styles too), but doesn't fully consider herself GNC. She wouldn't really consider herself either masculine or feminine.

She's "ridiculously jacked for a nerd". She values her academics, but she knows how to make time to work out.

She's straight. During the HSS Prime timeline, she dated some prep boy named Daniel for a while. But early into her junior year at high school, he moved away and they decided to end the relationship because they were not ready for a distance relationship. Eventually during her senior year, she started to have a crush on Julian as he started to grow out of his “macho meatheaded jock” attitude, and asks him to OG HSS prom.

Personality-wise, she's very kind, helpful, a responsible leader, happy-go-lucky, serious, and determined. She sometimes tries a bit too hard to be a goody two-shoes and preaches a lot about not wanting to stoop to the level of her enemies.

Her moms had given her a heavy education in stuff like business, socialization, and financial skills as they wanted her to be extra-prepared for any potential independent adult life (hey, you try coming up with an explanation for why a teenager is able to found and build up a whole-ass brand new high school). A lot of the inequality she saw and often experienced herself as a Black-Indian girl with lesbian moms that had to pretend they were roommates, is what motivated her to use her skills to found and create Oliver M. Berry High School, on the foundation of being a school that was accepting to everyone no matter who they were. Her moms wanted for her a life with lesser restrictions and encouraged her to pursue that.

Many initially wanted to name Berry High after her, but while she did not mind being acknowledged as the founder of the school, she did also want to be remembered as just a normal student like the rest, and did not want to be put on that high of a pedestal. so the school was instead named after its first principal.

I'm still deciding whether I want her to be a grade ahead of the rest of the Prime gang, or be in the same grade as them but gets offers from various colleges and is allowed to skip a year and graduate early. Either way, she's initially averse to graduation and wants to focus on Berry, but Julian and others reassure her that Berry is in good hands and encourage her to branch out with her skills. She attends San Jose State when she graduates, staying in very close touch with her friends from Prime while at some point eventually getting to meet Evie.

She and Julian will eventually get married. IDK if they'll have any kids.

Evie Ayana (HSS: OG Trilogy)

Birthday: March 8, 2001.

Her full name is Evelyn. Her dad would call her this name at birth, but eventually he would use the nickname "Evie-bear" as a term of endearment (because Evelyn-bear doesn't sound very fun to say), and eventually the name "Evie" stuck instead.

She's a GNC cis gal (she/her) and very very VERY proud of it. She does enjoy some feminine or fem-associated things and is proud of those too, but she really hates it when people try to define her womanhood exclusively with her femininity or act like certain things are intrinsic to womanhood. She also has major bottom dysphoria, but gets nervous talking about it because the kind of sexual acts she does prefer are too commonly misunderstood as a femdom kink thing.

She's bi with a huge preference for men. Obviously her endgame is with Aiden, but she has also felt attraction for Michael, Maria, Julian, and Kieran. After she and Aiden get married, they do eventually open their marriage and swing with Michael and Maria and a few others.

Personality-wise, she's cautious and reserved; but also confident, outspoken, and helpful. Fun-loving, but also no-nonsense. Tough, but also sweet. Will lift up Aiden, but also snuggle into his chest. Horny on main, but knows her boundaries. Sometimes level-headed, other times impulsive. She's very anxious about everything she says or does, worrying about accidentally doing something hurtful (especially if it ruins an otherwise positive relationship).

She always struggled to make friends back in her old schools and deals with a lot of social anxiety. Moving to Cedar Cove and Berry High was a major opportunity for self-improvement and pushing herself out of her comfort zone. She adapted fairly well to a more confident, outspoken, and helpful version of herself, but it's still often very difficult for her to maintain it.

She's a jock through all three books, and while she's unsure about keeping up an interest in professional competitions after graduating, at the very least she does maintain a hobby for these sports. She's also quite into running.

She named her pet hamster "Cheese Nugget", or "Cheesy" for short. She also has a white-and-orange cat named Daisy.

Besides Aiden, the person in her friend group she considers herself closest to is Emma. Emma's kindness to her on her first day of school amidst being a shy awkward wallflower is something Evie is very appreciative of, and it motivated her to push herself to make new friends and extend her kindness and help to them too.

Evie won homecoming crown, guest of honor, and prom crown in the OG timeline. But they're merely bonus things to her.

I still haven't figured out where Evie goes when she graduates, but it's definitely local. She of course stays close with her friends.

Evie and Aiden love to do duets and dance performances together, and even enter some dance competitions. Of course, their partner dances are always role-reversed, but I don't think that should matter to the competitions.

She and Aiden have kids in the future. They adopt the TBB baby and also have a boy and then twin girls. And Evie definitely won't be getting pregnant, she'd rather die.

Cher Lee (HSS: Class Act)

Birthday: January 12, 2004 (IIRC this was confirmed in her and twin's birth parents' journals)

Cher is cis (she/her) and embraces masculinity, femininity, androgyny, all of it. For this reason, she doesn't quite consider herself GNC, but rather gendercreative.

Her twin, Bear, is a very masc trans dude and has been since he was about 3.

Cher is male-leaning bicurious. She had some attraction to Rory (male version) during her middle school years, but grew out of it around the end of 8th grade. During HSS:CA 1, she had a major puppy crush on Erin Ward and was elated to go to homecoming with her. But during HSS:CA 2, she'd become closer to Ajay Bhandari and eventually start dating him.

Cher has a very deep interest and knowledge in fashion and clothing styles. Especially when it comes to stuff like drag and crosdressing. Although she wasn't specifically named after her, Cher adores Cher Horowitz from "Clueless" and greatly looks up to her sense of fashion (and she has been told she sometimes even looks like the character face-and-hair wise). Her reason for joining theatre in the first place in fact is because she loved to dress up in costume and act out the roles in said costumes.

She takes theatre and acting very seriously. Not Ajay levels of hardass seriously, but seriously enough that she's very enthusiastic about it and always puts in her best effort to give the audience a show. Most especially through putting on a stellar costume and performance for her character.

For the Enchanted Kingdom play, she actually wanted to be the witch rather than the princess. And in the Tempest musical, she wanted to be Ferdinand rather than Miranda. I'm still figuring out my HSS:CA rewrite but I may give her both of these roles.

She definitely goes to Hollywood U when she graduates. Some of the CA gang may or may not be going there too.

In the future, I feel like she and Ajay would break up on amicable terms by the end of his senior year/her sophomore year. But they might come together again years later when they're older and wiser, and might get married and have a couple of kids.

Which senior was Evie's favourite (the HSS Prime cast)

Definitely Julian. He's on the sports teams with her, he's incredibly friendly, and Evie finds him very attractive too.

That being said, I imagine she'd also have become exceptionally close with: Nishan and Sakura, because she likes gaming with them; Ezra, as he's one of Aiden's closest friends; Wes and Koh, due to their help with the Isa investigation + Koh respects Evie for not selling her out to Isa.

Evie and Jordan: what's the most bizarre or random tradition that they secretly have and how did it start?

Details below! <3 <3 <3 Beware for possible incoherent rambling

I don't think I have any headcanons for that specific question. But here are my general ideas for their friendship.

So I definitely think Jordan and Evie have met in off-screen interactions during the OG HSS trilogy timeline. I headcanon Jordan goes to San Jose State when she graduates, which is definitely a longer drive from Cedar Cove than the San Francisco drive in Book 2, so I don't imagine Jordan gets to visit Berry all that often during the HSS timeline.

But Evie definitely hears a lot about Jordan from the other students. Especially the seniors, most especially from Julian. Since I headcanon Jordulian/Juliordan as endgame, and Evie of course gets to know Julian on the sports teams. Similarly, Jordan probably would be hearing quite a bit about Evie as well from Julian and the other seniors.

Part of me wants Evie and Jordan to meet at some point during homecoming, either the football game or at the dance. But I haven't figured that out. Some definite instances where they meet are at prom, and at the the seniors' (AKA the Prime cast) graduation.

I don't have a lot of ideas for them meeting at prom, other than that Jordan and Julian are prom dates and that's when those two have their proper confirmation and first kiss. Which I have plenty of headcanons for but that's not for this post lol. But I figured that by virtue of that, it's sort of like a definite moment for these two to meet.

...I actually don't have a lot of ideas for their graduation meetup either. Like I can picture Jordan being like the keynote speaker, and she and Evie sort of get a chance to talk after the ceremony, but that's about it. So, again, definitte moment for Evie and Jordan to meet.

And following the OG HSS timeline the two would become much closer friends.

I feel like Evie may slightly envy Jordan's accomplishments and Jordan would reassure her? One kinda AU-ish fic idea I had was maybe a Choices HSS version of the "It's A Winterful Life" quest in Prime where Jordan becomes the guardian angel and takes Evie to see a Berry High without her. Haven't figured out much about it yet but yeah. Maybe it can be like a dream sequence thing that takes place in the HSS:CA timeline (I thought about putting it midway through HSS Book 2 but I feel like that might be too early on).

Also the fact that Jordan is very progressive minded, the whole reason she built Berry high in the first place is that due to growing up as a daughter of a Black-Indian lesbian couple that had to pretend they were roommates, she became staunchly aware of social injustices like that. But her moms also wanted her to gain a life less restricted by all that, and that motivated her to build a school space dedicated to accepting all kinds of students and ensuring that everyone would be welcomed.

So I think Evie would respect the fuck out of that, especially since coming to Berry was a healing and improvement for her and her life. And Jordan would be super proud to hear that.

Evie would also look up to Jordan, she would want to do something big like that to help a social justice cause, and Jordan would definitely try to help her with that. Evie as an adult can be weary of some more progressive spaces- being brown + Muslim + bi + GNC, she's been picking up on how some progressive spaces only focus on certain people of a marginalized group. Like white feminism for example. Or, more notably, some feminist spaces that seem to ignore GNC women. So they might help each other out when dealing with shit like that.

Yes to all of this, here are my overly long thoughts on these because I love HSS

Sports teams are all just big loveable gentle giants. Friendly beats all over the place (when Brian & Hearst aren't at Berry obvi). Like you're telling me there's just a team full of sporty dudes who have muscle, who are just bright optimists and/or confident and don't fool around, who'd give you a hug if you asked for one even if you didn't know them because you had a bad day? Berry is LUCKYYYUYUYY

Right? One thing I love about HSS is that it subverts a lot of typical high school stereotypes, and one of these is having the jocks be these very muscly guys who are no-nonsense about their sports, but also very welcoming and friendly rather than a bunch of meatheads? I love

And I also love that they're so welcoming and chill about a girl joining the team. Like they just causally suggest MC should join the team regardless of gender, and they treat a f!MC on the team just as normally as they treat a m!MC. Even when Brian gets all embarassed about being beaten by a girl in the running minigame in B1 Ch1, Caleb just nonchalantly shuts him down with "You were beaten fair and square. MC you should try out for the team. If you've got the speed, who cares if you're a guy or a girl".

I just love it so much because while there are some differences in how certain characters treat you, the characters and story don't pathologize, patronize, sensationalize, or tokenize you if you're a female jock MC.

Same goes for a male cheerleader MC. When the cheer squad tries to interest you in joining and MC expresses surprise at them doing so, Mia says "No need to be so gender normative" to a male MC, and male MC responds with "I wasn't saying that because I'm a guy" and then you get the options to say your MC is either new, shy, or is actually perfect for the squad.

The fact that I can see how emotive some characters are. Like Payton! Payton is a prime example. She's rarely ever seen with the 'neutral/serious' sprite ever. she's usually happy go lucky, angry go kicking, sad go sulking, or shocked go fright. I like the fact they used this to their advantage!

Old Choices really was the best for emotive sprites! HSS and ILITW are some of the best examples. Each emotive variation of a character's sprite just has so much character in it. Aiden's sad face that looks like the pleading emoji. Brian's happy face which just screams "arrogant douchebag". Caleb's smiling sprite like you mentioned, which makes him look like an absolute ray of sunshine. Payton's very cheery smiling sprite. Every time I see a different emotion sprite of a character, I feel like it's telling me something about that character!

I will say though, the brown f!MC sprite has the goofiest looking surprised face, but I love it. However the black and brown f!MCs' "neutral" sprites don't look "neutral" at all. But it still stands out.

People who say the older sprites were "uglier" are fooling themselves. New Choices sprites are just so lifeless and same-face. Like they just slap the same lip shapes and eye shapes onto each LI.

The fact that our character can be the biggest douchebag ever, yet still somehow has friends.

Everyone and their grandma has heard me talk about this but the OG HSS MC really is one of the best in my opinion, because they're just such a flexible character. People say they're too perfect (especially in comparison to the HSS:CA MC who is said to be more flawed and realistic) but I'm just like... honey, YOU made them perfect!

One of the things that cemented them as the best for me, is my sixth replay where I spent the entire third book making my MC be a jerk to the Hearst kids. Turns out, doing that gets MC to lose their tryouts spot to Jade/Cameron/Kieran, even if your MC was actually successful at tryouts!

And even outside of that, it's legitimately so fun to make my MC act awful. Like making them have absolutely zero sense of modesty when winning the sports games or homecoming/guest of honor/prom. Or having my MC act like a brat when they fail. One moment I really love is during the Hearst spirit stick heist. If you fail to get the lock open thus leaving Emma to try and do it herself, but then respond to her opening it with "lockpicking isn't that hard", Maria and Michael call you out for acting like lockpicking is easy when your MC barely did shit.

I just love it because even though you can't outright lose friends, there are significant consequences and the other characters can challenge your MC rather than just blindly agreeing with them just because they're the MC.

The little 'relationship improved' update message at the top. It feels nice knowing you have to guess which dialogue and action is the right choice to romance/Max out friendship, then the choice buttons just having a heart on it.

I usually sometimes prefer having a heart button mark on certain options because I don't like accidentally flirting with a character I don't want to. But come to think about it, you can read some of the flirty behaviors (particularly in Book 1) as more friendly behaviors if you wish. Like maybe my MC just wants to show Aiden some "sexy moves" to teach him how to shake his ass, rather than to flirt with him. It can up the romance score with him but that doesn't necessarily mean it was intentional flirting. It doesn't need to be intentional flirting to give him feelings, kinda. Lol.

It also helps that the relationship points actually account to certain outcomes too. They determine who asks you to homecoming, and whether or not you'll even get an option to kiss them during your first dance at homecoming. I did one playthrough where I didn't choose any "romantic" or "flirty" options with Aiden at all, and at homecoming it defaulted straight to him and MC continuing to dance rather than giving the "Kiss him/Keep dancing" options that I usually got!

And I love that you can have a slow burn romance with your LI! It's so nice to see that the story acknowledges if you've kissed a LI or not, altering some of the interaction dialogue of book 2 based on that, and acknowledging a slow burn if you wait until you're official.

The fact that the text boxes look so... Warm. Like it's red, it's bulky for sure- but doesn't it look so warm compared to other books with their text boxes? Like cmON now.

It's definitely meant to be based off of the text boxes from the original Prime game, and I just love it because it distinguishes the story with its own style. Like you know the creators cared about making it feel like "High School Story". Even if you haven't yet played the Prime game (I played Choices HSS before coming across the Prime game), it's just such a sleek, distinct style that fits the vibes of the story.

The activities in premium choices. I like how it isn't a horny book since it's an older one (I think), like there's no really really spicy scenes at all. I just like how it doesn't exist. Like you pay to do activities with your LI and there so happens to be a 'kiss' option along the way- not when they try and make you pay for a hookup in other books (ID, for example).

Trust me, I love smut as much as the next person, but I think not having smutty scenes works in favor of the story. Not just because PB is painfully safe and formulaic when it comes to writing smut, but also because it allows a lot more room for interpretation with any NSFW sides to the relationships. (Translation: PB smut writing would try to imply Aiden and MC doing PIV when they or at least my Evie anyways absolutely would never)

Even that aside, I don't feel like PB is the best at integrating the sexual aspect into LI routes? So it kind of helps to drop that aspect entirely and focus more on the more SFW dates and sneaking-away-for-private-moments, which also allows for more variety in the kinds of scenes you get with LIs.

I will say though, that the writing in some scenes can get borderline smutty (PB what the fuck do you mean "You slide your palms down Aiden's back and he shivers and inhales sharply at your touch" "You kiss every inch, leaving no bit of exposed skin untouched" "Aiden squirms in your grasp" "Eventually your lips find your way back up to his mouth") but like... you don't have to read it as inherently spicy.

Honestly it's hard to pick which of my works I'm most proud of this year. I love just about all of them. But here are the ones I was arguably the most excited about sharing.

This list is in no particular order. I'm also going to exclude creations that made it into my Tumblr Top 5 because I want to give some of my other works a chance to shine too.

1. OG High School Story- Smut Fic- "Piano Training". Posted Dec 10 2024.

This isn't my first time writing smut for Choices, let alone HSS, but this was my first time sharing HSS smut to Tumblr. Probably goes without saying that I was very nervous about doing that lol. Nevertheless I'm very pleased with how this fic turned out. I love how I wrote it so much <3. I'm honestly proud of all the stuff I've written on here, but this one especially.

2. OG HSS x ID- Edits- The Squads doing the Jingle Bell Rock dance. Posted Jun 6 2024.

This is one of those edits that kinda kicked me in the ass to make (along with the TerrorFest wardrobe genderswap, the possessed ILITW Aiden, and all of the HSS Prime full-body sprites), but god was it sooooo worth it. I like that it kicked me in the ass.

3. OG HSS- Edits- OG HSS male LIs in some fancy upscale-ish dresses. Posted Feb 22 2024.

This is arguably my, for lack of better words most iconic edit. Everyone and their dog who knows me knows how obsessed I am with depicting Aiden in that sexy black gown. And real talk though, it is an edit I'm proud of for having pulled off, considering the original outfit transparent. So I can't not mention it here.

4. All of my fucking art lol.

Yeah I'm gonna cheat lol. I wanted to put at least 1 art piece here but I can't decide which made me the most excited. So I'm putting them all here. And hey, they're all made in 2024, so it counts. I'm very proud of myself for getting up to sharing my choices art and putting Aiden into cunty poses/sitations as well as cunty outfits <3

Technically this isn't all of my art, because I've also drawn Evie and a couple of my friends' MCs as plushies (an ongoing series that I'm greatly enjoying). Those aren't on this list currently because I'm planning on giving it its own masterlist. Which I probably should do soon.

5. Uhhhhhhh OG HSS- Edits- Aiden x Evie Summer Swimsuits. Posted Jun 14 2024.

I could put the full summer swimsuit series masterlist here (especially since all except Cedric x Jocelyn and I think Alan x Emma seemed to really get very noticed) but I'm especially fond of the Aidevie one of course, so I'm giving it the boost here. Also I feel vindication for putting Aiden in something actually flattering and not whatever tf that canon gave him lol.

Hi, how were you able to create the full body of Sakura from High School Story?

Ohohoh I'm glad you asked! It's a long and tricky process, but I'll explain it as best I can. With visual aid.

Originally I'd just grab a random bare body asset, adjust it to her skintone, assemble the face sprite assets onto it, and then edit new outfits accordingly.

Since the original sprite was posed with a hand on her hip, I went with the "fem junior" bodytype (used for f!Dakota from WEH and f!Drew from RWB). But it didn't feel quite right to how her original sprite looked... so I decided to do it a different way.

First I'd piece together the original sprite. Then I'd go through the files to pick a full-body sprite that suited her– I went with that of Kamilah from Bloodbound instead. I made color adjustments as necessary to match Sakura's skintone.

Then I'd use the liquify filter tool (I use Photoshop/Photopea) to adjust the body to fit onto the pose that the original sprite gave us. Including making the left hand more like the hand on the original sprite.

Then, I'd need to merge the parts from her original sprite that were bare, to the body sprite. The original sprite shows a bare arm and one full hand, so I cropped it out from the original sprite, and (as shown in the above photos) erased the parts from the body asset that were going to be replaced.

I'd use the spot repair tool to make up for small gaps from the cropped arms and shoulders (where the straps of her dress were)

Then using air brush, air eraser, smudge tool, spot repair tool, and liquify tool, I'd merge the two pieces together.

And of course, I needed to adjust the thumb nail on the left hand

And we got our Sakura sprite! Ready to dress up in various outfits! :DDD

As for the outfit... I always make sure to keep the outfit leftovers when I cropped out the bare skin and arm.

So now I just need to add the bottom part. How exactly I add the bottom part depends on the top outfit piece itself, but for this one, I cropped out the lower white part, and added new skirt and leggings, to make the outfit fairly similar to her outfit from the original Prime game.

The skirt is recolored from f!Hayden's harajuku outfit from PM, and the leggings come from the thigh high stockings accessory from QB MC, adjusted accordingly with the godsend that is the liquify tool. Shading was added with the burn tool.

And that's how I made full-body Choices Sakura!

The process can vary, but I use these basic techniques to make full-body sprites of other half-body characters in HSS. The other ones I've shared so far are Myra and Mia, and I also have a couple for other characters such as Julian, Payton, Sydney, and Koh, as well as new outfits for the characters I have completed, that I haven't shared yet/am still working on.

Cadybear's Reviews- Endless Summer

Welcome to the sixth official Cadybear's Reviews post! Today I'll be talking about Endless Summer, which I have ranked on the "Diamond Tier" at 10 stars out of a possible 10. My last and only playthrough of this series was back in July-August 2021.

Compelling story, choices that matter (I think), memorable fun characters… what’s not to love? 

What especially stands out to me is the juxtaposition of what seems like a fun summer vacation trip turning into the motherfucking apocalypse. And it is unapologetically brutal about it, and in a damn good way too. And the three different endings are great in that they each have their own unique benefits and consequences (except Rourke’s ending, which has only consequences and only tricks you into thinking it’s all benefits). 

The characters were all memorable, being one of those few series where the larger cast works in the story’s favor. Craig and Zahra are probably my favorites and definitely a beloved couple for me– most memorable for me was the scene in Book 3 when Craig saw Zahra’s decoy skeleton, streak of maroon hair and all, and screamed and broke down. Like, that actually shook me to my core. And how we saw Craig’s vulnerable side in that scene and how he cares so much about Zahra??? I love them so much, your honor! 

I played this one without spending any diamonds, and contrary to popular belief, I did find the story easy to follow. You definitely miss out on a lot of lore, but you can still understand what is happening. I did, however, dislike that dating your love interest is basically paywalled– but in fairness, it does feel a little more authentic to have it be determinant on your relationship score with them. 

I think the only thing I have any real problem with is that… I don’t remember the relationship scores having a lot of effects on the story, other than a series of events in the last chapter of Book 1… but it has been a while since I last played this, so yeah. Also, Raj should have been a LI. 

And side note, forgive me if I’m soapboxing for a bit, but let us not forget that this is the first official GOC MC book (MW and TCATF, though they have both a f!MC and a m!MC, are technically more dual-MC stories) and I think it’s worth bringing up any time someone tries to defend pointless genderlocking. GOC isn’t a new thing for Choices– or even for PB in general, as HSS Prime and HWU both had GOC MCs. While early Choices did have a handful of genderlocked books too, it has also regularly had GOC stories. And it’s the only of these kinds of apps that regularly has had and still has GOC stories, whereas the rest are 99% genderlocked (and wlm-locked) stories. Bottom line, people aren’t demanding more GOC out of nowhere or out of some “misogynistic male entitlement”. 

Overall, a brilliant series.

Cadybear's MC-LI couples: The Ultimate Crash Course Masterlist (NOTE: List is subject to frequent updates)

As a corollary to my MC Crash Course Masterlist, I've decided to make a comprehensive list of all of my official MC-LI couples in Choices. I might also make some "profile/intro pages" for each of my couples, we'll see.

"Canon" Couples

The Couples that I have done official playthroughs for (or am well into a playthrough for) and are part of my personal canon. These are the main couples that you will see me post about the most.

DLS: Dick Ryder (m!MC) x Peg King (Hispanic Charlotte King)

Important Notes: - Dick and Peg marry after the DLS timeline, Dick happy to be the (step)dad to Yvette (and, of course, officially a DILF).

HSS Prime: Jordan Price (f!MC) x Julian Castillo

Important Notes: - Jordan does not start to feel attraction for Julian until much later into/after the HSS Prime timeline. Prior to this, she dates a prep boy named Danny who later moves away. - Jordan and Julian begin to date at the end of OG HSS Book 3. She's stayed in touch with the rest of her friends after she graduated, and confesses her feelings for him when she asks him to prom. - Their relationship definitely lasts a long time at the very least. They most likely do not get married, but do remain a couple.

HSS OG: Evie Ayana (f!MC) x Aiden Zhou

Important Notes: - Evie and Aiden share their first kiss at homecoming and confess their love for each other at prom. - The two maintain a very strong relationship following the OG HSS timeline. They get married after they both graduate college, it being an open marriage, and they eventually have kids. - There also exists a AU parallel universe in which Evie joined band and got even closer with Aiden while developing a talent at sax-playing.

HSS:CA: Cher Lee (f!MC) x Ajay Bhandari

Important Notes: - In Book 1, Cher did not have any romantic interest in Rory or Ajay. She saw Rory as a friend and didn't care much for Ajay. Rather, she had a bit of a puppy crush on Erin. - Cher does not take an interest in Ajay until the timeline of HSS:CA Book 2. - Sometime during Cher's sophomore year/Ajay's senior year, the two break up on amicable terms due to uncertainties about their relationship following Ajay's graduation. - However, they do maintain a strong friendship through the years. When they're a bit older and wiser, they start dating again and eventually marry and have kids.

ILITW: Jo Hunter (f!MC) x Lucas Thomas

Important Notes: - Prior to ILITW timeline, Jo has slept around with a handful of other guys in a series of one-night stands. But she's never had a committed relationship before. - Jo and Lucas date after the ILITW timeline, and maintain a long distance relationship while Lucas is in college. - They eventually get married, having become engaged by the end of ILW. It's an open marriage. They probably will not have kids though, maybe one at the very most.

ILB: Harper Addison Vance-Fisher (demigirl!MC) x Tom Sato

Important Notes: - Harper and Tom stay in an official relationship post ILB timeline, but they do not marry. They just live together in an apartment as a couple and the proud parents of Boo Boo, AKA the giant teddy bear that Harper won for Tom at Lake Day.

ILW: Cedric Zhao (m!MC) x Jocelyn Wu

Important Notes: - Cedric and Jocelyn start out as a friends-with-benefits relationship that eventually gains a romantic element too. - This relationship might get replaced with Cedric x Amalia, or maybe even an open/poly relationship where Cedric can be with both Joss and Amalia.

MAH: Peggy Stone x Tyler Woods (White)

Important Notes: - Peggy and Tyler begin dating with an open relationship by the end of MAH. - The two maintain a strong relationship post MAH timeline. Whether or not they marry is uncertain, but they do share a home after they both graduate. They most likely will have kids.

ROD: Adelaide Zhou (f!MC) x Colt Kaneko

Important Notes: - Addi and Colt have some romantic and sexual attractions for each other, but the relationship is nothing more than a brief fling and they do not become an official dating couple. They may or may not reunite years later, though.

RWB: Atticus St. James (m!MC) x f!Drew Young (White)

Important Notes: - Drew in this universe is pansexual. - Their relationship lasts for a couple of years, but I haven't fully decided their endgame.

WEH: Sage Amin (f!MC) x m!Dakota Winchester (East Asian)

Important Notes: - Sage and Dakota's relationship does not last, for obvious reasons. :(

Parallel Universe "Canon" Couples

The couples that are for my secondary MCs and are part of my personal canon for parallel universes. These are also couples I may post about a lot, albeit maybe not as frequently as their main-universe counterparts.

HSS OG: Alan Parke (m!MC) x Emma Hawkins

Important Notes: - This relationship might get replaced with Alan x Maria, or maybe even an open/poly relationship where Alan can be with both girls.

WIP Couples

MCs and Couples where I've more or less decided their romantic route/endgame, but they are still awaiting a playthrough before I can officially incorporate then into any aspects of my personal canon. I might still share with the occasional headcanon I come up with here and there, but I'll need more time doing their actual playthrough first in order to develop them better.

ATV: Jax Elara (m!MC) x Kepler

Important Notes: [None yet]

AME: Jamie MacLeod-Noor (f!MC) x Carson Stewart

Important Notes: - Unfortunately, Carson is not a LI option in the canon game. So in my playthrough, Jamie will end up engaged to either Adam or Derek, but then ditch whoever it is at the wedding for Slater. This will translate very differently in my headcanons. - Jamie has some attraction to Adam/Derek, but not enough for a committed relationship. She half-thinkingly accepts the proposal, but quickly realizes she does not want this marriage. - But when Slater flirts with her, she starts to figure out a way to get out of the wedding and snag Carson instead. She plays along with the wedding to reap the benefits of it, and leads Slater on in order to better plot her way out. - At the wedding itself, she ditches the groom. But much to the disappointment of Slater, she does not confess feelings for him. Instead, she finally confesses her feelings for Carson. - She and Carson then begin dating, and have a TV wedding for the fun of it. They live together in the fancy beach house (and there may or may not be a queerplatonic relationship with Jen too), and they might get married some years later.

BaBu: Jayden Cassidy (bigender!MC) x Myra Dixon

Important Notes: - The two definitely stay together after getting married. I haven't yet decided the names of their kids though.

BB: Jasmine Yin (f!MC)

Important Notes: - She's probably going to have relations with Adrian (white), Jax, and Kamilah. She might also develop some queerplatonic attraction to Lily. Whoever she will end up closest to is still being decided, but there's definitely gonna be a poly endgame. - She may also hook up with Drac and Priya. - In my headcanons, she will also have relations with Nikhil. - In my first playthrough, Jax is the one who died at the end. IDK how this will play out in my upcoming more official playthrough. But whatever the case, I might change it in my headcanons so that Adrian is the one who dies– both Adrian and Kamilah should have been eligible too, and I feel like it's more fitting for Adrian to die. IDK yet.

ES: Emilia Harris (f!MC) x Raj Bhandarkar

Important Notes: - Unfortunately, Raj is not a LI option in the canon game. In my official playthrough, I might have Emilia be a bit flirty with Jake, and maybe even get handfasted to him just to see what the route is like. But in my actual headcanons, it doesn't go past flirting and she instead gets in a relationship with Raj. - Her relationship might not last, because I will most likely be choosing the Vaanu ending for her.

ES: BJ Kingsley (m!MC) x Estela Montoya

Important Notes: - I might have BJ choose the Endless ending, meaning that his relationship with Estela should be able to last.

HSS OG: Violet Jones (f!MC) x Michael Harrison

HSS OG: Samara Al-hakim (f!MC) x Caleb Mitchell

TH:M: Otto

Important Notes: - She has had feelings for Ansel for a long time, and in my headcanons, she'll get to have hate sex with him in that scene in the wine cellar. Her official endgame however is still being decided. I'm considering a possible friends-to-lovers with Rye, but it's not certain yet.

TPA: Jane Bond (f!MC) x Callum "Booty Galore" Grey (Indian), m!Rowan Salazar, m!Lou Belrose, m!Alexis Reid

Important Notes: - Unfortunately, Alexis and Rowan die in the canon storyline. I may or may not rewrite this.

TRR: Lew [Last Name Pending] (f!MC) x Liam Rys (East Asian)

(Possible) AU Couples

Parallel universes in which MCs that already have endgame LIs in my personal canon end up pursuing different LIs. In some cases, if I like the AU couple better than the original planned couple, I might switch and make the AU couple the canon one.

HSS OG: Evie Ayana (f!MC) x Michael Harrison

Important Notes: - This will definitely not be taking the place of Evie x Aiden in my personal canon, but some of it will still be incorporated in the Evie x Aiden canon. Evie and Aiden do have an open relationship, so Evie will sleep with Michael every now and then. - In the AU parallel universe where Evie pursues Michael, their relationship might be more queerplatonic.

ILITW: Jo Hunter (f!MC) x Andy Kang

Important Notes: - This will likely not be taking the place of Jo x Lucas in my personal canon, but some of it will still be incorporated in the Jo x Lucas canon. Jo and Lucas do have an open relationship, so Jo will have some relations with Andy, Connor, maybe even Dan and Noah too. However, the relationship with Andy would definitely be the strongest of the outside relations.

ILW: Cedric Zhao (m!MC) x Amalia de Leon

Important Notes: - This couple has the possibility of replacing Cedric x Joss as the main route and endgame for Cedric. Though if possible, I would like to maybe go for a poly endgame.

Unserious Couples

The MCs and couples where I just did not take them seriously and really only exist for fun.

The MCs and couples that exist solely for me to rewrite their stories in my personal canon because their actual canon story is in my shitlist tiers.

Important Notes: - These characters exist in my headcanons for the sole purpose of headcanoning that the baby is rescued from this awful couple and adopted by Evie and Aiden. I have yet to decide the name of the baby though.
