"Lights, Camera, Drarry" (LCDrarry, LCD) is an anonymous prompt-based fest, where authors and artists create a piece that is inspired by or based on a film, a theatre play, a TV series/show, a podcast, an audioplay/drama or an audiobook. The main pairing for all submissions is Draco Malfoy/Harry Potter ("Drarry"). Participants can include any side-pairings, original characters or characters from the remixed works as long as the final submission is still a Drarry-centric piece.

If you have any questions, need help or just need to contact the Mods, please email the mod account lcdrarry@gmail.com. General questions can also be asked on tumblr (ask), but please do not send any direct messages on the different platforms.

PROMPTING GUIDELINES

Prompting will run from 20 January 2025 to 1 February 2025.

Claiming will open on 3 February 2025.

Prompts are submitted via AirTable. Click here.

You may submit up to 10 prompts. The form will accept one prompt at a time.

You may leave prompts without intending to claim.

You may prompt for yourself. The Form will accommodate this.

Prompts must follow the Fest Rules.

If you are prompting a work that you wish to have turned into a podfic, you must have the consent of the original author. Evidence of this consent must be shown before the prompt can be accepted. Authors are welcome to submit their own works for podfic creation.

Remember that this is a prompts fest, not a gift exchange. Creators are afforded their creative license. Do not make your prompts excessively detailed.

Prompts cannot be edited after they are submitted. If there is something that absolutely must be changed, please contact the Mods to discuss. Anonymous prompts may not be altered.

Once prompts are submitted, they will be available in the gallery. The gallery will typically update live, however some prompts may require Mod review, in which case they will be available after they are approved.

Hermione is locked away in her secret garden of books and predictability, enrolled in The Healer Academy in Edinburgh and set on being normal.

Draco has never been normal but after standing trial, discovering Muggle London, and befriending Neville Longbottom of all people, he's even less so. Studying for his Potions Mastery in Paris was always a part of the plan but realizing his anonymous pen pal is Hermione Granger? That was certainly not.

Summary:

The first thing he notices is the beach view. For what the shitty motel cost, it’s really quite stunning. The sea is rough but welcoming, a deep, dark blue that contrasts with the red flags fluttering in the light breeze.

Regulus makes his way over to the window, opening it and feeling the breeze wisp through his hair, so soft it feels like a caress. Hello, it says, are you ready for what comes next?

Or, James has been chasing storms for as long as he's known what a storm is, and Regulus is his favourite one to chase.

HP Cry Me a River Fest Details

Intro:

A collection of Harry Potter fanworks with no “Happily Ever After.” All pairings and ratings welcome!

Rules:

1. This collection is not open to works that feature underage marriage/sex, incest, beastiality, necrophilia, or pedophilia/grooming.

2. Authors are allowed to use the “creator choose not to use archive warnings” option as desired. However, some triggers must be tagged. See FAQs for details.

3. Each work must be at least 500 words.

4. The fest hosts are the final arbiters on whether a piece violates fest rules or is inadequately tagged. Respectful discussion is welcomed, but tantrums on these subjects will not be tolerated.

5. You may post your work to the AO3 collection at any time. It will appear publicly as soon as the moderators approve it. Final due date for one-shots, artworks, and the FIRST CHAPTER of multi-chapter works is April 21, 2024.

FAQs:

1. Readers beware, especially if you are easily triggered. All stories in this fest will be sad.

2. Open to all HP fandom eras (canon years, post-war, Marauders, next gen, etc), pairings, ratings.

3. Accepting one-shots, multi-chapter works, and artworks of all kinds.

4. The following triggers must be tagged using either the AO3 tags or with an author’s note at the start of the story: -suicide -self harm -violence -torture -non-consensual/dubious consent sex (even if only referenced).

5. Stories that glorify rape, sexual assault, or domestic violence will not be accepted.

6. Events/situations such as breakups, infidelity, miscarriage, murder, angst, kidnapping/imprisonment, addiction/substance abuse, mental illness, and character deaths do not require tagging in this fest.

7. If you have any additional questions, please submit an ask.
