Remembered I loved the Light Fury so so much so I made an edit for her because I still think that the fandom mistreated her so terribly. She's literally just a sparkly dragon who was captured and abused acting on instinct. She didn't "take" Toothless from Hiccup, she courted with him and he chose to go with her. She saved Hiccup's life in the end, she just doesn't immediately trust humans because humans tried to end her life and locked her in a cage. They muzzled her and used her to try and kill another dragon. She's literally just a wild animal who wanted to survive and find a mate and I love her so fucking much you don't understand.

you asked & i delivered 🫡 even more hiccup headcanons and stylization thoughts… with an extra helping of the haddocks!!! hiccup is a fun exercise in thinking how does a neurodivergent norse teenager save the world. astrid’s line in DoB’s episode ‘fright of passage’ still sticks with me. paraphrasing a bit, it’s something like this:

ASTRID: come ON hiccup. don’t tell me you haven’t been dreaming about going after the Flightmare — learning about it, riding it, training it… HICCUP: i don’t spend all my time thinking about dragons! ASTRID: are you seriously saying that to me with a straight face right now?

I'm making a lil paper animation with the concepts of stopmotion for school based on the httyd books! All I gotta add in now is Toothless jumping onto the rock but I have to do that digitally sadly. It's a pretty fun process ngl and the result is looking great to me
