You know what? the way TSAMS is going today really does remind me of GAME OVER from Homestuck.

As in--everything going wrong, most people dying, and the only way they could fix it was by giving John retcon powers and making the timeline we'd been viewing a Doomed one so everyone could get a second chance in the new Alpha timeline.

Which, like--I was personally fine with that, given the mechanics of that media and other shenanigans they did there. And it wouldn't be too out of the question for similar to happen here, given what we saw Lord Eclipse do in that one timeline where he got the Star, and the whole "memory modification" spell that other Eclipse did when New Moon first woke up.

It is entirely possible for them to do similar here, and that could even add some drama in to whatever Lunar has going on given how dangerous Star power can be.

A lot of people have access to Star power now. They could definitely do something with it.

...It still wouldn't fix everything, especially depending on who was doing the retconning, but...

That's just what this whole thing was reminding me of. The aftermath of Game Over. (Including the fact that some people actually got vaporized and vanished into the void/glitches in spacetime, actually)

But that is just assuming they want to "save" some aspect of this specific timeline or these specific character iterations. The... happier? relatively speaking?... possibility is that they just say that maybe, while searching for ways to save Solar/fix some other issue, Moon/New Moon/Solar/the computer/someone was just looking through what other universes attempted to fix their own problems and then got caught up watching all the drama unfolding here before shutting down whatever they were viewing it on and deciding not to go down those same paths.

The first drawing shows sokka looking down with slightly zoned out expression. zukos hands are reaching up.

The second image shows sokkas surprised face held between zukos hands, who raised up his face inches away from sokkas.

The third images shows sokka leaning into zuko. Both of them kissing. zuko holds on to sokkas shoulder and neck. Both look happy. End ID

Small shoutout to that person that tagged, once upon a time (last year), the sketch with "mermaid zukka". And would you look at that! Its meremay! And this is not really mermaid themed, but... it remained me to finish it! -sweats-

Last year's anniversary piece was solely focused on Chica, so in this one she's the butt of the joke (I'm so sorry Chica... not that she's complaining about getting a face full of cake anyways)
