I love a quirky house, so thanks to Ingek73 for finding this one. The theme of this 1953 home in Nijmegen Kwakkenberg, The Netherlands, is black & white. It has 4bds, 289 m² /  3,110 sq ft, €2.75m / $3.02m. Look at this very unique home.

We enter the main hallway which is a large space with an industrial look staircase.

Enter the living room area in flat black. I like the pink coffee table. Note how the big blue X fits the counter on the right.

The open concept kitchen is also flat black.

Off to the side, and separated by a wall, there's a dining area and a family room.

Then, downstairs, be sure to stop and grab what you need from the dresser under the stairs.

Then, proceed to the closets.

And, the shelves.

This bd. has a black tile wall and a glass divider. It feels very institutional.

And, there's a sink in the room.

There aren't as many toilets as there are tubs.

The stairs in the entrance hall go up to the other bedrooms.

This huge bedroom has a dining table with a tub right next to it.

There are some built-in shelves and a sink, too.

This bedroom has a sitting area with a sink.

And, this bedroom has a wall that is also a dresser. Behind it is a tub and a sink.

The nursery also has a tub and a sink.

And, here is toilet #2.

There's a terrace, patio and hot tub in the back of the house.

That looks like it can be used as a little glass greenhouse.

Lots of trees surround the house.

The front entrance, garage and parking areas.

Thanks to Ingek73 for finding this home in the Netherlands on the market again. It's the weirdest thing b/c the bedrooms are under water, up to the windows. 4bds, 152 m² / 1,636 sq ft, €985k / $1.41m

From every room on the main floor you can see the water, &/or one of the neighbor's homes, b/c of the configuration of the build.

And, from other rooms you can see a deck.

Large kitchen. Love the gray cabinetry.

Off the living room there's a storage/utility room with a sink.

Half bath on this floor.

Coming down the stairs to the bedroom floor. Remember we're below water level.

This room is submersed in water up to the window, which is probably why the windows are high. Why is this floor underwater? I have no idea.

All of the bedrooms are partially submerged.

Below water closet, too.

Where does the waste water go?

Fascinating that you can wash clothes while below the water level.

There are 2 decks on the water.

Each cluster has 5 residences.

Parking is a bit of a distance.
