OOoo I'd like to think that high ranked Angel's can tell if someone is lying or not. I'm pretty sure Adam probably had a mixed reputation, so whenever any low-ranked angel would tell him "yeah! your the best!" or something else as a lie, he'd easily figure it out..but I dont think he would ever call them out bc he still likes getting praise no matter what. But what do we see with Pentious?

Hating something just because it's popular will always make you seem like a bit of a weirdo, but watching/reading it and being able to give genuine reasons why it's not good will literally always be more respectable. You sound so much more sophisticated when you say "this happened on page 45 and it ruined the book" than when you say "I looked at the cover art and it sucked and now I have a deep hatred of the whole series."
