marvel drives me crazy with hiring some of the same actors to play different characters but i love rdj so much that i’ll let him playing dr. doom slide.

i kind of get why he was chosen as dr.doom as dr. doom takes on the identity of iron man for a period of time, but like dr. doom isn’t tony stark. i mean idk how they’ll play it out in the mcu and i know they like all the alternate universe stuff so maybe they may play a “tony stark becomes dr. doom in another reality” card. but what would’ve been better than all of this is if they just didn’t fucking kill tony stark to begin with!!

oh my god, they are making a queen charlotte bridgerton show. and like... why? why can't we just have actual biopic. why can't we have a biopic that shows that this was a woman who didn't take sugar in her tea to support abolition, but was part of an institution that fundamentally profited from slavery? why can't we talk about the joyful young woman who was forced to obey her rigid husband's rules, have 15 children, and could be both kind and cruel. just make a fantasy show. just. make. a. fantasy. show. i am tired.

As I write lesson plans, the more I consider getting certified in a subject other than English. Trying to teach kids how to write a multi paragraph essay by spring when half of them can’t write a paragraph, and at least a fourth of them can’t write a complete sentence, is so frustrating because it reflects on MY teaching when test scores suck. They keep shoving data trainings at us thinking it’ll save test scores. I’m like… we KNOW how to access and interpret the fucking scores. Give us training as to how we can teach these skills better because something clearly isn’t working at our school or any of our feeder elementary schools. 💀💀
