Dr. Iplier hummed softly as he worked, eyes glazed over, a dull, red sheen to otherwise warm, tired brown eyes. He didn’t mind the twitching of his patient, just made sure to grip his chin harder, holding him steady as he worked oh so slowly. Nearby, he could hear his next patient’s muffled whimpers, and he glanced over, a smile easy on his face, sterile gloves slick with spots of blood. “Now now, it’ll be your turn soon. Don’t make me rush now~”

The patient in his grasp jerked, and Dr. Iplier looked back to him, needle still held between two fingers. Yancy. That was his name. Dr. Iplier had vague memories about him…holding him…kissing him…he shook his head, and smiled, raising the needle and pressing it to his bottom lip. “I’m almost done. Just hold still, and this will all be over soon.”

“Fuck you!” The words were partially slurred, only half his mouth available to speak. He jerked again in Dr. Iplier’s grasp, fighting the duct tape that bound him to the chair. “Doc – I don’ understand –”

“Shh…” Dr. Iplier patted his face, and pushed the needle through. Yancy flinched and whimpered as Dr. Iplier pulled the thick, black thread through the wound and up through another puncture through his top lip. Already, about half of Yancy’s mouth was sewn shut, his lips bulging against the tight thread. And Dr. Iplier worked steadily, evenly, slowly but assuredly sewing the rest of his mouth shut.

#the funny thing is this would almost have to star shen jiu as haruhi?#if we're looking at the one poor kid among all the rich trust fund babies #either that or SY and SJ have to be the twins‚ which does do weird things to the different roles & relationships #like. if SJ does not come from a street kid background then why is he Like That #hmm maybe there was a Parent Trap situation where the twins got split up between the parents #and SY went with a parent who was fairly decent and SJ went with a parent who was ... not #and they were reunited in high school?#they wouldn't be able to pull off the Hitachiin interchangeable double act #but they might get some mileage out of a good twin-bad twin act instead #okay let's try SY and SJ as the twins and Luo Binghe as Haruhi #Yue Qingyuan as the well-meaning but kind of a himbo club leader #Liu Qingge as Mori perhaps? he doesn't fit great as Kyouya -- not manipulative enough #But then again Shang Qinghua and Mobei-jun would best fit Hani and Mori's weird codependency thing #so that does leave the role of the SIC for Liu Qingge #I don't think the roles all line up exactly -- we may have to combine or split out some #I feel like the demon characters have got to be in some kind of a rival club #but it's been a while since I've seen OHSHC so I can't recall most of the plotlines #either way Luo Binghe accidentally breaks something #and gets co-opted into the host club to work off his debt #this solution was proposed by SY and Luo Binghe went '....okay!'#then unfortunately. he met shen jiu #ouran high school host club crossover #scum villian self saving system

nobody ever talks about it, but i feel like it's always important to remind y'all that the 10 episodes in which BotBots takes place in don't (usually) happen back-to-back, so here's a post about it because it's kinda fucked once you think about it. TL;DR: the implications of how much time passes in this series are terrifying and the fact that the lost bots didnt lose their minds has me rolling a little

unrelated steak cuts pride hcz bc i need 2 spread more propaganda and also to catch your attention >:] (Burgertron's are the butch, genderqueer, transbian and ADHD flags, Bonz-Eye's are the gnc, butch, nonbinary and autism flags!)

There's gaps in time between each episode, even with the half-n-half episode format, with very few exceptions. Ep 1B, (Never) Be Yourself, takes place the very next night, right after 1A (Mall than Meets the Eye), and in episode 10 it's established at the beginning it also takes place the next night, after 9B (Shopping Brawl). Hell, Dimlit in Love and On the Bot Prom Dancefloor have a gap in time between each other-- Dimlit states it's been 6 days and 11 hours since he and Jackie started dating in OtBPD! One of my friends, @knavewoods, did the math on it, and because the earliest date mentioned in the show is February and there's a Halloween/Christmas pop-up store, they estimated that by that point the Lost Bots had been at it for 7 months at LEAST, and that by the time of the finale it'd have probably been a year and a half because of the Science Alliance episode having a beach theme to it w/ the implications of it being summertime. (Not that either of us think that the Bots know what seasons are, but it's compelling evidence!)

A year and a half. That is a LONG time to be isolated from literally everyone you've ever known and loved, and not only that but the Lost Bots are being actively BULLIED half the time. Sure, they have allies like Lady Macaron and Jackie, but like. There's no way that ISN'T insanely upsetting to any of them, ESPECIALLY Burgertron. Imagine having your girlfriend play Hot-N-Cold with you for a YEAR AND A HALF. Idk about y'all but I'd be fucked up about that too. And not only that, but the finale establishes that Spud basically had it out for BT from the start. Imagine trusting someone so much that theyre your BEST FRIEND and it turns out they hated your guts the whole time and was basically the reason everyone wanted you gone forever for a YEAR AND A HALF. I don't think i'd be able to recover from that for a while. I don't know how to close out this post properly, so just. like. look at them and then absorb the words im saying into your brain ok? ok. bye :3

I probably have a personality disorder but also the diagnostic criteria for cluster b personality disorders are fucking bullshit, so like, nah.

#does some of it describe me? absolutely. but i also fucking hate how it's written #like. a lot of that is written like the person is doing that on purpose and not like they have unaddressed issues #like. wow. i fucking wonder why psychopath and sociopath are used to mean 'manipulative monster'#almost like people are being villainized for not responding to trauma in the 'correct way'#also unless i am somehow made the host. i'm not going to influence the front enough for us to ever get diagnosed with that #besides that we technically have a 'mixed personality disorder' that we didn't get explained or even told. and we never gave that letter #to anyone. so it's not like that's on anything else. and it does also very much feel like 'you didn't act like we wanted you to so we gave #you a diagnosis for a non-specific personality disorder. as we also cannot decide which box to shove you into'#like. there very much was no actual diagnostic process or anything. also highly likely at least in part cluster b #mainly because we kind of stopped caring about actually continuing the rehab after the jobcenter decided not to pay for it anymore #also because most people who's rehab there was discontinued had a bpd diagnosis. they couldn't fucking handle anything beyond anxiety and #depression. but also only mild anxiety. like. that was such fucking bullshit #-lutz #anyways. ignore me
