Greetings Earthlings!
We are here to study you all. I have been here many times and have hopped into a human to learn many times, but it is my apprentice Zodath’s first time here. I explained to him many times how to take a host to be able to function properly on Earth. We landed near this sporting event. We left our ship and slithered around in our slug forms. I saw these two female humans that seemed like good hosts. I told Zodath to watch and learn as I made my way over to the female with lighter hair. I dove into her pant leg squirming up making her squirm as well. This allowed me to find her insertion port between her legs quickly. I shot inside causing her to moan. I made my way up inside her body and took her brain. Her thoughts and memories melded with mine. I had become Diane. Her friend looked at me with concern as I motioned for Zodath to take her body. He made his way over and leaped toward her pants leg. The bane of our kind, skinny jeans, blocked his entrance so he stuck to her pants leg. She noticed the slug on her and screamed. I tried to restrain her as Zodath quickly made his way up. He was just about to enter her agape, screaming mouth when her squirm caused him to fall into her cleavage. He bounced around in her bosoms for a bit before finding his way down below them and slid into her belly button. He found his way through her and took her over. Her name is Carmen and she is my best friend. He laughs and hugs me full of giddy all excited for his first takeover. I try to keep calm and remind him of the mission, but I would be lying if I didn’t feel my host become excited by the intimate interaction with Carmen. Maybe I could show Zodath the best part of being human real soon.
- We cum in peace,
Folugh, or Diane, I love her body.

good evening heres another au
lewis hamilton but he is bees. human host body with a hivemind. he bleeds honey. he is vegan from like age 4 when he became a host body and eats random flowers. he’s weird and constantly warm and CONSTANTLY buzzing.
he sends out his bees like scarabs in a mummy movie but not for nefarious reasons just because he’s curious. never uses the bees mid race but will use ur for track analysis.
no ones really clear on what lewis is, the consensus is eldritch horror (assume au is situated in a world where this is possible)
vaguely nonbinary as the hivemind calls him queen and uses she/her (and internally lewis uses it too and prefers it) and externally he/him is used (its the 2000s, hes black and catholic (reference: ME))

I did a thing. But please, if anyone has another idea for a fic where Malcolm finds out about the alien life form earlier in the episode, go ahead and write it!! I want all the fics of this because it’s under appreciated. Also, I’m excited to delve into the scientific and health-related process of this fic because the fetus being attached to Trip’s pericardium?! That could be so dangerous! I wish the episode would have focused on that, too, but I get that they were going for a more humorous approach.

“2000s horror movies had to adapt rapidly in the new decade. by 2005, the horror genre was as popular as ever. horror films routinely topped the box office, yielding an above-average gross on below-average costs. it seems that audiences wanted a good, group scare as a form of escapism.”

What drives me even more insane about this scene is how you'd expect Gojo to imagine High school era! Geto in the crowd. Or at least not the cult leader, worst of all the curse users Geto Suguru. But no, it's the cult leader Geto. It's Geto as Gojo last remembered him. As Geto last was. Whatever choices Geto made, wherever his choices led him and them, however he was, whoever he was, traumas and messed up ideas and bad choices and ill reputations and scorns and all. Gojo wanted Geto Suguru there. Not any ideal version. Not any "what if" version. Not any "at some point in time before things went downhill" version. Not any "when your hands weren't stained with innocent blood" version. He knew very well what he wanted. And he wanted it all the same. He wanted Geto Suguru. However he was. He just wanted him to be there. He just wanted him to be.
And he didn't want him to help him, he didn't want him to fight with him even if they were strongest together and always fought together for a while. He just wanted him to be there in the crowd and cheer him on. He just wanted him to stand there and give him one of his sweet, heartwarming smiles that shaped his eyes into crescent moons. He just wanted him to be. Then even if Gojo had died in the end anyway, he would have been satisfied. It would have been worth it. Only if Geto was there.

Danny Phantom was not used to fighting magic users. Ghosts, yes. But humans with powers? No.
So when a cult managed to successfully summon and bind him, he lacked the knowledge of how to stop them.
And they tore him apart.
His core was broken into pieces, each one then implanted into one of the most loyal cult members (or potentially sold off to another person to use…) to grant them a portion of Phantom’s many powers.
However, the cult didn’t entirely know what they were doing either. You see, it turns out that shattering Danny’s core in that manner didn’t truly end him. His soul still persisted, still refused to die even as it was trapped amongst the disparate shards. Though each individual piece lacked the strength of mind or power to affect their hosts, they would gradually forge themselves together anew should they ever be gathered back together.
And after Red Hood killed several of the cult’s members, that process began. Their shards, now freed, transferred to the vigilante, instinctively latching onto his proto-core. Though still not yet whole enough to form a truly conscious fragment of Danny, they are enough to start to nudge Hood in the right direction (bolstered in effectiveness by Jason’s connection to death)
Jason can feel it deep within his soul. There’s something more to this cult’s powers than just normal magic, and he has a growing need to find out what that is. To stop them. To burn them all down and dig their secrets from the ashes.

we really didn't get violent enough about roe v wade being overturned. but and also - you're one person. you donated money. you went to the protest. you did what you could, which felt like doing basically nothing.
recently some big paper published an op ed (why did you even read it? you knew you'd get upset) about how it's gross that men can't find a partner because women don't want to suffer bad dates - they'd rather go to yoga class. you actually laughed - well, yeah! and it was funny until it wasn't, because something about it made your stomach churn. this is the thing, you want to say, but you don't have the words for what the thing is. just that men being bad at dating is your fault.
the thing is also on instagram. you don't know if it's a setting or algorithm thing, but these days, the most hurtful comments always seem to skim the top. simple reaction is don't read the comments but - you're human, so you're curious. you want to respond to every weird, sanctimonious one with replaying something a million times to find evidence they're lying about their gender is literally sexual harassment you shouldn't be proud of this or maybe get a fucking life you absolute dickhead but you've gotten into enough of these battles as a kid. nothing ever resolves. it just makes you upset.
your father was radicalized. the thing is - you go to therapy about it and yet never find the words for exactly the way that one hurts.
the other day your sister predicted that a commercial that aired during the superbowl was going to cause trouble. you wanted her to be wrong about that. this morning, while scrolling, you saw someone post exactly that - he got so angry i had to leave. it was terrifying. it reminds you, however bleakly: there are entire swathes of people who do not worry about domestic violence. who have no idea why you would put keys into your fist. who do not understand "it's better to be rude than dead." who have never googled am i being gaslit.
the other day you found out there's a bill that would make it so if you have a uterus and are braindead, you could fulfil your cattle purpose and carry a fetus to term. you think about the fact that the leading cause of death for pregnant people is murder. you think about ongoing and informed consent. you think about how, out of fear, if your ex boyfriend had pressured you, you absolutely would have said yes to it. in the comments, you write there is no way that these documents wouldn't be immediately forged. this is going to be misused. and then just delete it, sighing. get up and go to work.
the other day they overturned roe v wade. we weren't nearly violent enough about it. somewhere, a clock is ticking. it's been ticking a long time. you want to say it's time, but it's been time for a while, hasn't it.

I just posted about the aesthetic of Diyu and my surprise others aren't thirsting over it in the Jentry Chau vs the Underworld tag, but adjacent to that...
Why is no one else losing their mind over the miniature corruption arc and its aesthetics?!?!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I'm not saying a damn thing about the writing, or her character arc, or her being able to overpower the mougi where neither Mister Cheng nor her mother had been able to...
I'm just saying goddamn, that aesthetic!
