IMAGINE THIS: Lil baby Damian, bored and being not quite old enough to start learning how to use proper weapons (curse these wooden ones, he wants true steel!) is wandering the base. This is not out of the ordinary, he’s the prince after all. What is out of the ordinary is that his shadow, his Akhi, is not here. 

Technically, he should be napping, but he woke up and neither his mother or his brother- who is quiet but gentle and isn’t a good speaker (mother said it was from a head injury)- is there. Which is how he finds his way to the Pit, which he’s not supposed to be at. Or at least not alone. 

But! His mother and Akhi are there! And- and Akhi is screaming and he’s never heard him scream like that, like he’s in agony- His eyes are green- they were blue, had, had Mother placed him in the Waters- 

And then the pool is bubbling- he should be running away, get assistance or something, he’s five, he shouldn’t be running towards it when everything is screaming to flee. But one moment he’s at the doorway, the next he’s clinging to his akhi as something writhes in the Pit, a mighty bellow echoing even as the Shadows take defensive positions. 

The water cascades, laps at their feet, splashes everywhere as a scaled form rises from the depths, wings like a bloodied sunset spreading as fur bursts into flames. Crimson eyes glare down at them all, pupils slits as they bare down at his Akhi. 

The creature- the dragon- dips its head down, its breath warm as it chuffs at his akhi, wings folding as though it is bowing. His akhi is clinging to Mother, shivering, several scars glowing as they fade and a burst of hair burned white.

Yes yes it's not the dark itself, it's what's in the dark, yes yes what if something comes out of the dark what if it touches you and you can't see what it is yes i understand but what if it was a cat. what if as you sat in the darkness and the thing touched you you could tell that it was a cat. And what if even though it's so pitch black that you can't tell if you can see your hand in front of your face or if you're only imagining, you know somehow that the cat is as inky black as the darkness itself. What if you could feel it rubbing itself noiselessly past you, making friendly overtures. What if you felt it throw itself comfortably across your feet and stretch out its paws. What if it rubbed its little head against you. What if it climbed up into your lap with the calm assurance of a creature who can see perfectly well where it is going even if you cannot and has decided it can trust you even though you've never met. What if this little piece of the inky black night sensed your fear and sadness and decided to comfort you. What then

hiii, does jeyne poole finds out about sansa's horse girl phase?

they are bestfriends of course they are doing this together<3 sansa's horse is purple with aqua hair and jeyne's is pink with orange hair like sunset<3 the horses are friends because they have sacred bonds due to an evil horse killing their parents (the horses are orphans) and they are united in their revenge quest and love for each other. they used to live in a cute cottage and eat berries and such but now they are on the run because the evil horse is after them. so they are hiding at sansa and jeyne's houses in the closets (they have pillows set down so the horses will be comfortable) and sansa and jeyne have set up various home alone style traps so the evil horse cant get to their horses. some of the traps involve glitter which accidentally falls on ned one day and he's still finding pink glitter behind his ears 3 years later.

the evil horse has a sad backstory and actually was friends with the horses' parents and betrayed them for a mysterious reason which sansa and jeyne are helping their horses find out. there are lots of codes and clues to crack. also the horses need special horse medicine which is actually random shit like flowers jeyne and sansa find and put in a bowl of water. sansa steals a little vial of perfume for the potions and cat goes crazy trying to find it and blames it on arya (arya is known for her thievery) and arya is like NO IT WAS SANSA and sansa does come clean crying and weeping cos she feels bad. but she does not betray the horses' trust she says she just liked the smell

thinking about the time that my brother and i got kicked out of the free pool at my sister's apartments because we were both more comfortable wearing a stretchy t-shirt and shorts to swim. like the guy that kicked us out was so mad at our audacity to not be wearing his idea of a swim suit. he yelled that we had to get out even after my brother, who was like 10 years old at the time, tried to explain that the t-shirt he was wearing was swimsuit material and still got berated. sorry this turned into an unnecessary long rant but like SERIOUSLY? even after being told that these were our swim clothes that we changed into expressly for swimming he kicked us out because he wanted to maintain the look of the pool ?!?!?!
