I was thinking about this but Beast formers could be a potentially interesting concept to explore in a One sequel

Because Obviously they exist, Trion turns into a robotic lion and Onyx's presence implies there's more of them, question is where are they?

I would suspect the reason they are not present in the film is because either Sentinel and the Quintessons drove them to near extinction or perhaps Sentinel sold them to the Quintessons as slaves (which could explain where the Sharkticons come from)

Or perhaps instead in an extension of Sentinel's caste system (and taking a cue from idw), the beast formers are the lowest of the low, treated literally like animals and forced out of society

In any case, it would be neat to see a sequel introduce surviving beast tribes comprised of the classic G1 beast formers, y'know, the mini-cassettes, Dinobots, Insecticons, Predacons, Terrorcons, Seacons, the Decepticon Headmasters (who were all beast formers), Horrorcons, Firecons, the Monsterbots, etc, and explore why they chose the side they did (more specifically why so many of them chose the Decepticons), and in the Dinobots' case, maybe have them initially join the Decepticons only to switch sides for the Autobots

While I could mention the Horrorcons who fought in the Universe War—Leatherhide, Blackarachnia, Nightprowler and Waspinator—I assume you are speaking specifically of the triple-changing Headmaster Horrorcons binary-bonded with Nebulans. Though, now that I mention it, I did once hear of a Leatherhide who bonded himself to… ah, my apologies, I'm getting off-track.

I believe that in at least one universe, the Decepticon forces under Scorponok did indeed include a third Horrorcon by the name of Backbiter. Like her fellows, Backbiter was a powerhouse among the Headmasters; she transformed into both a Cybertronian "flying wing" stealth bomber and an enormous, heavily armored snapping turtle. Though not as fast as some Transformers, the difficulty of detecting her jet mode allowed her to get in close to her Autobot enemies before converting into turtle form, becoming a nigh-invulnerable mobile bastion; in robot mode, meanwhile, she wielded a Psyche-Out Blaster that disrupted the brain modules of enemy Transformers to cause vivid hallucinations—something that proved useful if she ever needed to retreat from a fight.

While outwardly the least unpleasant of the three Horrorcons to be around, Backbiter was in truth a cruel and spite-driven individual who—as her name suggests—would feign politeness to others' faces while spreading vicious rumors and mockery behind their backs, taking a perverse pleasure in breaking other Decepticons' spirits while masquerading as their friend. Perhaps her only ally that she didn't treat this way was her Headmaster partner Gemba, a scheming Nebulan socialite desperate for prestige and fame, who was more than happy to ride Backbiter's coattails to a position of power.

One notable adventure saw the Horrorcons lay an ambush for the Autobot Headmasters, Backbiter using her Psyche-Out Blaster to trap them in nightmarish visions. It was only thanks to their Nebulan partners being resistant to the effects that the Autobots were able to escape and defeat the Horrorcons—that, and Hardhead's legendary stubbornness, which helped him to push through! Backbiter and the others were forced to flee, swearing revenge against the Autobots and their Headmaster partners.

Rating Every G1 Quote: Headmasters

I'm starting with the headmasters because...because I want to

Fortress Maximus: "Prepare for war, but strive for peace," 9/10 literally just the autobot code, docking one point for irony.

Chromedome: "A battle plan is only as good as its programmer," 8/10 hes the leader of the headmasters... hes a programmer... I get it. kinda lame but so is he so thats fair.

Brainstorm: "The strongest tyrant cannot crush freedom of thought," 10/10 killer line, no notes

Hardhead: "Its either MY way-or No way," 5/10 booooring also I honestly cant really see him saying this.

Highbrow: "War is the playground of the ignorant," 10/10 pretentious as hell but also slay I love the energy.

Scorponok: "Kindness is no virtue...and cruelty is no vice," 8/10 you had me at the first part i'm not gonna lie. Can 100% see him saying this.

Weirdwolf: "My pleasure with my enemy's pain comes," 7/10 ok evil yoda. Kind of boring but the way he talks gives it personality.

Mindwipe: "Just one look from me and you've lost," 9/10 overconfident but totally in character. He would say this and immediately lose.

Skullcruncher: "Autobots are like bad fuel -- weak and greasy," 4/10 no comment.

Nightbeat: "Truth is revealed in the smallest detail," 6/10 I mean yea it is you're right.

Siren: "Act first, ask questions later," 5/10 BORING you and hardhead need to go back to the drawing board PLEASE.

Hosehead: "If at first you don't succeed, keep trying," 6/10 *sigh yall have got to be more creative. giving him one extra point because its cute and I know hes trying his best.

Fangry: "Leaders are for fools who need to follow," 8/10 I see the vision It would slay if he reworded it just a little bit.

Horri-bull: "Smash all that stands and trample the rest," 5/10 generic ahh Decepticon quote.

Squeezeplay: "Place brawn before brains and victory is yours," 7/10 YOURE A SABOTEUR (with an intelligence of 5 so this tracks actuallly).

today, I learned that Alyssa Sutherland usually has dreams in character while filming something. and while filming Evil Dead Rise, she also had a dream in character, where she killed someone she used to know (and doesn't like) with her bare hands, which was "trippy", but "therapeutic" (direct quotes)

Just left horrorcon Glasgow at let me tell you, girls wearing deer skulls are a lot less scary when they band there antlers on signs.

Also saw a Pyramid Head walk into a wall, William Afton comforting a crying kid & Jason and Miachel apologising to each other after bumbing into one another

Also met the guy who played Piglett, he had a good vibe. But also got insulted by Willy Wonka and almost ran over by slimer.

So yeah it was fun

RIP Julian Sands

It’s official. The remains discovered Saturday are those of Julian Sands, who had been missing since January. While it is a tragic loss, hopefully, his family can now have some closure.
