Fawn's   bright   brown   eyes   widened   in   shock,   her   tiny   body   stiffened   akin   to   a   stunned   deer.

She   hadn't   considered   crossing   paths   with   a   human   in   a   place   like   this!   Though   it   wasn't   unheard   of   for   humans   to   spot   fairies   ....   it   wasn't   ideal.

A   long   silence   lingered   before   her   wings   fluttered   nearly   as   fast   a   hummingbirds,   she   had   to   get   out   of   here!

A   glance   and   then,   she   made   her   escape,   zooming   farther   into   the   forest,   the   pixie   dust   that   emanated   from   her   left   a   sparkly   trail   on   the   earth   and   grass   below.   The   only   thing   signifying   she   had   been   there.

"dude, y'gotta trust me when i say it's shit." i say with a groan as i throw myself back on the couch. this is the trouble with song writing, i guess. some days it comes to me easier than others. i toss my notebook down onto the coffee table, raising my hand and pressing the back of it to my forehead. "i think it's over for me ... for the whole band actually." i sigh dramatically, and i'm doing a shit job of hiding the smirk on my face. "bathtub ciggies is officially over, time t' throw in th' towel."

Artist note: I’m so proud of this :))) I know it’s a lot of dialogue and reading, but dialogue is grueling work for me. I’m glad with the art and for the amount of pages I made in such a relatively short time span -w- page 5 was super fun to work on. A lot of blood, sweat, and hours here... :) The backgrounds were a big bore tbh, but I finished them! Yippie!

People were pulling up for the event and Sam had convinced a group of friends to show up. He was a bit of a geek for all things space-related, so he was excited. He hopped on the bonnet of his friend's truck and pulled out a slider from the cooler bag of snacks, and took a large bite. "Yo, Liv...did you make these?" He asked before he took another large bite. He didn't realize just how hungry he had been.

This   woman   was   a   kind   soul,   Fawn   could   sense   it   -   and   so   she   held   no   qualms   about   fluttering   down   upon   her   open   palm.

"H-Hi   there   ...."   she   began,   a   tad   awkwardly.   "...I   think   I'm   kindaaaa   lost....   have   you   seen   a-   ...."   and   then   she   paused   with   a   furrowed   brow.

Could   she   even   understand   the   fae?   She   seemed   different   from   other   'humans'   but   ....
