It's 11 o'clock at night, and you've been working on the same design for the last four hours. The deadline has been changed to a day away. So you bunkered down on your kitchen bar top, sketching and typing away.

You work as a head of costumry at a company that makes a bunch of the massive dresses and old timeybclothing for movies and productions and all those things. A new line of fairy dresses have been customed ordered, and you've been put in charge of them. You were excited when you got them, but now you kind of wish there was someone to share the workload with who you trusted would actually put hard work into.

You may have slight trust issues.

There's barely anyone at your work who's under you, takes it seriously. They will just put the least amount of work into something and call it a day. There have been times when you've just wanted to get violent with them, but alas, you can't. But that doesn't mean you haven't switched to a few other harmless methods.

You let out a groan as the tip of your pencil breaks again. It's the third time that's happened. You reach for the sharpener, and as you're twisting the pencil in it, it jams and the pencil breaks. "Seriously!" You exclaim stressfully.

Your girlfriend, Hope, looks up from where she was sat on the couch, watching TV. Her facial expression softens, turning the TV off before getting up.

She's been worried about you all night, but you wouldn't allow her to pull you away from it. But now she definalty has to, she doesn't want you to overwork yourself to this extent.

She walks over to you and places a hand on your back. "Why don't you stop for tonight and get back to work on it tomorrow, during work hours." She kisses your shoulder.

You look up from your sketch book, "I can't, there's no way I can get this all done tomorrow" you sigh. "I'll help you then, with the designs or talking to your boss"

"Talking?" You raise an eyebrow. "Or compulsion?"

"Which one will make you feel better?" She asks, making you let out a chuckle.

"...fine" you groan, "you win" you tell her, shutting your sketch book and turning your laptop off. "Thank you" she tells you, holding your hand as you get off the barstool.

She leads you to your guys' bedroom. As soon as you get in there, you flop onto the bed. "I've missed you" You told the bed.

"One of the many reasons you shouldn't be overworking yourself, not getting enough sleep. Come on, before falling asleep in your jeans, let's get pajamas on" She rubs her thumb in circles on your hand.

"Mmmm, fine" you comply, getting off the comfy bed. You reluctantly change out of your jeans and t-shirt into navy pajama pants and a white tank top. After you finish changing, you go to the bathroom washing your makeup off and brushing your teeth.

"Yay, comfy" you smile as you crawl into bed, next to where Hope's leaning against the headboard, in her pajamas as well.

You lean against, cuddling up to her. Your head falls to her chest and right arm thrown over her stomach. She wraps her her arms around you as well, placing a hand softly on the back of your head.

"I'm surprised you haven't spelled anyone at your work yet, it's impressive, considering if they really are like what you describe them" Hope says as she runs her fingers through your soft hair.

"Who says I haven't" you mumble into her chest. "Some of them are plain stupid, they should be thanking me for making them at least a little competent."

"Okay, slightly less surprised" she shakes her head, playfully rolling her eyes as well. "They deserve it" you grumble.

"I bet they do, Baby" she places a kiss to the crown of your head.

In the next minute, you're fast asleep, cuddled into your girlfriend.

You've been with Klaus through a lot. Proving yourself through Hayley's pregnancy to not just be a common witch the hybrid falls for you. What happens when it appears you've betrayed him?

You laughed as you tried unsuccessfully to squirm free of Klaus’ grip on your waist. You'd made the mistake of stepping into the room that had been turned into his art studio to let him know you'd be out for a few hours. That had somehow ended with you in his lap as his hands roamed your body, mouth savoring the soft flesh of your neck and the sounds he could elicit from you at even the simplest of touches.

“I've got to go Klaus” you tried but the moment you spoke he bit down on your pulse point which made a moan slip from your lips that was borderline pornographic. He pulled back to smirk at you, eyes dancing with amusement “Doesn't sound like you want to leave me love”

You shook your head with a laugh “Remember the faster I meet Elijah and we pick a gift out for his and Hayley's anniversary, the faster I get back here” you rolled your hips against his before adding “and the faster you can do as you wish to me”

He damn near growled at the promise in your words, leaving another kiss against your lips “Fine, leave me to spend the day with my brother” you crawled out of his lap and shook your head “Don't you dare make it sound like that. You know I love you Niklaus Mikaelson. Besides we're shopping for Hayley who happens to be Elijah's girlfriend, my best friend and the mother of your child”

He grinned as he stood up “A bit unorthodox when you phrase it like that isn't it?” You leaned up to brace your hands on his shoulders before catching his lips in a searing kiss “Almost as unorthodox as Klaus Mikaelson being with a witch yet here we are”

He nipped at your bottom lip “Go ahead and leave now little witch before you make it impossible for me to let you walk out of that door” you smiled slightly “I love you Klaus. I'll see you a little later” “I love you” he watched you walk out of the door and before it closed behind you the sound of his footsteps told you he was going back to the sketchbook he'd abandoned when you walked in.

As you walked to meet Elijah your thoughts slipped to Klaus. The relationship that had spawned between the two of you hadn't exactly been a love at first sight thing. He was an original, the first hybrid and you a witch. He despised witches and you had known a healthy avoidance of anything that was older than you and as powerful as his family.

What had thrown you into the Mikaelson's world fully was when Hayley called you. She was pregnant by Klaus. It was a miracle baby, one that shouldn't exist and that some supernatural beings didn't want to exist. She needed help and you gladly offered yours.

You'd known Klaus and his siblings in passing. You weren't as old as they were but you didn't exactly have a human life span either. The day you walked into New Orleans you knew people would be after your head. The line in the sand had been drawn and you chose your side.

The new few months passed with fight after fight happening. You knew Klaus didn't trust you but his siblings started to and Hayley did fully. The day it seemed his feelings truly began to change was when you took on your former coven by yourself, standing between Hayley and them.

You'd been bruised and bloody after that fight but it had ended with Klaus acknowledging your strength.

The amusement Rebekah had shown from the sidelines as she watched Elijah and Hayley orbit towards each other while you and Klaus fought your attraction tooth and nail.

You didn't want to want him, nor he you. Yet when an option was given more and more the two of you chose each other. Hope was nearly ten months old when you and Klaus finally acknowledged there was something between the two of you.

The sex had been extraordinary from the start. Klaus brought new heights of passion to you and he swore loyalty to you, claiming no other lovers. For a while you assumed that was all it would be until Klaus asked if you'd like to move into the compound.

When you questioned his motives he'd smiled “My little wolf and my littlest wolf is safe under Elijah's watchful eye. I'd like to have my little witch close at hand also. Better to make sure you're safe, I know you can protect yourself but I'd much rather protect you”

The day Klaus told you he loved you was an ordinary day. Hope was with the two of you and you were sitting on the floor of his art studio with her. You and her were playing with finger paints, a canvas in front of you as you helped her smear the colors across. She'd learned your name alongside the usual mama and dada. Of course she'd also had Lijah down and Bek.

You sat with her in front of you, using your power to see the image flash through her mind of what she was trying to get the painting to look like and when it began to take shape she let out a giggle that brought a smile to your face “Look at that Hope! You're an artist just like your daddy” you cut your eyes up to see Klaus watching the two of you with a smile, you returned it with one of your own before turning your full attention back to Hope.

After you'd laid Hope down for her nap you'd found him in the courtyard. You'd noticed he'd been quiet since that smile you'd shared and wanted to make sure he was ok. The moment you approached him he turned and smiled, quickly crossing the space between the two of you. He pulled you into a kiss that made your head swim. When you shot him a questioning look he'd simply said “I love you”

You'd of course returned the sentiment, long since having accepted the feelings on your end but not wanting to push him away.

You shook your head to clear your thoughts considering you'd already made it to the coffee shop you'd told Elijah to meet you at.

You walked in and spotted him. He smiled when he noticed you, easing his way through the crowd and you saw a cup in his hand despite the fact that he normally didn't drink coffee. He followed your line of sight and held it out “I called Hayley to find out what to order you”

You took it with a smile “Such a gentleman, aren't you” he shook his head with a laugh “Where should we begin?” You grabbed his arm, looping yours through it “Just hold tight Mikaelson and have your wallet at ready”

Hayley was beginning to worry, you and Elijah were supposed to meet her over an hour ago. She checked her phone again for texts as Rebekah and Klaus walked into the door of the place she shared with Elijah and Hope.

“What exactly is going on?” Rebekah asked first, eyes wandering around the room for her niece. Hayley motioned to the stairs “She's taking a nap” then looked at Klaus “They were supposed to be here over an hour ago. The plan was for them to go shopping for me then Elijah would come with Hope for us girls to go out for dinner”

Klaus nodded slowly and pulled his own phone out to see he hadn't received any texts or missed calls from either of you. “We'll go check the stores she frequents in the french quarter. Should anything have happened though we know those two can handle it”

Hayley nodded, her mind already drifting to what could have happened. Memories of you on your knees, enduring the spell meant to rip Hope out of her womb flashed through her mind. “I'll get a few wolves out looking for them too”

The french quarter had been exhausted. Your scent was picked up near one of the cemeteries then lost. Davina couldn't get a feel of your magic either. Klaus’ anger began to flare with every moment that passed without you in his arms. “If something happened to either of them..” Hayley finished his thought by saying “I'll help you tear this whole damn city down while your sister gets Hope out of it”

One last thought occurred to Klaus. If you were in danger and had the slightest opening you'd go home, in search of him or one of his siblings for help. “Let's circle back to the compound. Call your wolves in but tell them to stay ready”

Hayley nodded, feeling a pull herself to check the Mikaelson compound. Maybe it was just Klaus wanting to check or her hoping that you two were there? She loved Elijah but the thought of losing you broke her heart as well.

Klaus walked in with Hayley behind him in case there was a danger she was better protected. Nothing looked out of place as the two of them headed for the stairs leading up to everyone's rooms.

They checked the bedroom you and Klaus shared, his art studio and Rebekah's room to no avail.

Klaus was headed for Kol's room when Hayley called his name. When he looked back at her she motioned across the walkway “Elijah's old room is open” that was unusual.

He nodded to her, moving in front of her as they approached the room. The sound that hit his ears was one he was all too familiar with. Your moan circled around him, encasing that beast that laid just beneath the surface of his skin.

Hayley fell away in that moment as did everything around him. He pushed the door open silently to see you on the bed, bare from the waist up save for the black lace bra adorning your breasts. Your jeans were unsnapped but still in place. Elijah was on top of you, his shirt discarded on the floor, your legs around his waist as he kissed your neck working the sensitive skin there as his hands roamed across what of your body was already bared to him.

“Elijah” a breathy moan fell from your lips which Elijah met with one of his own, a moan of your name.

Hayley and Klaus spoke at the same time, yours and Elijah's names falling from them.The heartbroken tone of Hayley's voice was plain to anyone listening while Klaus buried his beneath anger.

The two of you froze on the bed and looked at each other then at the door before falling away from each other.

“What the hell?” You spoke scrambling for anything to cover yourself with and Klaus laughed humorlessly “Sorry to interrupt love” your eyes found him and he could see them widen as you looked from him to Hayley then to the state of undress you and Elijah were both in.

You weren't sure what happened. One minute you and Elijah were walking out of an antique store and the next you were hearing Klaus call your name while Hayley called Elijah's.

The darkness burst around you and you felt a weight on your body. You looked up to see Elijah hovering over you, the confusion in his eyes matching what you felt as the two of you looked to see your lovers at the doorway and fell away from each other.

“What the hell” you whispered, pulling the sheet up to cover your chest and trying to snap your jeans. You heard a bitter laugh before Klaus said “Sorry to interrupt love”

You looked up and met his eyes, feeling your heart break at the pain you saw there. “Klaus this isn't..” “You having sex with my brother? That's indeed what it appears to have been leading to” He turned and walked away. You stumbled out of the bed looking around frantically for your shirt. Elijah held it out as he'd already found his own. He was careful to not meet your eyes or touch your flesh.

You slipped it over your head and paused long enough to say “I'm sorry Hayley” before running after Klaus.

You caught him in the courtyard and grabbed his arm. “Klaus please” he spun around to face you and a chill of fear went through you when you saw his eyes had changed. “Get your hand off me witch”

You dropped his arm as if it burnt you. He hadn't called you just witch in a long time. His little witch, yes but that was affection. The same line of him calling Hayley little wolf and Hope his littlest wolf. This time you knew he meant it as a curse. “Klaus you've got to know Elijah and I would ever hurt you”

He shook his head “Get out” “What?” He motioned to the door “GET OUT AND DON'T COME BACK HERE” you'd never been afraid of Klaus until that moment. A thought of Elijah's wellbeing went through your head but he was old enough to take care of himself.

You nodded and walked to the door, pausing to snatch your purse and jacket off the floor. You didn't even remember how they got there.

You looked at Klaus but his back was to you. You'd lost the man you loved and your best friend in one moment and you weren't even sure why. You'd never looked at Elijah like that nor he you. You'd find answers one way or another. You walked through the door letting it slam behind you. Fear and sadness wouldn't serve you in that moment. You needed anger and revenge to be what flowed through your veins. That was the only way to get answers.

It was a fancy penthouse house you could see all of New Orleans from every angle

“Are you sure we’re doing the right thing?" Another Voice spoke, his voice filled with worry.

"Hey, I'm not an object" Y/N snapped trying to break free

The woman's vision begins to blur together with an unbearable pain when she looks at her foot, a piece of wood is seen embedded in her flesh.

“Oh, isn’t this poor little thing in pain?” The same guy who talked about pissing off an original cooed and lifted Y/N's head with his finger. His face shifted to his vampire one and he snarled, showing his fangs.

“It’s too bad Elijah can’t save you, I can’t wait to see the look on his face when he realised that you’re dead."

" I can't wait to see Elijah cut out your tongue and then your heart... But I think he prefers a more special torture"

" ENOUGH, enough of this nonsense .. it's time for my food"

The man displayed his fangs, then thrust into the young woman's neck, letting the blood flow.

Unbearable pain shout through my neck as his fangs clamped down on my neck, I screamed as the pain shot through my whole body. I vaguely remembered that Elijah said that a vampires bite would hurt bad, of course Elijah has already fed from me, a few times but there has been blood sharing. This is not at all pleasant as it is with my Lijah

I screamed feeling my body giving way when I hear screams and see some bodies of men standing outside being thrown lifeless

"Elijah...."

"Elskan, I'm going to get you out of here." Just seeing my boyfriend's face relieves me.

Seeing him like that, so lethal somehow moved me, a fight was fought between him and the guy who caught me in the first place.

"Lucian, I hope hell is nice this time of year ." Elijah said with his vampire face

"You can't kill me , I'm much better than an Original, my bite can kill you..." Lucian said mockingly

"You're absolutely right, until we find a way to kill you I can't do the honors but nobody said about torture. You know I love torturing anyone who hurts my family"

With that a piece of wood was hurled towards Lucian's abdomen and my rescuer came to pick me up.

"It's safe, let's go home... Niklaus takes care of him"

"He drank from me, I'm too weak" I said without looking at him, fearing that this would increase his thirst.

"Elskan, look at me. No problem, I'll heal you and I'll carry you myself" Elijah bit his own wrist bringing it to my mouth

When the metallic taste hit my tongue I felt relief from the pain, from the fear of it all, my wounds started to heal as he saw the wood in my flesh

"He will suffer, won't he? "

"I sure do hope Freya can find a way to make him ordinary so I can kill him with my own hands" Elijah blocks my view of Nik dragging Lucian's body out of the room.

"Elijah ... Thank you"

" For what?"

Some people have this weird fixation about making Klaus choose Caroline over Hope, especially in fanfics. I’ve seen fics where Klaus abandons Hope, or kills Hayley for disrespecting Caroline, or just ignores Hope in favor of Caroline. Like some people forget Hope’s his daughter - of course, he’s going to choose her over everyone. I think any decent parent would choose their child over a potential girlfriend/boyfriend. And Hayley is Hope’s mom, a very important person in her life. I don’t think Klaus would kill Hayley unless she posed a threat to Hope or if she tried to take Hope away from him. Honestly, I don’t think he would even tolerate people openly disrespecting Hayley in front of Hope, regardless of who it was.

Another thing that I’ve noticed is how people are so determined to make Klaus a father figure to the twins, particularly Lizzie. I’ve read a fic in which Klaus clearly and openly favored Lizzie over his own daughter - which would never happen. I think that if Klaus and Caroline actually did end up together, he still wouldn’t be that present in the twins lives. Since he is overprotective to the extreme, I think that he would hold some resentment over how the twins treated Hope in their younger years. He’s petty enough to hold a grudge against a kid. And anyway, I don’t ever see Alaric allowing Lizzie or Josie to get close to Klaus, no matter what Caroline says.

I don’t know… it’s just weird that people keep diminishing Hope’s relationship with her own father to benefit their ship. Sorry for the rambling.

People fail to remember that Klaus is his own person and not an extension of the ships they like, and that ship half of the time is klaroline because they are obssesed with making him her personal puppy, as if that ever happened in canon.

Granted, Klaus said a few nice things to her and did like two good things to make Caroline not feel so guilty about wanting to fuck him, but other than that there's no way he would ever seriously chose her over his family, especially his own daughter. He chose to save her over Rebekah back in Mystic Falls because his sister is immortal, Caroline isn't.

I've never actually read long klaroline/klamille/klayley fanfiction. Sure, I use to read some oneshots from time to time because they have really good writing, but this fanfics I'll talk about best used to show up while I was in the klaus or mikaelson tag and I used to take a look because I was curious. It has some wild elements, that's for sure.

I've seen a lot of fanfics where they make Caroline some weird ass hybrid/tribrid that manages to be a werewolf, witch and vampire all in one and it's like wtf. They complain constantly about Hope's existence because she breaks canon and yet they make this baby vampire the biggest Mary Sue ever. Yes, the producers created Hope because they wanted to create their own magical baby like Renaissance from Twilight, but they make a fool of themselves by making Caroline be anything but a vampire. Caroline was incredibly mean and a complete hypocrite as a human and don't bring me the "she was insecure and always in Elena's shadow" because I'm insecure too and that doesn't make me be a bitch to the people who love me. Klaus was always threatening her whenever she spoke in a way he didn't like, and that was when she was already the "sunshine vampire" people claim to love so badly, so people who think he would even let her live if he met her as a human are laughable.

Klaroline shippers are so pressed about Hayley being Hope's mother, I can't even tell you how many posts, videos and weird fanfics I've seen of Caroline being her mother and being the "Mikaelson's light". I've said it a lot of times, but the Mikaelson wouldn't like Caroline at all: Rebekah and Hayley were constantly slutshamed by her, Elijah hates people who insult/hurt his family, Kol was literally killed by one of her best friends and he would not be okay with that, Finn couldn't care less and Freya probably just heard bad things from her, if she even knew about her existence. And in top of that, Caroline literally threw a party when she thought Klaus died.

When they have any Mikaelson or Klaus, especially Klaus, kill Hayley, I just lose it. Why the hell would Klaus ever do that? He literally lost his mind when she died, he was a mess and they don't even want to admit he loved Hayley: new flash, he did. She was his family, the mother of his daughter, probably his best and only friend and he loved her. Not in a romantic way, but they still get pressed because how dare Klaus have feelings for anyone other than their queen Caroline.

Also, their obsession with making Caroline be called queen? It's creepy and weird, it must be really annoying for them that Klaus only called Cami and Hayley a queen. Those two girls were a thousand times closer to be considered family by him than Caroline ever could, and his siblings did care for those women too.

This reminds me of a really good point in klaroline fics: if Caroline is the one pregnant with Hope, Klaus will react a lot better. I just can't see this, Klaus’s daddy issues are literally the main point of his character. He hated Mikael as much as he desired his love, he always yearned for one of his parents to care and no one did: Mikael, because he was a piece of shit, Esther, because she was terrified of her husband and there's literally no other reason in canon that explains why she allowed Mikael's abuse and Ansel, because he was forced to stay away and was killed twice. That isn't gonna change just because he got Caroline, sorry to tell you.

I can see him reacting less murderer and less threatening. Alkaline covers this so well and it's one of my favorite Klaus fanfics, if he has a romantic relationship with the woman he got pregnant he wouldn't tell the witches to kill her and their baby, but I do think he would still think at first she cheated, not only because of his paranoia but also because he is supposedly incapable of having kids.

The whole Lizzie and Josie thing is really a good point! I agree, Klaus would never favor the twins over Hope or even Marcel. Those are his kids, he raised them and he never met Josie and Lizzie until they were like what, twelve? Thirteen? He even said people needed to ask him permission to even talk to Hope, he would 100% hold a grudge against the Saltzman twins for being mean to his daughter. I also think that the whole "Klaus would like Lizzie more than Josie" is because physically and in terms of personality, Lizzie is the one that resembles Caroline the most. So when writers have him openly prefer Lizzie isn't only weird, it has some uncomfortable pedophilic vibes.

I've only seen klaroline and some klayley shippers say that about klope, how he would love x girl more than Hope and etc. I hardly doubt they even remember canon Klaus, just their fanfic version because if Klaus ever had to chose he would always chose his daughter. I've also seen, in a lot of fanfics, not only klaroline ones, how Klaus would love more or completely ignore his oc kid (they also have Hope he a complete bitch from the start, even if it's her seven years old version) and it's just strange. There are a lot of reasons why Klaus and Marcel didn't have a stable relationship, mainly all the bad blood between them and the fact that Marcel was already grown up by the time they met, but he never hesitated to put himself in danger for him. Klaus even refused to kill him, knowing he was endangering Hope. I just can't see him ignoring his kid, especially if he got to actually see him/her grow up.

(They really haven't changed all that much but I feel like sharing)

–I loveeee Delena. Yep, I love this ship with all my heart and I'm not afraid to say it.

–I loveee Damon, probably another problematic opinion but I don't care.

–I don't like Caroline. There, I said it. She is just the kind of person that would irritate the shit out of me. Honestly, until season 8 I couldn't handle her scenes.

–Bonenzo is the best. Loveee it. They deserved better and I personally want to stab Julie Plec for how they ended.

–Bonnie deserved better. This is an universal truth.

–I hate Tyler, but I recognise that he was right to hate Klaus and right to be mad at Caroline for sleeping with him. Revenge on Klaus was kind of dumb, but understandable. He was right to want him dead.

–Klaus is my beloved, always going to be and I'm not even sorry.

–Marcel is a Mikaelson!!! Marcel is Klaus's son and his treatment is another reason for me to feel murderous to the writers of the shows.

–I don't like Kol. Yeah, he was right in many things, but he came across as somehow self-righteous and believed himself better than his family. Like bro, you aren't.

–Finn deserved better. I honestly still wonder if Finn knew about Klaus's real father, 'cause if he did Klaus would have a valid reason to hate him. I am saying this because in The Originals season 2 episode 3 we have flashbacks of young Klaus and the necklace Esther gave him. If I remember correctly Finn was always in the background and even retrieved the necklace when Klaus lost it. Given that Finn remembered Freya and what happened to her, it wouldn't be far fetched to think he knew who Klaus's real father was and hid it as well. That being said, he is a victim of his parents as well and deserved better.

–I hate Elijah. He just gives me the wrong vibes.

–Marcel and Rebekah made sense and I ship it. The Mikaelson family is insane with their romantic relationships, so they just sort of clicked.

–Kol should have taken the cure instead of Rebekah. Bekah could just adopt, but what is going to happen with Kol when Davina dies? Nothing good. Plus, he loved being a witch.

–Hayley and Klaus and Klaus and Cami made way more sense than Haylijah and Klaroline. Honestly and throuple with Klaus and the two women who call him out on his shit the most would have been chef kiss. Hope deserved two moms.

–Every Klaus ship made more sense than Caroline. Bonnie? Bennett witch and he likes witches. Aurora? First female vampire (other than Bex) and met him when he wasn't as he is now. Elena? Has Tatia's face, and I think if Klaus just tried to befriend her and explain why he needed to break his curse she would've helped. Camille? Her mind, she clocked him the moment they met, not to mention the O'Connell legacy. Genevieve? Powerful Witch. Hayley? Baby mama, werewolf princess and hybrid, not to mention they are similar. Stefan? The ripper days gave off fruity vibes. Damon? I love their scenes together, they have a similar vibe to them. Rebekah? He is literally killing her boyfriends left and right. Elijah? The codependency is strong here, Elijah's girlfriends have a higher mortality rate than Rebekah's boyfriends. Katherine? Tatia's face, also they are similar. Greta? Their few interactions in season 2 pointed to a thing going on.

–Elena is overhated. Baby has the biggest survivor's guilt in the universe and still she soldiers on. I hate when people said she was less compassionate as a vampire, I honestly thought she was the same. Like, she controls her hunger to become a doctor. She is too good for this world.

–Enzo should have been introduced sooner, Bonnie and him should have gotten together sooner.

–They should have explored Damon's trauma with Augustine more, and the fact that he always disregards his emotions.

–Klaus wolf side should have been explored!!!

–Unpopular opinion, but not everything Katherine did was necessary for her to survive. She could have easily contented herself with one Salvatore brother, but she had to go after both.

–Davina and Klaus needed more scenes together. I mean, that's her adoptive grandpa!

–Lily was awful, Damon was in his rights to not forgive her.

–I liked Valerie, and I liked her with Stefan.

–They should have explained more about Klaus ability to have children, 'cause that was weird. I loved it, but weird.

–Alaric should have died and the twins should have been raised by someone else.

–Matt lived too long.

–Jeremy and Damon were kind of funny.

–Bamon was really great.

–They should have addressed the fact that growing up Damon was the only one there for Stefan. We saw that in the flashbacks but they should have said it more.

–Damon purpose in life was to live for those he loved. My take on him.

–Damon was pretty humanity-full vampire until after Augustine when he turned off his humanity. But, five years of torture in the hands of humans would do that to a guy.

–The witches opinion on vampires were ridiculous. This species has been around for over a millennium, they are pretty assimilated in the magic ecosystem. I think their extinction would actually do more damage than their existence.

–Mikael and Esther deserved more pain.

–I think Dahlia only tried to negotiate with Klaus not only because he was Hope's father but because he was the only one who wasn't Mikael's son.

–Vampire/Supernatural politics are actually so interesting.

–Lexi was too hyped. And I don't get what she had against Damon in the forties.

–Legacies doesn't exist.

Hope runs into Lizzie and Josie's room with Josie as soon as they hear the high-pitched crying of a baby. "What's going on- oh my god" Josie froze under the door frame.

Hope's eyes widen, walking towards where Lizzie is holding a wailing baby girl, close to tears herself as she tries calming the baby down. "Where did you get a baby?" Hope asks the blonde.

"Okay, so don't freak out, but I was experimenting with a spell and..."

Five minutes prior

"What are you planning to do with that anyway?" You look up from your magazine. motioning to the papers splayed out with spell work in progress.

"I want to turn things back in time, like if someone knocks a glass of juice over, the spell reverses it," Lizzie grumbles, the spell not working for the fourth time. She cleans up the spilled water on the ground with a towel.

"Okayyy, fifth time's the charm" Lizzie mumbles before chanting the spell in a different order this time.

"Nothing happened, ughhh" Lizzie groans and throws her head back. Her head snaps back up as soon as she hears the tiniest little whimper coming from where you were lying down on her bed.

She looks over to the bed and lets out an audible gasp. A few seconds later, tears start to run down your small cheeks. She now has a de-aged vampire who so happens to also be her best friend.

"You turned my girlfriend into a baby?!" Hope exclaims, taking a closer look at you.

"Now, don't be mad" Lizzie winces at the look on Hope's face. "It was an accident."

"My vampire girlfriend is now a baby" Hope stated, eyes blazing.

Josie composes herself and walks over to her twin and best friend. "Okay, before anything worse happens, how about we calm her down" Josie nods at you, tears still rolling down your face.

"Don't you think I've been trying to do that? It's not working!" Lizzie tells them while giving a look and bouncing you in her arms.

"Give her over" Hope sighs. And Lizzie happily passes you into the tribrid's arms. As soon as you're rested against her chest, your

"You're a really cute baby, ya know?" Hope coos. You reach up your tiny hand and clutches onto a wave of her hair. She examines you as you play with her hair. You're so tiny and small, and so vulnerable.

She hugs you closer to her, not wanting you near any danger. Since this school is like a magnet for dangerous things.

You blabber incoherent things as you snuggle into the older girl's chest. You like her, she's warm and you feel safe around her.

Hope looks around the room and lands on the cd player on the dresser. You insisted on keeping the player after finding it in a box of old 'junk' Alaric was going to throw away. Plus you had a bunch of cds anyways. And you argue a lot with Lizzie that cds are a better form of music than on a phone, but then again you weren't a child when cds were being used, unlike all of them.

"Hey, you wanna listen to some music?" She asks animaticaly. You gurgle in excitement, and Hope takes that as a yes.

She walks over the wooden dresser and turns the power button then the play button. And in a couple seconds, the intro to 'oops I did it again' plays. That must have been the last cd and song you were listening to. Hope chuckles at how you always blast either this song or 'you give love a bad name' to get her out of bed in the morning.

You giggle and start kicking your legs excitedly, liking the music. Hope chuckles and kisses the top of your head. She then has an idea and starts carefully spinning and dancing around the room to the song with you held in her grasp.

Hope carries you down to the dining hall/room. It's been a couple hours and she's been getting hungry, and she could also tell you're hungry as well.

You hide your face in her chest when someone walks up to you two. "Hey MG" Hope smiles, cradling one of her hands on the back if your head.

"Hey. What's with the baby?" He asks, his eyebrows scrunched together in confusion. "Oh, uh, just babysitting, yeah...um, bye!" Hope comes up with a lie quickly before walking away, eyes widened. For being the one and only tribrid (vamp side not activated yet), she sure sucks at lying.

She walks over to the table of all the trays and places two plates on a tray. As she piles on food onto both the plates, she can feel eyes on her. So she quickly grabs utensils before walking as fast as she can with a baby and a tray of food up to your guys' room.

"Alright, food time" Hope sighs, sitting on the bed, against the headboard with the food in front of her. She grabbed lots of napkins, knowing there's going to be some kind of mess made.

"You look at the plates of food and clap your hands together before reaching towards the fruit cup on one of the plates.

Hope picks the fruit cup and a spoon up and starts to feed you. You munch on the strawberries, watermelon, and grapes happily. She watches as you eat the fruit, using her other hand to feed herself a piece of pizza as well.

Just as she lifted the spoon to feed you a grape, the door slammed open, presenting the twin siphoners. They quickly make their way inside, shutting the door behind them.

"We found a reversal spell" Josie tells hope and starts to explain what it intails.

"Okay, let's do it" Hope gently lifts you up off her lap and into the middle of the bed. You look up at her, confused, as she moves the food tray over to her desk.

She holds out her hands, inviting the two girls to siphon off her. They immediately grasp her hands and start to change the spell. Hope follows with after hearing the verse the first time.

In no time the spell took affect and where there used to be a baby you, is now a full grown vampire you. They all let out a simultaneous sigh of relief the spell worked.

"What the bloody hell happened?" You groan, standing up from the bed.

"Hah, so funny story..." Lizzie scratches the back of her neck.

How do you think the Mikaelsons would’ve dealt with covid - like would they have isolated or would they have thought that beneath them? etc.

Interesting question. They would all handle it so differently. This would be about two-ish years after the end of Season 4 so everyone would be separated.

Freya would be the most impacted by it. Not only is she mortal, but her girlfriend is a doctor. Keelin would be volunteering for every shift she could given her werewolf healing abilities. She would take it as a duty to save as many lives as she could since hers wouldn't be in jeopardy, unlike her follow doctors. But Freya wouldn't have that perk. Keelin would refuse to see Freya until the vaccine was created. She wouldn't risk brining home germs that could get Freya sick, especially since they didn't know the impact vampire blood would have on curing COVID.

Klaus would be the least impacted. He was already spiraling and wouldn't have let a silly thing like a pandemic stop him. He wouldn't even need to be worried about anyone in his family since they were all basically immune to human viruses. He would just assume Freya was fine. He would continue wrecking havoc on everyone he saw. He would be annoyed that everything was shut down and he had to actually go find his food the hard way.

Kol and Davina wouldn't mind. They would be bummed that they had to cancel all of their travel plans, but they would make the best of it. They had nearly lost each other so many times and would love to isolate together. They could finally, actually, get to know each other in a normal way since they didn't really know anything about the other before. Kol would begrudgingly wear a mask in public but often forget to cover his nose despite Davina constantly reminding him. He wouldn't let Davina out of the house in anything less than medical grade mask. He would be paranoid of losing her once again.

Rebekah and Marcel would also hunker down for most of the pandemic. Marcel would be concerned about New Orleans and how his city was coping, but other than that, they also would enjoy the peace. Rebekah and Marcel would play their part and wear masks in public, despite neither of them needing them. But Rebekah just wants to feel human and Marcel is happy to go along with it.

Hayley would be managing New Orleans and worried about Hope. But the Salvatore School would not shut down as most of their residence don't have anywhere to go and can't even get sick. Hayley would debate pulling Hope back home since travel was limited and she wouldn't want to be stuck away from her daughter for months. Hope would initially go back to New Orleans with Freya and Hayley but after a few months, she would miss her friends and return to school. Hayley would help the wolves who would struggle because a lot of their jobs closed. She would make sure they were taken care of. Hope and Hayley would also wear masks and Hayley would be very cautious to change her clothes as soon as she got home to make sure she didn't get Freya sick. Hayley would do all of their shopping to limit Freya's exposure, which would drive Freya mad, but she would appreciate the gesture.

Elijah would be in France with Antoinette. They would struggle since Antoinette doesn't use daylight rings and relies on hunting food at night. With everything closed, she would be limited in options. They would have to get creative on luring people out and would likely relocate to a bigger city where there were more options. The bar is so loud and hot, your ears ringing and a light sweat is coating your skin. It was all worth it though just getting to hear them play you'd wait hours in the cold or blaring hot to see them. Them being your favorite band Veil Of Shadows. You've been obsessed with them since you came across one of their songs on your Spotify. They were still a small band doing gigs at bars, but they were growing in popularity. If tonight's anything to go off of soon they'll be playing at bigger venues.

Though there's another reason you like Veil Of Shadows so much, and that was due to their lead singer Kol Mikaelson. Not only did he have an amazing voice he was drop dead gorgeous with an english accent, the complete package. You also know for a fact he’s amazing in bed, something you learned at his last gig.

That night has been in a constant loop in your head. It wasn't even just the sex, the two of you just had amazing chemistry. After his concert the two of you went to a nearby Taco Bell. It was around 2 am so it was deserted. The two of you talked for what seemed like forever about anything and everything. It's was one of the best conversations you ever had.

"Guess what your best friend just got for us?" your friend shouts into your ear. She's positively buzzing, jumping up and down.

"What?"

"Well I happen to know the bouncer and he said he can get us backstage for a measly ten bucks" her grip on your arm gets tighter. She had no idea about your night with Kol, honestly you're not sure if she'd believe you. "Come on," she leads you through the crowd. "The concerts about to end so we need to meet him before everyone starts swarming."

The bouncer leads you through the back, there's a few people already there. You start to get nervous as you hear the music start to fade. Would he recognize you or were you being delusional thinking he would remember you.

Your worries fade when he walks through, as soon as you make eye contact a smile covers his face. Your friend squeals when she sees him coming.

"Well hello Darling, I was hoping we would meet again. How Did you like the show?" Your friend immediately turns towards you, her eyes wide. You already know you are in for an interrogation from her later. For now though you need to focus on the handsome man in front of you.

"The show was amazing, but you guys are always good." he chuckled a smirk covering his face.

"I'm glad you liked it, did you like the heart I sent your way?", the heart he was talking about was just a hand heart he did toward the middle of his act. You couldn't believe that was for you.

The rest of the night Kol stuck by your side, and by the end of the night the two of you exchanged numbers. Before heading back to his place.

The next concert of his you'll be going not only as a fan but as his girlfriend.

I really want to finish it, it's just so damn hard. I swear, I take a break from studying and I open my laptop and the file, and I just sit and stare at it like a moron wondering what to write and what's going to happen while fully knowing what's going to happen because I am the one who is writing it.

I've been writing bits and pieces of it for years, and I've passed the 12k limit without actually publishing any of it, which sucks. Like I said, it's a HP au, with KC through the years. However, I am nearing the end of the bits and pieces stage (I think) so I'm going to start doing the middle parts now. I'm not going to be optimistic and set a schedule for myself, because there's no way I'll actually end up following it. *cackling*

HOWEVER, I will share an excerpt of a conversation between Enzo, Bonnie, and Caroline a few weeks ago. It's incomplete, but it's one of my favourite pieces that I loved writing.

“He’s a dick.”

Bonnie looks up, startled, while Enzo doesn't look up at all, furiously scribbling his charms essay instead. “Indeed.”

“What?” Bonnie hisses.

“He’s a dick,” Enzo says monotonously, not taking his eyes off his parchment, his eyes spitting fury at his quill.

“Who is?” Bonnie asks, completely lost.

“Just agree and move on so she’ll leave us alone and you can help me,” Enzo hisses, holding his quill between his teeth and scrambling for a new one.

Bonnie frowns. “She’s our friend.”

“We’ll be down a friend if Flitwick gives me detention because I will kill her, love, so don’t say anything to her, and tell me the wrist movement for brackium emendo, quick.”

“Who’s a dick, Care?” Bonnie asks Caroline loudly, shooting a dirty look at her boyfriend, who groans and collapses onto the common room floor. “Do you need me to hex him?”

“Did you have to?” Enzo whines, yelping when Caroline kicks his shin. Bonnie glares at him and turns back to Caroline.

“What happened? Who’s a dick?”

“Him,” Caroline growls out menacingly.

“Yes, I understand it’s a him,” Bonnie says patiently. “Who is him?”

Enzo sets down his quill and lets out a snarl. “Girlfriend and best friend as you both may be, I’d like to take this moment to remind the both of you that I am very well versed at the Langlock charm and I won't hesitate to use it on the pair of you if you don’t shut up.”

“Klaus Mikaelson,” Caroline growls out, something akin to danger in her eyes.

“Should’ve kept my mouth shut,” Bonnie mutters forlornly.

“Is that right?” Enzo snarls.

“I cannot believe that freaking asshat—” Caroline rants, completely ignoring Enzo as he curses and flips open his charms textbook.

“That pile of dragon dung—”

“Oh, bloody hell,” Enzo says irritably, letting out a curse when he can't locate his quill. “Bonnie, love, quick, give me a new quill.”

“He’s a disgusting, pompous, entitled asshole—”

“Care, what did he do?”

“BONNIE! QUILL!”

“It’s not what he did, it’s what he’s been doing for the past year,” Caroline complains.

“I NEED A BLOODY QUILL!”

“SHUT UP!”

Caroline swears and rummages in her bag and throws him a quill, which Enzo lunges for and dives for his parchment, resuming his furious scribbling.

“You're being such a bad best friend right now! You're supposed to make supportive noises and nod sympathetically while I rant, you ass.”

“Gorgeous, as much as I would absolutely love to listen to you prattle on about blokes, I have a charms essay to redo and a detention I hope to avoid. For fuck’s sake, please, either help me or talk to Bonnie.”

“You know, he asked me out two weeks ago,” Caroline huffs. “For the third time. And he made all these grand declarations of love and everything, that he fancied me and stuff—”

“Well,” Bonnie says unhelpfully, “he does.”

“I told him that if he wanted to date me, he was going to have to be more mature, and show me that he was worth it, and he said yes, and today, I find him hanging Jeremy Gilbert upside down by his socks because he stole Kol’s green scarf and turned it red today at breakfast. Him and his cronies, giggling while Klaus drawls at Jeremy—and when he saw me, he went all pale and stopped the spell and ran after me. Like he actually cares about me. As if, Klaus Mikaelson, screw you, with your I fancy yous and your stupid dimples. You can just give them all to your stupid girlfriend with the pretty red hair and her perfect skin and the annoying voice and the way she calls you baby—honestly, if you can't handle monogamy don’t promise it, you don’t have to lie—”

“How do you spell densuago?”

“Shut up, Enzo. Care, I know it was stupid of him but he’s always been a prick, right? Why are you so surprised—oh.”

“What?” Caroline snaps.

“Yes, what?” Enzo asks, now suddenly interested.

“You're not upset because of Jeremy,” Bonnie says slowly. “You're upset because he’s hanging out with Aurora De Martel. You're jealous.”

“I am not,” Caroline snarls, “jealous.”

“Well,” Enzo smirks. “This just got a whole lot more interesting.”

“Don’t you have a charms essay to finish?” Caroline snaps.

“Don’t you have Mikaelson’s dimples to moon about?” Enzo taunts, quickly casting a shield charm to block Caroline’s hex.

“Stop it,” Bonnie says hastily, casting a pitying look towards Caroline. “Care, I get it. It's not like I can't see the appeal. He’s smart, and he plays Quidditch, and he’s hot—”

“He is not hot.”

“I'm attracted to girls and taken and even I can see it,” Enzo says lazily, cackling when Caroline's second hex is blocked by the shield charm.

“There’s nothing to be jealous of because I don’t like him! He’s a smug jerk—”

“Who fancies you,” Enzo pipes up, unable to stop himself from butting into the conversation he’d wanted to avoid.

Caroline shoots him a filthy look. “I hope Flitwick makes you clean the bed pans in the hospital wing for your detention, fuckwad.”

“I hope Mikaelson snogs every girl within a five kilometre radius, Gorgeous,” Enzo retorts.

Bonnie sighs, rubs her temples.
