Hong Kong Day 6 - Transformers The Ark

Day 6 was our last day in Hong Kong. Thanks for following our journey so far. After checking out at 11am, we parked our luggage with the hotel, it's complimentary. Then we walked to Transformers The Ark, it's a restaurant opposite Times Square Hong Kong. While walking there, we passed by the famous Da Siu Yan (beat petty people) bridge too, I didn't dare to shoot video there as there were many things that look like religion related. But if you have someone you wanna beat their soul, go there, it's near Times Square under the bridge.

Transformers The Ark is surprisingly great! Food AND DRINKS are great, service is Excellent! Upstairs really feels like you're in The Ark, Autobot's Ship. Bose speakers are used, feels like cinema. Every 15 minutes the ship will be attacked by Decepticons. The kids love it. We ordered the special set with Burger and Pizza. More than enough food. Yummy!

After that, we walked Times Square a little before we head back to hotel. Then straight away to airport via taxi. Cost was around HKD 350. Pricey but hassle free and fast. Especially with kids.

After checking in, we went to Plaza Premium Lounge near Gate 1. There are 4 Plaza Premium Lounges there. Kids below 3 are free while 3 and above are chargeable. Two of my cards worked while Zac had a complimentary kid's entry as my wife just registered for Smart Traveller App from  @PlazaPremiumLoungeTV   @plazapremiumgroup8563 . It's an app that allow us to collect points every time we enter the lounge. Used to be known as Arrture. Use code K3PT84 when you register. (Help me get some points so  @BabyAsherMak  can go in too, he's turning 3 soon).

We met a new friend from Ukraine too. He was seated beside  @BabyZacToys  He told us his travels and experiences.

For new years eve I traveled to Hong Kong for the first time. I felt in love with the city, it's so rough/modern.

But sadly, the Hong Kong I dreamed to see kind of doesn't exist anymore. HK is going through removing all the Neon Signs, this has been happening for many years, I missed my chance early on, due to covid.

I still think HK is beautiful and there's a lot to it, I did get sick and spent half of my holidays in bed.

Maybe I'll travel again this year.

Hong Kong Day 4 - Hong Kong City

Day 4 was finally our truly free and easy time in Hong Kong, in preparation for Day 5, Ocean Park!!!

On Day 4, we woke up quite late, had a simple and light breakfast at our hotel. Then we went to meet my good friend Deborah Woo ( https://www.instagram.com/modern.wooman ) at Nanhai No. 2 at World Trade Center, a really beautiful dim sum, yum cha, place over looking the sea view of Victoria Harbor. Food was delicious and atmosphere was amazing. Thank you Deborah!

Then Deborah also took us to buy our very much sought after Yuen Long Wife Cakes! After that we returned to our hotel and Abby wanted some personal sight seeing and shopping time, so I took care of the kids while she went out. Auntie Jamie came over to our hotel too. We watched Frozen 2 on Disney Plus then rested a little.

Evening Auntie Jamie walked us to have dinner with Uncle Kazu and her at Lei King Restaurant in Wan Chai. They serve some of the most delicious very local Hong Kong food in the area. We had lots of good food!

Then Jamie took us to the seaside over looking Tsim Sha Tsui. It was a relaxing and beautiful walk. Our kids had fun doing their own parkour and made some friends.
