you were just a simple employee at a cat adoption center. for most people it would be a dream, getting paid to take care of kitties? hell yeah. it was yours for a long time, but now..

"satoru, suguru. how many times have i told you both to not go outside?"

the white and black cats stared at you sheepishly, caught red handed trying to leave the shop. you had closed the shop, which meant no going out now. they both were the troublesome duo, always causing chaos. satoru tried to appease you by rubbing his head in your leg which made you crouch down and pat his head. this action however irked suguru, causing him to meow angrily at the white cat and jump to your arms

"oh hush, stop being so possessive suguru. satoru deserves love too, everyone deserves love here," you paused then took them both in your lap "well everyone except sukuna, thats why hes in the cage."

at your words the unusually colored red cat hissed angrily, giving you a stink eye. can cats even make such expressions? you honestly dont know. maybe the lack of sleep is getting to you. satoru and suguru simultaneously looked at him haughtily, flexing to not be stuck in the cage, rather in your arms

"everyone should be like kento here, hes such a good cat. isnt that right ken?"

you left the black and white cats to check kento— whom you affectionately call ken, sitting in his cat couch unbothered. you in fact have nicknames for every cats here but only call them that when theyre not being naughty. which means you call kento 'ken' all the time, much to the annoyance (and jealousy) of other cats

satoru and suguru's faces fell at the sight of you leaving them, giving a whining mewl. sukuna smirked at their frowny faces. 'heh.. karma' he thought in cat language

you took kento in your arms and gave him rubs. "youre such a good boy ken, arent you? yes you are, yes you are!— the goodest boy,"

kento preened at your words and huddled closer to your arms. hes always on his best behavior to get this treatment. he looked down on satoru and suguru, giving them a look of superiority

you were now walking around with kento in your arms, you already closed the shop so you just gotta leave for home. suddenly you remembered about the other cat, choso. whom you haven't seen in quite some moments

"shit!" you hastily put kento down much to his dismay "have any of you seen choso??""

sometimes you thought you were going crazy. here you were asking them questions as if they could answer. maybe you should quit and start therapy

but thats a problem for later! now you had a cat to find. in a hurry you accidentally stepped on something.. soft. which was chosos tail, he hissed in pain from his position under the chair where he was sleeping

at this satoru, suguru, sukuna laughed. even kento let out a quiet snort. in cat language of course. they already knew where choso was, opting to stay quiet instead.

"im so so sorry cho!!" you held the brown cat face to face with you, "forgive me?"

the brown cat pouted at you before finally accepting your apology with a quiet meow. you smiled happily and peppered his face with kisses. choso was now a happy cat. the others? well not so

sukuna, sick of you giving all these stray cats (deregatory) affection meowed loudly to get your attention. he then did something he absolutely hated but since he was desperate... he gave you kitty eyes (cat version of puppy eyes) you stared at him for some time before sighing heavily

"yeah yeah, im gonna get you out now. maybe don't scare away customers anymore?" you rolled you eyes but took out the keys to unlock his cage, he knew this method would work. "but who am i telling this, you still gonna do that no?"

sukuna just stared at you innocently, tilting his head. you scoffed but took him in your arms at the same time. you looked down at the four other felines who were at your feet, eager to be picked up. they were truly spoiled. weird thing is, they only ever acted this clingy and affectionate towards you, not other people or even their owner, mr. gege (they hated him for some reason, especially satoru). you stared at their hopeful blinking eyes and sighed again

"okay okay, you all can come to stay at my home tonight."

they all cheered. you once again thought you were mad to think cats can cheer. but oh well.

Can we get bratty!mean!reader with simp/lover boy yuuta or yuuji? Like, reader is always rolling her eyes or ordering him around and he just looks at her with heart yes and does as she wants. But obviously, everyone has their limits so sometimes they need to reel her back in and let her know that's nothing you treat someone that you love and loves you even more.

Sypnosis - How would !Loverboy Yuuji fare with a girlfriend who quite literally would step on him?

A/N - !Loverboy Yuuji enjoyers rise up, I crafted this just for y'all.

! PIECE BEGINS UNDERNEATH THE CUT !

To be fair, when Yuuji falls in love, he falls in love hard. Loving Yuuji is the equivalent of adopting a golden retriever that will be perpetually stuck to your side in any given circumstance. And that means any circumstance — including if you’re working to exorcise a spirit. Yuuji just wants — or rather needs — to be by your side no matter what.  

Yuuji is also the kind of person to blindly follow orders. He doesn’t really have any regards for any consequences that may follow his actions — which has definitely resulted in multiple visits to Shoko. That, of course, includes any and all orders that you give him.  

Obviously, your “orders” aren’t as dire as, say, instructions given by Gojo before he sends Yuuji on a mission. But that doesn’t mean that he’ll show even an ounce of thought or hesitance. He does — quite literally — anything and everything for you. That includes carrying your backpack, carrying your bags when you shop, cutting your food when you have dinner together, tucking you in when you have move nights, buttoning you jacket when it’s cold outside, literally everything. 

Does he care that sometimes your tone gets a little snippy with him when you ask him to do something for you? No. Does he care that you scold him if he does something wrong? No. Does he care that you roll your eyes at him when you catch him staring? No.  

Because at the end of the day, you mean more to Yuuji than anything else. He can handle Cursed Spirits that can — and honestly have — ripped him limb from limb. Surely he can handle a bit of eye-rolling from his beautiful girlfriend. 

Megumi and Nobara can’t help but tease Yuuji for his behaviors, Nobara more so than Megumi. She just enjoys pointing out the fact that you could tell Yuuji to jump and he would reply back with, “How high?” 

But that doesn’t mean that they don’t see the small points of toxicity that peek through your actions. Sure, it was sweet that Yuuji would be willing to do anything and everything for you — but it felt like the things that Yuuji was doing went unreciprocated. 

It was Nobara then that approached you because, in all honesty, Yuuji was one of her closest friends. And she would be damned if she was going to stand by and just watch as he was treated like someone’s lap dog. Don’t get her wrong, she loves and adores you too, but she can see where people’s toxic traits lie.  

She ends up pulling you aside following one of your training sessions together, noticing in her peripheral the way that Yuuji pauses upon seeing you be dragged away by Nobara. You don’t protest to her actions, allowing your classmate to drag you underneath the school’s entry archway. Nobara keeps her fingers locked around your wrist as she inhales deeply, not wanting her emotions to accidentally get the better of her — the last thing that she needed was for you to get cross with her. You were deadly in that regard after all. 

“(Y/N), listen to me, yeah? You’re an amazing person, and I know that you likely don’t mean to come off as brash or as harsh as you sometimes do, but we all notice. And by ‘we all’, I mean me and Fushiguro. Yuuji is — for lack of a better word — devoted to you, he loves you a whole lot ‘kay? Again, I know that you don’t mean to be rude to him sometimes, but that’s what we all see. So try and lay off of the eye rolling, yeah?” 

Nobara smiles once she’s finished speaking, releasing the grip that she had on your wrist and placing both of her hands on her hips. You stand there in silence for a moment, mulling her words over in your head before reflecting on all that you had ever said and done to Yuuji. 

You realize at that moment that Nobara was right — Yuuji had only ever been kind and loving to you. And you were just…bitchy right back. You felt like slapping yourself across the face, how could you have let that behavior go on for so long?  

“God — you’re right Nobara. I’ve been — I’ve been pretty terrible haven’t I?” 

After that conversation with Nobara, you begin to plan in your head how to make it up to Yuuji — starting with his favorite snacks and movie series. Your dorm is suddenly nothing but blankets and pillow forts, adorned with the string lights that you usually kept your room decorated with. On the television is the selection screen for the Deluxe Edition of the Human Earthworm movies — which you knew were Yuuji’s absolute favorite.  

Once you finished setting everything up, you text Yuuji to swing by your dorm — which he agrees to without hesitation. Within five minutes of sending the text, Yuuji is knocking repeatedly at the door, smiling widely when you pull it open. You invite him inside, placing your palms over his eyes and repeating that you had a surprise for him.  

You lead him to the pillow/blanket fort set up in front of the small television in your dormitory, guiding him to sit down. You take a seat beside him, removing your hands from his eyes and presenting your little movie setup with a grand flourish of your hands.  

“You did all of this for me?”  

“Yeah — think of it as an apology for me being so demanding of you all the time.” 

Yuuji turns to you, wrapping his arms around you and tugging you firmly to his chest, tucking you into him and burying his nose into your hair. You nestle yourself in his embrace, wrapping your arms around his neck and smiling to yourself as he holds you.  

After a good five minutes of sitting in Yuuji’s arms, you disconnect yourself to play the first Human Earthworm movie, smiling as Yuuji excitedly begins to ramble. 

With a lovesick smile of your own, you settle in with your boyfriend, nibbling on your snacks and simply enjoying his company.

Like first off, im not isolated immediately that brings me up by like 45% like i can go see that forest, hang out with the (hopefully not going to bite me or give me rabies) animals pet some squirrels say hi to the hummingbirds, i can go into public and walk around, id honestly probably start skipping bc thats what ive imagined so far considering i wouldnt be as depressed as i am now

Secondly, FULL customization of what i wear just be able to look how i want without fear, probably wear my denim look but with some extra like, an ACTUAL denim skirt that looks nice, maybe makeup if i was feeling up to it

Thirdly, just exploration. This is pretty much the miscellaneous second of this post. Because theres probably no money (i assume i need to do more research) before i get to that i fuckin love research i would know every fuckin affini custom by year 5, anyway because of presumeably no money, fake shop at the mall bc hell yeah fuckin love the mall its like a mini city, youd go in like you were going to the mall and like fake "check out" with like a fake credit card or something and yahh fun but also id just like go get coffee, possibly some matcha, skip around town wearing heels WITH my denim outfit, looking all fuckin cute, go see the plants (not affini like houseplants like mint) fuck id grow some bleeding hearts, some mint, make sure to pick up plant food, bc even tho i CAN do it in the hab unit, its more fun leaving to pick stuff up, it gives you a sense of accomplishment like "yahhhh i did something today 🥰 (its a crime theres no 'fist pump' emoji, i swear there are more useless emojis than practical ones)" and because i wouldnt be in one location for 6+ hours a day (excluding sleep) i would have time to do things that i WANNA do, like finish that pokemon book that im only on kakuna out of pecharunt. And i could drink my coffee/tea and go to the game store and play magic with peoples or pokemon, i could go play some dnd, write my damn books, skip around in heels bc skipping is happy but i wanna wear heels soo yahhhh

Time: Major sweet tooth, he loves sweet treats so much akskdkkd. He can handle a BIT of spice (like on a scale of 1-10 he’d tap out at 4). He’s also lactose intolerant and vegetarian, but honestly he rarely lets the lactose intolerant thing stop him. Malon is more likely to prevent him from eating something he probably shouldn’t than he is 😭 His favorite food would probably be like soup and a nice grilled cheese sandwich

Warriors: More of a savory guy, but he loves his fruity drinks and the occasional chocolates. He has a SHOCKINGLY high spice tolerance (like a 9 on a 1-10 scale), but he doesn’t often eat spicy foods. He has a pretty strict diet planned out to make sure he’s actually getting enough to keep himself healthy and running because he dances and exercises so much, so it’s not that he’s picky he’s just very specific about what he eats. He’s trying to ignore the gluten sensitivity and as the years go by it’s just. becoming ridiculously hard to do so, but he’s stopped eating AS many things with gluten in them as he used to. He’ll make somewhat of an attempt to avoid it. And his favorite food is oranges :)

Twilight: Like father like son, he loves his treats. He can handle a HELL of a lot more spice than Time tho, like a 8.5 on a 1-10 scale. He will eat literally anything you put in front of him, he’s always hungry like if theres food, he’ll eat it. His favorite food is a rice dish that Malon makes

Sky: Definitely a sweets guy, he loves his emotional support chocolate. Highest spice tolerance out of everyone, he fucking loves spicy food. He works in a coffee shop and he probably tried one of the drinks with almond milk and decided he didn’t hate it and will now sometimes use that. He’s not super picky, but he’s also the guy cooking, so he’ll eat anything because HES making it allskddl. His favorite food is a chicken and rice dish his adoptive parents made for him that he really loves

Hyrule: Sweet toothhhhhhhhh, oh my god he loves sugar. Spice would kill him immediately i fear, like a victorian boy experiencing a spicy cheeto. Not super picky, but WILL take tomatoes and onions off his burgers. He loves berries so so much, he snacks on em a lot

Legend: He prefers sweets but will deny that, he does also like savory things but he PREFERS sweets. Says he has a super high spice tolerance but this is a lie, he’ll get red in the face and be coughing saying he’s totally fine with the spice level. He definitely gets oat milk instead for his drinks he makes himself because he thinks it tastes better. Has a lot of sensory issues with food so there are a lot of things he simply can’t eat, like anything overly soft and mushy or soupy feeling, but besides that he’ll eat ANYTHING. He loves apple pie, that’s his favorite :)

Wild: Has eaten toxic things and survived. Nothing affects him. No one knows if he even LIKES eating, he just eats anything and everything he doesn’t really seem to have favorites or preferences, and Sky and Legend (who work at the coffee shop together) dont even know if the guy likes drinks because he orders a mug of ice water “for here” every time 😭 (he does really really like Sky’s favorite rice and chicken dish when Sky makes it and lets Wild come over and have some, and also strawberry smoothies!!)

Four: More of a savory guy, but he does enjoy sweet treats too. His spice tolerance is like. a 5/10 it’s incredibly average. Unfortunately for him his cooking friends love spice and he’s always dying just a little when he eats their food but it’s fine 😭 He’s not super picky but there are things he despises, like olives. His favorite food is his grandpa’s grilled chicken and he loves snacking on cashews

Wind: He LIVES on sugar, and also has a pretty high spice tolerance, like 9/10. He’s the guy complaining the “spicy” item on the menu Isn’t (outside of the restaurant ofc, in the car ride back home). He has a nut allergy so he’s gotta be careful about that, but otherwise he really will eat anything. His favorite food is his grandma’s stew :)

then reader binges a lot. on books, series, documentaries, anything that keeps them away from being loneliness. i love crime and history oh hell yes. usually watch them war docus haha. then the crime ones are addicting. or for fun, id watch cooking shows, thanks to that habit, im a pro chef (lol) im an ambivert, thus, yes i can socialise. i had my housemate come with me shopping. she's a pilot so she's rarely home. she followed me to the mall, nearby cafe's, some local shops and i was saying high to all the shopkeepers. she was like, "you know everyone?" "yep, get pretty lonely :D" yea..i could imagine Simon just watching in confusion haha. i have..adopted 2 cats to keep me entertained...sorry Simon :D

Honestly, it's pretty much the same for me. I'm big on collecting things too, mostly books and jewellery and the occasional kitschy antique I stumble upon at my local thrift. I also sleep a lot (but always at weird times) because my brain keeps me up at night whirring about the most random nonsensical things.

I like to think that Simon sort of takes charge of he and nerdy!readers relationship when they're working on a big research project because they just entirely forget how to function. I'm talking hoisting them over his shoulder to get to bed, plugging in their laptop so it's fully charged in the morning. He asks them questions about their interests just so that he gets the opportunity to shove a granola bar or some berries into their open mouth, otherwise they'll get so focussed they forget to eat. He'll drag them to the gym or on a walk with him just so that they can get some fresh air and exercise, because sitting at a desk for all hours of the day for weeks isn't healthy, despite how much they try and convince him it is.

Honestly? I also think that Simon would be super pro his partner getting a pet. He's down to do basically anything that will give them a break from freaking out over their studies, and he'd really like them to have some company when he's away on deployment, so at least if they don't leave the house, they won't be entirely alone.

sooo uuuh @merddynaladar and @magicmetslogic said they wanted to know what i've come up with so far with my tales of vesperia ghost trick au... honestly i dont think i'll turn it into a fic but it was sorta fun coming up with all these ideas soooo... here they are!!

The setting is in the late 2000s, in Pornic, which is a coastal town in France. Yuri is a café owner while Flynn is a young police commissioner/police school student. Both of them are childhood friends and see each other as family (since none of them have surviving family members).

As Yuri is closing shop at night, he gets mysteriously assassinated in his own café by a hitman and... wakes up as a ghost, as he sees his killer holding an unknown pink-haired girl at gunpoint.

Another ghost(?) named Judith appears and explains to Yuri that while he is dead, he gained powers that he can use to save the girl from meeting the same fate, as well as learn the truth behind his death; however, he will only have one night before he disappears. After he saves her, the girl introduces herself as Estelle and tells Yuri that she is a friend of Flynn's, and that something has seemingly happened to their common friend.

I don't have 100% of the details about what happens next, but here is a brief summary of the main events of each chapter.

Chapter 2: Very similar to GT's actual chapter two, Yuri goes to check on his adopted brother Karol, and finds him and Repede in trouble. He asks Repede to look after Karol, and returns to Estelle.

Chapter 3: Estelle is somehow suspected of Yuri's murder and decides to make a run for it (since Yuri only has tonight and stuff)

Chapter 4: Rita, Estelle's roommate, gets reluctantly involved in this mess. The girls (and Yuri) decide to look for clues at Flynn's place. On the way, they go through a construction site to avoid suspicious people (like the one who killed Yuri) and with Yuri's help, manage to survive weirdly disfunctioning electronical equipment.

Chapter 5: We learn that Estelle met Flynn through her mother. Estelle's mother, recently deceased, was a scientist, and she was apparently working on a secret project with Flynn. We are also introduced to Raven, a shady police officer who offers information about a case Flynn was working on before his disappearance: the case of the manipulator, someone who is able to manipulate others and uses those powers to commit crimes. Also Rita dies in this chapter (so Yuri can save her and they can actually talk without having to go through Estelle lol)

Chapter 6: Through a bracelet that Estelle's mother gave her, Rita learns about a mysterious meteorite called Brave Vesperia, and that Flynn is linked to it somehow. Meanwhile, Raven tells the group about Alexei, a powerful government official who could be behind Yuri's death and Flynn's disappearance. Judith warns Yuri that Raven is not to be trusted.

Chapter 7: In this chapter, Repede returns as a ghost to help the group. Moreover, Rita figures out that the thing Estelle's mother studied were ghost powers like the ones Yuri has; only her subject was Flynn, who was apparently able to manipulate people and objects. This description sounds awfully like the criminal discribed by Raven, which comes as a huge shock to Yuri and Estelle.

Chapter 8: Raven betrays the group and gets Estelle's bracelet to Alexei. However, Alexei manages to also capture Rita who seemed to understand the secrets of the meteorite better than his own men. Raven, who did not intend to get a 15 year old girl kidnapped, decides to help the group by telling them the truth: Alexei was the bad guy and he manipulated Flynn into a deal. Using this deal, he turned Raven into a ghost and made him the manipulator. Alexei is now escaping with Flynn and Rita in a submarine, and Raven manages to send Yuri, Estelle and Repede there.

Chapter 9: Alexei escapes and this becomes very similar to the og game: Yuri and Repede have to help Estelle carry an unconscious Rita to safety while in a sinking submarine. They are eventually saved by Flynn!

Chapter 10: This is my favourite part haha. Yuri, Flynn and Estelle have a heart to heart. Yuri especially confronts Flynn on all the secrets he kept (he literally died and became a ghost and hid it from him for like, an entire year).

Wait, what's going on? Basically, Flynn died about a year ago in an incident that left him with a meteorite stuck inside his body, turning him into a ghost. His body is now invulnerable but also he's dead. He possesses his own corpse and finds Estelle's mother who studies him and tries to free him from his condition. After she dies, Alexei is charged with taking her research for the government. He finds out about the powers of the dead and Flynn and he erases the info about Flynn but stuff about the meteorite soon becomes known all around the world. Alexei then strikes a deal with Flynn, telling him he will try to finish Estelle's mother work if Flynn helps him catch criminals and stuff. Alexei's goal, however, is to steal the fragment of meteorite inside Flynn's body. Flynn agrees (Alexei doesn't make him do anything too bad anyways or he wouldnt have accepted). During one of Flynn's missions, Alexei kills Raven close to Flynn's body (and the meteorite) and witnesses for himself Raven becoming a ghost. His plan for this night was to convince Flynn to leave the country immediately because governments had learned of his existence through a submarine. The plan was to drop Flynn's "soul" in the abyssal plains where there were no cores he could possess to escape and run away with his body (and the meteorite).

Chapter 10 (part 2): So yeah they explain what's going on and they realize that Estelle and Rita are going to die and maybe Estelle manages to get the boys to say some touching last words or something... And then Rita wakes up and comes up with a way for the ghosts to escape and get help through a torpedo.

Chapter 11: As they escape, Flynn, Yuri and Repede find Flynn's dead body, without the meteorite that was stolen by Alexei. They realize that now that Flynn's body is not constantly going between life and death, Yuri and Repede can reverse his death and alter the timeline... Which they do :D Also Judith reveals she was like, the spirit of Brave Vesperia or something

Chapter 12: Epilogue!!! Yn stares at jay noticing hie out of it he was. She doesn’t say anything. She just packs her things and makes her way to the library where she said she’d meet him at.

5 minutes go by and jay still wasn’t there so decided she’d start on her homework from history.

Another 5 minutes go by and jay still wasn’t in the library. Yn sighs and decided she’d give Jay until she runs to the vending machine to get to the library.

Coming back from from the vending machine he still wasn’t there. She sighs and starts packing her things but stops when she hears the door open and it walks jay on his phone

“Your 15 minutes later” Yn says sighing

“Yeah I know” he says waving her off taking a seat across from her

“Okay…what do you wanna do first?” She asks

“Uhh English ” he says pulling out his history book

“Uh jay?” Yn says

“What Yn?”

“That’s your history book” she says making him look away from his phone.

After two minutes jay still wasn’t back but his phone was ringing nonstop. Usually she wouldn’t even look at anyone’s phone but hers but the device had him distracted and she wanted to know why.

Was it his sister? His friends? Wait he didn’t have any friends. Was it his parents? Was it a girl? Why’d she care?

She peaks over at the screen and it seem to be an on going conversation or maybe even an argument with his parents. She didn’t see all the messages but she definitely seen the words ‘brat’ and ‘ungrateful’

She makes an O shape with her mouth. He really didn’t have a good relationship with his parents. She felt bad. He still wasn’t back so she decided to go see if he was okay

She peeks out the door to see jay leaning against a wall with his face in his hands

“Jay? You okay?” Yn asks going over to him

He doesn’t say anything but he made a noise which sounded like a sob?

“Jay? What’s wrong?” Yn asks grabbing at his wrist only for him to push her back

“Got damn leave me the fuck alone yn!” He says scaring her. Her red and black ears drop down in sadness and confusion

“I-I seen your phone, I just want to know if your okay?” She says making jay groan and wipe his face

“Your such a nosey bitch! Just leave me the hell alone” jay says shocking Yn.

He takes a look at her shock face and immediately regrets everything

“Yn- I didn’t mean it im sorry” he says reaching out for her. She shakes her head slapping his hands away

“I may have been wrong for looking at your phone but it was all out of concern for you. You didn’t have to push me or call me a bitch” Yn says, brown skin feeling really hot from how angry she was

Staff doesn't care about Terras anymore and I think they should hand over total ownership (Admins, mods and all) to people who actually care. I love Terras and don't want to see them die off, but it feels inevitable now.

honestly im tired of them playing hot potato with this project, it fails under any ownership its given and any passion that was once put in (arguably an incredibly small amount since its obvious this was a cashgrab from day 1) is completely wiped away

there are much better species and worlds to put your time and money into. what does terras offer?

a lazy staff team that is so focused on entirely separate projects that they cant even shit out a halloween event, and that gave so little of a fuck that they waited a full month after the birthday event was over to even raffle the designs, and that was seemingly held together by one staff member so much so that when that member left the team, the server had rule violations sitting for days at a time

a site that, despite having almost nothing added in the way of extensions, runs like shit because staff doesnt want to abide by recommended image sizes and overloaded the whole thing with enormously heavy images, to the point that now even after the images have been compressed oh so slightly, the site still runs like shit

a site that will never have any interesting changes or additions made (even the most simple) because staff is so incompetent with their own tools they fundamentally do not understand how lorekeeper works. this wouldnt be so much of an issue if they would hire someone experienced in lk (their site coder has said they have no idea how lk works and theyve never used it), or take on volunteers to add the most basic functionality, but they wont do that because they are again, so incompetent that they think a volunteer could just delete the whole site which is fundamentally impossible unless you give them your fucking admin login

no lore MINIMAL lore about, of all things, a stupid new subtype that nobody wanted. no publicly available lore about terra planet, society, anatomy, physiology, or even why these stupid things have fishbowls on their heads. if you want even a scrap of information, you have to scrounge through months upon months of messages in staff-answer, or play a stupid ass ARG

an abysmal design approval process. you will have your design denied for trait restrictions that are listed nowhere, and that staff let pass with their friends 2 days ago. if you ever try to bring up any terra on the ml as an example that they have approved the same design aspect before, you will ALWAYS be knocked dowm with “that design was approved before we updated the guides/it slipped through the cracks” even when the design isnt even a week old

no MYO slot sales, no fun opportunities for community interaction, fucking hell not even any events anymore because staff dont give enough of a fuck to slap something together for the month of october.

lazy adopts thrown together for a quick buck to the point they will have scribbly lineart, color spilling out, and unclear design aspects that they will shit out and sell to you for $90+.

newly released species these days all think its acceptable to drop with just a concept and an empty lorekeeper and call it a day. i think everyone who participates in closed species needs to collectively come together and raise the standards that were set by the mother of all cashgrabs: chams. we need to stop enabling the species owners who give NOTHING to the project, the ones who release with no lore, shops, or trait sheets. i think we all should take our money to more fulfilling creators (in my experience, smaller species projects are typically so much more fleshed out than popular new ones hitting the market, but they often lack the publicity to flourish) and stop sinking money and so much time into people who dont put in any effort, and who dont WANT to put in any effort because they have no passion for the project outside of a paycheck.

Dear diary,

I decided to venture out and spent some time browsing in one of my favorite shops.

I almost got some drawing books but figured it was better to wait then do so besides I already have a drawing book and can always google references for drawing material ideas or at least that's why I am postponing buying them~

I also saw some adorable plushies/stuffies,

I dont know why I like the miniature ones so much, they just make me melt from the cuteness although practically they would be decorative pieces for shelves as too little to properly squeeze with a hug or cuddle with~

Due to that reasoning I avoided buying them although I was tempted especially by a s'more shaped one. I then took my time walking down to one of the cafes. It's really quite nice out despite the chilly air and cloudy skies that show it will eventually rain again. ~

It must be an unoffical day to take your girlfriend or boyfriend out on a date, saw a lot of adorable couples and some groups of girls having a girls day out shopping etc. Sometimes I wish I could join in but it's not like you can stumble over some exchanged compliments and become insta besties or part of the group~

I'd like to have an affectionate guy walk with me, hold my hand, kiss my forehead and there was a couple that were sitting on a swing the girl had her head in his lap and he just played with her hair while they laughed over some intimate conversation~

I almost photographed them because it was so beautiful but thought it'd be rude to try too and am no professional so instead I photographed a beautiful tabby cat with emerald eyes and grumpy looking expression on his face~

The pastries in the cafe were gorgeous so photographed them as well. I am going to have to be extra strict with my diet tomo and the next few weeks to make up for weakness of getting a pastry, I couldn't get the two I wanted most because paying 8 for a mini circle of cheesecake no matter how decadent looking is too expensive~ the other was an ornate cupcake that was too beautiful to image ruining by eating so I settled for the very reasonable cheap priced cinnamon roll and their specialty latte of the month~

I probably ruined whatever attractiveness I had by eating that but oh well, sometimes you just have to do stuff to make you feel happy even if it's only temporary~

Besides I am going to make sure I am very strict with my calories over the next few days combined with workouts should get me in the range I want to be in~

I am attracted to men, but at this point I'd welcome affection from another girl too~

Side effects of being a shy loner... I thought if I could become pretty enough this stuff would be easier, people would want to be friends and getting a boyfriend would be easier too because all the pretty popular girls have it easy when it comes to people wanting to talk, be around them or be friends.~

Maybe I am romanticizing ideals too much this is the real world after all~

I could adopt a pet maybe if I move to place where pets are allowed. But would having an cute fluffy companion solve anything? Its responsiblity, totally dependent on you to care for it, and honestly I want to be cared for once. I always clean up after other people and help when needed because I believe that's what you are supposed too...~

I am both lucky and unlucky that my work allows me to do it by myself no groups or team projects yay! No awkward talking and can focus on tasks but at the same time no chance to make a friend with someone whose a coworker~

Back To School Shopping List for A College Freshman Art Student

Hi guys I went to RISD a few years back but I do remember looking up this question. if you're not going to college just yet but are interested in art, it could be super useful to get comfortable using the tools/mediums below. even though i know most teachers give a materials list the first day, i needed to be prepared way ahead of time because of my anxiety. in my case, i was told id get a list in person, but walking in with an empty bag just felt wrong to me lol??? i ended up bringing a couple things, but missed a few vital essentials so here's a list of everything that i can think of. read to the end for my wagon epiphany that i think all art students should adopt (if they havent already)

-a notebook or planner (lined). some professors will hit you with extremely important info right away and wont always tell you to write down what they're saying but 90% of the time its important stuff you dont wanna miss

-a sketchbook. this can help if they throw a quick exercise at you and you have to write/draw something quickly. i blanked and didnt bring a sketchbook from home (because i was told id need to get certain types according to the teacher's specifications) but looking back idk why i didnt?? first days are hectic. actually the first week lol. anyways there were single sheets offered but honestly having your own right off the bat helps for organizational purposes, saves time, and IF YOU'RE LIKE ME, prevents the need to get up in front of everyone

-writing utensils. I'd recommend a nice pen and a set of drawing pencils (doesn't have to be anything crazy cause your teacher will most likely request that you buy more advanced/specific tools later on)

-headphones. every teacher is different, but usually art students will be given little tasks to work on during their first day in class at college. I was not clever enough to remember to pack my headphones, and the silence in a room full of focused art students can be especially unnerving when you're nervous. Hearing a student's questionable music taste can be equally unnerving, so make sure to pack those.

-snacks/drinks. this is kind of a branch off of the last one, cause again it can get sooooo quiet in these classrooms/studios. Pack snacks to prevent belly grumbles. I have heard it happen to many people in my classes and i am a victim as well. stay ready

-sunglasses. seems trivial but super important because you'll probably be walking around outside a lot your first day. this is the typical college commute, up down and around the streets.

-MONEY. I AM GOING TO PUT THIS IN ALL CAPS BECAUSE THIS WAS BY FAR MY BIGGEST MISTAKE LOL. UNFORTUNATELY, STAY STRAPPED WITH CASH OR CARD BCUZ! SOME OF THOSE ART SCHOOL PROFESSORS ARE A LIL BOUJEE AND WILL SEND U RIGHT TO THE CAMPUS ART STORE DAY ONE. It was very overwhelming for me, and some might think its common sense but idk my entire school career you always get some time after school to buy that stuff. they really sent us shopping ten minutes into class so be aware or look broke like i did.

Other than that, all the stuff you'll have to potentially purchase that day will be specified by the teacher. If you're worried about getting the wrong thing, don't be. The students get to go together and the teacher gives very specific details about the products to buy, which the campus store workers are well aware of. Off the top of my head, i remember being sent to get materials for a few different classes throughout the day. I'll list them here without the brand specifics (1. cause i dont know and 2. cause it may not match what your teacher will want anyway) just to give you a general idea.

-large ruler, metal, 1 yard (3 ft)

-clear plastic t-shaped ruler for drawing

-sketchbooks, drawing pads (of all sizes)

-a large portfolio (looks like a gigantic black totebag for big art papers)

-sewing kit

-string

-muslin fabric

-ink pens

-drawing pencils, different sizes

-drawing charcoal

-white paper drawing blender, a good eraser

-a toolbox for the drawing materials

-gouache paint

-brushes, pallets

-oil paint crayons

-a tool box

-ink pens like harry potter

That's pretty much it. If you'd like to grab some of these things before hand it should be fine, but for the most part id stick to waiting just to be safe.

Also a side note: I was a commuter so i could run home and grab my materials collected over my entire life but not every student is this lucky and some of their homes are thousands of miles away. if ur a traveling bird like them, it could be very VERY useful to pack some cool materials and tools like idk holographic paper or a jar of crystals because CAMPUS ART STORES ARE VERY EXPENSIVE!!!!

Also....... i know it sounds a little ridiculous but there were many many times i wished i had bought a wagon to transport things around campus. imagine me with a like 4ft portfolio bag the size of my body, a pencil toolbox, another toolbox for actual tools, my backpack, any projects i may have brought, a coffee if i am holding one??? and god forbid its a rainy day and i needed my umbrella lol.. it looks & feels difficult anyway trying to lug all the stuff art school requires.. so thats just some food for thought. Imagine a cute pink wagon?!??

Isla has my eye the most, though.

I could give a run down of them all! They're fun. Now imma preface this with my head canon that, Viera, miqote, hrothgars probably have litters. It's more normal for them and their bodies are capable of handling larger pregnancies cuz...well cuz I wanna head canon that. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Isla is Fenn's oldest (Kyaris has 3 others from a certain Forum member). She's headstrong and would always challenge them growing up. Isla idolized her dad and the warder lifestyle, and she wanted to be that, but no one was sure that was cool because of how isolationist Viera can be. She wasn't born in the woods, so they were sure she would get chased out if she tried. As soon as she could, she traveled to where Fenn was born and met up with her grandpa, who begrudgingly took her on. She ended up thriving in that lifestyle, just really fit her very well. She's a tough nut, and she felt like she had something to prove. She ends up getting pregnant with her first son Erran, then when he's 12, she has her next litter of six. She ends up being exclusive with another warder, but that took over a decade for him to come around to the idea. She didn't push whatever happened. it was cool by her. She has big feelings for him and is happy he stuck around.

Rhaz is the next oldest. He's a bit of a hot head and got into fights with Isla a lot. It was fun for her infuriating for him. He has less confidence but is good at playing off like things dont bother him. He never took to fighting or anything like that but boy he loved to craft. Their family owns a weapons shop where they make a lot of the things there and he started working there young. It was all he wanted to do tbh. That's where he met Pavi and developed a huge major crush in the cute Viera paladin. They end up together and had their first little girl. No one, not even rhaz knew he was pregnant that little girl just showed up and Rhaz freaked out when he gave birth. His husband later brings home a little girl Viera caught in a bad situation and they adopt her. His life is pretty low key. He ends up taking over the shop when the parents retire.

Fey is the child they trust with anything! She was always fiercely independent and reliable. Kept to herself but has a sass streak that can sneak up on you when you're least expecting it. She helped babysit when the youngest was born, she was also the one in charge of her older siblings, which she might lord over them if she was feeling petty that day. She felt in love with a family friends garden and often asked to help out there. From there she started working at the botanists guild and part time in the family shop. She has a partner she discovered by accident in the woods. Merrins story is really fucking sad and it made him really timid and scared so she took him home to help. She wasn't about to leave this poor bun who faited at the slightest thing. Eventually they got super close and had their own babies, I wanna say four? Honestly we lose track sometimes. Fey is not the one who got pregnant, she wanted kids but she never wanted to go through that while Merrin did, so it worked out! They'll probably have more bit we haven't gotten that far.

Myrrh is the sweet baby who can do no wrong ever in pretty much the eyes of the whole family. Right off the bat this kid was a struggle, he was premature and for awhile they were scared he'd just die. He is blind like his dad though his is from a defect while Fenn is blind because of an injury. Him being blind wasn't a big deal really but he had a weaker constitution over all. He was sheltered and coddled for way way too long but when he was 18 he convinced his family he wanted to be independent and they only allowed it cuz he went to live with Fey. She gave him space to be independent butbhave someone in case he needed it. He ends up meeting Rhune (part of the miqo troupe was probably gonna post them tomorrow) and kind fell head over heels for him. Rhune was an adventurer so kind of hand a whirlwind romance before he left. Myrrh ended up pregnant and had a litter, though Rhune came back and they're pretty happy. He had (I think) 3 in his first, then a singleton then another of 5 which nearly kills him so they stop there.

Omg that was more than I expected to write, but I guess if you have other questions, I'm down to answer. They're good kids, and we're always talking about different stuff with them.

His favorites are his dogs but also Hassaleh (they bonded heavily by both losing the love of their life in one fell swoop) and his ex-gf birdmaster Salome, shes the only one alive who can call him Duša. They like to hang out and talk about birds and dogs, or just chill and parallel play. He is fond of Fenrir because they can relate and also Duško has seen his evolution into a responsible guy (also Fenrir was the one dragging him away from Gandr's deathbead and getting him to eat and rest, is thankful the guy showed that he actually matters as a person and not just as Gandr's right hand), loves Merope but who doesn't, likes the kids bc theyre smart and kind. Not very close to Nepheli though because she finds him scary and he doesn't wanna show his face. Yes Fenrir pisses him off like once a week, yes Duško has given him many a stern warning in Gandr's name, but through and through its love between those two.

They're all nice and smart kids but theyre also teens so while they dont do criminal stuff they do get wild sometimes, if they find an abandoned shopping cart they will roll it down a hill and push each other around in it. Help each other with homework constantly, sometimes too much, homework is a group effort and they either hang out at school doing it or at someone's house. Leon and Minnie will call Isaac their cousin despite looking nothing alike, they will say he's adopted, that's fine. Both will remind the burgerpeople that excuse me Isaac asked for no pickles. Also Leon and Minnie will ensure Isaac gets home before curfew, their own parents are a bit more lenient (as long as they know how much the kids will be late and if they need to be picked up). It's cute, they didn't see it coming but honestly both are nice people and a sweet couple. Kenzo thinks Lyssa could do a bit better, sorry bro.
