Promoting Well-Being: The Importance of Behavioral Health for Kids Miami
The behavioural health of children has gained importance among parents, educators, and healthcare professionals in the complicated and fast-paced world of today. Children's emotional, psychological, and social well-being are all included in behavioural health, which has an impact on their thoughts, feelings, and behaviours. Early focus on behavioral health for kids Miami can help kids acquire the abilities necessary to overcome obstacles in life, form wholesome relationships, and realise their full potential. This blog examines the value of behavioural health for children, as well as methods for encouraging and supporting it.
Recognising Children's Behavioural Health
A wide range of problems, such as social skills, emotional control, and behavioural disorders including anxiety, melancholy, ADHD, and autism spectrum disorders, are all part of a child's behavioural health. It also includes dealing with day-to-day difficulties including managing stress, emotions, and building resilience. In order to promote a healthy, balanced existence, it is important to address these issues at an early age.
Behavioural Health's Significance
Emotional Regulation: Self-Awareness: Empathy is a skill that youngsters learn to identify and control, which improves their ability to react to events. Coping Skills: By learning effective coping mechanisms for stress, frustration, and other unpleasant feelings, long-term mental health problems can be avoided.
Social Development: Healthy connections: Establishing favourable connections with peers and adults requires the development of social skills like empathy, collaboration, and communication. Effective dispute resolution techniques ease children's social connections and lessen behavioural issues.
Academic Achievement:Attention and Focus: A child's capacity to pay attention, focus, obey directions, and function academically is strongly impacted by their behavioural health. Learning Environment: Curiosity and engagement are fostered by a pleasant mental state, which also produces a favourable learning environment.
General Well-Being:Physical Health: Children who are able to control their stress and emotions typically have better general health. Mental and emotional well-being are intimately related to physical health. Long-Term Results: Better employment possibilities and healthier adult relationships are only two examples of the good life outcomes that can result from early intervention and assistance.
In summary
A child's total well-being is greatly impacted by their behavioural health, which also has an impact on their social, emotional, and intellectual development. Home health care Miami can assist children in developing the abilities they require to flourish by creating a nurturing atmosphere, promoting candid communication, and getting expert assistance when necessary. A child's current quality of life is enhanced when behavioural health issues are addressed early on, and it also lays the groundwork for a healthier, happier future. Our society's overall well-being is impacted when we make investments in our children's behavioural health.

45 + lando caus i need some angst in my life rn
"Lies. Just lies."
driver + number = drabble <3
angst and lando go together like me and red flag men tbh
warnings: angst, mentions of mental health struggles, accusations of cheating, lando's not a good bf
He hasn't looked right lately. He hasn't looked right since...
Miami, really. Once the exuberance of his first win wore off he's been... Different.
At first you could ignore it. Lando prefers it that way - just ignore it until he's ready to talk about it. He'll always struggle with his mental health, you're aware of that, and over the course of your relationship you've grown accustomed to how he handles it. You may not always agree with how he does, but you can only stand by his side and offer support.
Rather, you would, if he'd let you.
"You don't have to come this weekend," he's saying as he packs up for the trip to Austria.
You blink, freezing in front of the closet. You know that most of the other girlfriends and wives don't go to that race - darling there's literally nothing to do? - but it's one of your favorite tracks. The scenery, the atmosphere... You love going there.
Lando knows this. And he doesn't want you to go.
"Heading straight home after the race, spend a couple days with the family," he continues, either not noticing or not caring that you're looking at him with annoyance and worry. Zipping up his suitcase, he pushes it to the floor and rolls his shoulders. "So I'll see you at mum's?"
Don't say it don't say it don't say it–
"Oh am I allowed to go there?" you ask, surprised at the bitter coldness in your tone. You can remember when snapping like that would have Lando overflowing with apologies and reassurances. Now, he barely flinches, and you feel dread chilling your heart.
"Go. Don't. It's whatever," he says, his jaw tense.
"Lando–"
"I get it, alright?" He grabs the hoodie lying on the bed and pulls it on. "You don't like my family anyway."
"What are you talking about? I love them," you insist.
He snorts, running his fingers through his hair. "Sure."
And you finally snap. Fuck waiting around for him to be ready to talk. "What the hell is wrong with you?"
Lando isn't meeting your eyes. "Nothing," he says, gathering his wallet and phones. "Just tired."
"For almost two months?" you ask, trying to keep your voice calm. "You've been like this since Miami–"
"Like what?" he asks, and you notice he's growing more tense.
You gesture aimlessly. "This," you whisper. "What happened?"
He opens his mouth and you hear his slow inhale. But instead of speaking, he snaps his mouth closed and shakes his head. "Nothing. I'm just stressed, okay?"
The words slipped out before you could stop them. "Did you cheat on me?"
"Babe no, of course not. I'm just... Tired."
"Not too tired to go out every weekend."
"So I can't have any fun?" he asks, rolling his eyes.
"Lando, we–" You stop when you see him grabbing the handle of his suitcase. "Lan–"
"I gotta go. I'll see you in England. Or not."
"We promised we'd talk about problems, Lando," you say, following him from the bedroom. "You said–"
"Lies. Just lies." He slaps a cap onto his head. "Because neither of us wants the truth do we?"
And with that, he leaves, the slam of the door echoing in the apartment.

1. New Jersey Governor Declares State a 'Safe Haven' for Gender-Affirming Care
New Jersey’s Democratic governor has a message for the LGBTQ+ community. He issued an executive order on Tuesday indicating that, unlike in some Republican-controlled states, New Jersey is open and welcoming to everybody regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity. In addition, he says New Jersey is a “safe haven” for those seeking gender-affirming care.

Finland has become the 31st member of the Nato security alliance, doubling the length of member states' borders with Russia. The Finnish foreign minister handed the accession document to the US secretary of state who declared Finland a member.
Then in bright sunshine in front of Nato's gleaming new headquarters, Finland's white-and-blue flag joined a circle of 30 other flags.Finland's accession is a setback for Russia's Vladimir Putin. He had repeatedly complained of Nato's expansion before his full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
4. Captive orca Lolita set for release into 'home waters' after 50 years at Miami Seaquarium
The killer whale known as Lolita appears one step closer to returning to its natural habitat of the Pacific Northwest, after performing at a Miami tourist attraction for decades. It was taken from the ocean in 1970. But after a long-running dispute over where Lolita belongs, officials from various parties announced Thursday a "binding agreement" to take Lolita -- also known as Tokitae or Toki -- to its "home waters."
"Lolita will receive the highest quality care as the team works to make relocation possible in the next 18 to 24 months," Miami Seaquarium said in a statement Thursday.
5. Nature prescriptions shown to reduce blood pressure, depression, anxiety, and loneliness
A new study published in The Lancet Planetary Health suggests that nature prescriptions, which recommend spending time in nature, can provide both physical and mental health benefits. Patients who followed these prescriptions had reduced blood pressure, lower depression and anxiety scores, and a higher daily step count.
Research shows that contact with nature reduces harms, including those from poor air quality, heatwaves, and chronic stress, while encouraging healthy behaviours such as socialising and physical activity. This can help to prevent issues including loneliness, depression and cardiovascular disease.
6. Library Receives Flood Of Donations For Beloved Cat

Thurman’s story plays out in every country where abortion is banned. Women still seek abortions, but now they do so in dangerous or unsafe conditions, or with inadequate medical supervision. They lie to their friends and family about where they are going, drive or fly for hours to seek care, and then return home, possibly bleeding heavily. Having to travel for an abortion raises the risks of the procedure enormously. Until abortion was legalized in Ireland and Northern Ireland in 2018, women went covertly to England. (Many still do because access remains limited.) Polish women travel to the Netherlands. In El Salvador, where anti-abortion laws are so strict that women have been jailed for natural miscarriages and premature births, the rich fly to Miami for terminations. Around the world, women denied access to abortion care seek do-it-yourself solutions. ProPublica reported today on a Georgia woman in this situation, Candi Miller, who died after procuring abortion pills online. The mother of three had an autoimmune disease and other medical conditions that substantially increased the health risks of pregnancy.

"My Name is Harvey Milk and I'm Here To Recruit You!"
If you don't know Harvey Milk was the first openly gay man elected to public office, to the San Francisco Board of Supervisors in 1977. To this day Harvey remains the most famous queer person elected to office maybe in the world. His short and tumultuous time in office was dominated by the fight for gay rights. In the late 1970s there was a huge backlash against the rise of gay rights spearheaded by a group called "Save Our Children". Across the country they organized elections to revoke local gay rights ordinances in Miami, Saint Paul, Wichita and Eugene in the summer and fall of 1977. In 1978 a California state Senator John Briggs brought forward a citizens referendum, Proposition 6, which would ban gay people and supporters of gay rights from being teachers any where in the state of California. The last year of Harvey's life was consumed with the struggle against Briggs who he debated across the state. In the end the Briggs Initiative was defeated 58-41% with Harvey's home of San Francisco turning out over 70% against. The national anti-gay fever broke and "Save Our Children" never recovered.
Harvey opened every speech he ever gave with "My name is Harvey Milk, and I'm here to recruit you" In the 1970s rather than accusing gay people of "grooming" children (an idea that didn't exist then) they were accused of "recruiting" them. "Recruiting our children to the homosexual lifestyle". So Harvey used it as a joke but also a battle cry
Today it feels like every day there's more bad news. Across the country state legislatures are trying to ban trans health care for minors and even adults. Local school boards are banning books about LGBT people (and others). States are trying to ban drag. violence and the threat of violence are trying to stop companies from doing Pride and attacking Queer events. The internet is flooded with "groomer" attacks on our humanity. There are days it does feel like the 1970s all over again.
BUT! we won then, and there are many lessons we can take from Harvey and his struggle and use to win the fight against the current wave of hate plunging American in darkness. Harvey's been gone a very long time so... My name is Max and I'm here to recruit you, here are some things I want everyone to do.
VOTE BITCH!
Are you an American citizen 18 years of age or older? Are you registered to vote? if the answer is no, register to fucking vote bitch, here check out what you need. If you want registered, click the link any ways and double check. If you're 16 or 17 years old good news more than half the states in America allow you to "preregister" so you're all signed up and become a registered vote right on your 18th birthday. Whats more ask every vaguely left of center person in your life, everyone who supports LGBT rights, if they're registered to vote and if any one says "no" bug the shit out of them till that changes.
But more than just registering to vote you have to go and vote, yes every election. Right now across America conservative queerphobes are using local elections that get little to no attention and are often very low turn out to take over and push wildly extreme and hateful agendas. Local school boards across America are banning books that have LGBT characters or themes. They pushing policies that refuse students the right to their correct names and pronouns. They want to require schools to out students to their parents against their wishes. Check Vote411 or ballotpedia to find what elections are happening around you.
Candidates on a local level, school board, town/city council, county government, even up to state Rep and state Senate candidates are almost always very responsive to questions. Email everyone running and ask them where they stand, you will get answers I PROMISE you will get answers. Its the easiest thing to do and everyone who has the right to vote in this country should do it, vote in every election.
"But I live in a super blue area my vote doesn't matter" SHUT UP! SHUT UP! even if every local election is Democratic it can be more progressive, ask local candidates what they're gonna do to push LGBT rights forward. Will your local school board push teaching LGBT history? respect trans students pronouns? will your local library board host a drag queen story hour and put together programs for pride? ask! push them! let local candidates know!
"but I live in a super red area my vote doesn't count" BULLSHIT! where ever you are there's a local election that can swing to the non-shitty side if people show up, you can be the difference in a school board election. No matter what stand up and be counted.
Come Out Come Out Wherever You Are.
Since the earliest days of the movement in the 1950s and 1960s before Stonewall, through Harvey Milk's time in the 1970s through to right now, the most powerful tool we have is to come out. It is easy to hate the homosexual, the transgender as an abstraction, as a stereotype as an unrefuted lie. It is so much harder to hate a brother, a sister, a son, a daughter, a friend, a neighbor, your lawyer, your doctor, the mailman, your 8th grade English teacher. In 1978 Harvey said:
"Unless you have dialogue, unless you open the walls of dialogue, you can never reach to change people's opinion. In those two weeks, more good and bad, but more about the word homosexual and gay was written than probably in the history of mankind. Once you have dialogue starting, you know you can break down prejudice. In 1977 we saw a dialogue start."
Thats what they're scared of, thats why they're freaking out in Target, why they're trying to shut down Drag Queen story hours and take away the books. Ignorance and hate lives in darkness and dies in the light. In 1978 gay men and lesbians went door to door in California and introduced themselves to strangers to explain the harm Briggs would do to them. They vote for us 3 to 1 if they know they know one of us.
It shouldn't be like this, it should be when you're ready when you have all the words, but they're coming for us all so come out come out wherever you are. If you know your parents will love you but you've been holding off because it's scary or stressful, nows the moment. If you're a grown ass adult who lives on your own and don't need mom and dad's money to pay your rent, tell them, no matter how much it hurts, call them on the phone, write them a letter if you have to. Does your family know but they asked you not to tell grandma, grandma, great-aunt Marge because they're old or whatever, or your aunt and uncle who are born again Christians. Listen if they still vote they could be hurting you and if they really love you they shouldn't want to do that, tell them! tell them who you really are, and it might be the work of years to bring that person around, but you never know till you try it.
Are there family members you have who know and love you but you know they're conservative and still vote Republican and you've been avoiding talking to them about it because it's awkward? Stop avoiding it, explain it to them, explain that it's not "just politics" explain to your loved ones that they ARE hurting you. If they don't hear it the first time, don't stop, if they love you they shouldn't hurt you.
Come Out at Work, Come out at your bowling league, come out to that friend of a friend you see sometimes, wear a pin, rainbow shoes, a shirt in public, tell your co-workers, your clients, your Church, your Synagogue. Wear that rainbow pin, that pronoun t-shirt, put a sticker on your car, your bag, your phone. If it's safe for you to be out in a space, claim it, COME OUT WHEREVER YOU ARE.
COMING OUT AS TRANS OR NON-BINARY
COMING OUT AS LESBIAN, GAY, OR BISEXUAL
Go To Pride This Year.
Conservatives are trying harder than any time in my lifetime to shut down Pride. Florida and Tennessee have passed laws that will limit pride events. Terrorists are threatening and attacking brands that are doing Pride themed events and products. These events and products go back at least 20 years but the violence of attacks against them is really new. So the only answer is to GO TO PRIDE. I don't care if crowds are not your thing, I don't care if its 97 degrees out the day your city does it, I don't care if your local pride is small and embarrassing, I don't care you might see that one ex, I DON'T CARE. If you physically can go to a pride event this June DO IT. If you're scared to be seen, wear a mask, go in drag, put make or body pant over your tattoos whatever you need to do. If we want to have Pride again next year in many areas this year needs to be a show of force. If you've never been and you never go again this is the year, do it, go, find the Pride event closest to you and do it.
Get Involved Whore!
So far I've offered you pretty easy asks for things you can do, voting, coming out, going to Pride. Now comes the harder ones, get involved. In 1978 gay men and lesbians knocked on doors and told voters across the state of California how an anti-gay measure would affect them personally. If they had the nerve less than 10 years after Stonewall to go to strangers houses and come out to them, I believe you can do it too. Get out there, knock doors, make phone calls, mail postcards, wave signs. Talk to Voters from anywhere, find your local Democratic Party, check out LGBT Democrats in your state, check out groups like the HRC and PFLAG
if you've got money give to HRC, give to GLAD, Give to The National Center for Lesbian Rights all 3 of whom have been the tip of the spear fighting the insane anti-LGBT laws coming out of the states.
If you don't have money, check out The Victory Fund thats supports LGBT candidates and find one close to you and sign up to help. Can't find anyone? try Run for Something that supports young progressives. If you live in a Blue area of a blue state, you can check the Sister District Project which links up volunteers with swingy districts across the country. Swing Left does much the same on a more federal level
crazy right wing extremists can count on organized support from Churches and far right groups. You, yes you, talking to you Glenn! HAVE TO be the support network, the volunteer base for LGBT candidates and their allies and supporters. You have to HAVE to get out there, give if you have money, knock on doors, call, text, write letters go to a protest, sit at a booth, register people to vote, hand out literature, WHATEVER whatever. You can do it, please give at least one weekend over the next two years to a political campaign, be it a local school board candidate, town council, working for the Democrats or volunteering through the HRC or a progressive group, the people who want to destroy you are out working to win elections, you have to be too.
Fucking Run, why not?
This is the last thing, the hardest thing and the thing I don't expect everyone to do. Run, yes really, run for office, yes you, yes I mean it. If the crazed insane conservative who thinks Hillary Clinton drinks child blood out of kids like a juice box is qualified for School Board to ban all the books with queer people or black folks, you are MORE than qualified. I don't care if you're a high school drop out with face tats, you're more qualified than these people, so do it, if you've ever thought of it, do it. Frustratingly dozens of dozens of offices across this country are filled every day but uncontested elections only one person signed up, hell that person can be you why not? Look into it Last year 41% of the seats in the Florida Legislature went uncontested, 37% of the seats in Texas, 53% in Tennessee, 58% in South Carolina. It's not for everyone, but if you've ever wanted to, ever thought about it, take this as your sign, do it. Do you have a friend who's so smart, cool, involved and just better than you in every way and you think they should run the world? Nominate them, give them a push to run
I think Harvey put the importance of electing queer people better than I ever could so
Somewhere in Des Moines or San Antonio, there’s a young gay person who all of a sudden realizes that she or he is gay. Knows that if the parents find out, they’ll be tossed out of the house. The classmates will taunt the child and the Anita Bryants and John Briggs’ are doing their bit on TV, and that child had several options. Staying in a closet, suicide, and then one day that child might open a paper, and it says “Homosexual elected in San Francisco,” and there are two new options. An option is to go to California or stay in San Antonio and fight. Two days after I was elected, I got a phone call, and the voice was quite young. It was from Altoona, Pennsylvania, and the person said, “Thanks.” And you’ve got to elect gay people so that that young child and the thousands upon thousands like that child know that there’s hope for a better world. There’s hope for a better tomorrow. Without hope, not only gays, but those Blacks, and the Asians, and disabled, and seniors. The us’s. The us’s without hope, the us’s give up. I know that you cannot live on hope alone, but without it, life is not worth living. And you, and you, and you have got to give them hope. Thank you very much.
If you read all this thanks, I can't make anyone do anything of course, but whatever you choose to do, I'll be out there knocking doors. I wish I did not live in such dark times but as Gandalf The Gray said "So do all who live to see such times, but that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us.”
Finally to all my Queer brothers, sisters, and siblings, even though I do not know you, and even though I may never meet you, laugh with you, cry with you, or kiss you. I love you. With all my heart, I love you.

I gave up on being pro life publicly and online. The genocide in the Congo and in Gaza have proved it to me that many western women who run those pro life accounts don’t care for children. Many babies have been lost due to hospital bombings. More children are displaced with no families.
I’ve tried reaching out when they talk about saving children in generic posts because very real babies are losing their lives by IDF terrorism. And I get blocked or I get told “that’s different/ they’re Muslim/they should have left already/I don’t care” over and over and over again. The countless videos are already out that have children begging and crying for their families they lost or the homes that can’t be saved. Some of the worst messages I read criticized and blame the Palestinian men too that they should be protecting the kids, so when they die, it’s actually Palestinians fault. Not the IDF. Meanwhile those “young men” are just teenagers because their parents are dead. The Congolese topic is worst. Many are begging people to stop buying the iPhone 15 to raise awareness over the issues there but I got told by one girl who likes to call herself an anti woke submissive wife that she couldn’t care less about the Congo, she’s going to do whatever her husband wants, if that means ignoring genocide then that’s what she will do too. It’s her god given to have freedom over dead bodies l…
I’m fed up. I’m sick of the hypocrisy. I’m sick of seeing stupid homestead content of how they’re at peace taking care of a home as they purposefully condone genocide. If some hacker group exposed all these “submissive Godly trad wife” accounts as being agents for Israel to distract the west from IDF war crimes, I wouldn’t be surprised the least. Their apathy is demonic
@not-your-average-prolifer is the only pro life blog who passed the vibe check as far as I know. She reblogged posts about the emergency of pregnant women in Palestine and also post about mental health of middle east women. I think she is left leaning (correct me if I'm wrong!) so I'm not surprised to see her with more empathy about whatever's happening to women abroad, unlike Conservatives who are extremely stupid & uneducated when it comes to foreign affairs, if not straight up xenophobic.
I hope for every single Christian I know to never open their mouth about uwu Christianism is from Middle east uwu ever again the next time someone calls Christianism white man's religion or I'll go berserk on them. They better shut up forever. They had no problem to keep their mouth shut witnessing the martyrdom of our brothers - they better keep it that way permanently and stop summoning their struggle once it's convenient to them. YES, they proved they definitely consider Christianism a white man thing, considering our little care they have for our (non white) Christian brothers overseas. They better keep them out of their mouth permanently.
"They're Muslim" it's been well documented that there are Christians in Palestine. But even if they weren't, Christ wants everyone to be saved and accept him as their lord and savior - refusing to extend some basic empathy to people being bombed and killed in their sin is not the way to go. Never forget that Jesus didn't heal or saved only Jews, but also pagans, prostitutes, etc. It's insane how so unemphatic "Christians" have become.
Christian Palestinians are actually some of the oldest Christians - like, where do they those idiots think Jerusalem was?? where did the Pentecost happen? IN MIAMI?? KANSAS?? "They should have left" WHERE?? aren't the ppl pulling out this argument the same crybabies whining about woke culture destroying western civilization? Why didn't they leave the western zone already??? Also aren't they the same against immigration and how men fleeing their country are lazy cowards? so why are they mad at Palestinians sticking to their land?? Damn, Western politicians/diplomacy have the opportunity to do the funniest thing possible and mass import Palestinians in western countries to abide Zionists requirements in Israel 💀
And LOL oh so now Palestinian men are supposed to protect children? what are they supposed to do when the IDF is bombing their house? Take weapons to defend/get back their land and shit? Oh my bad, that makes them terrorists (and let's be clear : what happened on October 7th is unjustifiable but let's not act like the Hamas wasn't called terrorist much earlier than that). It's a damned if you do, damned if you don't. If they do nothing, they're cowards, and if they do, they are terrorists - because in this case, resistance is defiance. Ultimately they just want to deflect from their own lack on empathy and find a rational explanation to that.
Conservative scrotes are the LAST people who should lecture anyone about defending the children when there are acting bullying kids young enough to be their grandchildren calling them wokes, leftists, or whatever. I won't even start about gun violence and how deflective they are about protecting the children only to protect their precious right to carry. Ghouls. They only care abt unborn babies because they are unable to call them out on their bs yet. Once they do, they'll cuss them, call them woke, and all sort of -ists.
On TikTok there was a Christian girl saying how Christians are "too emotional" and how we should keep supporting "God chosen people" (Israel). I already made a post calling out how this "god chosen people " narrative didn't stand now that we were in the NEW COVENANT. But let's follow her train of thought: isn't humankind made from God image? Where do emotions come from? Didn't God himself have emotion? Why? What's the right or wrong place to have emotion? She and all the clown who agreed with her would never be able to reply those questions. We've all seen the videos. I did what I could to avoid them but they're quite unavoidable at this point. What's the correct emotion after seeing 2 kids younger than 10 carrying a third one crying while one of his foot was hanging with only one tendon?? This girl, along with every single Christian unmoved by this disaster has to shut up. Their heart is a stone and they should stop trying to lecture people who still have a heart made of flesh. We're not the same. Christ is PEACE. Not war or violence.
And girl, you really shouldn't even engage with women labelling themselves "anti woke submissive wife" 💀 why would you expect them to care about anything but their idol (husband)? Stay focus on what really matters. Peace and God. We're in the end times and God is slowly but surely unfolding the truth. The masks are slipping. Take note of all the so called who remained silent witnessing satan action, take proper action, and go on.

What are your favorite moments between Lando and Oscar?
Do you read any books? If so, what kind, because I'm looking for inspiration for reading.
hi anon! 🧡
i've alr made 2 posts of my fav moments (oct 2023 / april 2024) so i'll gather some recent ones if that's ok !!! it's genuinely insane how much content we've gotten in the past 2-3 months hlskdh writing this made me realize i hadn't properly registered how ridiculous they've been ever since miami 😭
f1 24 ratings: i really think landoscar stand out sooo much in this video compared to the other grid pairings which are usually some combination of more diplomatic/reserved/normal/antagonistic around each other, like yes each pairing on the grid has a unique dynamic & many are friendly as well don't get me wrong! but here it's just... the sheer combination of how unreserved 814 are around each other, how they bicker/banter naturally, how they focus only on each other and get off-track and ramble about random things that have nothing to do with the ratings etc. that makes me so... @___@ basically against the much more "careful" interactions of other teammates you can tell landoscar are very evenly and comfortably matched and that's basically the ethos of why i like them in the first place !!!
the insanity of lando's praise kink in their android video (i did a good job? 🥺) + oscar indulging him the entire time + lando telling oscar that he has a SOOTHING VOICE before immediately getting all shy about it and trying to laugh it off... girl
Are you more of a moaner or a grunter: like first of all What on earth. but also in general i always find landoscar soo amusing on filmed radio shows because it really highlights their sense of mischief + ability to communicate with nothing but meaningful glances LOL. like they are so good at feeling out the other's sarcasm and going along with jokes on the fly / knowing where the limit is which is why lando can be like oh we hate each other oscar is my biggest rival 🙄 and oscar just thinks lando is being silly & cute 😭😭😭
entirety of silverstone wknd esp post-race fan stage esp "you're going to let down sooo many people :(" and oscar immediately giggling and going "well since you put it that way!!" + the fact that lando stroked oscar's shoulder and stared him down for an eternity before patting his arm and oscar teasingly elbowed lando back about being the home favorite + just the shoey and the face oscar made at lando when he was trying to egg him on + oscar continuously ragdolling at everything lando says or does even when it's not even remotely funny?!?! 😭 Don't even get me started on the bracelets.
team hub tour has such a wealth of different moments but i think the one people talk about the most is You Frickin' Muppet which frankly permanently lives in my brain ! but it's also once again just sweet to see how comfortable they are in their personal/shared space and how oscar pleasantly nods along to all of lando's commentary (even when he's LYING). also the hammock moment 😔 anon i like them
last but certainly not least -> POST-AUSTRIA LANDO INTERVIEW.... (head in hands) actually felt unwell about this moment for days the entire thing is still so crasy to me. like the barely suppressed impatience and lando's emotions clearly running high and you can tell he's still feeling unwell and just generally Done with the weekend, and then oscar suddenly passes by and before lando even really properly sees him he's running off to congratulate him??? out of everything we've gotten in the past few months this one really krills me...
2. for books: anon i'm afraid i haven't read properly in wayyy too long i'm sorry! 😭 my health problems and brain fog make it difficult to focus although i know i should really get back into it...
anyway this is even more embarrassing but i almost exclusively read books about gay people HLKSDFH. like literally. i mostly enjoy bittersweet gay fiction & non-fiction, recently-ish i read garth greenwell - what belongs to you and some of my old favs are carmen maria machado - in the dream house, el-mohtar/gladstone - this is how you lose the time war, and kira t madden - long live the tribe of fatherless girls... for example 💀 was also like halfway through young mungo and all this could be different but i kind of forgot about them whoops
otherwise i loooove love love graphic novels !!! i'm a big fan of all forms of sequential art & animation and take Supporting The Arts very seriously :') some of my favs are tillie walden - on a sunbeam and trung le nguyen - the magic fish — i adore tillie walden and in general am just a fan of a lot of stuff published by first second *__*
also if you want to read about f1 i genuinely find jenson's autobiography (life to the limit) so entertaining LOL... it's a really quick n breezy read but "his" writing voice is still witty & fun imo :') also last year i listened to the first book of the beartown trilogy while i was stuck in the hospital and immediately read the other two after and the entire experience lowk CHANGED MY WHOLE ENTIRE LIFE... tbf i am a hockey fan so this somewhat influenced my perception but it's really so much more than a hockey series the hockey is just a vehicle for like dissecting the human condition and what not. fredrik backman is literally crasyyy 2 me how does he understand people so well how does he dig into people's psyches like that... *__* anyway i won't say too much but benji ovich is unironically the character of my life. my blorbo if you will 😔
ok sorry this was probably a useless ramble HKLSDFH but thank uuu for the ask <3 let us reminisce on all these beautiful 814 moments

My darling, how is my beloved depressed omega Daniel doing? Did he enjoy the sun in Miami?
Miami sun on his face, Daniel closes his eyes and tilts his head back to soak it all up.
Miami weekend was fun last year and this year, so far, was off to a great start too.
Since Australia things had been… well, better. A lot better. He was feeling better and better every day and he knew that taking this year off had been the right move for him. He’d had time to focus on himself, to put the work in for his own health and peace of mind, and though he hesitated to be too optimistic just yet Daniel was pretty sure he was feeling glimpses, hints, little bits of his old self creeping in more and more every day.
Being lovingly adored by the Paddock and the fans – despite not being employed this year – was nice, too. It was nice to be so casual and come to races with Max if he wanted to, or stay home if not. The energy was good and he couldn’t deny that he felt a giant weight off his shoulders this year. Last year every week felt doomed, gloomy, impossible to get through. This year he can bounce from hospitality to hospitality, see people he knows and loves, be a bit of his old self again without any of the pressures of racing on the line.
It's good.
Ever better, Dax is here. Daniel made sure he got in a good hug with the older alpha, enveloped in his strong arms and big body, safe and warm. Not that Max didn’t do the same for him, but it was nice to have another alpha in his life who so dearly cared for him but without any of the weird sexual tension that sometimes came with being friends with alphas. Dax was big and strong and warm, and had had his own struggles over the years and was a safe place to reach out to when he was going through it.
Daniel sighed a bit to himself when he opened his eyes again, sun-soaked and happy and warm, the sounds of free practice in the distance from where he sat at the Red Bull hospitality.
In this moment everything was okay. He was okay. He would be okay.
He smiled at the thought of it all, the first real taste of knowing he was going to be alright.

Last year they tried to adress the booing and that clearly didn't work. So maybe the muting is the best way to go. If people don't see booing at one track, they won't repeat it at other tracks. plus booing fans can be loud, but they are not representative for the entire crowd. Certainly many british fans were also cheering for max. Even max went along with the broadcast and said the atmosphere is great. Okay, its not ideal that this is necessary, but showing a great atmosphere can ensure that the next races have a great atmosphere. //It’s all “abusing rival fans is not correct” and “we need to call out the abuse drivers face, help with their mental health” but only when it’s their drivers. When it’s Max it’s a big fuck you from Sky and other media outlets.
Firstly they never ever called it for Max, they never once in Silverstone, Monza, Miami, Austin, Abu Dhabi or Brazil addressed the not only the boos but the abusive chants Max was receiving all weekend at these venues. They only called it out when Lewis got cheered during his spin in quali in Austria. Lewis was never booed in Zandvoort but sky sports and mainstream English media commented on how the Max fans were 100% going to boo and abuse Lewis but that never happened. In 2021 it happened more to Max than to Lewis but it was never ever addressed when it was Max.
Secondly I watched videos from this weekend from fans at the track, the booing was loud as hell and the fact the crowd was muted proves they were louder than the ones cheering. Max went along with it yes because he doesn’t care. The man literally could care less about his haters who have paid €500 plus to see him win and then boo him. Max has always had respect for the fans when he goes to different venues because that is just who Max is, he doesn’t want a whole thing made out of it he’s just there to race and go home.
I’ve said it before the booing is not what pisses me off the most, it’s the lack of respect to call it out plus the abuse Max is facing at these tracks. I mean he didn’t do fan form, that has never been the case for any English drivers at one of Max’s home races. They have sniggered and laughed at the abuse Max has gotten at these tracks, they barely called out the vile abuse himself and his family were getting after Brazil. I stick to my point that they only care about the mental health and the abuse of some drivers, when it’s Max they are happy to see him suffer.
