ID: A lineup of some original characters drawn as Among Us beans. They have been stylized to have differing body types and they have tails instead of backpacks. Some sketches appear showing who in the group would be an 'impostor' by showing their spiky mouths. End ID.
not necessarily hard to find info but did you know the majority of the main cast of Visible Spectrum genuinely used to be among us characters. Yea. anyways (re-beans them)

Lughnasadh or Lammas is a Gaelic festival marking the beginning of the harvest season. Historically it was widely observed throughout Ireland, Scotland & the Isle of Man. Traditionally it is held on 1 August, or about halfway between the summer solstice & autumn equinox. In recent centuries some of the celebrations have shifted to the Sunday nearest this date.
Lughnasadh is mentioned in early Irish literature & has pagan origins. The festival is named after Lugh the god of craftsmanship. It was also founded by the god Lugh as a funeral feast & athletic competition/funeral games in memory of his foster-mother Tailtiu. She was said to have died of exhaustion after clearing the plains of Ireland for agriculture.
• Tailtiu may have been an earth goddess who represented the dying vegetation that fed mankind.
• Another tale says that Lugh founded the festival in memory of his two wives, the sisters Nás & Bói.
In the Middle Ages it involved great gatherings that included ceremonies, athletic contests (most notably the Tailteann Games which were extremely dangerous), horse racing, feasting, matchmaking & trading.
• With the coming of Christianity to the Celtic lands, the old festival of Lughnasadh took on Christian symbolism. Loaves of bread were baked from the first of the harvested grain & placed on the church altar on the first Sunday of August. The Christianized name for the feast of Lughnasadh is Lammas which means “loaf mass”.
Some believe this is the time where the God has weakened & is losing his strength as seen in the waning of the day's light. The Goddess is pregnant with the young God who will be born on Yule.

Prayers•
Historical-
Holy Queen of Sanctity, we hymn you, Hestia, whose abiding realm is Olympus and the middle point of earth and the Delphic laurel tree! You dance around Apollo’s towering temple rejoicing both in the tripod’s mantic voices and when Apollo sounds the seven strings of his golden phorminx and, with you, sings the praises of the feasting gods. We salute you, daughter of Kronos and Rhea, who alone brings firelight to the sacred altars of the gods; Hestia, reward our prayer, grant wealth obtained in honesty; then we shall always, dance around your glistening throne.
For the lost -
Blessed Hestia, the first and the last, and the always flame. May your light burn bright and strong, May your prayers be those of respect and love, May you guide the lost, And give to those who have nothing. I give thanks to you, Hestia, for all that you have done And continue to do.
For people with intrusive thoughts -
I ask Hestia, the kind goddess, to help those who feel down. May they find comfort and peace inside of their homes and inside their own minds. Protect them for their destructive thoughts, and be the safe place they need so much
A prayer for homeles—
In Hestia’s name, may you always have a home and a roof over your head. May you always be comfortable and warm with a full belly. May you always be in good spirits and good company, never knowing the pervading loneliness that envelopes the soul.
Morning
Blessed Hestia, Fill this home with your light and bounty, As the day fills it with golden sunshine.
Evening
Glorious Hestia, Let your hearth fire warm this house, As night draws her shadowed cloak over it now.
Blessings of the kitchen-
Hestia bless my little kitchen, I love it’s every nook And bless me as I do my work, Wash pots and pans and cook. May the meals that I prepare, Be seasoned from above, With thy blessings and thy grace, But most of all thy love

🍩💐🍼☁️♥️ for all your babes? If that's not a ridiculous number which if it is feel free to pick and choose 😅
Ooooh that's a lot! In a very positive way, thanks Lilou!! :D
It's... quite long (I did everything, yes.)... So the rest is under the cut!
🥞 PANCAKE - what is their comfort breakfast?
Aisling: Sweets sweets sweets. She's the ultimate sweet tooth. After a while, the comfort breakfast will be cookies, scones and sandwiches with butter and jam (peaches, oranges or lemon) and cocoa in winter, fruit juice in summer, eaten on the roof with Sera.
Raina: Something warm and abundant to start the day. Eggs and bacon and beans with some coffee (in the mansion when she has the money for it). Bread and butter and plum jam. Something that tastes like home, back in Ferelden, when Malcolm tried his best to learn to cook.
Alyra: "Why should I have preferences, it's food, it's meant to keep you standing, urgh, why do I need to reply to this-" She's for savoury breakfasts. Ham, some veggies and cheese on bread. Tea for drink. The comfort would be some halla cheese on some freshly baked rye bread.
💐 BOUQUET - create a bouqet for them! what do those flowers mean? are any of the flowers their particular favourite?
@salsedine here it is, you asked it too! Bold of you to assume I know enough about flowers to form bouquets (thank you both for the misplaced trust xD)... But according to the Victorian flower language:
Aisling: Hawthorne (Hope), Forget-me-not, Rosemary (Remembrance), Periwinkle (Tender recollection), Tiger Lily (pride), Lily of the Valley (return of happiness)
Raina: Poppy (consolation, oblivion), Red Hollyhock (Ambition), White Poplar (Courage, Time), Thistle (Independence), Laurel (glory), Heliothrope (devoted attachment)
Alyra: Asphodel (Faithful until death), Magnolia (Magnificence), Pimpernel (change), Geranium (deceit), Juniper (protection), Holly (foresight)
🍼 BABY BOTTLE - what are their thoughts on children?
Aisling: Not eager to get going, but she's ok in having one or two. Later on. Post Inquisition. When things are stable. Later. (then she'll see some friend pregnant and will start to have ideas)
Raina: "No, thank you." cit.
Alyra: Ok with it, voices are she left to seek a cure not to give Anora the satisfaction of bearing the (official) firstborn and heir. She came to like Anora, but she's petty and can get territorial. She may even succeed.
☁️ CLOUD - a soft headcanon
Aisling: She has a fixed and very strict schedule for hugs to distribute around Skyhold. It's a precise table, divided in list of people who need a hug daily, every other day, twice a week. She's very thorough with it whenever she can. She'll just appear when you're not too busy, march towards you with a purpose, squeeze you for a while with not a single word and, satisfied, go on with her day. Cullen gets regularly pounced at and gets the longest hugs. Bull get an attack hug because he told her to try and take him by surprise, so she'll get some exercise as well. She managed a couple of times (it involved fade-stepping through a wall and Cole's help).
Raina: Answered here!
Alyra: She's considered to be cold and unaffective, and it's true that she rarely shows emotion, is the queen of resting bitch faces, will judge you. She's soft to her core, she still keeps Alistair's rose and always wears a necklace that Morrigan left her. Kieran is, if you ask her, 100% her son too. When you get to know her, she's very warm and caring, and the person you would want at your side to bury a corpse with.
❤️ RED HEART - their love language(s)?
Aisling: PHYSICAL TOUCH. Acts of Services. Quality time.
Raina: ACTS OF SERVICES. Quality time. Verbal affirmations.
Alyra: ACTS OF SERVICES. Gifts. Physical Touch.
#oc ask game#aisling lavellan#raina hawke#alyra mahariel#pheeeeeeeew that was long xD#but interesting!!! I had so much fun

Ponos' main place of residence is his estate in the state of Macedonia. The mansion (which he built himself) is an overwhelming display of brick and stone. Inside the color scheme is mainly dark hues of burgundy, brown, gray, & orange. There's also seven fireplaces, brick & wood flooring, black onyx countertops, a guest cottage (rarely used), a stone pool pavilion, and a home gym. Everything is kept painstakingly clean and orderly. For his convience to stay close to his job, Ponos sometimes stays over at an apartment he's renting in the Forgia neighborhood of New Olympus.
He has an extremely disciplined work out regimen twice a day every day. He takes pride in his peak physical condition.
Ponos has an animal companion- a beast of a dragon named Shadowsteel. He's a hulking mass of black scales, horns, teeth, & claws as sharp as swords and wings almost too big for his body. It's said that Shadowsteel was hatched from the same clutch as Darksmoke.
Go-to drinks for him include roast coffee, water, and earl grey tea. As for alcohol, he doesn't mind a glass of scotch, whiskey, or red wine every once in a while.
Since Ponos flies to work, he'll sometimes stop for breakfast along the way- getting four whole wheat breakfast burritos (added with bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, red onions, red peppers, mushrooms, & spinach) along with a homemade oatmeal protein shake he brings from home.
He considers his cigar smoking to be a nasty habit.
Ponos as a deity is quite loved among the oreads as well as the mountainous satyrs and centaurs. There has even been a petition for a temple to be built in his honor in Macedonia.
Most of his acquired wealth comes from the many coal mines he owns throughout Olympius.
Ponos' main job is being the warden of Chlotonius Prison- the most notorious prison in all the realms. The maximum security is infamously known for housing male inmates of all creeds deemed the most dangerous. It's also generally said that the prison is a precursor to the eternal punishment one may face in Tartarus. He took the job over from the fearsome giant Geryon (whose rule brought into the open many controversies- including inmate abuse & corrupt officers).
The prison is situated on a volcanic island mass near Tartarus Bay, the Lightning Harbor some 200 miles away. The inmates are confined for the most part of the day in single cells with facilities made of poured, reinforced magma to deter self-harm, and are under 24-hour supervision- carried out intensively with high staff-inmate ratios.
He oversees the prison with an iron fist, expecting nothing short of any weakness from the correctional officers and all the other employees. One employee Ponos has taken under his wing is a young CO, a cyclops named Ionas.
Even though Ponos is a supporter of prison reform, he doesn't expect to grant dangerous criminals certain privileges. At a council meeting, he struck down a potential bill brought up by Philotes (goddess of sex, friendship, & affection)- which would grant conjugal visits to married inmates.
His favorite dessert are the oatmeal chocolate chip cookies from Hollyhock's Bakery.
Though he finds it difficult to be vulnerable, Ponos truly cares for his younger brother, taking on the mantle as his protector. Often times his bleak pessimism would clash with his brother's idealistic optimism.
In the pantheon he's friends with Anytos (Titan god of anonymity & secrets), Draco (god of dragons), Lelantos (Lantos) (Titan god of air, the unseen, & hunting), Ktesios (god of the household), Menoetius (Titan god of rage, violence, & rash actions), Alastor (god of blood feuds & vengeance), Homadus (god of the battle-din), Axiótimos (god of honor), Polemos (god of the war cry), Horkos (god of oaths), Psionikós (god of the mind), and Isorropía (Isorro) (god of duality, balance, & equilibrium). Ponos also has a working relationship with Poena (goddess of punishment).
Ponos' official mentor was Hecaterus (Titan god of manual labor).
He dislikes Epimetheus (Titan god of afterthought).
It's no surprise beacuse of his demanding schedule, there was little space in Ponos' life for romance. He has taken up use of an exclusive escort service at times. No one in the pantheon was more flabbergasted than him when he found himself powerless against the enchantment of Argía (goddess of holidays). Everything in Ponos' body was telling him to run the other way, but he found himself unable to pull away from her magnetism. A major avoidant of prolonged eye contact, he finds it hard to look away from her sparkling gold flecked blue-green eyes. Ponos likes the fact that she always smells different, how engrossing their conversations are, & how he's left in a breathless heap every time they kiss. They haven't slept together yet and Ponos is thinking about inviting her to Macedonia for a long weekend.
He loves getting the roast beef sandwich (on rye bread with extra mustard) from The Bread Box.
His favorite dish is moussaka served alongside grilled fish.
In his free time Ponos enjoys boxing, martial arts, rock climbing, reading, chess, basketball, checkers, jogging, playing pool, football (soccer), bowling, swimming, and baseball.
"Chop your own wood and it will warm you twice."

So this is the finalized version of Harpy!Strawberry Tart Cookie. Like this a lot better, now it's also canon that one of ST's ingredients was a Great horned owl feather. She'll occasionally hoot when relaxed but denies she does this. Then it happens more as she gets angrier.
Some choilds on a walk, love the spider lily brush tool I downloaded lol.

This cross-quarter fire festival is celebrated on August 1st or the first full moon of Leo & the seventh sabbat of the year. It represents the first harvest when the Earth's bounty is given for the abundance received.
Some believe this is the time where the God has weakened & is losing his strength as seen in the waning of the day's light. The Goddess is pregnant with the young God who will be born on Yule.
In some traditions, this day honors the Celt god Lugh, the god of craftsmanship; He is skilled in many things including wheel making, blacksmithing & fighting. Though there is some discrepancy as to why Lugh is honored on this day. Some tales say it's because he held a harvest faire in honor of his adoptive mother, Tailtiu.

Character Intro: Pistis (Kingdom of Ichor)
Nicknames- The Reliable Miss by the people of Olympius
Age- 31 (immortal)
Location- Thessaloniki, Olympius
Personality- She's respectful of herself & others (especially those she dislikes) and she takes her values very seriously. She's honest, consistent, & resourceful. She's single.
She has the standard abilities of a goddess except shapeshifting. As the goddess of trust, reliability, & good faith, her other powers/abilities include invisibilty, having an innate sense to when people are lying, and being able to manipulate the feelings of trust and loyalty in a person or group of people temporarily.
Pistis lives in the state of Thessaloniki in a newly refurbished Classical home built out of marble with ivory inlay. The interior design is the perfect mixture of minimalist and contemporary with neutral tones for colors. Most of the flooring (except the kitchen & bathrooms) are covered in beige carpeting (made from chenille fabric). She has one pet- a she-dragon named Òrinda whose breathtaking pale silvery violet scales is often complimented on. Pistis also owns a vehicle, a sleek silver car. Because she lives so far away from her job, Òrinda is usually her mode of transportation.
Some of her favorite drinks include coconut water, aloe vera juice, ginger ale, non alcoholic piña colada smoothies, white wine, horchata, classic martinis, & her all time favorite- the vanilla martini. Her usuals at The Roasted Bean is a cafe au lait or a large pineapple-lychee splash.
For work Pistis is an advisor and assistant to the goddess Praxidike (goddess of judicial punishment); who's also a judge on the Grand Olympian Court. The general responsibilties is that she handles the daily hectic schedule of the goddess. She has a front row seat to how the court actually works & how the justices handles the cases they recieve. Pistis also has access to criminal records. Because she works in New Olympus, she'll often stay at The Grand Eaglepoint Hotel.
Her absolute favorite dessert are the vanilla-white chocolate macarons from Hollyhock's Bakery. She also likes vanilla bean pots de creme, madeleines, sugar cookies, ladyfingers (which she likes to eat with vanilla ice cream), and a dessert sandwich she likes making with two slices of french toast, marshamallow creme, caramel sauce, and then is dusted with powdered sugar.
She likes to keep her nails short, neat, & french manicured.
There's this vanilla scented perfume from Olmorfia that she loves wearing.
Pistis is the younger sister to Aletheia (goddess of truth), who's also a justice of the Grand Olympian Court. They're not speaking to each other presently. Their relationship became strained after Aletheia chose her best friend Sophrosyne (goddess of moderation, temperance, & restraint) over Pistis to be her maid of honor. Pistis ended up not attending the wedding and she has still not gotten over the slight. Her relationship with her brother-in-law Nomos (god of laws) is okay, but she finds it annoying when he meddles into her relationship with her sister.
In the pantheon her best friend is Eusebeia (goddess of piety, loyalty, duty, & filial respect). She's a loyal friend through and through. They text and call each other daily & hang out whenver they can. Pistis also helped paint Bea's place!
Aside from Praxidike, she's also good friends with her younger sister Amphictyonis (Amy) (goddess of diplomacy), Eudaimonia (goddess of happiness), Leto (Titaness of demurity & motherhood), Peitharchia (goddess of obedience & discipline), Eunostos (goddess of the flour mill), Promylaia, Favian (god of philosophy), Dimósia (goddess of debate), The Litae, Sophia (goddess of thought), Eikono (goddess of iconography & literature), and Philotes (goddess of sex, friendship, & affection).
Pistis is also a member of the esteemed book club of Mnemosyne (Titaness of memory & language).
She dislikes Dolos (god of deception & treachery) as well Apate (goddess of fraud & deception), Kakia (goddess of vice & moral wrongdoing), Hybris (goddess of insolence, hubris, & reckless pride), and Dyssebeia (goddess of ungodliness & impiety).
For other means of income Pistis is a contributing writer for The Oracle newspaper and O Dianooumenos. She also endorses/models for Glory's Crown (loves the black vanilla products), Olive Visibly, Momentum, Olmorfia, & Euryphaessa.
She likes the grilled chicken sandwich with a mediterranean salad (with extra cilantro lime dressing) from The Bread Box.
Pistis isn't actively seeking out a relationship. She's not opposed to being in one, but feels that the pool for eligible suitors for a goddess is about as deep as a puddle.
Her favorite flowers are white freesias!
She was gifted with a simple Diamond Ave. crystal embellished clutch from Praxidike. As a birthday gift, Bea gave her a white gold key charm necklace.
In her free time she loves riding on dragonback! She also enjoys reading, yoga, cooking, swimming, baking, doing needle work, pottery, going to the opera & museum, and tennis.
Some of her favorite meals that she cooks include tostones with salsa verde, caldo santo, arroz junto (extra spicy!), and ladenia.
"A broken trust is never wholly repaired."
