i need to think more about my hollyleaf au. there are so many fun hcs that ive thought of that i can literally make whatever tf i want
this was supposed to be a thought post but it turned into a hollyleaf ramble. enjoy .
holly has reflective time travel powers; though she cant alter anything. its essentially just being a ghost in another time period than the present. need to think more about How they work, whether it manifests as dreams or waking visions or if its a will sort of thing
yellowfang plays a significant role in her powers; a sort of guide almost though there is resentment. i feel spottedleaf and yellowfang juxtapose eachother, spottedleaf is definitely a sisterly (not motherly. sry. yellowfang is the mom) figure to hollyleaf. they can relate to one another regarding their relationships with starclan but better yet, spottedleaf is gentle and patient.
a less thought out plotpoint is fallen leaves and flametail. unsure if flametail is a reincarnation of sorts or if the two were sort of merged upon flametails death. i need to reread hollyleafs novella and solidify my opinion on fallen leaves but whatever it is i Know fallen leaves and hollyleaf are not romantic; if anything its trauma response attachment . whether or not i keep fallen leaves and his stuff as is, flametail will be relevant. ive thought before of him having involvement with the dark forest, if he has shit with fallen leaves i imagine he "made a deal with the devil" (haha kitty cat satan hawkfrost) in order to be granted some sort of resting place other than the tunnels. this brings him to hollyleaf (whetehr this is related to his jayfeather resentment im not sure) who hes been ordered to recruit. its possible that hollyleaf accepts (—> dark forest trainee under a false identity —> meets ivypaw —> bond forms —> neither of them are evil —> ivy is unaware who she is until she returns for the great battle).
lots of trains of thought but sol could also pose as a dark forest recruiter, he failed to persuade hollyleaf however. the difference is in their tactics; flametail provides emotional connection whereas sol offers power. hollyleaf values one over the other
hollyleaf is very aroace to me . shes experienced crushes and genuine love but nothing that could reach her. willowpaw/shine was her first attachment when she first wanted to be a medicine cat, when she still held such faith in the code. it was moreso an admiration/longing than anything but cinderheart? cinderheart grew up with her, there was always something there though neither of them ever got the chance to directly address it. they both knew, and they knew eachother knew but there was a sort of solace about that silent understanding and connection. it was nice. but with hollyleaf gone cinderhearts only option was to keep going, something hollyleaf had seemingly already done herself
hollyleaf and cinderpelt are very close in starclan. cinderpelt knows hollyleaf better than she would've guessed after all that time living through cinderhearts experiences. she feels for hollyleaf, and shes there whenever hollyleaf is ready to reflect. after some time hollyleaf has begun to know cinderpelt in return and the two form their own bond. cinderpelt helps hollyleaf reach cinderheart when the time comes and the two reconnect often in her dreams.
theres more trust me. leaf and squilf are so so so significant but i cant verbalize that right now. thsi wasnt even supposed to be a Post post it was just one sentence at first.. i will go more into depth with lionblaze and jayfeather as well when the time comes

ok im gonna talk about my version of the Hollyleaf 'One of the Three/The Fourth Cat AU' (title is a wip im unsure which is more correct)
She's a reincarnation of Shadowstar, her warrior name is still Hollyleaf but it was a request, you'll see why Her power is the ability to know if a cat is lying to her, so she's always known that Squirrelflight and Brambleclaw aren't her parents.
Through a lot of hard work and studying her parents and the cats close to them she realized that Bramblestar thought he was her dad, and it was her guess that Leafpool was her mother.
She named herself Hollyleaf as a sort of "I know, please stop lying at least to me" but they didn't. and everything pretty much follows canon because shes upset about them lying, not only to her and her brothers but to Brambleclaw.
Hollyleaf, as a rule, doesn't lie. She may skirt around the truth or omit truth but she doesn't lie, it turns her stomach and makes her feel ill. And she thinks about her mother when she lies.

Artificial Phoenix movie changes
*cracks knuckles* Okay I said I would do this for at least one curious reader, so here we go. I'll eventually drop it under a cut because it is gonna get long haha, if you guys want me to expand on any of these details just let me know !
The opening to the movie is more or less the same, though Leonardo's mistake is less from sheer arrogance and more in eagerness to use his mystic powers. Training with Draxum has proved fruitful, and Leo's just a bit too excited with how good he's getting with his abilities lately.
When they end up with Casey Jr. in their lair, they don't really believe he's from the future until they end up finding the memory locket on his person. Casey tells them he got it from Master Michelangelo, and Mikey and Draxum know it has to be the same locket though the image inside it is different.
There is also a funny add on to this happening in the background where Sho, upon seeing Casey, congratulates Splinter on his grandson. Splinter wants to know where he got that idea, and Atsuko mentions the pair of them do share a lot of features. If this was being animated Splinter would look at her, next to Casey, with a similar expression on his face as the kid and say "I don't see it"
When Casey mentioned the Kraang, both Draxum and Karai recognize the name. April also realizes that's the same things as the creature she found among the empyrean.
The attempt to get the key back also goes just about the same, though Leonardo's desperation to recover it is more out of fear of something else too powerful for them to handle getting into the city and taking something else away from them. But of course, in his attempts to stop that from happening, Raph gets kidnapped.
Donnie's decision to even make all those escape pods also had to do with him wanting to give them an out in case things got too dangerous (and it still only worked so well).
Everyone is desperate to get Raph back, so the boys all go to do this while Draxum, Karai, April and Cassandra all try to find a way to destroy the key. This time it's not just Leo that causes the run through the subway to go to hell. (Leo is constantly asking his grandmother if Raph is still alive).
Casey Jr. has to give all of them a lecture, and is shocked they're even acting like this when Donnie is the one who harshly reminds the kid they aren't their future selves, but they still understand his point and try to collect their feelings so they can save Raph with a more level head.
Also for the record, Casey has met Cassandra during this film, but he has chosen not to reveal how he knows her or why her image is the one coming from his locket (along with another figure who's far too blurry to make out). Cassandra is determined to find out the answer when this ordeal is over.
Raph still gets possessed by the kraang.
Cassandra and Karai are both part of the ground squad, trying to get Casey Jr. to the key so they can close the portal.
The events to seal the kraang are more or less the same, and while Draxum will deny breaking down in front of April, Karai and Cassandra when Leo is trapped on the other side of the portal, April may mention it to Leo later anyway.
Speaking of breakdowns no one is having a good time for the record, but Atsuko tells Mikey that Leo is still alive, and he's not going to give up.
Meanwhile in the prison dimension, Leo is about to give up, but then an incoming hit never connects, because his father's spirit appeared (I have been tempted to write this scene up at the very least).
Get the shit kicked out of you by a ghost Kraang leader.
Well, not that hard, just enough to keep him busy while Leo makes a run for it and eventually reaches Mikey's portal.
Draxum does not stop pestering the boys for weeks while they recover, and when Leo starts calling him Dad on purpose he pretends he's been doing it all this time.
Cassandra eventually gets the truth from Casey, but Mikey's still curious about why Casey's locket plays the same song that his does (Casey isn't sure why)
Uuuuh I think that's about it ! Let me know if you have further questions

So let’s get this straight:
Carmen Cuba is a casting goddess who puts so much thought and effort into her choices…
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
…right up until the casting says something we don’t want to consider. Then, it’s just some extra pulled from god knows where with next to no consideration put into it.
Ok. Sounds believable. Makes sense to me!

I am strong believer that Fernsong, Sorrelstripe and Hollytuft were supposed to be the new main characters of AVOS, since it fits better with Hawkwing's Journey timeline, but someone love Bramblestar a little to much I supposed

some postgame picrews of the together in hell kids (they're only postgame because they would NEVER be this happy otherwise)
rosine strom: she loves wearing skirts. and i know that she has blue hair after the game but her green hair looked so much cuter i think
Tumblr media
aluzie decidate: i've been repeating the statement over and over in my head that bygod he needs a break. she gets one after the story is over <3
Tumblr media
wren le: yes his hair dye is hilariously temporary. i'm half-convinced he buys spray dye from the dollar store and reapplies it every few days to keep his mom from getting too angry
Tumblr media
anne hayes: she's probably the least developed out of the main squad but honestly i'd like to say he makes up for it in straight-up coolness. nonetheless i've been working on their character a lot lately.... small town girl trying their fucking BEST to actually be something that'll stand out... is it working?

every lesson forms a new scar
Summary: It's been one week since Lockwood and Lucy threw their lot in with Penelope Fittes and left their friends behind. Portland Row hasn't been the same.
Fandom: Lockwood & Co (book spoilers)
(This is a prequel to Jenna Talbot's dark timeline fic, yesterday we were just children.)
In the aftermath of their visit to the Other Side, Holly tried not to blame Lucy too much. Everyone else felt so betrayed, she knew being the rational one would have to fall to her. Again.
She thought she understood, that was the thing. More than Kipps, more than Flo, even more than George, who by all rights knew Lucy and Lockwood the best.
Lucy’s talent was always too big for her. They’d only spent a scant few months as actual friends, once all their petty grievances were swept under the rug in the aftermath of Aickmere’s, but Lucy confided in Holly during late night sleepovers in a way she knew the girl just didn’t with the boys. Lucy needed guidance. None of them were powerful or experienced enough to give it to her.
