Fayz here with unfortunate news.

Hi, Fayz here. You might know me from drawings like these.

The bad news is that I have lost my art blog. I have had it for nearly a decade, and one accidental click and it's deleted forever. (I had meant to delete a sideblog I wasn't using anymore. I didn't realize it would nuke ALL my blogs.)

So I guess there's nothing to do but start over from scratch. I am going to tag this with some of the fandoms I was in, in the hopes of spreading the word to people who would otherwise wonder where id gone. I would like to ask people to reblog this, so as many of my old followers can see this as possible.

All my posts are perma deleted. They only exist in reblogs now, not even in the tags. I suppose I could repost my personal favorites. That would take a long while, but it is possible (thank god I keep all my files on my computer. Plus i might be able to use the internet archive to salvage it.)

Still, I'm mourning the digital testament to the friendships I made on here. Nothing to do but rebuild it, i suppose.

EDIT: thank goodness for small fandoms! I have been looking through peoples blogs, and I managed to find a lot of old drawings. I'll reblog them, so that I don't lose the nice comments and tags (plus i enjoy having the original posts on here, even just as a reblog). I'll repost my favorite drawings too, so it shows up in the tags again, but this is what I'll do first.

borrowing tips 101 💋

6 life saving borrowing tips so that you are guaranteed to get what you want everytime without getting caught! 🫧

1. ALWAYS go with someone - if you go on your own you automatically draw more attention to yourself and having another person there can be more comforting+you can help eachother (remember only do this if you know for sure the person if comfortable with it NEVER borrow when your with someone without consent because they could get into trouble along with you)

2. Stay calm - speaking from experience, if you are constantly looking at security guards and acting suspicious you WILL get caught. It’s all about mindset walk out as you usually would but don’t be too obvious.

3. For beginners - if you are a beginner start off stealing small things for example, candy, cheap lipglosses, charms etc. Trust me it will build more skill and if you get caught the worst they would do is kick you out.

4. Go when it’s busy but not too busy! - when it’s busy there are barely any workers and so many people it’s hard for them to keep up. If somebody who isn’t a worker sees you it’s an 80% chance they won’t snitch, most likely if they are 10-20 ish years old they won’t but older people tend to snitch more often so be careful!

5. Check tags - if the store you are going into has no sensors most likely the security tags won’t matter at all with barcodes you can leave almost any store because they don’t go off but with some items they hide the tag inside of the box so be careful and check before lifting!

6. The most important step, don’t overthink it - when lifting just see what you like and take it, if you like you can check over everything after but do not linger or you will get caught! If you decide you don’t want something anymore still leave with it taking and putting it back is very risky and could get you into trouble just have an “I see it, I like it, I want it , I got it “ mindset.

what to wear:

jeans with leggings underneath (so things won’t fall out or shove small things in your waistband

bring a bag (not a huge tote bag it’s obvious more like a tote bag or if your in a mall/ shopping area bring a bag from another store (buy something small) to make it look like your just going on a spree

(for female lifters) I recommend push up bras with a crop/low neck top so that it’s easier to shove things in (and the store can’t legally search you if you get caught)

I recommend going to mini stores from a large chain because half of the time they have a scrawny security guard with 1 to 2 workers there and they won’t be able to stop you

She's one of those girls who is in denial. She pretends to have a crush on a boy, because every other girl likes boys, so she feels like she has to so she fits in

You know how sometimes boys will be mean to girls they like? That's what she does. Since she can't outright date girls. She also hates the way you make her feel and she blames you for making her feel different

She saw you at a cafe once and decides to approach you

She pretends she's annoyed by your presence and makes you buy her a dessert

She starts talking to you, even though you were kind of hoping buying the dessert would be the end of your transaction, but still keeps the talk short and makes sure you don't think she likes you or something

children tease in absolute truth, spit in the face of social mores and structure. they don’t care to censor their beliefs, say precisely what they see. it’s no wonder selina knows how to be around children far more than adults.

that’s putting it mildly. holly’s pick-up list ranges from batwoman to waylon jones aka killer croc (but not if you ask her, she won’t besmirch waylon like that). it’s a wild series of bullet points to take in on a page but selina has raised her with all the love she can give. and sometimes that comes from weird places

she gently leans her chin on the other’s shoulder, precariously tipping like a children’s toy. but she never so much as twitches.

Honestly I love drawing Lani so much at this point, developing her story and her relationships and how other characters in her story are important. Tho I’d be lying if I didn’t say her and Miguel are definitely Enemies to Lovers type shit

But it’s more like the typical “Black Cat gets fascinated by Spider-Man” trope so take that how you will. Lani isn’t exactly like most Black Cats. She’s actually meant to be Lilly Hollister but if instead she was Felicity Hardy’s daughter instead of some completely other person. I figured well hell, why not mix the two for Lani since her mother was the original and she’s just meant to keep her legacy going. Lani only really doesn’t like Miguel because he gets in the way of her and Marlyn’s plans but Marlyns more open to making an alliance than she is. Her reason is just that she feels as long as she can do it, there’s no reason it shouldn’t work out. More so because of her Bad Luck power as well. But nonetheless she does her best to be a good teammate.

Open letter to a 34 yr old tiktoker who makes all her content about "millennial nostalgia" and videos where she throws up items currently for sale at big box clothing retailers to talk about how "gen z doesn't even know" or something:

Does this make you feel like you are growing? In high school did you have an interest that you were afraid to talk to your friends about? Maybe you liked helping your mother in her garden? Maybe your grandpa was a mechanic who taught you how to deconstruct a tractor engine? Maybe you liked to crochet? Did you follow the wnba? Maybe you know a lot about beetles? Did you hang out with the emo kids sometimes? Did you wish you had the guts to dye your hair black? Were emo kids bullied at your school? You seem nice, i cant imagine you were a bulIy. Did you know anyone who was?

I only see you on the internet when the algorithm deems it necessary, and from what i see, you listened to music in the top 40, wore clothes from abercrombie and hollister, and went to parties. These are all good things to do! Im happy you did them! But now you are in your thirties. And you clearly devote a lot of time and effort to making videos about the most universally-relatable (american) pop culture experiences from your youth, and i can only see the barest whisps of particularity enter your storytelling. The culture of the 2000s and 2010s was centered very completely on youth, it did not offer images of adulthood to us other than perhaps sex and the city. Now that you can no longer embody adolescence, who are you? What happens in your mind, other than nostalgia. Do you practice a religion? Do you do yoga? Have you read about the history of yoga? What movies do you watch. Do you enjoy drawing or mathematics? Why is it important to you for younger people to understand that you wore gaucho panta in 2007? Do you walk in the woods or on city streets? Do you bake cookies? Can you build a campfire? How many neighborhoods do you know by heart? What do you feel when you look out at the large body of whater nearest your home? What do you do now that you did as a teenager? That you did as a child? Are you satisfied?

This new part of the Eden arc is probably the most entertaining bar none for me in that it inspires me to draw dumb crap. Character is about to lose a hand? He's now coping by taking on a pirate persona and going all in as a consequence of the stress snapping his mind like a pretzel stick. Maybe I'll draw a Greyhook versus Hollister image sometime.

Tag 9 People You Want to get to Know Better

First off I want to say thanks to @hollister-mc for tagging me in this. It means a lot to know that somebody thought of me if only briefly. With that said, here are some little tidbits about me I suppose.

Currently Reading: Aristotle's Ethics... It's for school. Honestly not the worst book, in fact it is rather informative, but I am more fond of fanfiction and online novels.

Favorite Color: Blue, black, and the odd red are my favorites. (no it is not because Optimus is in those colors) I tend to look better wearing dark shades of all those colors so they sit in my number 1, 2, and 3 favorite color spots respectively.

Last Song: Arrival to Earth Remix from the 2007 Transformers movie. It's part of my favorite writing playlist and always gets me inspired.

Last Movie: Uh, does a documentary count? If so I last watched Dynasties (voiced my David Attenborough of course), more specifically the part focused on the lions. But if we aren't talking about documentaries then the last movie I watched was A Dogs Purpose. It made me cry.

Sweet/Spicy/Savory: Generally I prefer savory foods. Nothing can beat the savory. And while sweets are nice, I have a very low sugar tolerance.

Currently Working on: Outside of school, I am working on some tarot cards for a friend, a drawing of Trazyn the Infinite for my dad, and my current fanfiction. (also posts for Tumblr but those don't count).
