"Your Highness," Tomoya's voice echoed throughout the office, desperately trying to coax Hokuto out of his usual daydreaming stance. This has been happening for atleast a week, and It's starting to concern the light brown haired assistant.

"Your Highness!" Raising his voice, Hokuto finally snapped out of his trance and went back to working on the mountain of paperworks. He groaned, struggling to stay focused.

"Apologies." Hokuto clears his throat, gripping on the pen diligently again. His feet tapping the floor impatiently, a tint of irritation began to rise inside of Tomoya. There's clearly something troubling him, but he refuses to share it as always.

"Pardon my rudeness, Your Highness. But I notice that you haven't been exactly focused on doing your duties. Is something the matter?" Tomoya looked at him with determination, the assistant looked eager to help and listen to all of his Prince's problems as usual.

Hokuto contemplated for a moment, before his face turned a light shade of red. Tomoya held back a chuckle, thinking that the usual cold prince looked cute in a split second there. Tomoya mentally scolded himself for his improper thoughts. "Care to tell me? I assure you my assistance as always."

"... Promise to not laugh?" Tomoya was on the verge of laughing already, seeing how flustered the prince is. But he'd rather not get himself beheaded. "I won't dare to laugh at my dear prince's mind."

"You see... The princess is going to visit." Tomoya's brain clicked with an'oh.'

"So? Your concern is...?" Tomoya kept a polite smile on his face, not wanting to embarrass the foolishly in love prince.

"I haven't prepared anything in advance," his voice came with an urgency. "These clothes are old. I've been working for 4 hours straight, I must've looked... Less decent."

Tomoya stood behind his back, patting his shoulders. "You look as handsome as the day she fell in love with you, my prince!" Hokuto's shoulder slumped, hearing Tomoya's reassurance. "Worry not, Her Highness must be happy to meet you under any circumstances."

"Thanks, Tomoya." Hokuto shoot him a warm smile. Tomoya swore he would actually get on one knees for Hokuto if he was a girl.

So, he waited anxiously. Waiting for his beloved princess' arrival. He always turned into an anxious mess upon meeting her, not wanting to form any mistakes.

"Your Highness, the princess is here!" Hokuto practically bolted outside hearing the announcement. He was grinning ear to ear, running with a speed he didn't know he could achieve.

His heart beats even more, approaching the carriage slowly. He stood in front of it, waiting for her.

As if the sun emerges after the rain, her reckless attitude made her jump straight into his arms. "Hokuto!" She exclaimed, not bothering that they might fall. But of course, Hokuto was strong enough to maintain their stance after such an adorable and hasty greeting.

"H-Hello, darling." He stuttered, which was unlike him who always practiced on how to appear dignified. He was the prince, afterall.

But in front of her, he was just a loverboy.

"We should head inside." He lowered her to the ground, maintaining his reserved nature. She just laughed, wrapping her arms around his. Isn't she clingy today?

Hokuto took her to the palace's greenhouse, a perfect, private spot for the two lovers who needs quality time.

"Pink roses!" She exclaimed, captivated by the beauty of the flora planted all over the area. Hokuto ordered the gardeners to do so a while ago, since he knew it was her favorite. And he wanted to give her a little surprise for her next visit.

"Your favorite, darling." She was admiring the roses, but his eyes was locked on her. His rose.

"How did you know?"

"You also like strawberry parfait, calico cats, and pancake with half tablespoon of maple syrup." He said confidently, listing all of the things she liked.

"You forgot one thing." A smirk appeared on her face, inching closer.

"Ah, really? How careless of me."

"I also really like you."

He held out a laugh at her cute attempt to flirt. She puffed her cheeks, "Hey, what's so funny?!"

He couldn't hold it back anymore, he started to let out a laugh he never did in front of the others. In front of eyes that aren't his beloved's.

She was struck. He rarely ever showed his emotions, and she felt giddy, knowing that she was the one who caused it.

"Don't ever smile again, or laugh."

"Haha.. what, is it weird?"

"No. But others might fall for you like that."

He sat on the railing, taking her hands in his and closing the distance between them. He kissed the back of her knuckles, his lips lingering there longer than it should.

"Only you get to see this, my beloved."

He pulled her into his lap in one swift motion, making her yelp. "Hokuto!"

"So, can this prince demand something only you can give?" His gloved thumb running over her lower lip, his gaze lowered, turning her stomach into a whirlwind.

"You may."

And Hokuto swore, there were more pink roses blooming inside his heart than the ones planted in the garden.

Some design notes for my Enstars Steven Universe AU! I have basic lore info and this post is dedicated to Trickstar! These sketches are like. super unfinished but I hope this is an interesting read! Info under cut🩷

There is a really far away planet that exists somewhere within the Andromeda galaxy called Axia. It is the only planet in the system known to harbor intelligent “life”. These beings are known as Entizians, each possessing a gemstone from Earth as their crest. Each crest contains a different power, and no Entizian is the same. The council overseeing the Entizians are the Celestials; beings with immense power over their jewels that represent a certain concept for the hierarchy

Eichi is, of course, at the top of the hierarchy, representing Eternity. His jewel is the Diamond

Keito is his second in command, representing the concept of Authority. His jewel is the Emerald

Tsumugi is one of Eichi’s closest allies and represents the concept of Diplomacy. His jewel is the Sapphire

And the more rebellious of the Celestials is Rei, who represents the concept of Imagination. His jewel is the Obsidian.

These four represent an overarching rule above Entizian society, and their power is absolute

Rei, for context, is more in tune with the other Entizians, able to recognize their potential and he treats them as equals, even growing close to his “true family”, who are the other Five Eccentrics

One day, however, as the Celestials were overseeing the boundaries of their galaxy, they spot the Milky Way galaxy, and concerned over potential threats, they send several fleets of their advanced technology to scour the Milky Way for signs of life.

Eventually, they find Earth, which DOES harbor intelligent life. Considering options as to how to deal with a possible threat, they send Rei to the planet to do some investigating. While he is there, Eichi, Keito, and Tsumugi come together - knowing Rei’s rebellious nature - and decide to destroy Earth no matter what the outcome is

Rei, meanwhile, is on Earth, and he realizes the planet also harbors natural life that has not remained untouched and preserved. Mind you, this is about 2000 years before the story actually takes place, so our protagonist doesn’t exist yet.

Rei is fascinated by Earth, so when he arrives back on his home planet, he tells the other Eccentrics about what he saw. They too become fascinated, and now there are rumors spreading around the planet (called Axia) about the strange new world

Sensing the danger this could pose, Eichi and the other Celestials unveil their plan to destroy Earth, despite Rei’s information, which greatly angers the latter. He believes that the planet is worth saving, no matter what forms of life inhabit it. The Eccentrics and many others agree that Earth should be saved, but the Celestials forbade any contact with the planet to stop the revolution. Rei, however, doesn’t wish to back down. So he gathers the Entizians that want to save Earth, and they engage in a long, arduous war against the Celestials. Rei enlists his fellow Eccentrics as his generals, and together, they’re able to drive back several platoons of Entizians that loyally served the Celestials

Seeing as it was a losing battle, Eichi, Keito, and Tsumugi decide to simply destroy Earth and the army with their combined strength. Rei, knowing that his rebellion would never be able to hold off a threat so large, decides to sacrifice himself. He gives up his physical form and leaves his jewel to the resistance, who now inhabit Earth. Rei’s “death” basically marked the end of the Celestials impending reign of terror on Earth, but in doing so, drove Axia into an era of great suffering, as they had lost so many of their kind whilst battling each other. Eichi seals himself away, while Keito and Tsumugi desperately search for Rei’s replacement, eventually settling on Tori.

Now, on Earth, the rebellion (who I’ll call the Shards of Creation) live peacefully amongst humans for several thousands of years.

Now, enter Anzu, who encounters 4 Entizians; Subaru, Hokuto, Makoto, and Mao. Subaru’s jewel is Citrine, Makoto’s is Peridot, Hokuto’s is Azurite, and Mao’s is Tourmaline. She noticed they’re not really human and discovers that they’re aliens, essentially.

Timeline of Events

- Approx. 8000 B.C.E; Rei is created, and the planet Axia has seen it’s first “life form”

- Approx. 7990 B.C.E; Eichi, Tsumugi, and Keito come into existence

- Approx. 7500 B.C.E; the Celestial Jewels are established, and the first Entizians start to emerge

- Approx. 5000 B.C.E; First batch of high status Entizians (Third Years) are created

- Approx. 2000 B.C.E; Second batch of high status Entizians (Second Years) are created

- Approx. 1005 B.C.E; Shards of Rebellion are formed

- Approx. 1000 B.C.E; The War for Earth commences, lasting 100 years

- Approx. 900 B.C.E; War for Earth ends. Countless lives are lost/fragmented, and Rei gives up his physical amalgamation to save the planet

- Approx. 880 B.C.E; The Shards of Rebellion are disbanded, and scatter across the planet

- Approx. 0 A.D; Restoration of the planet Earth and Axia is started; leftover Jewels are scavenged and placed in incubators to create new Entizians from Earth, without draining any materials from the land

- Approx. 500 A.D; Axia manages to relocate Earth on their star maps and prepares an assault plan for the future.

- Approx. 1000 A.D; after 1000 years, the youngest batch of Entizians (First Years) fully incubate properly, giving all of them physical forms and names.

- 2005; Anzu is born from her mother and father.

- 2024; Anzu locates Rei’s Jewel, and it attaches itself to her upper chest, rendering her the bearer of the Celestial Obsidian. Anzu meets Hokuto, Mao, Subaru, and Makoto

kamo sakuya || kamo senri onoue (zenin) anzu || inumaki aiichiro gojo nagisa || gojo hokuto

sakuya is one of a pair of twins born to the kamo clan a year before gojo's own birth. even as a child, he displayed obvious signs that he had inherited the clan's technique of blood manipulation. this coupled with his mastery of reverse cursed technique at a young age greatly reduced the limiting factor of the family technique, allowing him to develop his own offensive and defensive uses of it and truly make the technique his own; not simply a tool he happened to be given by the family.

he was hailed as the up-and-coming head of the clan and promised to a child of the gojo clan in both of their youth. though he was a frail thing in his younger years, when he and his twin attended kyoto jujutsu high he developed a love for strategy and battle that suited his stubbornness and capacity for staying positive in the face of what others would consider certain defeat. in the present, he acts as the clan head, doing his best to efficiently take care of his duties and responsibilities so he can spend his time off with one or both of his husbands.

senri is sakuya's twin, and while he inherited the clan technique, she was born with no cursed energy whatsoever, not even possessing the ability to see curses. with her heavenly restriction, senri has advanced senses and reflexes, including a highly refined danger sense that allows her to not even need to see curses and makes her a beast in combat; after years of training, she is even able to control how sharp each sense is at any given time, such as holding back her strength or dulling her senses on purpose in order to interact with the outside world without it overwhelming her.

she refuses to tolerate anyone talking down to her or her brother, and she is not afraid to goad people when she knows the situation will ultimately shake out in her favor. even as a child, she had a knack for reading people's emotions, a talent she used to embarrass the adults in her life a lot. she and her brother are each the other's keeper, and so long as he has any say in the matter she will always have a place in the family. like her brother, she is very stubborn, a trait that has served her well over the years and made her unshakeable in the face of those who deride her presence in the sorcerer world.

anzu was born outside the zenin clan, and in fact outside the jujutsu world altogether. her mother left the clan at a young age and took up freelance work as a sorcerer, eventually meeting and falling in love with a fashion designer. although she has no connection to the zenin (who were told she had no cursed energy or potential whatsoever upon her birth), her other mother's side of the family is quite large and very well-off, and they all adore her dearly. she was afforded every opportunity as she grew up on one of the family's many estates, learning physical and jujutsu combat from her zenin mother and being tutored by her other mother in non-sorcerer areas of study.

a true prodigy from birth, her technique manifested when she was only four years old: shadow manipulation and the ability to summon shikigami. with her access to private tutors and the expertise of her mother, she flourished. she speaks at least three languages apart from japanese and japanese sign language, and is working towards degrees in business and textile sciences. when she was around ten, the estate was visited by a white-haired man who was unbothered by her mother's blade at his throat, and claimed he only wanted to help them. in the present, anzu is intermittently visited by one satoru gojo (sometimes accompanied by one or both of his husbands) for additional jujutsu training, and she looks forward to the day when she'll be able to leave the estate for extended periods of time.

aiichiro is a little over a year younger than toge, and although they aren't actually siblings (rather they're cousins) he still views him as a big brother figure and someone he holds up as the exact sort of sorcerer he wants to be. he has the snake eyes and fangs inscribed on his cheeks and tongue in white rather than the black marks toge bears, and as a child he followed the other boy everywhere he went, always copying him or begging to get clothes/food/other things that were just like his. the two were almost inseparable, and the entire family assumed they would both become accomplished sorcerers.

as he grew, aiichiro developed a stutter, and this coupled with his generally shy and withdrawn nature, and his appreciation of things most others found distasteful (bugs, "pest" animals, and death) made him the target of severe bullying at the hands of other children. because of this, he spoke less and less as he grew older, wearing a mask to hide his cursed speech markings and writing most of the time; only using sign to communicate with people he trusted and felt comfortable around. in the present, he is working privately with two members of tokyo jujutsu high's staff to catch up to toge and the others, refining his technique and trying to find a reliable method of strengthening his vocal cords.

nagisa is a gojo who obviously inherited both of the clan's techniques from birth, surviving assassination attempt after assassination attempt as she grew up with very few protections provided to her. the attacks on her life forced her to grow quickly, and she developed a paranoid streak that - while inconvenient for those around her - kept her alive. she spent more time as a special grade than she did as a non-special grade, and as a result of her experiences she is curt and fatalistic when it comes to the world around her. she survives on a steady diet of coffee and one to two meals per day, and is very frugal with her money despite her family's status.

her decision to have a child was born out of a desire for someone she could trust, something that would be hers and not belong to the clans or the higher-ups of the sorcerer world. when it appeared her child had inherited no technique at all, she didn't mind; the child was special to her simply by coming into the world. she was considered the best and regularly given missions that would have been suicide for anyone else, until one day she failed to return from a routine assignment. in the present, all existence of her has been wiped from the records, with the only remaining sign of her being a redacted report that lists her as missing in action.

hokuto spent their youngest years without a single sign that they had inherited any technique; in fact, many of the clan members assumed they must have had a heavenly restriction. for those who targeted them, it was considered almost a mercy to remove the ungifted child of the gojo family from the world. it was only after a particularly close attempt on their life that they revealed they had in fact inherited both clan techniques, and had been repressing their cursed energy due to the stress simply existing put on their mother's body. they spent their childhood training with their mother, who taught them everything she knew about their family techniques; even sharing things she had kept from every other soul alive and allowing them to bloom into a gifted jujutsu user. she didn't teach them out of a desire for a soldier, but rather because she wanted them to be able to survive anything the world threw at them.

when not training, they spent their time playing in the woods or bothering another child several years older than them - a member of the zenin clan who had been born compltely without cursed energy - much to that child's annoyance. it was only after their mother vanished on a mission that hokuto's attitude of nothing mattering crystallized into an almost malicious noncompliance, and upon graduating they departed from the jujutsu world altogether, severing their ties to it completely. in the present, they spend most of their days using six eyes to cheat at cards and otherwise swindle people out of their money. they have a general disregard for respect towards their elders and have nothing but disdain for their world. simply put, they are a deadbeat sorcerer.
