Yo, correct me if I am wrong please, but didn't Hitler rise to power because he promised to fix the German economy and people really liked that so they looked past everything else he was doing??? Like exactly what's happening in America right now???

So many people said they voted for Trump, put a truly evil person in power, because he said he'd fix the economy, and a little voice in my head is going, "Isn't that what happened with fucking Hitler??"

But I've seen no one point that out so maybe I'm miss remembering???????

If you have ever used the phrase “Scott gave Pearl her win in Double Life” or “Scott let Pearl win” or “Scott also won” or anything that implied Scott had anything to do with Pearl winning Double Life other than blowing himself up I have probably blocked you if I saw it and I’m not sorry. Pearl killed the last two soulmate pairs who weren’t her and Scott. She eliminated the last competitors. He gave her nothing, she won completely on her own merit.

Yeah he blew himself up, but like, she was going to kill him anyways? She was better geared and had a wolf army? I know people probably don’t mean it a way to invalidate her win, but the idea that her “gave her” or “let her” win is complete BS that discredits Pearl’s actual skill. She won by herself fair and square.

TogaChako mermaid fic where Toga is the scary blood-sucking sea creature the locals whisper about. You can identify her by the wide grin she wears, seen only in flashes by fishermen trying to hunt her down.

Ochako is a starry-eyed and curious kid who grew up playing by the water. She's heard the warnings but they don't stop her. When she meets this supposed monster for the first time, all she can think is that it's beautiful, with a shimmering tail, golden eyes, and a smile so large it's blinding. But it's also frail, thin and weak from lack of food.

Ochako who sees Toga with her teeth sunken in a fish, blood running down her chin, tongue lapping it greedily, but is not scared. Toga who is both captivated by Ochako, her softness and her curiosity, but hisses in fear when she steps closer, knowing only hatred and violence from humans.

Ochako who catches her off guard when she stretches out her arm as an offering.

i genuinely think its v sweet how luffy is just genuinely SO excited to see zoro no matter how long they've been apart, even if it was just hours/days. seeing zoro on conomi island. when luffy woke up in alabasta & saw zoro he goes zoro! long time no see! then immediately says out loud to himself 'long time no see.......... why did I say that' (it was three days and luffy was knocked out for most of it). in wano when he goes 'its been forever!!!!!!!!!!!!' (three weeks apart). whenever he sees zoro he immediately calls out his name. not having his first mate by his side is such a constant/comfort that a reunion after even shortest time apart is worth celebrating & acknowledging
