I’ve decided to get a little nostalgic about Bright on this morning after his big company debut party.

My first BL was Trapped and I watched Trapped because of my Knife Gay

And when I was obsessing over this show where the boys actually kissed and the queer was not just subtext, but actual text, I turned of course to tumblr…

I devoured the Trapped tag, I was confused by the fact that Trapped was actually titled History 3 and there appeared to be another History that I also clearly needed to watch and while scrolling the tags I kept coming across this gif.

I could not escape it. It followed me everywhere I went. I even texted my sibling and they responded “that sure is a face”…I did not run to watch the show, it was not even my first Thai BL, but I remember thinking “oh there’s more!”

I found a whole trove, a genre, a place where the boys did in fact kiss…the stories were being told well or not so well, but queer stories were being told and embraced and a community to talk about them with…

Anyway I hope Bright continues happy and successful, I won’t ever forget this Pocky Game he played as Sarawat and his absolute insistence to every interviewer who asked that Sarawat was a gay and not just for Tine.

YES, THESE TWO GOT THE SHORT END OF THE BL STICK. WHEN I FIRST WATCHED I WAS SO ANGRY I HATED THIS SHOW. BUT THIS WAS A QUALITY BL WITH A GREAT MAIN COUPLE THAT GOT A TERRIBLE ENDING.

BUT YOU CAN'T DENY THEIR CHEMISTRY AND A PRETTY DAMN GOOD KISS IN THE SERIES (MULTIPLE TIMES) BUT HERE'S A TASTE OF ONE OF THEM.

OH, HELL TO BE HONEST I WILL NEVER GET OVER WHAT THEY DID TO THIS COUPLE...BUT THANKS FOR CREATING THEM.
