As the season blossoms, I am blessed with a little more time; time that I intend to spend reconnecting and more frequently posting both here and on the blog. I have enjoyed a recent re-emergence on stories & have been doing my best to follow along with your posts. Please send through anything of yours that I've missed 🖤. 🏚 In life outside squares, I moved house, becoming owner (with my love) of a 1750s cottage that instantly feels like home. We left Albert - a large, old Georgian (I believe) house, named for the family-run funeral parlour next door. At one time in history, Albert house was the family home, conveniently connected to the funeral parlour by a door in the garden wall... Albert is a fine gentleman and I will continue to share saved glimpses of his refinery, such as the elaborate shadows his many windows cast. 🏚 I am currently reading 'White is for Witching'; I'm excited to experience the plot unravelling and home awakening. In other reading news, I returned 'The Last House on Needless Street' to the library unread... There is a lot of hype around this book and I wanted to fall into the story, but I just... didn't. So after ~3 chapters, I quit! ⚜ Am I totally wrong? ⚜ Should I give Needless another go one day? 👇 Let me know! 🏚 Ps.
