Reina Iyashi wants a normal, mundane existence until Satoru Gojo takes a special interest in her uncanny ability to bring people back to life (or so Itadori says) and offers her a job as his assistant at Jujutsu High. Chapter Fourteen
——————————————————————————————————
“Please welcome Kanoko Hisakawa,” Yaga gestured to the tall woman walking through the door. “She will be a new teacher here as of today.”
She tossed her green hair over her shoulder, piercing the room with a smile before bowing, “It’s nice to meet you!”
The students erupted in murmurs, leaning in close to one another to speak in hushed tones.
“I heard that she was a direct recommendation from the Governor,” Panda whispered.
“Salmon roe,” responded Inumaki softly.
Yaga quieted the class with an irritated shout before continuing, “Hisakawa will be helping you all with team strategizing, she’ll evaluate how you do today during the exchange event and give notes.”
Maki dragged her eyes over Kanoko, assessing her threat level, “Hope you won’t be a waste of time.”
Gojo clapped before turning to his students, “Now. Now. Let’s not forget why we’re here,” he stood with a dramatic flair. “To beat our sister school and bring glory to your beloved sensei.”
He pointed his finger - moving it in a half circle, “Don’t forget, if you shame me out there I will disown you,” he nodded as he spoke. “Then who will care about you? Principal Yaga?”
Gojo jutted his thumb in his direction, Yaga crossed his arms - his face hardening.
Kugisaki rolled her eyes, her elbow resting on the desk propping her head up.
“Iyashi-senpai would,” she stated, lazily rolling her neck to stick him with an indifferent stare. “She’d probably be a better teacher than you anyways.”
Gojo clutched his heart, “Words can hurt, Nobara.”
“Let’s get this over with so we can warm up before it starts,” Fushiguro stood from his desk, stepping towards the exit.
“See! That’s the attitude I’m looking for!” Gojo raced forward, grabbing him by the shoulders to pull him in for a hug. Fushiguro pushed him backwards, shooting him a disgusted look.
Itadori bounded in their direction, “We will make you proud, Gojo-sensei!” he threw a thumbs up in the air.
Reina stood at the back of the classroom, surveying the scene. She walked towards the students, intending to follow them out towards the fields.
Gojo leaned in close to Itadori and spoke softly, “Yuji, I want you to be careful today with Gakuganji here. He already doesn’t like that I let you stay on as a student. Let’s not give him a reason to want to execute you sooner rather than later.”
Itadori nodded seriously, Gojo clapped him on the shoulder before leading the group outside.
The students ventured down to the track as Reina slid next to Gojo, “Why does Gakuganji not like Itadori?” she asked.
“Because of Sukuna,” he replied, watching as Kugisaki swept the feet out from underneath Itadori in a surprise attack.
“Who?” Reina’s brows furrowed as she sat down on the step.
“That’s funny,” Gojo smiled, crossing his arms.
“No, really, who is Sukuna?” she asked again, a hint of irritation in her tone.
Gojo turned towards her slowly, “Seriously?”
Reina looked around for a second before responding, “Yes, seriously.”
“You’ve been with us for six months and you haven’t noticed that Yuji has a mouth that pops out from his face once in a while that says weird shit?” he asked incredulously.
Reina threw her hands in the air, “I just thought it was his cursed technique, you guys all say weird shit!”
“Fair enough,” he responded. Gojo explained that the fifteen year old happened to be the King of Curse’s vessel and that Gakuganji, along with the other Higher Ups, had ordered his execution.
“So, you see, I am not that man’s favorite,” he chuckled. “And Yuji isn’t either so we have to be on our best behavior today.”
Gojo turned to meet Reina’s eyes, “Which means no picking fights, Iyashi. No matter how much it turns me on to see you come to my defense.”
She blushed, returning her gaze to the students, “I don’t pick fights. Other people pick them and I finish them.”
——————————————————————————————————
Reina glared in Gakuganji’s direction, her arms crossed over her chest as she leaned against the door. The TV screens ahead portrayed the students in various locations. Her eyes darted to the talismans hanging from the opposite wall as one burst into flames.
It had proved difficult to keep her word to Gojo, Gakuganji had made several comments about him and Itadori that forced Reina to clench her fists. She watched as Gojo reclined in his chair, ignoring the elder’s words.
He turned to her and lifted his blind fold to wink, Reina grimaced.
“The infamous Satoru Gojo, huh?” Kanoko leaned over from the seat behind Gojo, speaking directly into his ear. Reina stiffened, her foul mood worsening.
“That would be me,” Gojo responded without turning around, angling slightly away from her.
“Wow, it’s quite the treat to be able to work alongside someone as strong as you,” she cooed, twirling a piece of her hair with her finger.
Reina’s feet were moving before she fully realized, she leaned down next to her, “As the team strategist advising the children on their techniques, you should probably be watching them.”
“Oh,” Kanoko returned to her original position, her gaze slowly pulling from Gojo to meet hers. “You’re Reina Iyashi, aren’t you? Satoru’s assistant?”
Reina’s eye twitched, “I am Gojo’s assistant, yes.”
Kanoko redirected her attention to Gojo, placing a hand on his shoulder, “Looks like we’ll be spending a lot of time together, Satoru.”
“Iyashi, would you like to sit down?” Gojo asked, patting the seat next to him - his eyes still trained on the screens. Reina dragged her gaze away from Kanoko, reluctantly sitting.
“How do you know the governor, Hisakawa?” Utahime asked, turning back towards her.
“I have exorcized a few curses that have plagued his family,” she responded with a smile, they continued their conversation as Reina whispered to Gojo.
“Is the Governor a jujutsu sorcerer?”
“No, he’s more of a jujutsu ally. He knows of it,” he replied, crossing his arms. “We have the same common goal. So he helps us out by giving us certain resources but he portrays us in the media as vigilantes.”
Reina contemplated this; it hadn’t occurred to her at the banquet that none of the attendees knew of the jujutsu world. In retrospect, not a single person mentioned curses in their stories.
“What’s that?” Reina pointed at the screen, an unknown curse had entered the space. Inumaki headed in its direction unknowingly.
“Yes, Gakuganji, what is that?” Gojo turned to peer up at him.
Reina glanced in his direction before returning her attention to the screen. Inumaki came across the curse, attempting to use his technique before being tossed through the air - she could see him spitting out blood.
She stood abruptly, “We have to do something.”
“Sit down, girl.” commanded Gakuganji, slamming his cane into the ground with a thump. “Let us see what these students will soon offer the world of jujutsu.”
Reina glared at him, Gojo reached his hand out to her - gesturing for her to take a seat. Without taking her eyes off of Gakuganji she sat.
Turning back around, she watched as Panda came to Inumaki’s aid. Reina let out a sigh of relief. The curse slithered towards them, resembling a snake with a ghastly face. It proceeded to wrap around Panda, squeezing tightly. Inumaki attempted another attack to no avail.
“It seems as though your students need a little more training,” mused Kanoko. She leaned forward to grab onto Gojo’s bicep, “I can help you with that.”
Reina stormed from the room, barrelling outside without a sideways glance. A terrible feeling pooled in her stomach - she began to run.
Sprinting through the grounds towards the forest, she heard quick footsteps approaching from behind. She glanced to see Gojo gracefully jogging over the stones.
“Something’s wrong,” she shouted.
“I know,” he responded tightly.
They entered the forest, Reina followed Gojo as he guided them through the trees. A clearing opened ahead, the curse wrapped around Panda who was now unconscious. Itadori was desperately attempting to pry him out.
A second attacker appeared from behind, a large blue monster that took after a caterpillar, stabbing its stinger at Itadori who dodged.
The snake let go of Panda, leaving him on the forest floor before stalking after Itadori. Reina ran to Panda, assessing whether he was breathing. After determining that he was, she dragged him behind a tree and proceeded to follow the snake.
The caterpillar had redirected its attention to Inumaki, trudging in his direction.
He pulled his collar down, “Twist.” he shouted.
The curse began to contort, its head and tail remaining intact. It continued to drag itself towards Inumaki, spitting out a blue liquid that splattered onto his leg. He jumped back, the bottom half of his pants slowly dissolving.
Reina temporarily diverted her efforts, running at the caterpillar she sprung into the air - stabbing her kaiken into its eye. She swung herself onto its head and jerked the knife out. She slid down its back and hopped out of the way before the caterpillar could swing its stinger.
The curse picked its tail up and attempted to slam it down on Reina. She stepped out of the way, running towards its underbelly - she sliced across before sliding through the grass. The curse slammed into the ground where her body had previously been.
Reina leaped onto its back, stabbing both of her kaikens into the head. She hopped off, running in the direction of the snake.
Itadori flew through the air, slamming into a tree.
Gojo yanked the blindfold down, “Cursed technique: Blue,” an orb forming in front of him. It sucked the snake in, tumbling over itself attempting to desperately slither out. Gojo grabbed it, twisting it in itself before cutting its head off.
Reina ran towards Itadori who adamantly repeated that he was okay as she checked him head to toe.
“That thing was strong,” said Itadori, straightening as he walked in their direction.
“That’s because it was a semi grade one,” stated Gojo, wiping the splattered blood from his cheek.
“I didn’t know that there were any that high in the exchange event,” Itadori responded, staring down as the snake dissipated.
“There aren’t supposed to be,” said Gojo, his eyes connecting with Reina.
——————————————————————————————————
Kanoko stood at the top of the steps, clapping. Reina glanced at her before making her way up, Gojo trailed behind her helping a disoriented Panda to walk.
“Very chivalrous of you,” she commented as Reina pushed past. “Satoru, watching you use Blue was so exhilarating. You’ll have to let me see it in person sometime.”
Reina shook her head as she re-entered the room. Gakuganji stared up at her, his eyes holding no kindness.
“You did that on purpose, didn't you?” she spit.
“I do not know what you are talking about, girl. This is the second time you have spoken to me with that tone. I would take care to avoid it in the future as I am not a person you want as an enemy,” he warned, his grip tightening on the cane.
“You ever threaten my students again, I promise that you’ll have worse things to worry about than my tone,” Reina stated, holding his stare before exiting the room.
The Tokyo students won by one curse, the night was spent celebrating - a dinner provided by Yaga. Reina watched helplessly as Kanoko took every opportunity to praise Gojo, touching him mindlessly.
Sitting quietly in the corner, Fushiguro pulled a chair up next to her. They ate in comfortable silence before he finally said, “I don’t like her,” he jutted his chin towards Kanoko. She stood next to Gojo, leaning against him - holding onto his bicep.
Reina smiled at Fushiguro before taking another bite. She avoided Gojo and Kanoko for the remainder of the evening. When he would attempt to make a joke or pull her into conversation, she skillfully evaded.
She breathed a sigh of relief as she stood outside of the room, leaning her head against the wall. It had been the first time in the night that she was alone.
“Are you dating Satoru?” Kanoko appeared next to her. A smile formed on her lips as Reina’s eyes widened.
She paused before responding, unsure how to define their relationship. Reina was not confident that Gojo’s feelings stretched past his apparent masochism.
“No,” she responded flatly. Surprised at the twinge of hurt the words elicited.
“Oh, so you won’t mind if I go for it then?” Kanoko leaned in, touching Reina’s elbow softly. “Girl to girl, I don’t think you’re much his type anyways. Guys like that want to feel strong.”
Reina’s face fell, “Do whatever you want,” she began to walk down the corridor.
“Thanks for the endorsement,” Kanoko laughed before returning to the group.
——————————————————————————————————
Reina wandered aimlessly around the campus, contemplating her emotions. She found herself in Gojo’s classroom, sliding her fingers along the desk as she gazed at the moon through the window.
In reality, Reina had no reason to tell Kanoko to not pursue Gojo. If she wanted to date him then it was her right to do so.
Even though the thought nauseated her.
The door closed with a harsh thwack, Reina jolted - whipping around. Gojo stood in front of the exit, one hand in his pocket and the other lingering on the frame.
“Are you going to tell me what’s going on?” he asked, taking a tentative step in her direction - meeting her gaze.
“Nothing is going on, Gojo,” she replied, her head angled to the board - avoiding his piercing stare.
“Have you grown tired of me, Iyashi?” Gojo prowled forward.
“No,” Reina responded hastily, her eyes widening.
Gojo closed the distance, staring down at her, “Your fickle nature, Iyashi, I can deal with that - I love to deal with that,” he chuckled. “But your cold indifference - that I can’t take much more of.”
Reina’s eyes crinkled in response, her mouth downturned, “Gojo, I-” she began.
“What do I have to do?” he interrupted, his eyes searching her own.
“Nothing,” Reina shook her head, her brows furrowing.
“I just- she-,” she stammered, unsure how to convey the emotions she had experienced.
Without sounding childish.
Gojo sat patiently, analyzing her reaction.
A splatter of pink slowly crept over her cheeks, “Kanoko,” she paused - avoiding eye contact. “She asked if she could date you.”
Gojo turned his gaze to the ceiling, his eyes closing slightly.
He sighed, “Iyashi, were you jealous?” He asked the question as if the possibility was laughable.
Reina stiffened, striking him with a hard glare, “No, I-”. Her shoulders slumped at the realization - she was jealous. She knew that Gojo would never allow her to live this down.
“Well,” she tilted her head back and forth - tossing around the idea. Unwilling to confirm outright.
Gojo smirked, “Listen very carefully.” He met her gaze, holding eye contact, "The only woman’s attention that I want is yours.”
He cocked his head to the side, “And honestly, you’re a handful enough as is,” Reina scoffed, smacking him lightly on the chest. Gojo’s shoulders sighed with relief, leaning close to her face.
“I thought about your question,” his voice soft, studying her as the comfortable silence stretched between them.
“I am happy.”
Reina found herself leaning towards him - her eyes softened as she gazed into his. An unfamiliar tug in her abdomen made her swallow hard, her gaze darting to his lips.
A slow and sweet smile spread across his face, he reached a hand out and stroked her cheek.
Reina suddenly had a feeling that there wasn’t anything she wouldn’t do for Satoru Gojo.
She leaned forward, one hand reaching out to grab his shirt - quickly pulling him towards her.
Reina’s lips met his, she watched his eyes widen before closing her own.
His arm had fallen from holding her face to gripping her hip. Gojo slowly nudged her backwards - the backs of her thighs colliding with the desk.
Reina tightened her grip on his top, angling her head to deepen the kiss. Her body flushed with heat, her lips desperate.
He groaned, placing his arms on either side of her clutching the edge of the desk. Reina leaned back, seating herself on the wood - dragging him with her.
“Nothing to say, pretty boy?” she paused momentarily, murmuring against his lips. “That would be a first.”
“These lips, Iyashi,” he placed a sweet kiss on her mouth before pulling back - her eyelids fluttering.
“They are mine,” Gojo nudged her legs open, placing himself in between. He stroked her hip before sliding down her thigh.
He kissed the nape of her neck, grabbing the opposite side of her throat with his hand. Reina leaned into his palm, sucking in sharply as his fingers traced lines on the inside of her thigh - teasing the edge of her underwear.
“Those sounds are mine,” he whispered into her ear, pressing his lips to the skin behind. Reina shifted her thighs, a deep yearn growing.
He chuckled at her reaction, “Do you want me to use my mouth elsewhere?” Gojo lightly dragged a finger over the thin fabric underneath her skirt. “Like here?” He applied pressure.
A soft moan suffocated in Reina’s throat, her head leaning back. Gojo’s fingers lightly wrapped around her throat as he kissed her lips - dragging his tongue over the inside of her mouth.
“Lean back, let me taste you again, Iyashi,” he commanded in a low sultry voice.
Reina’s head was light, she could feel her wetness growing at his words. She leaned back onto her elbows, the image of Gojo adjusting to a kneeling position between her legs causing her to bite her lower lip.
He maintained eye contact as he dragged his hands down the tops of her thighs before pressing them backwards to fall to either side. Gojo pressed soft kisses to the inside of her thighs before using his teeth to nip - Reina gasped and jerked away.
Gojo smirked before licking at where he had left the mark, kissing it lightly.
He traced his fingers over her panties, leaning forward he licked the fabric over her clit. Reina bucked against his mouth, her head falling back.
“Such a needy girl, aren’t you?” he cooed, repeating the motion.
Reina licked her lips, watching as Gojo hooked a finger under the seam of her underwear and dragged it to the side.
“I can fix that,” he said before slowly licking her bare clit. He traced an agonizing circle, sucking lightly.
A moan slipped from Reina’s lips. She reached out, sliding a hand through his hair. He sucked her into his mouth and hummed.
Reina arched her back, lifting her hips off the desk. Gojo moaned, gripping her thighs tightly - pressing them further back to adjust the angle.
She could feel the familiar tightening in her stomach as she grinded against his mouth.
“O-oh, fuck,” she groaned as both of her hands gripped tightly onto Gojo’s hair. Reina rode his tongue - her orgasm shuddering through her.
“You look so fucking pretty like this, Iyashi.” Gojo licked his lips as he straightened, leaning over her to press a kiss to her mouth.
“How do you taste?” he inquired with a smirk.

Jubilee, Rank #72 (a post-event reflection)
Tumblr media
“Why would you post this on Nocturne’s 7th anniversary of its addition to Starlight Stage?” Because one, I like the song—especially the original duet. And two, screw it, we roll.
It has been a few weeks since the event ended, but I’ve been trying to write this reflection for weeks without trying to lose my mind over actually writing out several thoughts (both good and bad) over a collaboration event in a mobile rhythm/gacha game. Forgive me for the raw honest thoughts I’m about to say in there.
The Prologue
Tumblr media
Hoshimachi Suisei is a virtual YouTuber (VTuber) affiliated with Hololive Production, one of the biggest virtual agencies for such talents. She is one of the earliest talents recruited by the agency, alongside other soloist VTubers like Tokino Sora, Roboco, Sakura Miko, and AZKi—together referred to as “Generation 0”. She is also someone striving to become an idol herself. Prior to becoming affiliated with her current agency, she had tried entering IRL idol agencies, to no avail. She tried joining Hololive Production, but got rejected. She got into INoNaKa Music, but would eventually get transferred into Hololive’s main JP branch in December 2019.
To briefly describe her activities: Suisei is a forever 18, multi-talented idol who has done (and sung) a lot of accomplishments over the years. She has interest in 2D idols as well, with her having interest in Ensemble Stars!! and THE IDOLM@STER, the latter of which being an inspiration that led her into her own idol journey. She would do covers alongside other Hololive talents with songs from those two series. “Honeycomb Summer”, “Melty♡Kitchen”, “Alive Factor”, “Hanamuke no Tori”… to name a few. There were also times where she would often be pulling in the respective games’ gacha, often spending a lot of money on them. Her favorite idols from Enstars!! and IM@S include Ritsu Sakuma, Natsume Sakasaki, Hayate Hisakawa, and Kaede Takagaki.
Six years after her debut, she would perform with her own tantou.
Tumblr media
At Suisei’s 6th Anniversary 3D live, appropriately titled “SheenderellaDay”, a certain someone would perform with one of her fans.
The song? It was “Koi Kaze”.
Suisei shared the same stage with no one other than Kaede Takagaki, who was in her 1st SSR outfit. This was followed up by a small MC corner. Kaede switched into her 4th SSR outfit, and then a new song written by Suisei’s recurring composer, lyricist, and fellow Midnight Grand Orchestra member TAKU INOUE started playing on stage. As the concert was happening, I was merely saying “congrats” in my mind.
And thus, the grand “Jubilee” started.
The Event (and My Mixed Feelings)
Tumblr media
It’s easy for me to say that among the people who wanted a Hololive collab with THE IDOLM@STER in-game, Suisei probably won the hardest. She got her own in-game event, original song, a commu, and even an SSR in the series she loves—ignoring the behind-the-scenes shenanigans we will probably never fully know about. There were previous Hololive collab events in other gacha games, with Tokyo 7th Sisters and Granblue Fantasy getting their collabs in the past few years, but when it came to Starlight Stage’s collaborations, this was the game’s most intense collab yet.
I… didn’t initially plan on running this event much. While I was initially excited by the intensity of the collab event upon its official announcement, there were lingering feelings of “what if this were to be my tantou idol’s last event” and a slight hint of disappointment. The “end” of Starlight Stage had become a recurring topic among English-speaking Ps ever since the so-called “content reduction” announcement was released before the end of 2023. The collaboration itself was teased in that same announcement, but I presumed that the things around the collab were already in production as the whole “content reduction” stuff was being decided. The thought of losing IM@S’ most profitable mobile game because of whatever Bandai Namco is up to is kinda scary. It’s a silly sentiment towards a live service mobile game that will shut down eventually, but the thought is also real.
Then, there’s Kaede herself. Her last token event (and unit from the original mobile game) in Deresute, “Pretty Liar”, was held back in 2018. There’s… things I could say about her content released after that, both things I liked, things I felt odd towards, and things I didn’t really like all that much. In a nutshell: I want to see Kaede as “herself” and not just as the “final boss” Cinderella Girl that she is. It’s complicated.
And yet, this event’s timing couldn’t have been even more perfect. Lately I’ve been finding March and April to have moments involving my tantous. The event’s duration overlapped with March 30 (one year since Cinderella FES Mizuki’s release and eventually sparking FES Kaede in that same banner) and April 2 (10th Anniversary Tour Final, aka the live that changed the trajectory of my producing life forever). And the whole thing took place during Holy Week break, no less. The only real issues I would’ve had were potential connection issues that may arise in a then-upcoming 3-day road trip.
Why did this event have to be 11 days long?
The Actual Grind
Day 1 of the event started with me messing around with all my early intense grinding. I managed to get around the top 20 within the first 30 minutes of the event. Trying to maintain a top 100 spot was hard during the first few days, but eventually things stabilized as the days went on.
For a short break during the first day, I pulled on the collab gacha. My Suisei gacha tickets didn’t give me too much and got me an off-rate SSR (Miyo1), so I resorted to using jewels. Here came Kaede’s collab limited SSR, fully animated. My jewel count went from 55k at the start of the event to 36k—which would eventually be thrown into event ranking hell instead of being saved for the Kaede7 reruns (which was its own story).
Tumblr media
During day 2, I kept playing (actually sending my auto Grand team through EVERLASTING FORTE hell and back) while I was at a local convention for the whole afternoon. Not pictured: me showing fellow artists there that I was playing the event! I may have fallen out from my goal for a while, dammit, but I kept farming for tokens anyway.
In addition, I drank some coffee especially during the last few days, although sometimes I find myself feeling a bit sleepy…
Throughout days 6-8, I was stuck on the annual provincial road trip during Holy Week. I brought two phones through the whole thing: my main phone whose mobile data has been mostly spent on event grinding, and a side phone where I would often chat on Discord or play videos and music during the trip. During the second night, I did get to stay in the hotel room by myself (we had two hotel rooms) and took that opportunity to try staying awake.
On day 9, I hit the 99,999,999 money cap for the first time. Nothing too significant about it other than me having to spend a lot on stuff from the limited money shop. (That’s why gold bars exist in-game!)
The final two nights had me trying my damn best to stay up for as much as possible past 1 or 2 AM. If you really value your sleep and sanity over a dumb number for a popular idol’s event, I do not recommend this.
The last day of the event was quite a stressful trip. Within the final 24 hours, I wanted to try reaching the maximum amount of tokens you could hold (99,999 tokens) but I feared that there would not be enough time for me to reach the target. I ended up stopping the EVERLASTING FORTE grind as soon as I got to 90k.
I wanted to park at certain numbers related to my tantous (Ray Distance’s Mobamas debut date, the day CG 4th LIVE’s performance of Nocturne happened, etc.) but I wouldn’t have enough time and/nor tokens to actually reach those numbers. Near the end I tried getting 1,591,715 (Mizuki and Kaede’s respective heights) but in the end, I only managed to reach the 1.59 million point mark with the last tokens I grinded and spent.
The hardest part of the event was actually trying to keep that high amount of uptime, and it was more apparent when I would get knocked out as I was trying to stay awake. I have a terrible sleep schedule (or lack thereof) but my sleepy butt wouldn’t keep me awake for too long. The loop of pressing buttons every 2 minutes felt monotonous for 11 days straight, minus the part where I actually played the event song for either jewels or to get a high score.
My complicated feelings towards Kaede’s latest event song being a collab with a popular VTuber was stuck in my mind, and I first thought I would try to settle for Top 500 early on; but previous sentiments and “final event” anxiety, combined with some encouragement from friends and other Producers (who ranked with me) kept telling me to keep going.
Tumblr media
I ultimately finished the event at rank #72, which is… certainly a number associated with ChihayaPs. With a total of 1,590,435 points. I saw the numbers on Haruka’s birthday (April 3), send help.
I also made it to SSS rankings for the first time. It’s something I never really cared for, usually, but apparently ranking very high in a token event would let you in the top 1000. I never saw my actual SSS rank at the end of March (since I was too busy grinding), but I probably made it in the top 500 in the 91st SSS ranking that month.
The Tantou Unit Revenge
There’s one last thing I want to talk about, something I’ve been preparing for almost a year by that point. Long story short: I wanted to tier for the units I produce, and for the idols that are closest to me. I wanted to do that with S.E.M (my first tantou unit), but over the last few years my chances kept fading with each SideM game that got killed. By the time Growing Stars leaked announced its shutdown, I ended up starting to ask for a Kaede and Mizuki event (as Ray Distance) for me to tier in for me to have some form of “revenge” and (hopefully) closure on that front.
Of course that dream event didn’t happen (yet), knowing how much Bandai Namco and Cygames likes putting that After20 duo (who also have some of the busiest VAs in the series) together sometimes.
Tumblr media
Over 2023, I did get some top 2000s here and there, in both token and groove events. The last event with my actual tantous in it happened over a year ago (Heartboiled Wars with Tomoe). Every event I’ve tiered in has had an idol I like: Aki, Sanae, Airi, Kanade, and Koharu.
And yet, I didn’t tier in this event because I like Suisei… I tiered in this event because I like Kaede. So much that I ended up producing her.
As weird as I feel about the collaboration as a whole, giving up on this chance would’ve left me with intense regret for several reasons. Future me would be really disappointed if this is to be Kaede’s final Starlight Stage event. (So I hope she gets one more event after this…)
The possibility of me failing a chance of tiering one of my closest tantou’s events again scared me. I lost my chances more than once, and it would probably hurt if I give up that chance. It wasn’t the ideal event I wanted to try in, but the timing was too perfect not to ignore either. There were many thoughts swirling in my head throughout the whole thing, but then again… it’s a tantou event in the end.
I’m awaiting Mizuki’s next event (especially since she hasn’t gotten a new song for nearly 3 years now), but I need to recover first.
Despite everything…
In the end, I do not regret being Kaede’s producer.
Tumblr media
The Stats
PLv: 347 → 501. The 2x fan campaign combined with a bit of the EXP Produce perk boosts may have helped a lot.
Jewel count: 55k (pre-gacha) → 36k (post-gacha) → 7k. Thank goodness I didn’t have to spark Kaede in that limited banner.
Idols made past 15 million fans: Uzuki, Takumi, Nanami, and Tomoe. Three of my tantous & an excessive use of Nanami’s FES SSR.
Idols made past 10 million fans: Seira, Yui, and Koharu. Sanae, Miku, Nana, Ranko, and Karen also got a significant boost in fans due to all of this.
SSS songs cleared: Gaze and Gaze. Been wanting to save getting that clear for a special event.
Stamina drinks spent: everything.
Tumblr media
Total no of EVERLASTING FORTE plays at the end: 2,947.
SSRs obtained from collab gacha: 5 (two Kaedes, one Rin4, a Makino1 dupe, and a Miyo1.) I’d eventually gain another 2 SSRs after the event (neither of them were Suisei though. I had to resist pulling further because a Kaede7 rerun was coming…)
The Special Thanks
The KaigaiPs that ranked with me in the top 100 (Zhu and Shiina especially—those two are on a different league of their own) for helping me survive this tiresome first Deresute T100 attempt.
My fellow online friends from the various Discord servers and on Twitter, for supporting me. I’ve been keeping that whole thing under wraps from my main account out of embarrassment, but yeah.

Sailor Moon R AR Book with Script for Episode 68
A note with the scripts I have posted. This book confirms my suspicions. The ones I have many of are concept scripts, meaning the first draft for the episode. The script goes to the production team and then make changes. The changes are written into an AR script (After Production) and it is the final script, minus any last minute dialogue changes. The AR scripts are the versions the seiyuu see and why the covers are different than the ones that I have.
Below is a special with a copy of an AR script of Episode 68, "Protect Chibi-Usa: Clash of the Ten Warriors". The title of the episode matches up this time. It was voted as one of the most popular episodes.
Tumblr media
Back of cover with microphone.
Tumblr media
Kotono Mitsuishi close up and close up AR script cover.
Tumblr media
Cast pages. No lyrics pages were included.
Tumblr media
Four pages of the script condensed to two pages. The top box for section for each scene also describes what is happening in the anime. The lower box is the dialogue. This helps the seiyuu get an idea of how the lines should be voiced ahead of time.
Tumblr media
Showdown between the Inner Senshi and Four Ayakashi Sisters.
Tumblr media
Seiyuu of the original cast.
Michie Tomizawa: Sailor Mars
Aya Hisakawa: Sailor Mercury
Kotono Mitsuishi: Sailor Moon
Rika Fukami: Sailor Venus
Emi Shinohara: Sailor Jupiter.
I can still pick them out their voices in any anime I watch.

When you see this, post 5 songs you actually listen to and tag 10 of your favourite followers/mutuals!
I'm a bit late because my sister in law just arrived from Taipei and the last few days were really busy! I won't tag anyone (I will instead send this post to my favorite mutuals and followers)
@real-life-senshi tagged me in this and i love their blog and i got very excited so I'm writing this in the airport haha thank u so much for tagging me 💞💞 i loveeee the sailor moon side of tumblr. you guys make my day every day.
My current favorites are dominated by Turkish music and angry women in the moment.
Cool Cocuk by Ceynur
It's from the second cinema film of Winx Club but it's a localized version. I honestly love songs criticizing people(mostly rich men) about being snobby. And it SLAPSSSS while not having any relevance to the film. I have the movie soundtrack so it's nostalgic too. (If you look close enough you can see nostalgia is like crack 2 me)
Little Boxes by Sohodolls
The intro tickles my brain the same way forming a serious crush tickles it. And I'm a big fan of electropop.
Uretim Hatasi by Pin Up
Girlrage. TIMELESS MASTERPIECE. Definitely check it out
Onaji Namida wo Wakeatte by Hisakawa Aya
I honestly love everyone from sailormoon like family but i always go listen to Ami's character songs when i need to calm down. I feel like she would be so understanding of my troubles in life. We really do share the same tears after all.
Yosma by Kurban (yosma as in woman and not in whore derogatory.)
I loveeeee when someone is defining a girl they like in a silly way and rock. Also there's random screamo.
honorable mentions to fulminacci, sozvezdie otrezok, autoheart and hikaru utada for being the regulars on my favorite music but if i choose separate songs it wont be so fun bc they dominate my top 15

King Yoshiaki Omori (né Hisakawa), King Consort of the Eastern Queendom
About time I decided to draw the twins’ dad. I’m going to redesign their mum soon (she’ll also have those spiral ear markings).
Yoshiaki was born to Lady Hitomi and Lord Ryota of the Hisakawa noble house. Since he was a child, he took an interest in mechanical things and botany. Being their only son (He has three sisters), his parents prepared him to meet Queen Tomomi, and hoped that they could find love eventually. Luckily, Yoshiaki and Tomomi’s friendship eventually did evolve into true love, embracing their differences between each other and appreciating each other’s interests.
Yoshiaki, much like his wife the then-Queen Tomomi, is quite shy and reserved, but loves his wife and daughters dearly and will do anything for them. Because of his knowledge in how mechanical things work, he was known for creating many different timepieces and mechanical dolls found throughout Omori Palace. Much like how Ami resembles Tomomi, Emi in this case looks a lot like Yoshiaki.
However, Yoshiaki went missing one day without explanation. Sadly, after three long days of searching, he was found dead in the cypress woods north of Omori Palace, with the cause never being confirmed.

Send in sfw pictures to my muse’s ask/submit box, for my muse’s reaction! - @emystic sent:
[ for Alice from Yue and Ayano! I found some screenshots of some obscure Hell Girl game and this is adorable, I just see Hisakawa sisters in matching kimonos at a festival! ]
It was quite some time ago that she wore a kimono, and that was when she was still a witch. With her dragon-like features, it obviously made it a bit difficult and even uncomfortable for her to wear different attires, unless they were custom made.
Tumblr media
But for this occasion, Alice arrived at the festival regardless the fabric of her kimono might restricting her wings and tail a bit. After all, she wanted to join them so the three could have a wonderful tile together.

yuzu's got two voices in her head -- the one that reminds her people aren't perfect and the one that barks they should try harder to be :' ) anyway have some headcanons about momma hisakawa <3 tw for family member death mentions and the grief that follows
after losing her husband and daughter, it's her mother-in-law and her sister and brother-in-law who pull yuzu up and support her through her grief. the city doesn't see hide nor tail of jorogumo for months, but they see her again a lot sooner than if she didn't have that support system.
looks after naoki, her nephew, whenever his parents are busy and tbh!! he's one of the few people to make her genuinely smile :' )
she's the one to suggest enrolling him in aikido lessons when his parents hit a rough patch in their marriage
avoids grandma hisakawa bc out of her relatives, she's the one who will force her to talk about her feelings. mei and ben don't do that to her bc they're bad at it :' )
known to be kind and cordial to civilians and brutal towards criminals -- hence the name " jorogumo. " while she avoids killing anyone, she has no qualms about beating them to a pulp
why go to therapy when you can beat up bad guys ??
yuzu won't do that in front of anybody, though. she keeps the angry and violent parts of her as private as she can. people realize she can be brutal bc they see and hear about the aftermath of her encounters
going back to the therapy thing, i think yuzu understands it would genuinely help her, but she chooses not to go anyway. part of it is how hard healing is, and the other part is that she kind of? feels like she deserves to be screwed up bc she couldn't protect her family
this got sad but what if i told you that yuzu tries to play matchmaker with her students and then turns around and complains when her sister-in-law does the same to her? that's a lil funny right--

Note
She has been fumbling with her drawers for a while, humming to herself as she catches the door open from the mirror. Her tail wags slightly when she sees who enters, turning her head around so she can look at her. "Zarko! Glad you're here! Say you always wear the prettiest outfits and the like. Come here pleeasse I would like your opinion on something." She wasn't in a 'fancy formal wear' dress, but definitely a nice one. Sleeved, white, with black accents. Right now she worked on hair ribbons, in her hands holding a blue and yellow one. "Which one should I use.. Or perhaps should I keep looking? Hm I must have more colors around here."
@healingshard
Tumblr media
First of all, who is 'Zarko'? It sounded like a cat's or a dog's name... or a man's name... Which Zarina could say was similarly applied to some of the men she'd met in her life who were not better than animals. Even dogs could be better, but thankfully, none of those people were around. They were in another city, too far away to meet her or hear her internal trash-talking because she had a foul mouth and an even worse mind. Though, returning back to the cuter scenery before her, Zarina shows her interest by listening attentively to what Fuyumi has been saying. The dress is noticed right away. Oh, is she preparing for a date? Somehow, Sokollova felt a bit too old at that moment. Is this how Thancred felt with Ryne? Awful, absolutely awful; she doesn't want to compare herself to that man right now.
Tumblr media
"Don't bring yellow or orange for this dress," Zarina immediately says, waving off the yellow ribbon. It would look absolutely awful on her, but a blue ribbon might look cute as it would match Hisakawa's eyes. "Do you have a soft blue belt to wear on top of your dress to match the ribbon? As your dress is white and black, you'll need black shoes, too. Just because of the weather outside. White shoes will get dirty before you reach your destination." She doesn't hesitate to walk forward to see what can be used for her outfit. The older sister doesn't ask where her little sister is going, but she will be the prettiest girl no matter what. It's natural. She wants Fuyumi to make others stop and admire her adorable presence. "Your dress suits you nicely, Fuyumi."
Sokolova is quite proud of her dresses and ability to turn from a killing machine on the battlefield to a beautiful and extravagant maiden in a ballroom gown. It doesn't matter, perception can be manipulated, and clothes are the best tools to use with accessories. Zarina glances at Fuyumi once again, thinking about what else can be worn with this dress.
"Assuming you're meeting the one I'm thinking, stick to blue shades," as they are [his] colors and [his] shades. "Don't go deep or dark blue, stick to lighter and softer blue shades. Also, do you have earrings? Necklaces? Show me what you've got, and we'll find the perfect match. If you don't have anything, I'll give you some of mine."

In a house built atop the rocky coastline of Omijima Island, Japan, in an office decorated in a heavy, traditional style with dark woods and pale painted screens, Hisakawa Kagegorou—the Patriarch of the Brotherhood—sat upon a thick, patterned cushion, placed on top of sweet-smelling tatami mats, dressed in a simple, navy kimono and matching slippers. Before him, on the low table, lay an array of dishes, mostly untouched. To his left sat his eldest son, Sadaharu, the only remaining Abbot of the organisation. In his lightly wrinkled, yet powerful hands, Kagegorou held a tablet. The light from the screen reflected off the edge of his round-framed, titanium reading glasses, obscuring his dark eyes as he slowly scanned the text before setting it to one side.
With his back to the open doors leading to the terrace, Sadaharu’s rigid posture poorly concealed a natural fear of being stabbed by the man occupying one of the two seats around a small iron table.             Kagegorou held his sleeve back as he picked up chopsticks and carefully chose a piece of seared tuna. He chewed thoughtfully, taking time to savour its flavour.             Sadaharu endured the uncomfortable silence by staring at a sumi-e of Sakyamuni, gifted to his father by his sister, Inatsu, for his sixtieth birthday.
Please let me know if you'd like to be added or unadded from my list. I know it's been forever since I contributed anything.

some of my favorite muses from over the years AKA the muses i might make a multi for uvu
hisakawa chiyoko: fandomless with verses; high school/college student/teacher; a filthy memer who keeps everyone at a distance but would literally take a bullet for a stranger; one of my oldest and most precious babies :’ ))
yubari or yu: dgm but could be fandomless; an actual dragon, guardian of the yubari river; just a dad trying to protect his adoptive daughter and also get some peace and quiet; i just think he’s neat y’all ( bc he is ) and wanna develop him more
ito maemi: bn.ha; villain and teacher at u.a; has a twin sister who she killed in the heat of the moment so now she’s pretending to be her!! while still being a villain and offing heroes who aren’t morally sound! has a conscious/moral code but like.... don’t get in her way; she’s my first villain i’ve ever written and writing her is a nice challenge
ootsubo chinatsu: bn.ha; hero and teacher at u.a; scary cat lady goes from hunting down the big bad from her childhood to teaching kids and frikkin loves it :’ )); an old oc who i revamped and i just love her story and character so much!!
and lastly a whole frikkin band of oc’s!! bc i love the found family vibes i had with them, the message they as a band tried to communicate, and every single oc from that group was a delight to write!! it’s gonna get longwinded if i try to explain all of them but they’re all really so wonderful and deserve more development!

Female Sociopaths in Popular Media (Part 47)
Go here for Part 1. It provides an explanation for this list. Also, check out the master list which includes analyses of all the included characters. (Some analyses still may not be completed as of yet.) If this is the first part you’ve seen, reblog one of those two posts. Otherwise, feel free to reblog this one.
Pictured above (left to right):
Drizella (voiced by Russi Taylor (EN) and Shinobu Adachi (JP)), Lady Tremaine[1] (voiced by Susanne Blakeslee (EN), Aiko Konoshima (JP)), and Anastasia (voiced by Tress MacNeille (EN) and Ayumi Kido (JP)) in Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep (2010)

Christabella LaRoach from the Silent Hill comics (2004-2008)
Judge Margaret Halloway (played by Elizabeth Lambert) from Silent Hill: Homecoming (2008)
[1] She has two versions already listed and I usually don’t like repeating examples when I already have posted one version on the galleries, but this was the best picture I could find with the sisters together, so I had to concede. File that under problems that only I care about and no one else. [2] Thanks to @ouchmaster6000 for recommending this one. [3] Thanks to @color2wheel for recommending this one.
If you wanna help me, suggest some characters for me to include on the list by leaving a comment on any of the posts, sending an ask, or messaging me. You’ll be credited for helping me when I include them in the gallery post. If you don’t want to be credited, just ask and I’ll leave your name off the post.
Either that or help fact check my profiles on the master list. I haven’t seen a lot of the things that these characters come from, so I don’t have a lot of firsthand knowledge. If you have seen/played/read any of the works that I have included, look through the profiles and see if there are any inaccuracies I need to edit.
