what is your Chinese takeout order? Well, potstickers always. If I could *be* a food, it would be a potsticker. But also, I live in southcoast MA where Chinese food is completely different from everywhere else- and superior I will fight you on that hill- and so this is more complex to answer. Chow mein here is made with what's called 'Fall River' noodles. They are made entirely for this area and are amazing. It's my favorite dish. I've lived all over the country and Chinese food elsewhere is just so shitty.

what's your favourite emoji? I still can't make emojis. : p That's as good as it's getting.

would you rather have a library, greenhouse, or home theater in your house? Home theater. I should lie and say library.

what childhood tv show do you think of the most fondly? I Dream of Jeannie. Not really a kids show but I was obsessed with it as a kid. I also liked Punky Brewster.

what was your tumblr like when you first joined? So gifs had to be under 1MB. You kids are spoiled with your 5MB lavishness. So there were a lot of shitty gifs. Tumblr was just better in general. There used to be so many great gay porn gifs. It was awesome. Then the morality police came in and made it less fun for everyone. My tumblr was basically just a history of my fav gay pairings that I brought over from LiveJournal. Don't get me started on LiveJournal.

what clothing style do you love but don't feel compelled to replicate yourself? Bohemian cool girl. She just wakes up like that. I could never pull it off. This dumpster fire takes some work.

if you were plopped into a fictional world, which one would you know the layout of the best? I barely know how to drive around my block without using GPS.

what is your favourite piece of art? My favorite artist is Flavio Zarck and my favorite piece is THIS. He makes creepy looking sculptures out of scrap metal. He also did a series on drawings made by by people suffering from severe mental health issues like paranoid schizophrenia that was really interesting.

do you have a water bottle? what does it look like? It looks like a can of Coca Cola. I should drink more water. If only to surprise my kidneys every once in a while.

what fanfic trope is a quiet fave? Ugh where do I start. I unapologetically love the Cinderella story where someone saves the other, or you find out later one is rich or a prince or whatever. I love hurt/comfort....like serious abuse where the other person helps the other recover and they fall in love. I love the 'pretending to be together for x reason but end up falling in love' trope. I also love the ABO 'oh no i've gone into heat! And my low key soulmate just happens to be here. Whatever will I do?!" trope.

do you carry a daily bag? what does it look like? what's the weirdest thing in it? Workbag with laptop. Probably just some errant tampons that somehow have come unwrapped.

if you had to ship Mickey with another Gallagher, who would it be? Lip for sure. I think Mickey would just wreck Lip. I love the episode where they go to shoot up the gentrified store together and Lip seems intimidated by Mickey. And Mickey was taking out all his anger for Ian on Lip. Mickey looked so hot. There was a slight sexual tension in that scene.

what is a fanfic trope you didn't expect to like and then very much did? Like @energievie said, Gallavich taught me the joys of AUs. I love so many of them. Also ABO. I got into ABO by accident with the Hannibal fandom, and those fuckers can seriously write. I found myself obsessed and now not a lot of sex scenes in regular fanfic can hold a candle to ABO most of the time. Regular fanfic was like weed and ABO was like heroin and now I'm addicted. I can't believe I'm into this but...it's hot.

Do you think s11 Mickey can still carry s11 Ian? Probably. He's pretty strong. It's just awkward because Ian is so tall. He'd find a way.

who got custody of the killing bat when they sold the house? Sandy took it when no one was looking.

A2. How did you find your first fic?

I think I was between the ages of 10 and 12 and I was googling about Inuyasha and a fic popped up. I think I wanted to see what happened after the anime cut off and discovered fanfiction to fill that whole through google of all things. That was how I found ff.net.

B4. Who is your current favourite author? What is their best story?

HO BOY this is a hard one. I've generally really enjoyed a lot of writers, so I'm gonna cheat here and name multiple (fair warning that it is All Trigun at the moment because that is what I currently have brain worms for):

There are, of course, lots of other fics I love in other fandoms, but these are ones that have stuck out to me and currently make my brain go brr. There are probably lots of really good one-shots I'm missing because I tend to get brain worms more over longer fics, too. This list also probably has a bias towards fics I've followed a long time, because the longfics and one-shots I binged over a few days are ones I have a harder time remembering, though I do tend to go back and reread them.

B7. Which character is your favourite to read about? Why?

Right now? It's 100% Vash. Not only does the fact that the fandom largely writes him as trans or at least Not Cis make my enby, doesn't identify with my gender assigned at birth self very happy, but he's honestly such a complex and interesting character. There are so many different interesting things you can do with him, and there are a lot of subtle aspects of his character you can really dig into in fanfiction. I'm also just... a sucker for characters with a lot of struggles getting support systems, hurt/comfort tropes, and found family tropes, all of which Vash is great for.

C9. What show did you really try to watch, but you just couldn’t?

Hmmmmm there are a lot? I've completed 300~400 anime in my lifetime, not even counting Other Kinds of Shows, but I've dropped more than I've finished. Naruto comes to mind because I think I watched maybe 500 episodes of that for a friend, and like, I liked parts of it, but it was such an inconsistent watching experience that I ended up never really liking or really finishing it. I didn't have nostalgia to get me through it lol.

D6. How many bookmarks do you have?

612 right now! Granted, I've had my AO3 account for about ten years now, so it's not too impressive when you factor in how long it's taken me to get there.

D10. What is one story idea you really want to read but no one has written yet?

This one is haaaard because if no one is writing an idea I want to read, then I tend to write it myself. I guess a Vashwood SWAP AU is one? I technically haven't posted the Vashwood part of my SWAP AU, so I would say it counts lol. But on a serious note, I think there are a lot of cool AUs that would work really well for Trigun, but I don't see too many that try to take new and fun takes on the characters. I've seen a couple here and there, but a lot of people tend to stick pretty closely to canon. Which is great! Lots of really great fics like that out there! But it's also fun to just get wild with it sometimes, so I'd like to see more AU fics that just go ham and have fun with some outlandish and creative ideas.

16. Favourite trope?

Hurt/comfort will always be one of my favorite one! I love when our characters have meaningful conversations in general. Found family is great, too! I looooove deep, platonic bonds. Angst with happy ending is fun, like writing very sad angst while knowing they will be fine eventually 😂 As for romance, I love slow burn and mutual pining! Friends to lovers, too!

17. Least favourite trope?

Good questions! I tend to think more about what I like to write than to think about what I don't like to write 😂 I don't really like Enemies to lovers I guess ?

18. Are there any AU’s you’d like to explore but haven’t had the chance to yet?

I'd love to explore other possibilities of the game itself! For example, I wonder what would have happened to Joshua if he had stayed at Anabella's side all along, like if he hadn't been there during the Night of Flames. Maybe he wouldn't even know she made his father and his men killed! And also if he reunited with Clive earlier, like if he managed to escape from the Undying or something like that. And meeting with Cid, too! Like what if Cid found him and brought him to the Hideaway before he even met Clive ? So many great and interesting possibilities!

19. Do you listen to music whilst writing? If so, what kind of music?

It depends! Sometimes I don't and sometimes I do, it depends of the kind of thread I'm writing! I have a Joshua playlist with specific songs that I think suit him, so if the mood of the thread fits with one of these songs, I'll probably listen to it while writing it! The kind of music varies a lot!

A/n: as promised part 2 of the series. This will have third installment. I am aware that this is malleus x reader but I needed that found family trope for personal reasons.

Before you left diasomnia, malleus assured you that you don't need to pack anything, he had plenty of women's clothing back at his castle.

His pale cheeks turned light pink as he understood the implication of his statement causing you to laugh.

"I mean that you'll be taken in for a fitting, and you can wear my Grandmother's clothing while the dresses get prepared. I assure you, you'll look absolutely radiant in the royal robes." Malleus smiles and tilts your chin with his forefinger and thumb so you are looking up at him. His eyes were soft, so very soft. His dark hair falling before his glowing green eyes and his dark lips capture yours for a blissful moment.

You could only sigh with content as his soft lips moved with yours.

You pull back before you get lost in the moment, as you had to get some rest before leaving for your trip.

Giving him a last peck on his jaw bone, as his cheek was too high for you to reach, you bid goodbye for the night, deciding to meet the next morning for your trip.

You walked back to your dorm alone. Malleus tried to let him walk you back but you refused, you just needed some time to think, so he left it at that.

You opened the now-repaired door of your dorm, finding the lights off as it was night by now, grim was probably in bed by now too. You sat on the couch for a moment with your face in your hand and hands rested on your thighs.

You were just...no there is no light way to put it. You were having second thoughts. You let out a long sigh. You would have to leave so much behind if you did this. Leave Ace and Deuce, grim, all of your friends at nrc and teachers, who you've grown to see as a family, too.

You didn't know what to do, you pulled out your phone and contemplated calling ace and deuce for a second but decided otherwise since they are probably asleep anyway.

You put down the phone on table close your eyes and leaned back.

"Puppy? Are you still awake? I heard about your trip to briar valley from dire, and also about the specificati- are you okay?" Divus Crewel, your favourite teacher at NRC, called out from the door, that you had unintentionally left half opened.

You looked at him with watery eyes as you shook your head 'no'. No, you weren't alright.

Divus let out a shaky breath as he engulfed you in a hug. He was feeling....conflicted. On one hand, he was happy that you've found the love of your life on the other hand he felt...sorry? Not quiet, he felt sad that you have to go through all of that to achieve your true love.

That you'll outlive almost everyone you know.

He knows that he can't start to understand how you are feeling, but he can at least be there in your time of need.

He rubbed you back as you continued to silently cry on his shoulder.

"Sho-should I...? You asked, voice cracking from all of the ugly crying.

Divus sighed, he doesn't know how to comfort you, a thought that makes him feel useless in your time of need. "I don't know, puppy, I really don't." He let out a shaky breath.

He may not be able to help you, but he only wishes you happiness.

"Ahem, a-are you okay, prefect?" Came a voice from the door, you looked up from the alchemy professor's chest (noticing the blotches of tears on his red and white waistcoat) to the main door, only to see headmaster crowley awkwardly standing in the doorway.

You hastily wiped the tears from your face and tried to give the headmaster a smile, which came out strained.

Crowley looked at you with a glint in his glowing eyes, something that you couldn't figure out. He walked forward and sat beside you on the couch, his golden eyes glistening in the nightlight.

He suddenly pulled his mask off, making you gasp, from the corner of your eyes you saw divus' eyes widening as well.

Dire Crowley was a handsome man (I know, a shocker). The glow of his eyes, now subdued, were amber now, with dark purple eyeshadow. Be still had those two strands of hair on both sides of his face.

He suddenly let out a loud sob, startling you even more. "Ohhhh...my sweet little hatchling, leaving her nest..." He covered his face with his hands as he continued to sob, with divus giving him a disappointed and disapproving glare. You hesitantly raised your hand and rested it on his back, running it back and forth.

Divus rubbed his temples and stood up, crouching in front of crowley, he put both of his hands on his shoulder and gave him a good shake. "Dire, stop it, you are acting like a child." Divus was about to throw crowley out of the dorm, when crowley unexpectedly threw his arms around you.

"Ohhhh...y/n, do not worry, where you will be we will always be with you..." Dire continued to sob, holding you tightly in his arms. You looked at your careless headmaster with surprise in your eyes.

As long as you've known him, he was never the one to show emotions, true emotions, but for once you allowed yourself to believe that he will be with you, despite the decision you make.

"Dire is correct, pup, we will be with you, despite any despite the decision you make." Divus moved away from crow man and crouched in front of you. You nodded at him, silently thanking him for his support.

You gently pried yourself away from the headmaster's grasp and thanked him as well. The teachers bid you goodbye, Crowley giving you another hug (or at least he tried, professor crewel held him back) and divus gave you small headpat before they left.

You have made decision, and this time you were ready.

3. How would you describe your writing style?

Uuuuuhhhhhh

Um, I honestly don’t really know how to describe writing styles or mostly really any other artistic medium styles?? Ise told me once that my writing was loud in a good way, and Reese said that my writing is very earnest. I guess what I would say about it is that I try to fill it with emotion, whether it’s an emotional piece or something comedic. I’m a very emotional person and that’s how I connect with basically everything, so I try to connect with people through my writing by making it an emotional gateway so to speak

Yeah, I don’t know if that’s a writing style, but that felt good to say about it lol

9. Thoughts on cliffhangers.

They are so very fun when I do them >:3 But every time I’m met with one as an audience member I always do the surprised pikachu face aslkhgsdlgkhlgh

They’re still fun as an audience member, but I will be absolutely consumed with the need to know what happens next lol The worst cliffhanger I’ve ever been faced with was the cliffhanger at the end of The Mark of Athena from the Heroes of Olympus series by Rick Riordan, and I was caught up to the series so I had to wait A WHOLE. YEAR. JUST FOR HIM TO LAUGH IN MY FACE IN THE DEDICATION PAGE OF THE HOUSE OF HADES

I WILL NEVER FORGIVE YOU RICK RIORDAN EVEN THOUGH I WOULD HAVE DONE THE EXACT SAME THING BUT STILL!!!

10. Top three favourite fic tropes.

Found family, hurt/comfort, and idk man, I don’t really categorize fics into tropes in my head. I looked up fanfic tropes and the lists I got didn’t really give me something that I would recognize as liking a lot except the hurt/comfort one lol Uh, I like it when characters who aren’t shown interacting much in canon are interacting with each other and what their relationship is like. And I like reading about the same idiots falling in love a hundred different ways lol

19. Share a snippet from a wip without giving any context for it.

I know you’re probably fishing for more Meadow content, but I haven’t written enough yet that’s sharable without it being basically just the first three very short chapters aslkghslgkhs So here’s the last few paragraphs I have written for the John fic instead! :D

“Stop! Please, that's enough!”

The vision slows to a stop before slowly fading away, and John is back in his office again, his whole body shaking with fear and anger as he fights off tears. He breathes heavily and wipes at his eyes before he looks back over at the Light.

“Why would someone do this? Why would someone make this miracle without there being an end point? Why would they drag other people into it who don't want to get caught up in the entanglement of infinity?” he asks it with a trembling voice.

Because it is a miracle worth inventing. The Light says. Someone made my creator's existence, and they loved life and existence so much that they wanted to extend that joy of creation to others.

“They had no right,” John says, voice low and deadly. He grabs onto the armrests of his chair and grips them so tightly his knuckles turn white. “I want to meet them. I want to destroy them. Once everyone knows what they have done to us, they will all want that too.” He takes a breath to try and steady his voice. “How do we leave existence to confront this creator?”

The Light of Creation remains silent for a moment. I am built to be used for whatever my master's will is, so if you want to take me home to meet my creator and the creator of your existence, all you need is to say the word. We'll get the word out to everyone in this plane, and with my help, you will all be able to lead a revolution that will lead to the destruction of existence itself.

“That is my plan,” John says, eyes narrowed and his heart pounding in his chest. “And I will destroy anything that gets in my way.”

24. Thoughts on flashbacks/flashforwards.

Flashbacks and flashforwards my beLOVEDS!!!!! <3

Flashbacks are great because they could be used for such emotional depth or as comedic timing (I usually use them for emotional scenes that give context to the present) and flashforwards are great when you want to time skip and the comedic potential for those are AMAZING!!!

“So what ever we do, we’re not going to do x, right?”

*flashforward to the Event*

*they did x and are now in trouble*

Truly one of the best comedic tropes of all time!!!

25. Is writing the whole thing beforehand better or worse than writing it as you go?

I’m assuming this means writing it as you post it for like, multi-chapter works and stuff, and honestly, I think both have their strengths and weaknesses. Back when I was writing fanfic for pjo, all I wrote were multi-chapter fics, and I posted them as I wrote them, and doing that and having the feedback of people reading and liking what I wrote gave me the motivation to keep going, and it was the first time I almost ever finished a fic. I was really close to the end game in one of them, and it had a lot of chapters too and I had been working on it for a really long time, but between having Wattpad taken away for a long time because I was severely neglecting school and having to stop writing it, actively being bored with it and hating it by the time I got back to it, and, since it was my first fanfic and first and only fic at the time where it was a self-insert along with inserts of some of my friends, I started hating it even more because I my friendships with most of the people I was writing about were shaky at best and I was actively trying to get away from them at worst. May or may not be tangentially related to why I was hesitant writing another self-insert fanfic even if I’m the only insert.

But I digress

The downside to writing it as I post though is that I can’t go back and do major changes to the story once I’ve posted it and am actively working on it, and also the pressure to not abandon it no matter what because some people are reading it and are invested is real

With writing everything before I post it now, especially now that I’m working on two mulit-chapter fics, it’s harder to stay motivated because I don’t have that constant feedback to keep me going, but that’s lessened a lot by being able to share snippets of my writing in ask and tag games and talking about it a lot with people. And by not posting it right away, I can go back and make major changes as I see fit, whether it’s rewriting a whole chapter or changing a major event that affects the whole story and changing the structure of the story itself. I like having that freedom, but it is harder because with most of the smaller fics I write, I can look it over a couple of times and hit post and I don’t have to worry about it again because it’s out there. Now that I have the freedom to do as many edits as I feel are necessary while I work out everything else, I’m able to second guess myself and go through an endless loop of editing. And the project seems so much bigger because I’m trying to do it all at once, and there’s still pressure that I have to post it eventually because I’ve been hyping it up so much, but there is a little bit of reassurance that I can go fuck this if I want somewhere down the line, and yeah, people will be really disappointed, but they won’t be stuck on a cliffhanger or something and never get that closure.

I think what I’m going to do with the Julia fic though as a compromise is that I’m going to try and write at least all of Here There Be Gerblins, if not the next arc or two also before I start posting. That way I can get it out there as a motivator and still have that solid base of reassurance that I did okay with it before sending it out to the world. Also, having you as my beta reader really helps too lol :3 I almost forgot I was answering your questions, Sunny and was going to tag you as my beta reader, oops lol

30. Describe a fic that almost happened, but then it didn't.

I feel like I’ve answered a similar question to this before in a different ask game, but for the life of me, I can’t remember what the plot of the fic I was going to write but then didn’t was slhgslakdhglsdhg

I remember there was a prompt someone sent in last year, before I even made this side blog, and the person had just read the tumblr version of Drinking Your Feelings, and I had just reblogged a different prompt list than the prompt I got for that fic from, so when they sent in their ask, I originally thought it was for the new list and not from the other one. I had outlined the fic I was going to write for that before I realized that they probably meant the other one, and they clarified that they did want the other one which is how In The Lively City happened.

I know it was supposed to be blupjeans centric, but I think it had something to do with Barry and Taako being the characters actually present, and Taako was getting on Barry’s ass to make a move which he adamantly refused. The only reason I remember that is because I vaguely remember lifting that concept for An Unconventional Way of Getting the Light, but that’s all I remember about it

33. Give your writing a compliment.

I can, and have, made people go feral because of emotions, and every time I do I go ehehehe >:3 lol

36. How do you come up with fic titles? What's the one you're most proud of?

Most of the time, I write the fic and save the file name as a quick phrase of what it’s about, then when I’m done writing it and am faced with posting it on ao3, I drink some water, stare at my computer screen until my eyes lose focus and I zone out, and then I astrally project my consciousness to pray to writing gods that may or may not exist, then I come back into focus because I realized that I haven’t even opened up ao3 yet to get the draft ready, then I put the cursor into the bar to type the name of the fic after doing all the appropriate tagging, then I drink more water, zone out, try to summon the spirit of Justin McElroy because he’s the best at naming things, that doesn’t work, so I go over in my head everything I just wrote, and then finally I have a shitty idea that is decent enough to earn its place as title and I write it down then change the file name on my computer to match it lol

And the names I think I’m most proud of is a tie between A Song of Love Played Ad Infinitum, No Aliens On the Moon, and A Witness of Corruption

Those titles iirc actually came to me fairly quickly :3

GIANTS OF BL 2021 AKA SHOWS LINED UP FOR GMMTV THAT WE WON’T STOP SCREAMING ABOUT!

Is there a way I can get over the addiction of BLS? Apparently not because GMMTV came and slapped me across the face for ever thinking I could. Like what even was that conference? I came in like yeah I've heard the rumours. 6 BLs! LOL, you're kidding, like nothing I'd want would even happen. But I still made a list of everything I wanted from them and held that checklist in my mind and boy was I shocked! I ended up just on the floor, brain exploded, mind shut down and can you believe I was crying? Like why on earth was I crying for GMMTV BLs? Crazy right? I am absolutely left floored, I'm going to be crying as I write this by the way just so you know, I've got my heart full ready to burst, talking about the change we've seen in BLs this year, the journey, the growth; there's still some work to do, but GMMTV said they were also part of that, they were going to change and make us stay, wanting more. They did that in a 3-hour conference. My brain is ready, my mind is prepared, my heart is available for all these shows, and I can't wait to see what 2021 unfolds. Let's begin screaming:

Ratings: From 1 to 5 (1 being least excited to watch, 5 being most,) how excited am I to delve into these shows?

THE NICE SURPRISES

BAKERY BOYS

Genre/Themes: Thriller, Bromance, Mystery, Psychological, Drama, Friendship, BL? (The manga is), Baking

Verdict: You know I love Antique when immediately I see that Foie's hands shaking as he has to be one of the waiters in the cafe, reminds me back to another favourite bodyguard of mine doing so. I was in shock; One because Antique was one of my first Korean 'BL' movies I saw, with all my favourite actors, an unusual and intriguing plotline and I ate it up; all of it. I didn't like how censored it was and the weird open ending for the relationship in the show. But I couldn't care less, something about it made me happy. I just loved the characters I think, and I enjoyed seeing our 4 bakers become friends and find a weird found family with each other. Add in a mystery to why Joon’s character wanted to kill himself and hated cakes? And I was sold. Now GMMTV is making a remake for it, and SINGTO is playing my favourite gay baker. Like I am so happy with this. Do I expect this to blow my mind? No. Do I expect more BL? A little? I'm not sure like GMMTV could make Antique a BL if they want to, Korea hinted to it, Japan ignored it in anime and others, but Thailand could change that. I'm not holding hopes for it, but I love this cast just as much as I love the Korean Cast like Lee Thanawat is perfect for this role, Singto is greater (I just love him so much) and we even have Pleum and Foei?? Ratings: 3.5/5 I mean it's not really a BL so it'll feel queer baity for me and I may end up being annoyed it, but I really do have fond memories of the Korean movie, so I want to be excited, and the cast is everything so we'll see.

FISH UPON THE SKY

Verdict:

DID SOMEONE SAY JITTIRAIN: THEORY OF LOVE? 2GETHER??? Sorry for screaming but like what else am I meant to do. Theory of love is my ultimate BL show, one of it anyway, one of the reasons will be discussed even more later with another show, but this is not about them. Also, 2gether is like one of the biggest BLs ever right now. Jittirain is genius, she has this ability to make you feel for her characters, root for their love stories whilst throwing plot twists everywhere. I also like that she always has a focus; theory of love, we had film theory, 2gether we had music, and now we have Fish Upon the Sky, and we have?

Medicine? Love rivalry? Honestly, I don't know, the title even makes me feel even weird; what the hell does Fish upon a sky mean? But who cares it's a Jittirain classic, comedy, pain, longiiiing, and unrequited love, and scheming to get unrequited loves requited, more side couples and secretive characters. This time we have PHUWIN (had to emphasise that because he's impressive people stop sleeping on him!), one of my favourite youngins, showing up and becoming our main Pi and we have Pond a newbie, who has charisma for days, and he plays Mork, and they are love rivals. Wait what? A love story between two people who fall for each other after chasing after one guy? I'm ready for this, the haters to lovers, the pain of unrequited longing, but hold on it seems like a plot twist! Seems like we have another oblivious protagonist on our hand aside from Tine in 2gether, Pi can't even see that Mork isn't chasing after the same person as him, but for he's chasing after him! Sarawat scheming activated! I'm expecting giggles, chemistry and a great story. And it's going to be great because it's Jittirain.

Ratings: 4.5/5 It's not anything new but do I need to repeat my self? Theory of love pining and longing and emotions mixed with 2gether's secrecy, scheming and obliviousness? It's going to be great. The cast is also excellent, I have total faith in this show, better be a good director though (oh no nightmares from the last half of 2gether has returned).

FINDING ENCHANTE

Verdicts:

Enchante that means nice to meet you aww. Wow, now I know French. Yay now where do I sign up to be like Theo and have 5 men chasing after me? Actually, that sounds like a nightmare, and I don't have time for that. He does apparently. Guess what guys! I knew I had a feeling in my gut when I watched this drama, I felt the memories, the intuition, the clues, hitting my brain, and I realised why. This show is also written by My gear and your gown's writer. YES! You mean more mystery and subtext filled storytelling, a show where I can analyse the character dynamics, and find clues to piecing the story together??? Perfection. As much as My gear and your gown wasn't everything to me, it was everything to me when I analysed it, I have fun with this writer's works when directed properly her works have great potential to be one of the best. I love GMMTV giving new actors the time to shine, and choosing stories that make my mind start working again. Thank you.

With this show we're having a love Simon flashbacks with our Simon being sent secret messages through a book by Enchante, he's sweet, caring and totally all about making our lead comfortable. Who could he be?

The best friend who's totally pining from afar and playing off his feelings like its nothing? My gut is already saying that Tine definitely wants it to be him (so again requited but they don't know trope? you've got me!)

Is it the playboy guitar extraordinaire played by GAWIN you heard me right GAWIN my Mork in Dark Blue Kiss!! Like what? Where've you been boy? He looks so great in this, by the way, he's a tease, likes to play our lead's feelings, and has chemistry because they're haters to lovers.

Or is it FLUKE PUSIT?? What even is this cast how is it both my favourite actors are here? Anyways Fluke is an artist, he wants our lead to let him in so he can draw him, our lead is his muse apparently, and again chemistry that makes your head hurt because like who is this damn Enchante?? Who will Theo choose?

Anyways we then have two people who I don't know that well sorry, Boom is the football captain that likes our lead and is always protecting him, and the other is a genius/nerd? Who helps Theo with his studies? Like wow, it must be great to be Theo, guys from different lifestyles and aesthetics have found him, they want him, they need him and one of them he wants and needs. I wonder who it is.

Ps people already thinking it's the best friend, not me, I think bestie is obviously endgame Tine is definitely also secretly wanting him to be with that pining and longing (I'm sure it's why he wants to find enchante desperately). I can't wait to see why these two refuse to let each other know how it feels. All I beg for is, please don't let New direct this. Guess what it's produced by X (Theory of Love! Hold on while I cry again) and Film! (Also theory of love!) Oh, this is going to be brilliant!

Ratings: 4.5/5 This drama is probably going to be the most underrated because people have other things to care about I don't blame you, but I think for me, this would be a same favourite way I loved MGYG and I'm ready for new faces, Gawin and Fluke and a requited but they don't know it angsty love story plus I know the directing is going to be amazing!. Ps, I actually hate harems, but the excitement is in figuring out who on earth is Enchante and why this is happening!

THE BIG BOYS

GMMTV decided to not let me rest next year. How is it that I already felt happy by seeing Phuwin, Gawin, Fluke etc... I was content you know, I was like great we have a great line up I'm excited now I don't think there's anything else I secretly want that will happen. I'm being a clown, BUT NO. EVERYTHING I ASKED FOR: EVERYONE I WANTED TO SEE, EVERY TROPE I WANTED, THE DIRECTOR, THE PLOTS, EVERYTHING WAS MANIFESTED BY THESE THREE TRAILERS. That's why I ended up crying. Because even till this day I can't believe this is real. I don't know when I'll finally think they will be real in 2021. Crying again!

NOT ME

Genre: Gang, Mafia, Crime, Romance, Drama, Stolen Identity, Twins, Angst

Not me? Not you? Not us? See how my mind scrambles when it comes to this show. Because I was determined to not be a clown and believe in this even when I saw OFF GUN hold onto each other on the motorbike I was like HA, nope they're just guest stars, when I saw them as gang members I was like HA; interesting probably not BL. When I saw two Guns, I was like HA, nice Gifted character flashback but still not BL. I won't fall for it, this is a BAIT! You get me? BAIT!! Don't fall for it and then GMMTV was like shut up here's a kiss. And then I broke down and cried. Because it was a journey.

Remember when I said Theory of Love was my favourite? It's because of these two; OffGun is everything, my favourite BL couple on screen, my favourite fanservice couple, everything. I thought that the end of theory of love meant I won't be seeing them for a while, they'd be in other series separate, they'd not want to be typecasted. Gun would go for serious roles, Off will choose more het romantic comedies, don't blame them. Still, I didn't think I'd see them again, and I wasn't sure I wanted to see them in another university setting. I set my mind on only seeing them in fan meetings and side projects, I'd made up my mind to miss them. And then NOT ME happened, and now I'm crying just at the thought;

This isn't a cringy, comedic, cheesy BL.

This isn't set in University.

This isn't' unrequited pining from Gun to Off.

Gun is Dark! I repeat Gun went Dark he became a gang leader determined to break the law, called Black and Off; OFF went serious and he's Gun's right-hand man called Sean, and I'm just like wait is this real?? We're getting dark, gritty OFF GUN??? Are you serious?? See?? still can't believe it, and it's BL??? What is this? Christmas?? Like how did we get this, who came up with this idea THANK YOU SO MUCH.

I thought nothing could beat theory of love for me and now OffGun came back and said HA you thought. I have a lot of feels about this, I will never stop screaming, I've rewatched that youtube trailer now for about more than 20 times, I'm not even kidding you, every day it's on repeat, I'm just ready, ready to write, to scream, to talk about this in so much detail. Let's get a plot that's deep, thrilling and mysterious, let's get a romance that is interesting, angsty but also sweet, let's get acting that is full of range, that will break my heart but fix it together again, let's get chemistry that would make me forget everything else. I'm ready for this. I've never been more ready!

Ratings: 5/5 What were you expecting? I can't even rate this anything else, nothing about this is worrying; even the director I trust she's also worked with Gun before in another movie of his, she respects LGBTQ, and she wants to make a great BL. I just can't believe this is real. 2021 come faster, I beg you.

BAD BUDDY

You thought my screaming would be over. But no. GMMTV wasn't done with me yet. It's like it knew I was mourning from my lack of Ohm Pawat after rewatching He's coming to me (review here) and it knew I had just finished watching Gifted Graduation and felt slighted to see my opportunity at seeing Nanon as a BL character being taken from me with that finale. GMMTV knew I was empty without them and decided to mock me, and put me back together by making OHM NANON in a series together,.

Again the same process as Not me; I started laughing when I saw the trailer like a mad person. I was like this is clearly a queer bait bromance, HA, not falling for it GMMTV almost got me this time, but then there were the stares, the Romeo and Juliet energy, the sneaking into each other's rooms, the becoming secret friends despite being haters to lovers, the skinship, the intimacy, and then the jealousy, the pining, the longing, the are we just friends scene??? WAIT, WHAT IS THIS?? Why is AOF directing this (same director of ALL my favourite BLS), what is this GMMTV?

Nanon wouldn't be in a BL we know this, we've been clowns, but we accepted this with defeat, why is he now saying he's doing one because of the cast? THIS IS A BL? NOT BAIT? NOT A TRICK? BY AOF? WHATTTTTTT???? see my mind exploded.

Since then it hasn't still comprehended this. This is insane, do you know how good, how genius, how amazing Nanon and Ohm Pawat is?? Do you see the power this holds? The fact it's directed by Aof who's like one of the best directors ever in GMMTV??? Do you even know what this means? For this GENRE??? Sorry, I have to scream. I still can't believe this! This is something someone would say, and we'd laugh it of as a joke like yeah right, in your dreams, but it's real, and it looks absolutely amazing, is it a university setting YES, so what? This is everything, with haters to lovers but not really, to Romeo and Juliet pining and longing, to the chemistry that takes your breath away. To just Ohm and Nanon in a screen together being in love. Yep, you guessed it my mind is never goanna be whole again after this breakdown. Guess what I'm okay with it.

A TALE OF A THOUSAND STARS

And we come to this big one here. You see it? It screams 2021 show of the year to me, it screams incredible plot and romance to me, it screams unique and exciting BL to me. Guess what? It's also by Aof. Ha. It took me a year to accept this is happening because when the trailer came out, I knew that with this cursed genre that this was too good that there'd probably be some kind of issue with it. But did it matter? No! Because this was real. Earth and Mix were in a BL together, and it looks so amazing, so great, and it's coming in less than 3 months. I'm going to cry. And it means everything; because there's a hint of character dynamics, angst and also haters to lovers. I see the chemistry, the production, the plot, the actors, and I just feel so ready for this show that I have no other words to say except I love it, I love it, I love it!.

Ratings: 5/5 It's taken years, but I'm ready for this, I just want the trailer now, I want the show now, I want 2021 to start now. This is definitely a giant for sure, it's everything, and I can't wait for it.

After screaming at everything; 2021 starting with ATOTS is already a sign, we're in for a great year with so many incredible changes in this genre. GMMTV isn't messing around, with subs in their event to show international fans are no longer forgotten and are heard and respected, with actors that have made their way into my heart and refuse to leave, and I'm just so happy. It may seem so extreme to be this excited for a BL series to be good, but I love this genre, I love seeing what it represents to so many people, I love the interesting storylines, the discussions you can have for days because of it, the tears, angst, and happiness you feel. But most of all I love how BL has brought out writing from me, I'm happy when I analyse this genre, I'm delighted discussing real-life links and conversations derived from it, I'm so glad learning and humbling my self and opening my mind to new things. BL has been a source of excitement, shock and happiness this year. I can't for next year to be even more splendid, and with this line-up, it's going to be even more than that. It's going to break the world. Can't wait.

I have A Lot of favourite HC fics, but I've been thinking about the Beneath the Sun by frith in thorns recently, which is A++ Shen Wei HC, so I'll go with that one this time.

M: Got any premises on the back burner that you’d care to share?

You know exactly what you're asking with that question *glares*

I currently have more WIPs and ideas that aren't even WIPs yet than I can shake a stick at (it's the Z1L effect, this has literally never happened to me before???). The one that I really do desperately want to finish one day to but is properly back burned because it would be Long (TM), is the Guardian accidental marriage fix it AU. It would be canon divergence from ep 16 (?) when Shen Wei and Zhao Yunlan go down to Dixing to look for the powers register. Magical arch marriage! Too much Dixing worldbuilding! Da Qing having Opinions about being left alone to run the SID while Zhao Yunlan apparently managed to get hitched to his crush before they even started dating! Sudden commitment oh no oh yes!

I'd also really like to get back to the Bear Yashou AU at some point (yes, I know, I'm at it with the bears again), but that one's turning out to be kinda big too and my attention span isn't the best right now.

N: Is there a fic you wish someone else would write (or finish) for you?

Please someone write a long, sprawling GYADL fix it in which Luo Fusheng gets to be happy because he deserves it, dammit.

S: Any fandom tropes you can’t resist?

Most HC tropes are immediate gold where I'm concerned. Hiding injuries only for them to be dramatically revealed? 👌 Tender wound care? 👌 Someone jumping in front of a blow meant for their loved one? 👌 The list goes on. I also have an inexplicable weakness for wingfic, I like telepathy tropes that really grapple with what it would mean to hear someone else's thoughts, anything involving found family.

... I'll probably think of ten more things once I post this XD

B: Any of your stories inspired by personal experience?

That depends! Some of my OC driven stories do have certain aspects of myself based on my own experiences, sometimes I even apply them to canon characters, mostly because it’s very easy for me to talk about things that I’ve experienced myself. So I do tend to draw inspiration from IRL experiences! Actually, the shirt Yuuji’s wearing in keep you close (wherever i am) is actually based on my favourite shirt LMAOO–

C: What character do you identify with most?

Oh christ, that’s a hard one! I’d say it would be a very weird mix between Yuuji, Maki and Geto JKJJFJK– I think with Yuuji it’s the desire to have choices in life and complete autonomy over it, something that is continuously challenged in the story with the circumstances he finds himself in and Sukuna. It just kind of resonates with me to have this feeling over not being completely in control over yourself and despairing over it.

With Maki, I suppose is the family side of things; I have a bit of a difficult relationship with one side of the family and I can kind of relate with Maki on how she wants to rise above them out of pure desire to be better and out of spite – just this big Fuck You that’s says “I know you tried hard to break me, but guess what, I’m still here!”.

With Geto, it’s mostly just with his younger counterpart, being furious at the injustices he faces and the moral dilemma he gets out of it. Obviously I never got anywhere near the deep-end like he did, but on some level, I can relate to his downfall. I understand why he did it, even if it’s terrible, and it made me think of how I too was faced with really shit chapters in my life – made me wonder what the other choices were back then. On some levels, Geto is almost a personal cautionary tale for me.

F: Care to share a favorite hurt/comfort fic?

God, I am absolutely terrible with fic sharing, because none ever stick to my mind permanently. But I do love @nanamispto‘s fics because the way they engage emotions and the thought processes behind them. They just handle raw emotions very thoughtfully and gently, it’s very comforting to read even when you feel sad.

G: Care to share a favorite crack fic?

Literally give me any fic that has the trio being stupid teenagers in it and/or bully Sukuna. Actually, YOUR FIC CAME TO MY MIND!! I cannot stress enough how I actually laughed outloud when reading it; their antics were hilarious, especially Nobara waterboarding a fucking plate had me cackling.

M: Got any premises on the back burner that you’d care to share?

I have way too many WIPs and ideas but...

there’s another Tokyo Trio Friendship (?) fic I’m trying to finish, but let’s be real, I probably will sneak in Itafushikugi feels again, because I love them and their relationship gives me serotonin.

and then there is a fun 5+1 Itafushi fic I’m also trying to finish and I love it because it’s hilarious since it’s just Megumi being an absolute disaster around Yuuji. I need more of that in my life.

Love Triangles – stop being cowards, Polycules are literally right there. Also, I don’t know if that’s a trope but it’s something that irks me a lot, taking one aspect of a perfect three-dimensional character and making that their only personality – there are more facettes you can work with! Get complex! Explore! I’m tired of seeing all the Yuuji is the Dumb one tropes and not taking into account how he’s a fast learner and incredibly compassionate! I’m tired of the saying that Megumi is the Calm one, when he has a temper and is constantly holding himself back from violence! I’m tired of not seeing Nobara’s emotionally insightful side that constantly meshes with her ego! STOP GIVING ME UNFAITHFUL GOJO FICS WHEN HE’S STILL TRAUMATISED FROM HIS CHILDHOOD AND GENUINELY CARES FOR HIS STUDENTS BECAUSE OF THOSE EXPERIENCES!

But I guess I can attribute that to the huge amount of Explicit Fics that I keep finding in the tag, like, sure have fun but uh, ANYONE HAVE SOME PLOT IN HERE? SOME FOUND FAMILY?

3. I wouldn’t say fav trope but I tend to gravitate to slow burn, angst, hurt comfort, fluff and subversive. I also love found family tropes and tend to attack POV of characters like this

5. Easiest part of writing is the actual writing itself, when the idea is still hot and it’s like I’m the messenger , the thing writes itself and i am only the channel

I hate the editing process but that’s probably the most important bit to turn raw brilliance into better polished refined elegance

4. Fav part of writing is to be honest when some long time later I’ve forgotten what I wrote and I reread them

If it’s my fic, probably the whole sequence in Agent Oblivion when Goku uncovers who Agent V is all the way to when Vegeta sacrifices himself again and Goku’s all NO I WONT ALLOW THIS and gets Merus to link their life force together

Or in “Call it what you want” when Goku’s laughing at Vegeta after 18 kisses him on the cheek as thanks for saving Marron (I’m still kind of 👉👈 proud of my characterisation of 18 here, I’ve been told it was spot on with the kakavegeness too)

K: What’s the angstiest idea you’ve ever come up with?

Hmm, that’s a tough one because I have a lot of angsty ideas haha. But probably an idea I haven’t written (and idk if I will) which is a dark soulmate au. There’s a prophecy that Kakashi’s soulmate will kill him, so he decides when he finds his soulmate he’ll just kill them first. But then he realises it’s Iruka and he just can’t bring himself to do it, they fall in love…and then the prophecy comes to pass. I’m not sure quite why Iruka would have to kill Kakashi but it probably involves a lot of cloak and dagger shinobi politics. Maybe killing Kakashi is the only way to save Naruto or something. In any case, this is not a story where the characters can wriggle out of their fate.

O: How do you begin a story–with the plot, or the characters?

Usually I start with a concept. So for the idea I just described above, it started with ‘what if someone was fated to kill their soulmate?’ Then with fanfic I guess I usually move onto the characters and what roles I’d want them to have, but with original fiction I come up with a plot first and then create characters that fit into the roles I need.

S: Any fandom tropes you can’t resist?

I usually search for fics with a strong plot or a cool concept rather than certain tropes, but I do really enjoy found families, hurt/comfort and canon verse AUs like role reversals and canon divergence. Specific to Naruto, I really like mission fics and any of the Iruka-centric tropes like seals master Iruka, ANBU Iruka, hokage Iruka etc.

It would be easier to list the characters I don’t want to suffer XD But Iruka and Tenzou are my faves to torture, probably because they’re my favourite characters

THINGS YOU PROBABLY DIDN’T KNOW ABOUT MY CHARACTERS THAT ARE ABSOLUTELY CANON. IT’S JUST HOW THEY FEEL, GO AWAY.

BASICALLY, this is a masterlist of things i want people to know about them but they’d never necessarily say or show outloud bc most of them as stubborn as fuck.

DALLAS

he doesn’t regret or hate any of his exes at all. he is completely indifferent towards liana and gisele, still loves soraya and has a kind of up-down mood towards riley and zara. ruby’s a friend.

he believes he’ll end up with soraya...like one thousand percent. she’s the only person he’s loved.

charlie, matt and evan are the only people he’d give the label of ‘true friends’ and it definitely isn’t what he would’ve expected a few years ago.

his weakness is people feeling proud of him. like that’s something he craves constantly and when it happens, or you show it genuinely, you’re most likely to get through to him.

his natural coping mechanism is to act out; some people shut down/drink/take drugs. the more extreme dallas’s behaviour is and the harsher he’s behaving, the more you know he’s hurting/in a bad place.

definitely the victim of a serious god complex. he believes with his whole heart that some of his worst work is still better than a lot of peoples best (so do i cause im a bieber fan LOL)

he’s intelligent - scarily so...he got into several top colleges after high school including yale (where he attended for half of a semester/term), oxford and UCL.

before his dad’s debt engulfed his family, he had a really good relationship with him and played multiple sports including hockey and golf.

he can’t picture himself living past 30...or 27 some days.

biggest character flaw EASILY is not knowing how to ask for or accept help. it’s been the root of ALL of his bad decisions and shitty actions.

this literally isn’t a secret but he doesn’t give up. if you push him, he’ll push back harder and would sooner escalate a situation than be the one to walk away.

he does everything in his power to not have to sleep in his family home.

a cute hidden quality - he’s shockingly very good with children

a shit hidden quality - a lot of his choice of girlfriend’s have to do whether he finds them physically attractive or not. if it’s an ‘or not’, chances are he won’t even consider it.

his personality type is estp - bold, practical, original, direct, insensitive, risk-prone, unstructured, defiant

he is HIGHLY impulsive and quick to act on feelings. back to his exes, this has often made him feel like he loves people that he definitely doesn’t.

he’s actually HUGELY affectionate and that’s the tell tale sign of who he likes and who he doesn’t. if you’ve known him and he’s never acted soft/affectionate, he didn’t care in the first place.

he’s one million percent had his heartbroken. he’ll tell you he hasn’t all day.

conflicting with his god complex is crushingly low self-esteem when it comes to things like being worth of peoples time/energy/genuine interest beyond just being funny/hooking up with.

silent reassurance is a thing for him. he’ll check that someone he’s comfortable with/loves is there every so often as social events and eye contact/acknowledgement definitely helps

MASON

confrontation and disputes gives him huge anxiety but the carmichael house is the definition of toxic masculinity, so he swallows it and tries to be as rational as possible in arguments.

comparison is a very real thing for him. he compares every element and detail of his life to others; especially the other boys.

he considers madison his first love

his love language is definitely acts of service, if he’s willing to help and work towards something w.you, then he cares.

he is definitely a burnt out over-achiever. he struggles with the concept of ‘reaching his full potential’ and no matter what he does, he doesn’t feel like he’s ever there

between leo and brody, he feels like he was never a child or even young. he’s always had a really wise head on his shoulders and is rarely impulsive. it’s the thing he hates most about himself...yet the thing a lot of people find appealing

if you mention a critically acclaimed movie as your favourite, it gives him a bad first impression of you LOL

he struggles to show emotion more than the others, who tend to act out and make rash decisions. i doubt anybody’s seen him cry ever.

he didn’t peak in high school but he 100% misses who he was back then

nostalgia is something that consumes him sometimes - if he’s shared a deep connection or memories with you, he won’t forget about you

he’s literally never been on the wrong side of the law but police sirens make him anxious

he never wants to be turn out like his dad, but also wants everything his dad created and had and it’s his biggest dilemma

dogs are and have always been his favourite animal

organisation is a big thing to him. people probably assume kendall is the one who keeps things in check in their apartment, but it’s totally him. cabinets, wardrobes, shelves and everything...he can’t leave it alone if it’s disorganised

he struggles being spoken down to or feeling like he’s being patronised. it’s the quickest way to piss him off

he over-thinks everything, even if it doesn’t feel like it

his worst habit is nail biting. he even had the stuff you put on your fingers as a kid and it didn’t squash it

he’s vegetarian

if he wasn’t a carmichael, he definitely would’ve gone backpacking and worked from place to place after school but his dad definitely wouldn’t have approved

feeling useful to people is something that makes him feel self-worth

it’s very rare for him to quit ANYTHING. if he’s committed, he’ll be in it until it comes to a natural end or just forever

NATE

an actual clean freak. he hates mess.

he doesn’t know if imogen is/was his first love but he definitely considers her his soulmate

when he falls for someone, he falls HARD and will definitely give up some of his own values or change to impress somebody

he has a lot of opinions and ideas but finds it hard to articulate them, he’s always found it easier to fall into the ‘hot guy’ trope and it’s got him far enough so he can’t complain

he’s lowkey into zodiac signs and astrology but wouldn’t ever outwardly show it

he’s VERY domestic; cooking, cleaning handy-work etc. are all strong points of his. it’s rare you’ll find any space he’s living in a mess

he’s a romantic but quietly. the amount of time he spends thinking about dating/his love life/his future wife/kids scares him sometimes

if he shouts, he’s not even that mad. when he gives up and just let’s someone go off/or he walks off, that’s usually when he’s hit rock bottom with someone

big hero 6 is his favourite movie but he says black panther because it’s more acceptable to most LOL

he suffers with health anxiety; not working out properly, or eating too much junk food will send him on a weird spiral where he’s hard on himself for months

he always smells good. always.

he doesn’t like people who act dumb for attention, it’s probably his pet peeve

his harry potter house is slytherin, i took the test for him.

he loves all of his sisters but is definitely the closest to evie, it may have something to do with them being the youngest of the 5.

the thought of having to play any board game upsets him a lot

if he sleeps over at anybody’s house, he has to bring his own pillow. most people who know him have just accepted it

even now he’s older, his parents are very much his parents - he hasn’t got that friendly vibe some people get with their parents once they pass 20.

he’s a pretty good chameleon. he can shift and change depending on the crowd he’s with without being too obvious
