Hirano/ Kagiura Headcannons:
Basically a shitpost list that won’t leave me... If anyone takes these, please tag me so I can read :) Some are long descriptions, some are short- it be like that. Also, I know some of these are already fics- I just like more :) Sorry it’s hella long... a lot of them are for Kagiura idk why probably because he’s the fucking sun…
- Hirano’s on a day trip or school trip and starts panicking when Kagiura (sick or hurt) stops texting him mid-day. He leaves class early or the discipline committee meeting early because he’s concerned.
- Hanzawa (fucking love this guy- slightly worried he’s going to off himself though) walks into the meeting one day and asks Hirano if Kagiura was okay because he saw him get hurt while practicing or he didn’t look well earlier.
- Sasaki getting Ill in the middle of the night and his sister looks after him because his parents don’t really seem that attentive. Might dabble on this… Sasaki being frigid towards her at first as he is in the manga but eventually he accepts the comfort, his sister (forgot her name) just wanting what’s best for her little brother his feelings be damned, remembering how he used to cling to her skirt when he was little but now that he’s a 6ft walking tower of angst, its rare to be able to care for him in such a childish manner… even rarer when he accepts.
- Hirano feeling like shit but helping Kagiura study anyway. Kagi looks up after finishing a problem to find Hirano nodding off, his head leaning against his hand, pencil still trapped between his fingers. The younger is quiet for a while and eventually Hirano rests his head either on his arm on the desk or Kagi’s shoulder. Later when Kagi tried to rouse him, he realizes Hirano has a fever which, after waking, the older brushes off and they go to bed. Kagi wakes up several hours later to Hirano crying out his name, his fever spiking, the older reaching for him for comfort. Basically Hirano gets sicker in the night and Kagi kicks himself because he should have been more forceful with the older boy like Hirano was with him; he should have forced him to take meds or check his temperature or sat with him for a bit to make sure he was actually okay- he should have done what Hirano would have- but anyway, Kagi takes care of Hirano throughout the night (this is his chance to show the older boy the love he receives, his chance to repay him) and Hirano kind of clings to him with a fevered delirium; vomiting, high fever, Hirano being clingy for once not that Kagi minds despite how freaked out he is…
- Hirano, possibly reflecting while caring for Kagi (in my mind Kagi pukes on him and Hirano is instantly caring mode instead of mad because he knows what it’s like to feel so horrible that there isn’t any warning before puking…), that he got really sick last year (16) while visiting his parents over break. He doesn’t remember much but he remembers eating dinner, or at least trying too; trying to convince his mom who asked if he felt well, that he was okay. He end up nodding off, his head leaning against his hand, chopsticks still tucked between fingers; he remembers his dad saying something before pressing his hand against his forehead, a soft curse following. He’s pulled up slightly but he remembers puking everywhere, the table, the floor, himself, and feeling so horrible and weak that he can barely comprehend his surroundings. He remembers his parent stripping him, his mother bathing him, his head leaning against his fathers shoulder, a cold rag on his forehead and the back of his neck… he remembers his mothers soft fingers running through his hair, washing away sweat and vomit, he remembers puking in the bath water and his father holding him up, telling him it’s okay son, just get it up. It’s okay…. Basically I have this new headcannon of Hirano getting really sick while visiting his parents while on break, him not wanting to worry them because they spend so little time together, and Hirano being a complete wreck but his parents are so gentle and kind (like he is with Kagi) and they take care of him…
- Hirano’s carrying a box to the council meeting (maybe with Miyano/ Sasaki) and notices Kagiura sitting on the ground outside, leaning against a bench, his head in his hands. He falters and turns to (M/S) to say he’ll be right back and goes over to see if Kagi is okay... basically Kagi was a dumbass and practiced in the heat and ended up with heat exhaustion. (I’m currently writing this): Small snippet/ ideas below: Hirano set his alarm for one hour. He had one hour to try and cool the younger boy off, for him to start sweating more, to regain the fluids he’d just puked up outside in the bushes- otherwise, the 17-year-old was calling for an ambulance.... Hirano hadn’t grown up in a big family like Kagiura… but he and his family were close. Nothing was ever embarrassing between them, even his parent’s public displays of affection never bothered him much as a child… Touching, hugging, comforting someone was always like a second nature to him. His parents had never chastised him, or embarrassed him, or left his side when he was hurt or sick or had nightmares; and they were always open with him, made sure they talked about and took into account his feelings, even from an early age… He was fond of him, that much was true… but he was also fond of his father, or his grandmother, or his friends. So the fondness he felt didn’t mean much; didn’t help deciphering the feelings the younger shared for him… didn’t make his situation any less confusing...
- Kagiura wakes up with a high fever; Hirano misses school to take care of him. Basically, Kagi gets worse throughout the day- Hirano keeps Hanzawa posted because the other boy keeps checking to see if the nurse is available but she isn’t.... “Hi-ra?” The cry startled Hirano as he glanced up from his book, biting his bottom lip. He scooted towards the edge of the bed, placing his book on the nightstand, glancing towards his alarm clock. Hanzawa should be texting him soon to let him know if the nurse was still out.... otherwise, him and Hanzawa would need to take Kagi to A&E. His fever hadn’t spiked but now he was having trouble keeping things down beginning with the several spoonfuls of rice porridge Hirano had fed him earlier so he could give the younger boy more meds... “Hi...ra...” The whimper reached the 17-year-old’s ears, and he shot up, rushing towards Kagiura’s bed, dropping to his knees with a loud smack. He swallowed quickly, his fingers brushing the younger’s hair away from his face, his fingers connecting with the alarming heat present against dry flesh.... The younger boy reached a hand out blindly, and Hirano caught it, intertwining his fingers in the younger’s, his other hand carding through his sweaty hair.... idk y’all... Hirano lets Kagiura cling against him in hopes the younger boy would feel a little better--- maybe a bath? Idk man idk
- Kagiura gets hurt during practice or a game and tries to play it off. Hirano tries to help put he doesn’t want to be pushy... basically Kagi either accepts the help or, trying to establish himself from Hirano, still tries to convey he’s fine until he isn’t.
- Kagiura gets a concussion during practice or a game.
- Kagiura or Hirano or Sasaki feeling faint (for whatever reason, maybe fighting an illness or headache or medical thing or whatever), and their nose starts bleeding, and they quickly tell whoever they’re around to “...go get Hirano/ Kagiura/ Miyano (their significant other)” before passing out.
- Kagiura stress eats (book) so like if he get stressed and ends up nauseous and with a stomachache.
- Kagiura gets into a fight during a game (the opposing player started it)... or he gets into a fight during school which Hirano breaks up. Bonus points if Hirano freaks (like Kagi is seriously hurt or out) and Sasaki has to pull Hirano off the “bully.”
- Kagiura goes down during a game- dealer’s choice; Hirano freaks. Or Kagi vomits during a game.
- Kagiura gets sick in the middle of the night. Hirano wakes up to the unpleasant sounds of retching...
- Miyano or Sasaki crashing/ interrupting a council meeting because something’s wrong with Kagi (either Miyano stayed with the younger boy because he’s more gentle than Sasaki or Sasaki stayed because if Kagiura needed to go somewhere or if he stood up and then dropped, Sasaki would be the only one able to hold up the 6′2″ teenager). Kagiura’s sick but he tried so damn hard to hide it because it’s not Hirano’s job to care for him, and it just makes his rejection harder, and...
- Sasaki dragging a drunk Hirano back to the dorms one night (keep in mind, Hirano can supposedly hold his alcohol so like did he drink a fucking bar?). Hirano’s not great with processing his feelings, or Kagi’s feelings... or whatever. Kagiura is amused but takes care of him because he’s never seen his roommate be an idiot before.
- Sasaki getting drunk one night and acting like an idiot with Ogasawara and Hirano. Bonus points if Miyano shows up randomly, like he ran into Hirano and Sasaki trying to find their way back home or something- Ogasawara’s GF picked him up (I’m tiny writing this- its a flashback in my other fic) :)
- Hirano comes back to the dorms one night, bloodied and bruised... he got into a fight (dealer’s choice).
- Kagiura knew something was wrong when Hirano didn’t wake him up... Hirano sick.
- Hirano waking up one morning to wake up Kagi to find the teenager’s bed empty, the bathroom light on (pretty sure they share a floor bathroom like in university but for the sake of the fic, they have their own); he waits a few minutes before knocking... he waits a little longer after hearing no answer to see if it was okay to come in... basically, Kagi’s sick.
- Kagiura’s muscles hurt after a strenuous practice or game; he’s having a hard time doing simple tasks and it’s stupid and frustrating and he doesn’t want to tell Hirano but he really wants to shower because he smells like sweat but he can’t get his stupid shirt over his head. Bonus points if he has several bruises or swollen muscles in his wrist or something from the rigorous physical activity. Kagi’s a dedicated player who can work through pain.
- Kagiura gets a really bad migraine one evening after practice, and he really wants Hirano to leave him be or to shut the light off or stop tapping his pencil because the sound is going to kill him. His nose starts bleeding because that’s a thing that sometimes just happens....
- Hirano gets headache from staring at his phone all day (Sasaki says it was bound to happen). He stops texting Kagiura halfway through the day because he can’t take it and all he wants to do is get through the remaining classes (he doesn’t make it- probably heads to the nurse or just heads back to the dorms), and Kagiura shows up (either to his class, the nurse or the dorms) to check on him.
- Hirano doesn’t go to one of Kagiura’s games despite going to pretty much everyone, and Kagiura thinks about it the whole time... possibly getting hurt because he’s distracted. He goes back to the dorms (Hirano is either exhausted, hurt or sick).
- Kagiura pushing through a practice or game before coming back to the dorms and getting sick. Hirano scolds him for being stupid; but Kagiura didn’t want to let his teammates down.
- Sasaki getting motion sickness on the train one morning (perhaps they are going to a BL thing) with Miyano, and Miyano caring. Sasaki knows its lame and gross and he’s sorry because this is stupid... but sometimes the meds don’t work, and why is the convention/ thing so far away?
- Miyano eating something super sweet either because Sasaki made it or it was a special event (Sasaki’s sister’s wedding, graduation, etc) and it makes him sick; he can’t tolerate sweet stuff well...
- Hirano getting sick one day and pushing through it. Kagi pulls him aside while practicing to “interrogate” him; Hirano ends up passing out or worse and Kagi walks or carries him to the nurse.
- When Miyano asked Hirano if he had a good weekend, he wasn’t expecting this response: “Yeah, I guess. My roommate got sick Friday after practice so I basically spent all of Saturday taking care of him...” Miyano’s BL fantasies go wild and Sasaki asks if Kagiura was okay. Hirano looks up from his phone, pausing, “Yeah, he’s better now. I told him I’d kick his ass if i saw him or heard he was at school today... scared the shit out of me though. Especially when me and Hanzawa had to take him to A&E Saturday night because the damn kid couldn’t keep anything down and his fever spiked...”
- Sasaki eating something spicy or drink a hot beverage (not wanting to be rude, maybe a meet the parent’s type of situation which would be embarrassing, or he just doesn’t want to offend someone like Miyano or something) and it doesn’t not abode well for him because his stomach hurts... maybe Miyano knows something’s wrong but doesn’t think too much of it until he sees Sasaki home...
- Sasaki and Miyano know each other well enough to know when something’s wrong.
- Hirano and Kagiura know each other well enough to know when something's wrong.
- Sasaki has a nightmare and his sister comforts him for once.
- Hirano trades food with Kagiura like he does most nights because the younger doesn’t like what he got (don’t know if anyone noticed in vol. 1 of HtK, Hirano orders something he knew Kagiura liked just for this reason), and either he or Kagi end up with food poisoning which makes the other feel bad because of the trade...
- Hirano has a panic attack or anxiety attack from being stressed about grades and next year, etc. Kagiura helps.
- Kagiura has an anxiety or panic attack about the upcoming game because he’s exhausted and overworked but this is the last game of the season and if he can’t do well, like he feels about the previous game, he’s worried about his future on the team. Hirano helps and reminds him that he’s a great player despite not feeling like it...
- Kagiura, Hirano, Miyano, or Sasaki during a depressive episode.
- Kagiura, Hirano, Miyano, or Sasaki running themselves into the ground from exhaustion and stress from exams.
- Sasaki has allergies and they really fucking suck.
- Hirano being overworked and stressed and freaking out over something so small. Or fighting a migraine because he needs to study (despite having really good grades)... Kagiura puts him to bed.
Okay, don’t come at me because of this because this is normally not something I think about but for some reason...
- Sasaki having something where his muscles clench up (like a seizure; hospital not usually required) for several minutes (it takes a while for his body to regain control over his muscles again, starting with his fingers twitching or his legs spazzing or something, and he’s exhausted/ dehydrated after because it’s like working out non-stop before collapsing- his body uses a huge source of energy to fight against him), and he can’t move and it’s painful and like it’s rare, but it happens when he’s really exhausted or stressed... it only happened twice in high school (in front of other people besides his family), (stems from childhood like an actual medical condition), once in class (he fell from his seat) which freaked everyone out; another time with Miyano/ Hirano (who by now knew what to do)... and now... It started with his hands... His head resting against Miyano’s thigh, his eyelids growing heavy as the BL anime in front of him slowly begins to drift away, Miyano’s fingers carding through his hair slowly. God, he was so fucking tired. Between exams and helping his family in the bakery more, it was nice to have quiet moments like this with his boyfriend. He was almost asleep when he felt it; the sharp pain flicked against his fingers, and he made a small noise as Miyano’s fingers paused momentarily. But the pain was gone as soon as it started... his mind drifting again, the hushed voices of the television fading. His leg tensed, pain eating up his calf, and he whimpered, clenching his eyes tightly as the muscles in his arms tightened. Miyano’s fingers moved to his arm, trying to rub away the inevitable as his soft voice reached Sasaki’s ears. The older yelped again as his body curled in on himself, the muscles in his back, arms and legs ridging, clenching tightly...
- Or Kagiura has the same thing as described above; Hirano’s been through this before with him, so he doesn’t panic much when the younger whimpers in his sleep, pulling the older from his studies. Hirano glances up, an eyebrow raised as Kagiura yelps again, and the older cusses as he throws his textbook aside...
- Or Kagiura has one of these during a game or practice and someone runs to get Hirano, either because Kagi told them to right before he went down (you can feel it coming or he gets a nosebleed or something) or because they figured his roommate would know what was happening or what to do.
Like I said, usually not my forte so idk what my mind is currently tapped on... but don’t come after me...
Idk, I’ll add more if I think of more but feel free to add more or take, just tag because I love reading :)

sasaki isn't someone who understimates you - in fact, quite the opposite. he knows that you're perfectly capable to take care of yourself, he has no doubts about it; this being said, he can't help the part of him that wants to keep you safe at all costs, no matter the time nor place.
his protective nature has probably roots in his childhood, which has led him to be more mindful and thoughtful of his - and others' - actions. for example, if someone gets hurt, sasaki is the first to aid them and settle things down, in case they're in a dangerous situation.
so, to put it simple, he just wants his boyfriend, you, to be safe and sound - especially when you're out with him, meaning he can genuinely be of help, if needed.
this very day, something quite unexpected has happened: you were beyond happy to having finished your classes and were heading towards the exit of your school to meet shuumei when, well, you found yourself in the middle of a fight which didn't involve you at all — you just so happened to walk in two people arguing over each other, a punch accidentally landed on your face, you legitimately reacted and... the rest is history.
now you are in sasaki's house, specifically sitting on his bed while he gently cleans your wounds from the recent brawl. his warming touch is tender on your skin, making sure it doesn't cause any other discomfort in your body; your boyfriend's gaze is intently focused on his duty, as he'd call it, and you can't help but feeling grateful for his presence in your life.
“shuumei, i'm thankful for your help, really, but it isn't that serious,” you comment as he adds another layer of gauze pad on your elbow, his fingers are caressing your arm. “i'm completely fine- ahia!” you exclaim when you feel his index finger lightly pressing on another bruise on your leg.
“mh, i wouldn't be so sure,” sasaki replies earnestly, though he's suppressing a grin after you sigh in defeat. “just let me take care of you, 'kay?”
he's sitting in front of you, with crossed legs, on the other side of the bed; your knees are slightly rubbing each other while he moves to apply an ointment layer on your injuries spots, which aren't covered with gauze or bandaids yet. anyone could figure out how much great care he's using in regards of your well-being, how much he loves you just from the way shuumei is trying to heal your wounds.
the last, but not least painful, bruise is on your left cheek, where you were first punched on. at this point, sasaki grabs gently your jaw and leaves a kiss on the wounded skin, then one on your lips.
“how are you feeling now?”, he murmurs, kissing your chin.
you grin at him, taking his hand in yours. “definitely better. thank you, shuumei. i appreciate it”.
“good,” he kisses you again, wrapping his arms around your waist. “next time don't be so reckless, love, okay?”.

You’re So Cool (Yeah, You Are)
(I’m still writing this- just kind of need some inspiration and need to think)
Warning: It’s a sickfic- there isn’t much right now as I am still writing this (this is just like a mid-beginning snippet); but it will follow the norm sickfic with puking, fever, nightmares, self-reflection; also includes depression, anxiety, drunkenness, motion sickness, cats (specifically one named Wasabi), flashbacks, blood, etc. It’s been a while since I’ve posted/ written a full fic so I’m thinking :) but I should be done with this by this weekend as I normally write about 25-pgs, and I’m on 13 right now. I’m trying to follow the Manga/ Anime as close as possible- but I promise no active spoilers as it’s modern aged-AU :)
I’m also working on a Hirano/ Kagiura sickfic/ hurt/ comfort with Kagi getting heat exhaustion while practicing in the heat after school like an idiot. Set after (spoilers) Hirano rejects him, and Kagi trying to assert himself as an individual away from Hirano because of the awkwardness. But basically, Hirano dealing/ processing his feelings, his childhood, Kagi’s childhood, reflection of their lives; and of course, Hirano being sweet and caring as he takes care of a dehydrated Kagi (puking, decreased sweat, needs to cool off, etc.)
Eventually, most likely after the season ends, I’ll post a Buddy daddies fanfic with a sick Rei; Kazuki and Miri caring. I’ve written a few pages but right now I’m more focused on Sasaki/ Miyano :) so yeah. Keep checking in if you’re interested or hit the request box :)
He didn’t need to open his eyes to know it was dark now. The sun that had pierced through his clenched eyelids a few mere hours beforehand, no longer present; the soft chirping of crickets hidden in patches of grass littered along the alley, and the soft breeze of an imminent rainstorm blowing through the open windows, made everything clear. So no, Sasaki didn’t need to open his eyes to know a significant amount of time had passed. Nor did he need someone to tell him that the reason Wasabi was angrily attacking his foot as his right leg hung off the couch, pulling his body dangerously towards the floor, was due to the fact that he’d missed feeding her. Her loud mewling and harsh bites were more than enough to get the message across. He’d fucked up in his fatherly duties towards her.
He did, however, flinch when he felt cool fingers press against his forehead, and cheek, before running through his sweaty hair. He groaned loudly, leaning into the soft touch as he tried to think of who else would have a key to his and Miyano’s apartment. His sister? His mother… She wouldn’t care enough to come over. Hirano? Ogasawara? Although Ogasawara had never once been this gentle towards him even when he was feeling off or had broken bones; and Hirano coming to their apartment without knocking a million times would be weird. Hanzawa would come over, but Sasaki was pretty sure he didn’t have a key… he was resourceful though…
The 21-year-old groaned as he pried his eyes open, wincing as the dusky moonlight hit his eyes, making the room spin in a multitude of greys, blues, and pale browns. He swallowed as he tried moving his arm over his head, to shield his eyes despite forcing them open, but his movements were weak and feeble. Clumsy and stupid. He felt clumsy and stupid. It was annoying.
Fingers paused at his hairline, brushing away bangs matted to his forehead, and Sasaki blinked. He turned his head slightly, his hand pressing against his stomach, and he winced as sharp teeth bit into one of his toes, jerking his leg away as it slammed the end table, and something shattered against the ground. There was a shushing sound before a cold hand pressed against his cheek gently, turning his head, and Sasaki blinked again as his eyes slowly met the blurry image of his boyfriend.
…soft material pulled over his orange hair and thrown against the wooden floor. Sasaki held his breath as Miyano pushed him back against the comforter… No one’s going to be home for at least another hour, you know, we could test that theory… His fingers were so cold, and yet so… Miya, are you nervous?
“Hey, Mya-chan,” Sasaki slurred softly, a smile toying on his lips as cool fingers continued to thread through his hair. He sounded drunk. Maybe he was. He’d only been drunk twice in his short existence on this planet, and neither time felt like this, but then again… Words were too hard to form. Exhaustion hung heavy in his eyes, making the world hard to see; a dull ache deep in his bones, riding the piercing headache throbbing through his temples and up his neck. Everything was too warm right now, so nauseatingly warm, and the thought of having to move from his semi-comfortable spot on their too short couch, made Sasaki’s head spin.
“Hey,” Miyano whispered, running his fingers through his boyfriend’s soft strands, “Are you not feeling well, Sasaki? I think you have a fever.”
A fever? The 21-year-old closed his eyes as he tried to process the information. A fever didn’t sound right. He was too cold for that. The night air that pricked against his skin, eating away at the cold sweat plastered beneath his red t-shirt, and tan cardigan he had haphazardly draped over himself in order to keep Wasabi from gnawing at the black bracelets wrapped around his wrist, told him he was cold. Not hot. Besides, he just had a headache… and he was nauseous. And tired… maybe sore from work. But a fever? No, that didn’t sound right.
“I’m fine,” Sasaki hummed, twisting to his side, bringing his knees to his chest slowly as Miya shifted and the couch dipped slightly as the 20-year-old moved to sit on the edge. Sasaki turned further, burying his head against his boyfriend’s thigh as Miyano pressed a steady hand against his back, brushing some sweat-soaked hair away from the ladder’s neck. He bit his bottom lip, carding his slender fingers through the older’s hair again before placing a firm hand between his shoulder blades, his fingers cold and worried against warm sticky fabric.
Silence evaded the small living space as thunder clapped in the distance. Outside leaves dragged across the street as wind bustled through the open window, the curtains dancing freely against the breeze. The distant smell of rain lingering on the air, chilling the breath wisping past Sasaki’s dry lips as he pressed his face further against Miya’s thigh. You have to be more mindful, Shuumei, otherwise, if you’re not careful, you’re going to hurt someone you really care about...
“Well, why don’t we check,” The 20-year-old cooed, “I’ll be right back, okay?”
Wasabi meowled loudly as Miyano exited the small living room, and Sasaki ran a hand over his face, trying to rub away some of the exhaustion plaguing his body, trying to will himself to feel better. It was a useless task. And the fact that he had slept so long when he was supposed to make dinner before his boyfriend came home, wasn’t helping his current situation.
He really needed to get up. This was so lame. He was so lame. Sasaki groaned loudly as he uncurled himself, grasping at the arm of the small futon as he forced his body to sit up. The room shifted violently, and the 21-year-old let his head flop against the back of the cushions, sweat trailing lazily past his temple. He grit his teeth, closing his eyes as nausea washed over him, and he put a firm hand against his stomach as he concentrated on the rain beginning to fall. It hit the windowsill softly, clinking against the metal frame before sliding down the rest of the open glass, soaking against the wooden ledge.
Sasaki swallowed. His breathing noisy and congested as he held onto the sound of the rain, the thunder looming in the distance, and Wasabi weaving between his legs. The room around him felt thick. And cold. And any movement he made or tried to make, made his headache worse; made the blood rush to his head, the air dizzy and light. It sucked. He sucked. Great, he was feeling sorry for himself now… How pathetic.
“Hey! Sasaki! Are you okay! Is it worse?”
Nervous footsteps followed by a soft smack against his side, and Sasaki opened his eyes against the warning nauseatingly coursing through his veins, the black dots eating away at his vision, and the headache crawling up his neck, pulsating behind his eyes. He smiled slowly as Miyano pressed his hand against his chest; his mind drifting to the first time. His first. Theirs…
…Miyano’s cold fingers sliding over his bare chest, sliding down… down… down… He’d been so gentle, and yet, so clear about what he wanted… so dominant- Miya had been surprisingly assertive… it was nice… His cold fingers warming against Sasaki’s back, pressed against his spine, feeling his heart pounding through his chest… fingers…
“Shuumei?”
“I’m fine,” The 21-year-old breathed, or at least, tried breathing through his nose as he ran a shaky hand through his sweaty orange hair. He really needed to get a handle of his current situation because this was weak. He was cooler than this. He wished he was cooler than this. He swallowed again, meeting his boyfriend’s gaze, “I’m sorry about dinner, Mya-chan…”
A small smirk crossed Miyano’s face as he laughed softly, “I’m not worried about it. Your sister said you didn’t look well, so I grabbed something after my 3rd. I just wanted to see you; I was worried about you.”
Sasaki felt his breathing catch, his hand unconsciously moving from his stomach towards Miyano’s pressed against his chest, over his pounding heartbeat. His warm fingers ghosting over the back of the 20-year-old’s hand before he caught himself, recoiling carefully and let his hand drop to his side. He exhaled slowly, forcing himself up further, his whole body protesting the action. He didn’t go to his evening classes… Why. Why would he do that…
“Why? Why wouldn’t you go to your evening classes? They’re important,” Sasaki whispered, blinking several times, clearing the dizziness washing over him as he tried focusing on the emotion present on his boyfriend’s face versus the sick feeling aching in his stomach. Miyano ran a gentle hand through Sasaki’s hair, his hand trailing to his cheek. He grimaced as his fingers met the uncomfortable warmth sitting under the older’s flesh. He cleared his throat, “Well, isn’t it obvious? You don’t feel well. And I wanted to take care of you… I wanted to see you. You’re more important than missing a few classes.”
The 21-year-old let his head gradually drop against Miyano’s shoulder, hoping that the heat he felt crawling up his neck, flushed against his cheeks and ears was due to the fever he supposedly had. His orange hair falling over his face as he tried so damn hard to keep it together. Everything was getting to him right now. Miyano’s touches, his concern, his love; his own emotions washing through him in uncontrollable waves as he fought to keep himself together. But everything was starting to feel like too much. Again. His anxiety, his depression, his weak-willed mind threatening to break against the love he felt for Miyano and the love he was willing to return. Too much… it happened; more so when he felt like shit… when he had a harder time keeping himself in line… Man, Miyano. What you’ve done for me- What you do for me. I like it all, and I-I’m so anxious, so nervous I’m going to fuck it up. I’m going to mess this up… I’m so scared I’m going to ruin it… ruin you… I’m terrified I’m going to hurt you…
Cool fingers against his cheek again, dusting under his chin, pulling his head up, and Sasaki found himself blinking towards his boyfriend; concern etched into his big brown eyes. Miyano cocked his head slightly; thunder echoing outside as the curtains whipped past the open window, rain pelting harder against the sill. Wasabi scattered from the room as lightning hit the roof across the street and a car alarm blared in the distance.
“Let’s see if you have a fever, hm?” Miyano said softly, his hand steadily tracing over Sasaki’s shoulder blades as the older leaned against him, his head returning to the younger’s shoulder. Silence evaded them, filing the small room in an uncomfortable stillness...

Something I’ve noticed in Hirano to Kagiura- Kagiura is the one that always pulls away. He overthinks and pulls away because he’s afraid he’s being pushy/ that Hirano rejects it—- but in instances like hand holding or when Hirano hurt himself, Kagiura grabs him and then pulls away all flustered like, sorry!! Hirano looks shocked each time and gets mad at one point, telling him to stop doing that! I think he’s referring to Kagiura overthinking and pulling away versus the younger reaching for him. So like, when will Kagi linger longer (as suggested in the current panel- he wants more), or when will Hirano pull him back?

I think this chapter is sooo funny bc once again they’re having the same feeling!!! (Wanting to continue this pseudo dating thing) but they’re approaching it in different ways!!! Hirano feels the need to communicate to Kagiura about it bc they’ve suffered from so much miscommunication in the past, and Kagiura knows that after that whole convo about “moving on”, hiranos going to talk to him about it bc he doesn’t want to hurt/prolong this hurt, and he’s right! But his conclusion is wrong, I think it’s at this point where Kagiura realizes he’s making assumptions! And assuming that he’ll always be rejected that every bit of progress made will have to be made with sweat, blood, and tears is already selling himself short! It’s why at the end of the chapter we see Kagiura acting like he did in the beginning, like what he’s experiencing is too good to be true and he has to talk to someone about it who can level with him about how he’s supposed to interpret it, “how much hope can I have?” Or something, also I love the fact that this conflict doesn’t just ride on Hirano not experiencing romantic feelings but also Kagiura not being completely truthful about what he’s feeling, I think it was mentioned in the hide n seek chapter about this and something about Kagiura wanting Hirano to find out for himself which is so funny considering Kagiuras feelings only reached the point of no return bc of niibashi’s help 😭 idk these situations are always interesting bc Hirano points out contradictions in kagiuras behavior and Kagiura slowly leaves breadcrumbs as to what it means, so that way Kagiura will have his feelings understood not in an intellectual sense but bc he feels the same thing! Anyway KagiHira 5ever I hope they never stop being insane
ITS SO FUNNY!!!! ITS SO SO FUNNYYYY!!!! hahahahhaah. but god youre so right. they want the same damn thing all the time but they keep going about it in different ways or keep misunderstanding each other. like Yeah they were both thinking about the whole moving on thing... but kagiura completely misunderstood hirano. because he will always think its too good to be true. hes bringing up the moving on thing because hes going to reject me. its on some level a kind of self-loathing that ive been really really normal about lately. even though theyre trying the trial pseudo dating thing he doesnt 100% believe that hirano is actually trying. he thinks he has to keep begging hirano to look at him but little does he know hiranos never taken his eyes off him.
and so they both approach this Moving On conversation with selfishness. kagi selfishly begs hirano to keep trying. and he knows hes selfish and so full of desire and he kind of hates himself for it. but hirano also comes in selfishly--i dont want you to move on yet. let me keep trying. i want to understand you so desperately. and then yeah it kind of lightens up as kagi realizes what the fuck he just said and he has to be thinking about that How much hope am i allowed to have. and thank god he has niibashi to talk to about it UNLIKE HIRANO TAIGA. TALK TO SOMEONE YOU BITCH. SOMEONE WHOS NOT MIYANO. BECAUSE MIYANO IS INSANE. sorry. like you said kagi only realized the depth of his feelings after talking to niibashi. before that he was perfectly content with their relationship. hirano just really really needs to talk to somebody. even in a roundabout way. and i do hope its sasaki. sigh. anyways. also the thing about kagi hiding his feelings Yeah 1000%. and hirano pointing out the contradictions. aaauuuuhhggggg kagihira 6ever peace and love on planet kagihira

What do we thing of the few and far between Niibashi and Hirano interactions?
[ask me about any two ssmy charas and i'll give my thoughts on their dynamic, real or imagined]
he’s so relatable. If I knew my friend was crushing on someone I’d already feel weird meeting them. if I knew the extent of the wildness of hirano to kagiura I would be unable to function normally. niibashi’s a trooper.
so basically I think he’s overly conscious of hirano! which is kind of neat because he usually seems like a guy who’s like. blunt and self-assured and cool. it’s hard for him bc kagiura talks about hirano SO MUCH, so he’s got this whole perception of a guy that he doesn’t know, and he’s aware its colored in some sense, but he also doesn’t know exactly what hirano’s truth is. and that’s confusing for him because I think he’s got a sense of responsibility of like. I must not let kagi get caught up in daydreams. 1) he’ll get hurt and 2) they’re roommates and that could get so badly complicated, so let’s make sure hirano’s comfortable. but a lot of that second point is also motivated by like. kagiura likes him SO MUCH, I’ve got to treat him well. a biased self-interest towards wanting kagi to be. successful / happy etc. what a wonderful friend he is.
but because of this Awareness, there’s also a sense of embarrassment and avoidance. it’s almost like. if I met a celebrity I’d talked about I’d get so embarrassed like. HELLO. You’re not supposed to know me!!! let me analyze your thing in peace. I’m not for you to look at. You see this when niibashi jolts at hirano’s presence and then gets the hell out of there after giving him the sewing kit—he’s cheering on kagiura, but also he doesn’t want to touch that with a ten foot pole bc it feels weird to intrude on their space? third-wheeling is awkward. I mean u see this in ch 24 when kagiura runs off and niibashis like DON’T LEAVE ME HERE??? in his head and then hirano also steps out and he’s like what the fuck do I do. I’m not gonna start up conversation w/ whoever this guy (sasaki) is. and then he just heads to the gym. speaking of, there’s a bit there where he sees hirano scolding sasaki and is like. THIS is the “super kind” hirano-san? guy was probably envisioning a blond angel at first so I think that adjustment to reality is messing with him.
so if they interacted For Real, I think at first it would be hard and awkward bc niibashi would be put off-kilter by KAGI’S HUGE CRUSH hanging over them (basically the current state of affairs). after kagihira couple up though. I think niibashi would say something like “you guys are so annoying” and then get extremely embarrassed that he did that in front of hirano. bc its normal to nag at kagiura like that but not so normal to do that with a senpai. he’d be the type of guy who’d wanna be careful around hirano and then get embarrassed if he was naturally harsh or blunt in the kind way he is. and that wanting to be careful makes him unsettled. probably with enough time he would get comfortable, but I don’t think he & hirano have like… similar interests or demeanors, so I don’t really think anything like “oh my boyfriend is better friends w/ my friend than I am” would happen? still, at the end of the day they’re both thoughtful people who love kagiura. they’ll do fine.

Edo era JJK
Romantically involved characters: (Toji, Satoru, Suguru, Sukuna.)
Part 2 |
Tumblr media
Every day I reminded myself I was lucky to be born the daughter of such a wonderful father. The first and only child of a great Daimyo, Nakamiji Hirano. Recently we had been invited to another festival at the grand palace by the emperor. The ride there, father had been silent, it wasn't that he had nothing to say but that he had too much.
Father was welcomed by many men who gave me leering looks before asking when I would be married off, offering to take me as a concubine or for one of their sons. I wanted to show displeasure but my father instead took his hand in mine before denying their requests.
Yes I was very lucky, I was lucky unlike so many other girls in different clans, gifted and traded like cattle. I was still young, only 11 summers, but I listened attentively as the festivities commenced. Making note of any hushed words shared among the clans.
It wasn't until we were back in the carriages again did father let out a curse, cursing the Zen'in clan for again propositioning us.
I knew our journey would take long to return home so I occupied myself with my thoughts and watching the scenery. A little further off I spotted another carriage before something was thrown out. As we got closer and closer I realized it was a boy. Maybe 16 or 17, long black hair and—"stop the carriage!" I said as soon as I could open my mouth.
The carriage stopped harshly and I jumped out to my father's shock, he had not seen the boy yet. I tripped falling out in my hurry but didn't care. Kneeling beside the boy I rolled him over to see his face. Bruised around his eye and a severe cut thought the corner of his lip. The boy rolled over with a groan before blinking up at me, I could see panic creeping into his gaze and raised my hands with a soft hushing noise.
"It's okay. I'm not going to hurt you." I tried soothing.
From behind us my father finally got out of the carriage as well to approach. "Aya are you alright?" As he came closer he notice the deep scratches in my hand and knees. The side of my nose also scuffed.
"Father we can't just leave him."
"I understand." He agreed easily. Two of our guards lifted the boy into the carriage and set him on the floor. I frowned and kneeled beside him lifting his head into my lap so he wouldn't hit it on the floor of the carriage when we began moving again.  He groaned a couple times at some particularly hard bumps but did not regain consciousness.
When we moved him back to our home I offered to watch over him while assisting the nurse. Father only relented if I promised to not let my studies fall behind and to leave the door open.
When the young teenager regained consciousness he looked around cautiously. His eyes drifted to a girl who sat against the wall, asleep, her hands bandaged in her lap. He remembered seeing a girl fall out of her carriage to get to him and felt a tinge of guilt. Stupid girl.
His movements must've woken her because her eyelids began to flutter like two butterfly wings before focusing on him. She made work to move toward him but the second she put her hand on the floor to move she hissed and clutched it to her chest.
"I'm sorry." The boy said in a croaky unused voice.
"Are you okay?" The girl asked at the same time. The boy stalled in surprise and the girl tried again to move toward him. The girl focused on the water pitcher and glass beside his futon and with difficulty poured him a glass of water.
The boy drank the water with greedy gulps. "Thank you."
"What's your name?" The girl asked.
"Tōji." He said avoiding his last name.
Years later the boy continued to stay at the Hirano residence. Training under the guards he quickly flourished and insisted to be Hirano Hime's personal guard. But since the Hime did not often leave the property he would also go on short travels to train himself and or bring the hime back gifts.
"Toji!" A female voice said excitedly from far off before she began to run at him. He turned expecting her and caught her as she jumped into his arms. Her arms wrapped around his neck in a tight hug as he held her up by the waist.
Aya moved her head back to see him with a wide smile. "Father said you would be coming back today." She hugged him again with a relaxing sigh. He himself felt his shoulders losen and soften at her touch and only her touch.
"I wouldn't miss your birthday for the world, Hime." He said softly letting her back on the ground.
She leaned back in the embrace to nudge his shoulder, "you only turn 21 once." She joked making Toji hum. He turned around again to grab his things and the two of them began to walk to the main building as Aya recounted everything that had happened and she learned since he had last been home. "—and the Zen'in's keep sending proposals so did a few other clans but father has turned them all down thankfully. A few Daimyo will be visiting for my birthday, father was the one to invite them, he's hoping that if I do not at least marry then I will still make allies and forge friendship with them. Since your home I was hoping we could train before they come, we haven't done it in so long and father wont let anyone else train with me."
Toji mentally thanked his lord for denying the Zen'in clan any proposals. He was miffed at the idea of his Hime being proposed to. And the idea of anyone else training her... he shook his head.
"So we can't train?" The Hime asked disappointed after seeing Toji shake his head.
"We can still train if your father allows it. My head is else where, I'm sorry princess." He said the childhood nickname with a fondness that made the girls ears turn red as she looked down.
"I'll go get everything set up while you settle back in." She said before quite literally running off toward the gardens.
After sparring with the older male she and him sat in the shade under her favorite tree. Her muscles ached as she leaned forward to stretch but she smiled despite that. "It's been too long since I had fun like that." She gave Toji a sincere smile that made his heart ache. There was no deflecting when she looked at him like that.
That smile she always gave him when her eyes would close and she would just glow. It didn't matter that her hair stuck to her forehead with sweat or that she was red in the face with flush. Instead he turned his face away before he could break composure. It wasn't fair that she could look at him like that and he couldn't do anything.
"You should go get ready for your party Hime. The first guest will be arriving soon." Toji reminded her and she jumped up.
"Ah! I guess we had too much fun." She ran back to the main building to get ready.
Within the hour the first of the guest arrived. Aya and her father greeted people as they were welcomed to the party. When everyone had arrived they all took their seats in the banquet hall. Lord Hirano took the seat at the head of the table as this was his home and Aya sat beside him in a soft peachy pink kimono. A few steps behind her leaning against the wall was her ever loyal and faithful guard, Toji.
There were only 4 guests. Gojo, Geto, Nanami, Inumaki. But between all six, polite chatter and conversation flowed. Gojo who was seated closest to the Hime continued trying to bring the birthday girl into conversation. Aya would respond of course but would let herself drop out again as soon as possible much more preferring to listen than speak. Eventually Geto began telling his friend to stop bothering her making her give him a shy smile. "It's alright, I'm used to being overlooked in conversations and prefer to just listen. It's interesting the things you hear."
Gojo's eyes lit up excitedly. "Spare some juicy gossip." The Snow White haired man asked making Aya cover the lower half of her face to hide a grin.
"I would Gojo San but I much prefer to keep my secrets to myself." She responded back playfully. This lead to the two beginning to banter and eventually her speaking more with Geto too.
Her father had to take his leave before long. He kissed the top of his daughter's head and wished that she carry on with the festivities. At the same time Inumaki excused himself having not intended to stay long.
Conversation carried on until the doors to the hall were opened harshly.
Aya paused with her cup of tea halfway to her lips as she looked up. Naoya Zenin. Her lip curled at the corner before becoming impassive.
"Ara ara, it's seems my Invite got lost in the mail, Hime." He said. "I hope I haven't missed too much of the party." He closed his eyes giving a fake smile. "Ah where is the Diamyo?"
Before Aya could answer Nanami beat her to it with the same cool tempered voice he usually used. "Lord Hinaro had already retired for the night."
"Ah that's too bad I was hoping to speak with him after the party about my propositions." He said cockily sitting down at the opposite head of the table. A seat that had been left open all night out of respect.
Aya clenched the teacup saucer too tightly and it began to snap under her fingers. The sound caused the attention to again be brought to her. "I apologize." She said flicking the glass out from between her fingers. Dark red pearled at the tip of her thumb.
From the side lines, Gojo and Geto looked at each other in interest. Before sitting back to see how it would all play out. Nanami flicked his glasses higher and focused as well.
"Careful Hime, flowers like you need to be more careful." The Zenin said, his words dripping with condensation.
Aya didn't have to turn her head to see that Toji had stepped closer to her and bringing Naoya's attention to him.
"Ah I see you still keep that trash around, Hime-" before the Zenin could say more, Aya had flicked the last few pieces of glass directly at him while he blinked. The small pin sized shards cut the male's eyebrow, cheek and neck and blood began to drip from his cuts.
"Careful Naoya, you may be a Zenin but you are still in my father's territory. Speak to him like that again and I will have you removed." Aya spoke in a cold voice that dripped with venom making the Zenin flinch. Aya then stood from her pillow and brushed the glass off her kimono with a sweeping hand before shaking her head with a soft chuckle. "I changed my mind." She started softly before turning cold again. "Get out or I will have my guard personally escort you out."
"I'm not scared of some powerless freak." Naoya taunted making himself more comfortable.
By now all the tables occupants and the few servants in the room were paying attention. The men at the table each kept silent, none had actually met The Daimyo's daughter before today and were eager to see what she would do. "I see, if that's the case then you should be more worried about me."
"Hah! What can a girl like you do..." Naoya bragged.
Aya moved to go toward the Zenin and Toji came closer gently holding the back of her elbow, stopping her. She turned her head to face him with a bright smile while being obviously angry. "Ah, it's okay Toji." She said and the Male nodded back. One second she was there and the next she was holding Naoya's head back by his hair. The man's eyes were lit momentarily with fear before Aya slammed his head into the table and effectively breaking his nose.
The Zenin didn't know what to hold first, the Hime wrist to make her let go or his broken nose. The woman turned and began to forcibly drag him out of the hall by his hair before throwing him out the dining hall doors.
"See that he is taken off the property and returned home. If I see him on the property again I will personally punish those responsible." Aya ordered before brushing her hands against her kimono to smooth any wrinkles and calmly walked back to the dining hall.
"I'm sorry for that disruption. Let's carry on if possible." The Hime said bowing to her guest before making her way back to her seat.
"Hime-Chan. If you don't mind me asking, what have the Zenin proposed that has you so...furious?" Gojo asked leaning his head against his propped arm with a coy smile.
Aya set down her now cold cup of tee with a disproving huff. "It's not polite conversation." She said dismissively.
"I don't think we'd mind." Geto encouraged.
"Very well. I have a general if not extensive hate for their clan. Not just the people but also the way it is run. While most clans have kept tradition, the Zenin are fanatical. The boys are raised to believe they're better than anyone else and the girls are treated like cattle." She paused, before breathing out from her nose to control her anger. "Their proposition is that I be gifted to them as a concubine in return they do not kill someone dear to me. They have also threatened to kill my father and take me anyway. As far as I'm concerned I'd rather see their clan burnt to the ground."
Aya stood from the table again. "Like I said, it is not polite conversation. If you'll excuse me I need some fresh air." Aya bowed before leaving again out another door, this time her silent guard behind her.
When the two were far enough away from earshot, Aya leaned into the guard. "Naoya fucking Zenin! He just couldn't help himself and had to ruin a perfectly good party and now... now." She stoped unable to say more as Toji began to run his fingers down her back in a calming manner. "It's just not fair! You're stronger than the whole lot of them and they still look down on you."
"I don't care."
"I do! Those fucking psychopaths deserve to rot in shallow graves." Aya hissed in contempt. The moon catching her eyes as they glowed.
"It's fine." Toji again tried abating the rising explosive anger of the Hime.
This time she stepped away from him to stare him down. "No it is not. You are my blade, my dearest friend and only confidant. A threat to you is a threat to me, and I do not take their threats lightly. They have a bounty on your head." Small particles and rocks began to float behind the Hime. Toji frowned at the sight, the last time she got angry she exploded half the yard before being calmed down. "I should have their clan leader's head on a spike the way he treats you. You were dismissed from the clan years ago and they still see fit to threaten and order you around."
"Princess." He said softly getting her attention.
"What!"
Toji moved closer taking both her hands in his as he rested his chin over her head. Like a chain reaction her shoulder began to sink as she sagged into his chest. Exhaling a visible cloud as she calmed down. Everything floating fell back to the ground.
"I don't want to loose you." She said slowly putting her anger into soft words. Hands clenching his as she nudged the underside of his jaw. "It's not fair when you do that ya know." She pouted.
"But it works." Toji said playfully. Using his chin he tucked her head closer to him. "Would you like to return to your party or retire for the night?"
"Could we just stay like this a little longer. I'm too worked up to sleep and I don't want to socialize much more tonight. But I should still wish my guests good night or I would be a bad host." Toji nodded before escorting Aya back to the hall.
"I'm sorry gentlemen for so many disruption this evening. But I must bid you good night, you are all free to stay the night if needed and will be provided rooms." I moved to leave the room again when Gojo spoke. "Is there a chance we can carry this party over till breakfeast. You hadn't even opened your presents." He said the last part in a childish whine that made me smile tiredly.
"We will see in the morning."
Nanami left quickly after breakfast but Gojo and Geto stayed until dinner time and left after with promises to visit more often. I had liked the two. Gojo was childish but funny and Geto was quite intelligent, he liked the idea of talking to someone on the same level as him. In his own words he called Gojo a 'good for nothing airhead.' I had to chuckle remembering the offended face Gojo gave back.
The next four years followed in a same routine with either Gojo or as he preferred I call him, Satoru, and Geto, preferring Suguru, coming over. Satoru called them play dates like we were still children.
"Toji?"
"Yes princess."
"Can we go into town today?"
"Is there something we need?"
"Yes..."
We walked around town together gathering supplies for the garden and for training. I also gathered supplies to make sweets later, knowing that Satoru and Suguru would be coming over the day after tomorrow to spend two nights. I could honestly say the friendship shared was something I treasured.
In the four years since we met the Zenin had continued to threaten, even going as far as having a guard be impersonated as they tried to kidnap me. Another time they had tried assassinating Toji. I had never been so angry and if it weren't for Him I would've gone to their compound and started a war.
"Hime, is there anything else we need?" Toji asked with his hand resting on the back of my elbow to get my attention.
"Your birthday is soon, yes? You're going to be turning- 30." I paused to be sure I did the math right. He nodded and I smiled, "is there anything you want for your birthday? Maybe the day off to woo a wife?" I teased turning to face him and walked backwards.
"Princess." He groaned in distaste.
"It's an honest question, Toji. Not once since you've been my guard have you ever been on a date. It may not be up there with taking down your clan but you should give it a thought." I turned back around to continue walking. "While I enjoy having you as my guard and I by no means want to ever replace you, you shouldn't have to stay by my side forever. You deserve to be happy Toji." I said the last part quietly.
Toji looked at the princess as she walked with a slight bounce. He didn't want some crummy wife. He didn't want to woo women. What he wanted was walking three steps ahead and didn't care for that kind of thing. She didn't want a husband or a suitor. She hated the idea of concubines.
She was loud and spirited and joyful. She was so quick to defend him at any inconvenience, she didn't sweat the small stuff but she was always planning something. She wasn't shy of training and would give everything while still having fun. She cooked his favorite meals when he was quiet and joked with him until he'd laugh. She was stubborn and didn't stand down from what she believed. But if she knew she was wrong, she didn't argue or complain, instead asking to be told why. She was his light and he wanted to protect her as much as she did for him. And it seemed like every time he was catching up he was falling back behind.
She turned around again and Toji steeled his face. The smile she was giving him was different than her usually soft ones, this one was teasing. "Are you sure you're into women? Because if your not I could always ask Satoru if he kn—" Toji threw his hand over her mouth to stop her teasing. From under his hand he could feel her smile stretch into a big grin as her eyes sparkled with mischief. She had been spending too much time with Gojo.
He must've been really out of it from her teasing or maybe he was just tired but. Quickly Aya moved his hand down and pulled on it making him stumble so his face was closer to hers. Nose to nose her grin was wider and her words took on a higher pitch. "Are you really sure?"
Toji wanted to pull his hand away and shove her off, call her a brat before ordering they return home. But he didn't do that. Because they were nose to nose and he could smell the shampoo she used, see her eyes as they caught the light. Could feel the warmth of her breath against his lips. Why does she make everything so damn difficult!
He moved his hand away and flicked her forehead, distracting her enough that he could regain composure. "Just for teasing me we're going back early." He demanded making her pout.
"Welcome back Satoru, Suguru, just in time, lunch will be ready very soon!" The Hime greeted them as they got off their horses. A few steps behind was her ever loyal guard. The two men gave a short bow to the Hime before following her into the compound.
As they walked Satoru threw his arm over the Hime's shoulder with a playful grin, "what sweets did ja make this time?"
"You'll see." She said secretively. Her head moved to face Toji with a smile, "can we take lunch outside this afternoon?"
Lunch passed and they continued to lounge outside until storm clouds came to disrupt the fun. Despite Toji and Suguru wanting to return inside, Satoru and the Hime ran and played in the rain with smiles. With a secretive smile the Hime manipulated the ground under Satoru and he slipped in the mud, landing on his face.
The Hime clenched her stomach as she burst with laughter at the mud covered male. With a smile, Satoru held his arms out for a hug before chasing the Hime around the garden.
During dinner they all ate together inside as the weather had not let up any. When dinner was over they each separated to their respective rooms.
After a loud bolt of thunder the Hime woke up with a gasp. Her room was dark but with each strike of lightning the room was illuminated for a second. Someone was in her room. The next lightning strike she met her assailant head on with one of the weapons she hid in her room. She wanted to scream for Toji but the rain was so loud. After dealing with the man in her room she grabbed her coat and ran out her room to find Toji and her father. "Toji!"
Turning a corner she rammed into a chest and not knowing who it's was she took a fighting stance. "It's me, Hime." Suguru said reaching blindly for her hand.
"Sugu?" She jumped toward him in a quick hug. "There was a man in my room, I don't think he was alone."
"He's not, Satoru and Toji are dealing with some more outside."
"We need to find father." Aya said grabbing his hand and pulling him toward her father's chambers. When they got to the room they saw the side door leading outside was broken down, blood on the paper of the door. Suguru tried stopping her from running out the house but he too was a little shocked.
She slipped out of his hand and ran into the storm. A light haired boy brought down a blade on the Daimyos chest causing him to scream. "Father!!" Aya screamed running to the scene. Rocks and small pieces of dirt began to float around her as she ran. The light haired boy ran and seemingly disappeared into nothing. Aya got to her father first and held his hand while checking him over. "It's just a scratch. It's okay. You'll be okay, right?"
"My dearest daughter, *cough* beware the challenges you now face."
"No no, we're gonna face them together, right!? You still have to help me find a place in this world! Don't!"
"I loved your mother so much *cough* that nothing else mattered until we had you. She would be so happy to see how strong you are.... We love you, Aya." He gave a final cough before going still.
"No." That one word was said quietly and after that everything stood still, the rain stopped falling as it halted mid air. Suguru who was standing behind her on the defensive looked around himself in surprise, was this her?
From the other side of the compound Toji looked at the sky in shock and slight fear. He cursed before ignoring his opponent entirely to run to where Aya was. There was only one reason she could be this distraught.
Suguru tried hugging the Hime, anything to help her calm down. But he could practically taste the cursed energy as the air became heavier with it. He backed up in fear as the feeling was overwhelming.
"Hime!" A voice shouted from across the yard.
More and more things were being ripped from the ground as they began to float alongside her. The garden shed was one thing as it was brought into the air in pieces, her favorite tree to follow. He's dead! He's dead.he's dead.he's dead. He's dead. It repeated in near loop only causing her more distress. No sounds could be heard aside from the sound of her own voice in her head. She didn't feel the hands grabbing at her tightly, begging her to look at him. Her head lolled before her eyes met his.
"He's dead." She whispered so brokenly and then everything began exploding. Everyone ducked and Toji covered her with his body. Her arms came around his neck as she buried her face in his shoulder and began to cry. Each time she hiccuped something else would explode near them but despite that not once was any of them hit by debris. When the explosions died down all three men looked around to see the area was destroyed and partly on fire.
Gojo was the first to speak, "what the hell was that?!" His six eyes were being overwhelmed from the onslaught of colours and cursed energy in the air
"Her." With that simple word both Gojo and Geto looked down at you passed out. "You may use your cursed technique and call it a blessing oh 'honored one' but she doesn't have that luxury. At her worst she could kill you without intent and your six eyes could never save you." Toji pulled her into his chest to hold her, one hand going under her legs and the other supporting her neck before standing to carry her back inside.

hirano typology analysis <3
Tumblr media
okay, everyone! let's start off from this page first thing first.
Tumblr media
as you can see he's typed estj 1w2 but let's go further in this:
estjs are te-fi si-ne axis based which means his te and his si need fi and ne to function (this axis is applied for ti-fe se-ni as well and goes both ways).
(for anyone who doesn't know how this works: cognitive function in a stack of 8 make a type AND it's shadow type (your "opposite" type) as you can see in the screenshot up there functions are set this way: introvert > extr. > intr > extr. OR extr. > intr. > extr. > intr.)
let's start with his dom-aux stack
honestly, i believe he's an estj as well so im going to stick with this typing.
his dominant function is Te, i think this guy has an unbearable amount of Te here 😭
up to now I've noticed he is:
- rational
- more in his head than his heart
- pragmatic
- focused on efficiency
- very responsible
- direct (says what he thinks in your face even if it might hurt you (for ex. like when he rejected kagi for the first time)
as for his Si, which is high as well, this is what I've noticed:
- respects traditions (doesn't mean he supports them but he has nothing against them)
- sense of duty and responsibility
- he needs structure and order
- he's loyal
- resistant to major changes
- stubborn
- tidy
actually about his dominant function (between Te and Si) i have something to say about his Fi in the tert-inf stack. i think he uses much more Fi than Ne so I'd move it to tert. position and put Ne in inf. that'd make him an istj tho. in the latest chapter we can see how he thinks it's "right" not to stop Kagi from moving on but it's not an action of pure morality since sensei's shown us his whole reasonment. we can see that it's more of a "rational morality" which in a in a typology aspect is clearly Te and Fi working together. Still, i think both an istj and estj typing are correct since there's only a difference in the functions positions (estj: Te-Si-Ne-Fi istj: Si-Te-Fi-Ne).
okay now comes my fav part of typology!
enneagram, tritype and instinctual variants!
im gonna note them here so I don't have to scroll up over and over again.
enneagram: 1w2
tritype: 152
instinctual variants: so/sp
alright, so. I'd make some changes here.
first thing, his enneagram. i think e1 is correct for him since e1 is a perfectionist who thinks they have some kind of mission, they're usually systematic and responsible (in his case his self-given mission could be helping kagi with his studies for ex.) while for his w2, i honestly don't know because e2s help others out of a personal gain (to feel better about themselves) which I don't think is hirano's case because he genuinely helps others even if he doesn't get anything in return. he could be a 1w9 in my opinion. type 9s look for harmony and peace and fear having their harmony shaken/broken which could be related to his change avoidance? i think it's surely better than 1w2 (since type 2s are subconsciously selfish and he isn't selfish at all).
tritype: i think it's correct, although I wouldn't type him an e5 since he's not shown us he likes to collect knowledge "just because"
instinctual variants: I don't think so/sp is accurate, he's probably an sx/so. from my point of view it's like he values his close relationships more, by this i mean it's like he's completely comfortable with only one person (which is kagi) and I wouldn't change the social typing
we reached the end of my analysis!
it's probably confusing since my thought process is very messy to begin with, I'm sorry if it seems like that 😭
