I said I would start to tell you little stories about me, so you can get to know me better. Don't forget to tell me about you too! My full name is Gypsy Sunshine Buick. I was named after my mom's best friend, who changed her name from Jennifer to Gypsy. She and her husband Joaquim lived in a wooded gypsy truck. Also named after Ken Kesey's daughter Sunshine. My mom liked that name a lot, her mother's name was Mountain Girl, who later married Jerry Garcia. My mom used to hang out with the Greatful Dead before they got really famous. I was born in a cabin in the woods in Canada. My mom and dad built their own home on an acre of land they bought for 400 dollars. My mom used to tell me she quit the US for being persecuted by cops and after the Kennedys were assasinated. I was called Sunshine all through school. I eventually started going by Sunny because I got tired of all the questions people ask when you introduce yourself. I made this rug, a hand painted rug, it's a thing! Our biggest fear is that being ourselves is NOT enough. - And that’s also the BIGGEST lie you could ever believe. (I did for a long time, so I promise you- it’s not a fun life) - I’m here to be FULLY me. 100% real; the good, bad, and the ugly - And I’ve seen a lot of new faces recently- so I wanted to RE-introduce myself! :D - 1. I’m Leanna Sowards👋🏽 (illegal last name Bc I have yet to change it from my maiden name, Krueger😂) 2. I’m left handed & right brained, & I’m not sure if these are related but I know that it takes me longer to “get” most jokes than ANYONE else I know...🙈 3. In 8th grade I got hit by a car- and literally saw my life flash before my eyes😳 only to wake up and learn that God had much bigger plans for me than I ever thought possible😇 4. I’ve been writing & singing since before I could talk (and will most days still sing a response to you rather than say it, unknowingly🙈...) 5. My mom is my bestie. My biggest role model. And also a LEGIT hippy. So of course I’m a wannabe✌🏽😇(and we talk on the phone at least 1x per day💗) 6. Anywhere I go- the beach goes too.🌴So if the sunshine’s out, be sure to note I’ll be getting my tan on- regardless of where we actually are💁🏼‍♀️ 7. I’ve been practicing yoga for almost 7 years now🧘🏼‍♀️and prefer doing it with friends during spontaneous adventures. 8. My husband and I have an rv named Phoebe. She was flooded-so we saved her & are giving her a beautiful new life (as our soon to be home!)🚃 9. I recently quit my job as a barista to go FULL time as a virtual health&fitness coach and I still kinda can’t believe it��😍 10. AS a coach, every month I host fitness accountability groups where women empower women- to be THEIR healthiest & happiest selves.(And I couldn’t be MORE excited that I get to wake up everyday to do that.) - Ok.
