“I uhm-… I might have to reenlist if I don’t find a job soon” Eddie says, dragging his hands across his face, feeling a few beads of sweat forming near his temples. He doesn’t want to reenlist, he doesn’t want to leave Christopher behind again, he can’t do that to him. Not when he moved to another state just to be able to keep seeing him. Shannon had gotten a job offer that she couldn’t refuse and Eddie had willingly accepted that if they were to co-parent, he had to come with them.

And the last thing he’d expected was to meet someone as amazing as Buck, so loving and caring and kind and so proud of who he is. Eddie wishes that he could be like him, be happy with who and what he is. Surely, he’d come out to Shannon and Christopher but not to the world. He wasn’t ready for that. Maybe he’d never be ready and that scared him too because Buck…Buck makes him feel whole.

And even though he wasn’t ready to share his feelings with the world, he knew that he didn’t want to leave Buck behind either.

The concern spreads instantly across Buck’s face, forming deep creases on his forehead and even small lines around his eyes. “I won’t let you do that, Eds. You can’t do that to yourself. Or to Christopher” or to me, the last part remains unspoken because he knows that he might just be pushing Eddie away instead of holding him close. “There has to be another way”

Eddie exhales deeply, the fear almost palpable as he stares at a blank space right behind Buck’s head. He knows that if he looks at him for too long, those soft, blue puppy eyes will win him over. Without a doubt, he knows that he’s in love with Buck but he doesn’t know how to show it. Yet.

Instead, he reacts in a manner that he can only recognize as coming from his father. He halfway flies out of his seat and drags his fingers almost desperately through his hair. “Don’t you think that I’ve thought about that? Do you think I want to leave my kid behind again?”

Do you think I want to leave you behind?

“That’s not what I’m saying, Eddie. I’m saying that I want to help you” Buck replies, not reacting to Eddie’s outburst but instead stretches his hand out carefully, touching Eddie’s side with his fingertips.

Oh.

The silence lingers for a moment before Eddie speaks again, this time realizing that maybe he has to react differently. “I’m just-…”

“Scared. I know. But we can work it out. Together. Okay?”

“Okay” Eddie agrees despite the fact that he’s fighting every fiber of his being. A real man doesn’t need help from others, his father’s words echoes in his head.

Disco Kid - has a very wide range of games he enjoys, but prefers chaotic games (goat simulator, cooking simulator, etc) and enjoys chaos in general, especially enjoys phasmophobia

King Hippo - thinks papa's pizzeria and the other sequels are neat, likes flash games

Piston Hondo - loves rhythm games, like project sekai and rhytm heaven, also has a knack for horror games

Bear Hugger - sucks at games but also enjoys party games, hes really good at tetris though

Great Tiger - likes farming games and finds the peaceful aura they have interesting

Don Flamenco - sims player, can and will go all out on packs & expansions and mods his game a lot, has whlcked whims on his game and gets jumpscared anytime he forgets to turn off autonomous actions

Aran Ryan - Really likes sandbox games that really have no aim and goals, enjoys random stuff

Soda Popinski - likes simple games like tetris & candy crush, give him anything more complex than that and he'll lose within a second

Bald bull - prefers not to play video games as he has broken monitors before, but sometimes plays the sims and sets everything on fire for no reason and sometimes joins the others when theyre playing multiplayer stuff

Super Macho Man - only plays games made for him/ inspired by him, no free advertising

Mr Sandman - has a knack for chaotic games, especially multiplayer ones, usually plays with the rest of the WVBA, thinks pokemon games are nice

Tolaas was standing on the street corner giving directions to a tourist couple when all of a sudden his 'Hunting senses went off. He went dead silent and whirled around just as he heard a loud screech-growl. He pushed the couple out of the way a moment before the ShadowDemon slammed into him.

He hadn't even had a chance to grab one of his weapons before he was clinging onto the snout of the rampaging beast. Blacker than night, looking slick as if made of oil, the rhino-crossed-with-a-hippo-and-elephant thing ran through the street slamming into cars.

Tolaas had managed to climb up a bit on his snout, clinging to the other side of the horn now, and managed to escape being bashed. There was another deep screech-growl that came from deep within the ShadowDemon.

Using its eight legs, it leaped into the air and tried to shake Tolaas off of its horn, and succeeding. He flew into the air. But instead of panicking, all of his 'Hunting instincts and vampire instincts went into overdrive.

As he fell quickly to the ground, Tolaas flipped in midair and grabbed the sawed-off from his back as he did so, and landed on his feet. With hesitation, he immediately started running after the thing.

He fired one shot, and then another. But each time. the damned beastie had swerved in the road to smash into another vehicle. In fact, it was pretty much making a mess of the whole road, knocking cars into each other and flipping them over.

With a growl of his own, Tolaas ran faster, running up over cartops and jumping from car roof to car roof until he'd nearly caught up with the ShadowDemon.

He focused, kept pace with the beast, and then leaped out and toward the 'Demon. And...

...he missed, crashing to the ground and rolling. "Fuck!" he exclaimed. Once again, he was up and running. If he didn't bring this beastie down soon, even more people would be hurt and he couldn't have that.

But the ShadowDemon was started to gain ahead again. Tolaas raised his sawed-off again, and took his shot once more. It hit it. Right in the ass, The beast gave out a screechy yell, then a monstrous growl. Suddenly, it started to slow down.

And here came the news vans and cameras and even more people to get hurt. He already hated the fact that so many people had been taking video and pictures on their phones and posting it on social media (which would be taken care of Terran and Joshua and Co soon enough), but he hated the news out like this. (Of course, Terran and Co would take care of this soon enough, too, but that was another matter.)

He'd never had to chase a ShadowDemon this large through a city before, so this thing had some strength and stamina. And Tolaas was starting to slow down. He might have been a vampire, but he was a Living Vampire, which meant breath, which he was quickly running out of.

˗ˏˋ 𓂃 (  rabia  soyturk.  cis  woman.  she/her ).  meet  kismet  ozdemir,  a  24  year  old,  who  has  been  in  cloyne  for  her  whole  life.  they  are  a  paralegal  at  patel  &  co  law  firm,  known  for  being  tenacious  and  abrasive.  they  are  often  heard  humming  along  to  bad  dream  baby  by  hippo  campus.  residents  have  labeled  them  the  princess.

tw for kidnapping, parental death, car crash

kismet has been coddled and spoiled all her life.

most of it due to the fact that she was kidnapped as a small child while at the park with her mom. she w as found a few hours later alone, unharmed, and the perpatrator was never found. some speculated kismet simply wandered off on her own, that she was never kidnapped, others say she even as a six year old kismet was too much for anyone to handle.

she was twelve when her parents died, the youngest of her siblings, still in elementary school. it was a car crash, and to this day she prefers walking everywhere.

kismet is bold, loud, a real pain in the ass. she holds grudges for life and has never been that great at sharing.
