I was super bored in class the other day, and because I wasn't in the front row I couldn't start mindlessly scrolling through tumblr so I ended up writing 2000+ words of half life fanfiction. I'm not entirely sure how that happened but tbh I'm liking it so far

Kathy’s Cafe located down the 563 Batchawana Bay.

Homemade food.

…. Talking to the owner, this cafe came to be after the passing of her 42 year old daughter Kathy in a car accident. The two of them had wanted to open a cafe and tried for years but were unsuccessful. After Kathy’s passing, her mom decided to try again and now has a beautiful cafe in her daughters honour 💕 …

A beautiful portrait hangs in the cafe in tribute of her gorgeous daughter (see picture).

If you’re in the area this is a wonderful and quiet place to dine and every day she has a special. I’ve heard that her pizza is amazing too !!! Oh, and DO NOT forget to buy a cinnamon bun because they are delicious !!! 🚙 …. Kathy’s Cafe

Okay but I haven’t seen anyone else mention this, when Jekyll’s in the subconscious and has a board of papers comparing him and Hyde we mostly see notes on Hyde but if you look in the bottom right corner,

Visited New York for the weekend from Florida and my main take away is that I need Disney to please lobby Florida to build monorails everywhere

half life 2 if it was truly optimized

Feeling nostalgic for good fpses again and want to go back to my half life 2 playthrough

But last time I played it it gave me terrible motion sickness and idk if I want to deal with that this weekend

Which really sucks because that is a great game, an absolutely terrific game, probably the best game I've ever played both from a story telling and game design perspective, and you just don't get games like that anymore

Sometimes a small throwaway detail just comes to me to fill in a space for a description and then I start peeling at it and it's Fucking Rad.

Jody giving Lucifer a pocket knife for Christmas because every man-shaped person in middle America has a pocket knife and it doesn't matter that he can snap rebar with his hands. And she picks one with a mother of pearl handle, green for the most part with a white dove in flight at the end, and thinks the white wings are the important part.

But, it's the full story. It's about a dove that was cast out of the Ark to search for land over an endless ocean by the patriarch of humanity, with little regard for if that dove would find any rest or respite aside from the hungry dark ocean below it, because the needs of the Ark were greater than the risk of the dove. And the dove flew, and flew, and when it found land, the ocean of green probably looked like salvation. And that dove found rest on an olive branch, before returning to the Ark, taking a single leaf with it.
