I’m so ☹️! I just finished watching the series and Hiei decided to stay behind in demon world FOR Mukuro. I also this intro they made for him (they also made one for Kurama and Kuwabara) and he saw Mukuro as a beautiful angel he couldn’t reach. Then I watched the into/outro extras and one of the ending songs Kuwabara was teasing Hiei about his “girlfriend” Mukuro and that he was her lover boy and he never dismissed anything as untrue, he just got mad at being exposed in front of everyone. Man, my Hiei x Botan heart just ripped in two, I knew HB never happened but I never realized the Hiei x Mukuro pairing was this strong.

This feels a lot like the anti-HB anon from yesterday. If it is, please get a life. Shippers aren’t going to stop shipping something just because you don’t like it. Your behavior is beyond pathetic. 🤭

In the extremely slight chance that this is a new anon, don’t fret! Sure, there are lots of interactions between Hiei and Mukuro, but that shouldn’t stop you from shipping what you like. Canon doesn’t have to bind you to its ships, you are free to do as you please. ✌🏽

One night, Hiei makes a decision to protect Kurama by leaving him without saying goodbye and leaving a Hiruiseki stone necklace as a gift to remember him by.

But when he gets news from Yusuke and Kuwabara that Kurama is missing, Hiei goes with them and tries to figure out what happened to him and why would someone take him.

Yu Yu Hakusho x Oshi to Ame Special Collaboration at FavoteriA

The lollipop saga continues. Now, it's cute chibi chara!

This is the second collaboration of the candy brand "Oshi To Ame" (Ouchi de) and Yu Yu Hakusho. This time, it's a Yu Yu Hakusho Café that will take place at FavoteriA, in Ikebukuro. Drinks, Candies and Goods will be available. Some merch from the 1st collab are going to be sold at the cafeteria, and some merch from this event will also be sold on "Ouchi de" at a later date.

I'm impressed by the number of characters from this collab. Practically, the most important characters from all the seasons are here, even some members of the Reikai SDF. Eikichi on the top of Kuwabara's head is too cute.

Biggest fic writing challenge for me right now: fixing the Mukuro shit because tbqh I hate how it’s handled in the show and I think it makes very little sense from a writing perspective

But man I could endlessly bitch about how much I hate the handling of Hiei in the 3 Kings Saga. Maybe one day I’ll actually write it out in some dumb meta posting shit but. Ughh.

Like I find it so dissatisfying and poorly executed that I, someone for whom Hiei x Mukuro borders on a NOTP, have considered writing fix-it fic for them. I HATE THIS SHIP AND I STILL THINK ITS SHIPPERS DESERVE BETTER.
