My work for the Tokyo Ghoul pair up event with the wonderful writer @tg-headcanons !! PSYB is the best thing that happened to me this year and it helped me through my hardest time of the year so I'm really grateful.

Since we're supposed to make something based on the same prompt I decided to draw the ghoulfuckers club wedding, based on your headcanon. I have a lot of fun doing these and I'm planning to do more in the future so stay tuned!!

Since I saw you talking about this I'll say something that has been on my chest for awhile in regards to Tokyo Ghoul, and I promise I'm not trying to drag you into a ship war (which I think Tokyo Ghoul fandom is not very into ship wars? So good news?)

I can never get on board with Touken as canon ship. Not that I find HideKen more compelling (even as lifelong yaoi girlie) but yes x1000 times yes to EtoKen. It just makes so much sense and provides such juicy dynamic, two one eyed ghouls with mommy/daddy issues. Come on!

But also I feel like Touka was in the story sort of in the beginning as a generic tsundere and in :re she just... becomes the love interest if that makes sense? I sort of don't know if Ishida is just bad at writing romance and attraction (although UtaYomo exists and is rife with that cannibalism symbolism but it also seems just like HideKen very very once sided) or Touka is just as many manga female characters flattened in service of providing more context to the men.

Anyway. Yes to EtoKen. We deserved it. We totally did.

I'm glad you like Etoken, but like I'm not super interested in criticizing TG's ending more. Especially since I got angry anons in my inbox for even the lightest criticism back in the day. I'm still shell shocked from that, lol.

my favorite kaneki ships in order are;

tsukikane. either pre or post tsukiyama character development. i like it all. i will hold off from infodumping for now but i have sooooo many thoughts. also it reminds me of my bf prinny, hes like taukiyama :D

hideken. warms my soul. so safe nd comfy and aaaaaaaaa

touken. it is okay not my fave i feel like it was a bit forced (it should have been me not her)

in jp community, the 'dominant' roled character is alwys in the front name, while the 'submissive' role is the second part. kaneki is so soft and sweet he will always be a sub and aaaa. like even centipede i think is sub, just a brat.

I could’ve sworn the fic count for HideKane on AO3 was over 1,800.  Looks like about 100 fics were probably deleted or something.  I guess it’s another sign of the fandom slowly dying.  （◞‸◟）
