yan scara would be a true menace to anyone artist he's commissioned to draw his darling. he becomes a backseat painter. critiques every sketch sent his way, scoffing at their incompetence because they forgot a freckle in an important place or how the sunlight hits your hair during the golden hour. at one point the artists swears that scaramouche's counting each individual eyelash to make sure the numbers line up.

once scara is finally content with the art made in your likeness, the artist makes some comment about how they hope you'll enjoy their work.

scara blanks for a moment but brushes them off.

no one beside himself needs to know all these paintings, sculptures, and sketches are solely for his viewing pleasure...

occasionally acts as a camarilla "enforcer" despite being a chronic masquerade breaker himself. Somehow maxed out his presence powers just weeks after his undeath

diamila (died 26 currently 45) the middle aged best friend. Also canon fledgling > spent the last 20 years playing attack dog for the camarilla and doesn't feel like she has anything to show for it

ventrue, maxed out dominate, very high firearm skills. Has never killed anyone to feed. def did it for other reasons though

Cressida (died 65. currently 65, looks like she's in her 40s because she was a ghoul) clan tremere's newest embrace, she had been picked by her sire 20 years before her death. She was already a ghoul during the events of vtmb, and has known and disliked diamila for over a decade. Ambitious but fiercely loyal to her clan, she ends up butting heads with the equally ambitious but much less trustworthy ventrue

brooklyn (died 21 currently 40) an unpredictable vampire whose allegiances change every couple weeks. kept around because of her frequent (although cryptic) visions and her coming across as relatively saner than the average malkavian. emphasis on coming across.

eden (died 24 current 43) an anarch malk who pretends hes a brujah. has the same sire as brooklyn and they were dating before they were turned. Hackerman. Doesn't experience visions of the future and barely seems to be afflicted by the clan curse. or does he > his curse is his portrait came out kind of bad here

If we're talking about hidden visuals then this is the guy lmao. The fact that there's so much emphasis in his actual looks, that even Irina had dedicated a whole section of her fashion check on just his face alone is taking me out.

Like wdym there's a whole bishie in the class and we wouldn't have known at all if Koro hadn't dressed him up one time during his arc 😭

"Caput Draconis!"

The Fat Lady has guarded the Gryffindor Common Room for centuries, letting students into their home-away-from-home... if they have the password, of course!

This is the project that got me into making cc in the first place. At the end of 2020 I was building my own version of Hogwarts. I had far fewer packs and I was searching out Harry Potter-related cc to incorporate. I finally reached the Gryffindor Common Room and of course needed The Fat Lady's portrait as the entrance. Except I couldn't find one. Although I'd had one for TS3, I couldn't find an acceptable one for TS4. So I tried learning how to convert objects. I had no idea how to use blender, my texture modifier was Paint and I was teaching myself how to use TSR Workshop and Sims4Studio as I went along.

Needless to say, I failed spectacularly. The doors just didn't work. I had no idea what I was doing. I managed to follow all the steps for converting... except I was basing it on a tutorial for a deco object. Guess what doesn't get covered in such a tutorial? Weights. I ended up giving up on the door conversion, sticking the fat lady onto a base game door's texture and settling for that. Then I made paintings. Because those were doable, and moved on from there.

I actually came back to this project last May and tried again. With a few more years of experience and reading the forums I had a better idea of how to use everything and I knew weights were a thing, so I tried modifying those. I actually, somehow, made a door that functioned as a portal, except sims just stepped through the painting, at least in some cases. It failed but not as bad.

So now, nine months later, having worked with weights on several projects now (converting the Cashcraft beds most recently, as well as the various earrings from last Simblreen), I figured it was time to try again. And it worked! I got everything weight painted correctly, I actually cut up the painting mesh so it could move and now I have a proper door. The only issue is that it's a little small... but that's for a subsequent project. There is also a little bit of gapping at certain angles between the painting and the door on the reverse, but it shouldn't be too noticeable. I'm so glad I can move this from WIPs to my Completed Projects folder!

The Fat Lady is Base Game Compatible and comes in nine swatches so you have options for the reverse door (which is based on the base game six-paneled door).

I used the same base painting mesh that I adapted from @thejim07.
