What’s truly disappointing about Dex’s character is the lack of self expression on him. People stopped being like. weird about vampires a while ago (in the "I don't mind that you're a vampire but I'm not letting you inside unless I have a stake on me" way, people still want to fuck vampires) but Valsartan keeps forgetting that and so he kind of just keeps running with his old over complicated reasons for why he's Like That™ instead of thinking of normal ones.
