TF141 Types of Men they like Most (all of them are bi)
Ghost: looks-wise, he likes two types: a man who can keep up with him athletically— in other words, a fellow soldier— or a twink. He can’t resist a skinny academic type. I hc that this is because his first boy crush in secondary school was this adorable nerdy kid with big oversized glasses who tutored him in English and history. You never forget your first crush. As for personality, Ghost likes a man who’s gonna be a bit of a shit to him. Annoy him. Call him on his bluff! It’s good for him. But he also likes a sweet man, sweet and nerdy like his first crush. Maybe he’s just a nerd lover, who knows.
Soap: Johnny, like the rest of his squad, is never ever going to beat the allegations of blue collar/soldier men being attracted to alt/punk/goth types. So he tends to fiend over quiet, sultry type of men. He’s fine with them being bigger or smaller, but Emo and goth guys can Get It. Tragically, however, Soap’s only so far been able to successfully take home fellow gym rats. But he has hope! As for personality, well. He likes the more quiet and introverted type of guys to contrast with his loud, boisterous personality. But he won’t say no to a fellow sunshine boy.
Price: he realized quite late in his life that he was bisexual, so he’s had quite an exploratory period to try and determine what kind of men he likes. Generally speaking, he tends to veer towards fellow bears and older gentlemen, because he’s a little concerned about just how many twenty-something twinks and femboys he attracts, like a fucking porch light attracting moths. It’s ridiculous to watch when he steps into the gay bars. He’s flattered, boys! But he doesn’t want to date anyone more than eight years under his age. However, he has dated a young artist and goth or two. Physically wise, he likes someone shorter than him because he likes being the Strong One in a relationship. Personality? Same as with women, someone emotionally mature and kind who knows what he wants. And maybe mouths off to him to he can do some brat taming.
Gaz: oh, Gaz loves a himbo. He watched the Disney Hercules at a tender age and that Wonder Boy has lived in his brain rent-free ever since. He also likes nerdy types, like Ghost, and their taste in men often aligns without realizing it. He just likes a sweet, kinda dumb guy. In fact, for a while, I hc that Gaz harbored a small crush on Soap for similar reasons— before it became clear that Johnny MacTavish was just a little too rambunctious for him to handle. But yes, Gaz likes a well-built guy, likes fellow soldiers, likes another guy he can geek out about favorite movies and shows together. For Gaz, it’s a little more comfortable for him to develop a friendship with a man before pursuing a relationship. However, on occasion, Gaz can and will fiend for a dilf the way he fiends for milfs.

sorry if this is silly to ask but where did the joe bisexual talk come from?
not trying to start speculation or some shit i am just confused 😭 ik pete is the one sort of semi unconfirmed bi one but now i recently notice joe also being called bi…is it a bit? or part of a bit but also at the same time are people realizing joe has said stuff that may indicate hes queer or smth… SORRY this is stupid to ask i am just dumb
NOT SILLY TO ASK AT ALL lol it’s largely like. lighthearted based on fruity things he has said and done and i’ve compiled some things that people point out under the cut (this isn’t like meant to be real trutherism for joe being bisexual obviously it’s up to whatever the fuck he says and also not that it actually matters anyways since he’s been with one person for the last 20 years lol)
Tumblr media
this post in particular is one i think about a lot because it’s a neat little compilation of a lot of his fruity moments lol. NEVER BEATING THE ALLEGATIONS I FEAR
Tumblr media
having sex with multiple wo(men)
Tumblr media
dude crushes…
youtube
looking for another moustache to kiss his moustache…in the same interview that he says being gay is fantastic? inch resting…
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
kissing men…(first pic iykyk)
also talking VERY enthusiastically about kissing patrick in particular lol
Tumblr media Tumblr media
lewd gestures with a bottle (my gifs from here wink wonk self promo)
and then also people have dreamt about joe coming out as bi so yknow. maybe prophetic dreams, i made this in reply to one of them for funsies
Tumblr media
lastly, since i can’t put too many clips here, my fobtwt friend richie has a great thread on joe fruity moments here.
this isn’t absolutely everything but it’s all the examples that come to mind lol
like i said this is not meant to be trutherism bc obviously it’s up to joe to determine what he is lol but i think much of his conduct points to being a kinsey 1.5 or 2 at least 😭 i always think about that post someone made (i dont rmr who rn…) that said that fob should bring back m&gs so they can hand out pamphlets on bisexuality to the guys. anyways no one be mad at me for this it’s all kind of lh and jokes and innocent etc 😇

Re afro-dominican book!Percy and how foul and fake the fandom is with it because i can never shut the fuck up(as i shouldn't),y'all not only don't write him as a black man but y'all don't even write him as PERCY JACKSON which is what makes him work as afro-dominican to begin with
Can he call Sally Mamí?Can her and Paul be black love since he's giving dorky black sitcom dad and dosen't have an in-text race either? Can we keep Laura as her mom's name like we were originally given since it's a normal name for a latina? Can Percy be short for Perseo? Can he be transfem bigender and a black femme? Can he have black hairstyles?Baby dreads in TLT,wicks in TTC,twists in TLO,afro for most of SON as he dosen't remember what styles he likes but dreads by the finale, adding beads in MOA and long locs by the time he's 19?Can he be monoracial instead of a cringe ass instagram lightskin and work as commentary on black and latino stereotypes i.e being poor with a deadbeat birth dad and a physically abusive stepdad and how it's not the fault of black people our intergenerational trauma has been used against us by colonizers who literally made it worse for us historically? Can he overcome them by being literal royalty on his BLACK-greek's dad side and the best greco-roman hero ever in-universe?
Can part of Sally's love for the sea come from being dominican? Can she have passed that down to her Tesoro Perseo not JUST because of Poseidon but also as afro-carribean raising? Can Percy be crustpunk, afropunk, seapunk AND solarpunk because the sea does not like to be restrained? Can she be autistic with no masking game and that's another big reason she's an outcast even amongst other demigods and why her mortal world childhood was even worse than their's?Can she know how to diy things that don't even exist and play video games only on seconshands/emulators/phones for anti-capitalist principal and go to thrift stores and drink energy drinks but only the blue flavors and have a preference for the tropical ones and do deep dive research on punk culture? Can she love female rappers and punk rock and Lo-Fi beats and hipop? Can he be trilingual? Can he be a skincare and haircare king? Can he have blue durags and blue bonnets and blue hair beads?
Can y'all let the 'slutty bisexual' allegations go seeing as he's obviously demisexual? Can his type not be blondes but black women, which not only has an in-universe basis thanks to canon Percabeth and Leah Jeffries combo but is also mythological accurate as names have powers in Pjo and Percy's namesake was married to Andromeda, the princess of ETHOPIA?Can Percy and Leah be black solidarity even just platonically? Can they bond and be close and not have poor Leah be forced into 'black hair means boy and blonde hair means girl' syndrome, especially because book!Annabeth explicitly hates being blonde and y'all fake clowned her for it only to make actual darkhaired Annabeth blonde so you're automatically faker than she is cause at least she meant that shit and the universe granted her wish? Can Rachel be nigerian yoruba and them black anarchist besties at Goode High as Rachel teaches him how to do protests and takes him to charity events and they graffiti public property together and them be in love and dating for a bit and being even closer post breakup with no regrets to past Perachel? Can Thalia and Jason be black/white mixed with Jason a natural dirty blonde browneyed lightskin and Thalia darkskin with almost all of Zeus' looks as per canon so Jercy can be black mlm so it's ruined for horndog nonblack freaks and we can get even alt black rep?
Can Nico be black too to defy the 'black girl always has white siblings' trope and disregard him being described as 'a scrawny white boy' by Hazel since y'all disregard everythin' about Percy like seeing Nico as a little kid-HIS little kid even-to make him sexually harrass him over getting over him because your younger siblings don't love you and you creep minors in fandoms out?Can Nico,Hazel and Percy be a black siblings trio? Can he basically be their dad and Sally legally be their guardian because Hades is a fucking abusive freak? Can Hazel be explored on since she's got infinitely more going for her than any background characters y'all obssess over and Nico be recognized as the precious traumatized lil boy he is instead of just an edgecase,BOTH of which Percy sees them as canonically?????Can he have a backbone against the gods as he does, again,CANONICALLY,instead of pathetically emulating them like Luke and take direct action and fix the system himself?
Can he love latino memes and legos and Pokemon? Can he dunk on Hp fans for being geeks instead of freaks? Can he own dominican flag merch? Can he call Nico and Hazel 'Papito and Mamita'?In DC aus,can he be Duke Thomas' Super instead of being forced into Tim Drake's core cast or worse yet adopted by Batbags? And in Marvel aus,can he be a Spiderpunk Variant since like how he's not Batkid-coded but Kryptonian human hybrid-coded,he's not Peter Parker-coded but Hobie Brown-coded?Can be he brutal and unrestrained and tough yet salty sweet and gentle?IT IS 2024,ENOUGH WITH THE RESPECTABILITY POLITICS IN FUCKING PJO HCS OF ALL PLACES,I DON'T PERCY TO BE PALPABLE,I WANT HIM TO BE A NIGGA!!!!!!!!!!!

arthur x cullen 🙈🌝
OKAY so I actually had to watch through the romance for this because I never played it myself and especially not with a Circle mage either.
If they were actually compatible (read: Cullen was bisexual), Arthur would not be beating the templar fucker allegations, for a time. He did actually flirt with Cullen in Haven before promptly snapping out of it because, y'know, that's the Commander of the Inquisition and he's trying to get over the whole 'being with a Templar' thing after 20 years with one and then four years of a lack of closure that only comes about when investigating the Red Templars. That's a lot of baggage for Arthur to have by himself, even before you consider Cullen's own history and trauma.
But I don't think the relationship would last. At some point or another, Arthur's sense of duty would kick back in and he'd end the relationship just like he did with Simon. That their positions and duties come first, and to continue their relationship into something truly serious would compromise the Inquisition. And he needs someone like Cullen to be able to watch him for signs of possession because of how vulnerable he is to it as a spirit healer; and Cullen refuses to answer that particular question if you're playing a mage. Strange to say, but I think that'd actually be the dealbreaker for Arthur. He needs that guarantee, because becoming an abomination terrifies him.
Also, it has to be said. Cullen is far too pretty for Arthur. He likes his men big and on the more rugged side lmao.

( GAVIN LEATHERWOOD, CISMALE, HE/HIM) ⌇ have you seen DEACON LOCKE around icaria? they are the TWENTY-FIVE year old child of NYX. they remind me of SHADOWS ON A MOONLIT NIGHT, SILENT FOOTSTEPS, and THE COOL MORNING AIR RIGHT BEFORE A RUN.
THE BASICS ---*
It’s Chelsea, once again back with another character because I have no chill at all. I will give a heads up, there are a few trigger warnings in this wonderful character bio. So when you get to the history, if you do not wish to read it, please skip the bullet points with the warning in front of it. So without further ado, onto this shitty introduction.
FULL NAME: Deacon Kendrick Locke DATE OF BIRTH: May 2, 1994 AGE: Twenty-Five SEXUALITY: Bisexual OCCUPATION: Detective at the Icarian Police Department PARENTS: Nyx and Kendrick Locke ABILITIES: Corporeal Shadow Manipulation - the ability to manipulate shadows and make them solid for periods of time. Depending on size and energy left in him, Deacon can make shadows that last for weeks at a time.
Shadow Teleportation - the ability to move within the shadows to places he’s seen before. He’s not as versed in this as he is in the shadow manipulating but can move small distances at a time.
THE HISTORY ---*
Trigger Warning: Child Abuse
Deacon Locke was born into a household where fear reigned supreme. His mother, Nyx, left him with his father and older sister, Lisa, thinking it would be the best place for him. Little did Nyx know, her affair with Kendrick Locke would be one of the more questionable choices the goddess of night would make. Kendrick, already father to a demigod daughter by the goddess of chaos and strife, had a bit of an anger issue. Instead of trying to get help for his issues, Kendrick spent most of his time at work and then drinking afterwards.
This was the life that Deacon had grown to expect as a young child. For the most part, Kendrick left the kids to their own devices and at nearly four years old, Deacon had learned to allow Lisa to take care of him or do mundane tasks on his own. It wasn’t until he was almost five when his father turned violent towards them. One Saturday night, after being at the bar all night, Kendrick had come home to Deacon’s excitement over a new toy he had created for himself out of the shadows, Kendrick seemed to snap. From that day on there was rarely a day that went by when Deacon didn’t feel his father’s fist hitting his skin.
For years, this is how it went. Kendrick would drink, come home and take it out on the children. After a while, Deacon came to expect the daily beatings and stopped running to hide from his father. It just made him angrier. Instead, Deacon closed himself off from everyone but his older sister and denied any allegations that the school system made towards his father’s abuse. To no avail of any social workers put on the case, they were never able to prove that the suspicions were true.
Until Deacon was eight years old that is. Another night, just like the first, Kendrick had finally snapped beyond repair. In a drunk haze, that he swore to the police he had no recollection of, Kendrick beat Deacon to an inch of his life. Neighbors had heard the screams and called the police and while Kendrick was being escorted to the station, Deacon was rushed to the emergency room to see if they could save his life.
End of Trigger Warning
After several months of rehabilitation, Deacon was placed with his first foster home away from his sister. He hated it, being far away from the only other person who understood what he had been through and still loved him for it. It caused him to close up even more, not trusting anyone and barely speaking unless asked a question. This continued for a few months before Deacon’s eighth birthday. That was when Nyx intervened and finally stole Deacon and Lisa away into the night. Lisa, she placed with a loving home nearby Deacon so they wouldn’t be separated anymore, and Deacon she placed with her most beloved followers -- the Bennett family.
It was there that Deacon truly learned what a real home was. Lilian Bennett was kind to him, always smothering him with love and affection he hadn’t had before. Anthony Bennett spent his time trying to get Deacon to warm up to him, as Deacon was spooked by any man bigger than him after all the years of trauma. They made sure he made it to his therapy appointments, had anything he could ever need and wanted him to know how special he truly was to them. His favorite new family member was his older brother, biological and adoptive, Weston. The man was a lot older than him but the wavelength they ended up on seemed to be irreplaceable. It didn’t matter to Deacon how much older Weston and his friends were, they always tried to include him in their lives. Having similar powers to Weston, his brother was the way that Deacon learned to control his ability to manipulate the shadows. While he’s never been as skilled with the shadow travel as his brother had, Deacon found himself excelling at creating shadows. He spent his time making himself shadow friends and eventually made it so they could be corporeal for days at a time.
Eventually, Deacon opened up to the Bennetts and by age eleven they fully adopted him into their family. Finally after all this time, he felt like he had parents that cared whether he lived or died and Deacon found himself forever grateful for his biological mother. His new family had a bit of secret that they tried to hide from him for as long as possible and Deacon never questioned it. The last thing the boy ever wanted was to be thrown to the side by the people he finally loved.
Although the damage done to him in the past forever changed his outlook on life, Deacon tried to open up to people more than before. Weston, although in his twenties, was still his favorite person to walk the earth but he found himself a friend in the form of Anya Venturi. The two grew close and Deacon opened up to her about everything that had happened in his life, a secret only trusted with his family. She had a past that was as messed up as his and they found solace in not being alone. As they grew older, Deacon fell in love with her and they soon got together. Happiness didn’t linger as Anya eventually broke up with him and took off for her own adventures, leaving him alone once more.
When he was a teenager, Anthony Bennett admitted to his younger son exactly what their family did. Instead of joining Weston in the field trying to stop those who were hurting others, Deacon took a different approach. Not having the stomach to kill someone in cold blood, Deacon joined the police academy wanting to help the victims of these crimes in a way that no one else in the mafia family had dared. He excelled as an officer and in a few short years he went through the ranks and became a detective. This pleased his adoptive family as it was someone who might have insider information that they couldn’t get anywhere else. His loyalty to his family was his first priority, loyalty to his birth mother coming second. Someone had to make sure Weston’s tracks were always covered.
Deep undercover in Chicago, Deacon was approached by his birth mother once more and pleaded with him to go help with the cases of missing demigods on the island of Icaria. Always loving to travel, Deacon packed his bags and made his way to the island paradise, joining the force. Since arriving in Icaria, he’s been known as the stoic police officer who seemed to have a no nonsense attitude. He liked having this demeanor as it kept people at a distance from him. His life heavily improved upon his arrival. Between the meeting of Luke Decker, his partner on the force, and being reunited with a couple of people from his past, despite the closed off nature, he is quite pleased with his life.
PERSONALITY TRAITS ---*
Deacon can be a bit of a firecracker. He tries to keep his cool when on the job but sometimes the anger comes out.
He does not drink due to his past with his father, who has not seen in years.
A bit aloof at times. He’s not very trusting until he gets to know someone.
Sarcasm comes honesty to him, it’s a really bad habit.
PLOTS? ---*
Friends
Old Friends - Someone he might have known at home? A friend from when he was still living with his father.
Best Friend - Someone who he trusts. His partner in not-crime (because he works for the police so he def does not break the law... right?)
Friends who Drifted Apart - We all have those friends that we grow apart from. That’s what this would be. They used to be close but aren’t anymore.
Family - Pretty self explanatory. Maybe a cousin? A sibling he never knew about. The possibilities are endless here.
Romances
Exes - This could be in any circumstance. Whether they grew apart, decided to just be friends, broke up from one of them cheating? Who knows, we can figure that out.
FWB - This is self-explanatory. Everyone needs a little stress relief/have some fun.
Future Whatever - Again, something we can plot on but I’m open to whatever.

We Got Married (but maybe I don’t wanna be)
Pairing: MoonSun
Summary: She did it for the publicity, it was a pretty well known show after all.
or
Yongsun, Byulyi, and Eric through WGM.
Chapter: 2/3 - Moon Byulyi
Links to alternate websites if you don’t like reading on tumblr: AO3 AFF
Yongsun was going to get married to a man, a stranger.
Byulyi had never felt that life was unfair more than she did at that moment.
Sure, it wasn't a real marriage. But it still hurt, the reminder that she would never be the one to stand on the other end of the aisle from the one she loved, her best friend, just for being who she was.
Byulyi felt like she was being torn apart internally, but she also couldn't deny that it was good publicity and decided that she would support Yongsun who had chosen to do it. So she put on the largest grin that she could muster and cheered on her unnie.
The initial few days after Yongsun officially accepted the offer were the hardest. Byulyi couldn't help feeling betrayed, even if she kept telling herself that it was all for business. So, Byulyi withdrew herself from her unnie, not wanting to accidentally hurt her in any way, attaching herself more to the two younger ones instead.
The ever observant maknaes noticed, of course, how dismissive Byulyi was towards their leader. They confronted her one day, after Yongsun had left on her own for a meeting with the managers. They noted her strange behaviour, wondered if their unnies had yet another fight.
Not for the first time, Byulyi considered revealing her (not so) little crush to the two girls. She trusted these girls with her life, had spent a good portion of it with them. In the end, she held back and told them a heavily downplayed version of her story, hiding her romantic feelings behind a veil of platonic friendship.
She hated herself for being such a coward, hated lying to two of her best friends. But, she wasn't even out to them yet, let alone willing to potentially ruin their whole group dynamic. Despite their continuous shows of support for the LGBT community, Byulyi told herself that it wasn't the right time.
The two girls listened and comforted her with sympathetic hugs. They reminded her of the upcoming comeback and encouraged her to make up with Yongsun soon.
She took their concerns and words of advice to heart and the following day, Byulyi greeted her unnie with a hug.
What she had not expected was for Yongsun to pull her in closer and whisper in her ear how much she'd missed her. Byulyi was left sputtering in response, face blazing as the leader giggled amusedly.
This weird behaviour continued on for the rest of the week. Yongsun would suddenly grab her hand or wrap her in a hug. Byulyi was sure that there was something wrong with Yongsun. She couldn't say that she hated it though.
---
Byulyi had to hide her disdain watching the fake couple when she appeared on the show several times to react. She watched as they did things that Yongsun had only done with her before, or things they hadn't, things they planned to do together... And when did they get so casual with hugging and holding hands?
Byulyi had to constantly remind herself that the relationship she was seeing on screen wasn't real. Still, her chest grew tight as she saw the couple get closer.
Byulyi did think that Yongsun looked uncomfortable with all the displays of affection. But then again, how would she know when she'd never seen Yongsun like anyone romantically before?
(Didn't know that she had seen it before, every time they looked into each other’s eyes)
Byulyi answered every question the panel had on Yongsun proudly, not able to hold herself back from showing off how well she knew her unnie. She wanted so much to proclaim how much better she would be with Yongsun instead of that Eric Nam, but knew it was a dumb idea. Instead, she sat there quietly, only laughing and commenting at the appropriate times.
No matter how much Byulyi didn't like it, she could still see that Eric was a good guy. He was treating Yongsun well and all Byulyi wanted to see was her Yongkong being happy, even if it meant supporting the Ddongie couple.
(Even the virtual couple's greeting sounded so much like theirs and Byulyi couldn't help feeling a little possessive)
(“Yongdong Yoondong” would never beat “Yongkong Byulkong” and no she was not jealous) So Byulyi held back on her disdain for the situation and put on a smile as she helped her leader get ready for her dates. She tried not to feel hurt when Yongsun sent her practice videos for her wedding, instead turning it into gratitude that she trusted Byulyi enough for advice. She lied about how cute she found the couple when it was really just Yongsun she focused on each episode. She tried her best to cherish the time they spent together preparing lunch boxes, even if they were for another man.
Through all this, Byulyi hid her resentful feelings, channeling them into song lyrics instead, writing about how worthless she felt.
---
Even when you’re here, it hurts I miss you but what can I do? I don’t want to make it obvious
Afraid you’ll find me pitiful, yeah
I’m so worthless, worthless, yeah
---
Whenever Eric was brought up yet again in press conferences or interviews, Byulyi worked hard to steel her jaw and keep her mouth shut as her leader laughed abashedly. Was their relationship really that interesting? Last time she checked, they were promoting for Mamamoo, not We Got Married.
Byulyi knew she was being petty and unreasonable but she couldn't help her exasperation.
These feelings turned out to be more serious than she had thought and she couldn't help the words that burst from her lips in yet another fight with her unnie.
The fight had started small, arguing over dumb things was a standard in their relationship. But all the pent up frustration and insecurities over Yongsun's relationship with Eric Nam that Byulyi had built up inside of her found it the perfect time to make themselves known. She lashed out at the leader, shouting things she didn't mean and accusing her of things she didn't believe.
And Yongsun shouted back, Byulyi knew she would. The leader would never let herself be accused with false allegations. Then Byulyi was suddenly out the door and finally freeing the tears that had built up behind her eyeballs, the guilt from fighting with her best friend eating at her from the inside. She wanted so badly to just go back in and apologise to the woman, accepting whatever scoldings might await her. But Byulyi was too worked up and heartbroken and maybe a little messed up because she actually didn't want to be on good terms with her unnie at the moment, didn't want to keep pretending that she was okay, and so she left it there and walked off.
An hour later, the door in front of her opened to reveal Wheein who looked questioningly at her as she quietly stepped into the house, eyes rimmed with red and a pack of beer in her hands.
Another hour later, empty beer cans were scattered across the floor among the two women sitting cross-legged.
“Wheein-ie...” Byulyi whined, dragging out her name.
“What do I do...? She definitely hates me now. You should've seen her face, she was so angry. But also hot. So hot . How can anyone look that hot when they're angry? Seriously... I slammed the door on that pretty face! Slammed! On her face! Now I'm angry at myself. Oh man, what if she doesn't want to talk to me anymore after this? Or worse, what if she doesn’t want to see me again? That would be hell...” Byulyi drunkenly rambled, leaning her forehead on Wheein's shoulder
“Wheein-ah, I can't live a life without Yongsun..!” Byulyi wailed in anguish, turning her head to cry into Wheein's neck.
Wheein sighed, bringing a hand up to sympathetically pat the older woman's head. “Get your shit together, Byulie-unnie. You know that she could never hate you, right?”
“You're right, she's too nice for that… And I still hurt that precious sunshine with my stupid words! Wheein, I'm such a terrible person!” Byulyi bawled.
Byulyi suddenly grabbed onto Wheein’s hand, flattening it against her chest. “Do you feel that? There’s nothing, is there? That’s because I’m heartless!”
She promptly let go of Wheein’s hand and burst into tears.
Wheein lifted an eyebrow at the silly display in front of her. After just a brief explanation of what happened, and then close to an hour of overdramatic blabbering about the same thing, her patience was starting to wear thin.
“I think you should just tell her.”
“Tell her what?”
“That you like her.”
Byulyi blanched. It was almost comical how wide her eyes grew and Wheein had to stifle a laugh.
“How- how did you know? Oh my god, Wheein-ah, are you psychic?”
“Um, unnie, it's pretty obvious.” Considering all the flirting, touching, and longing stares. “Hyejin and I have been suspecting it for a long time.”
“But I thought I was hiding it pretty well… I never even told you I was gay. Holy crap, do you think Yongsun can tell too then?” Byulyi started to hyperventilate. “She definitely, definitely hates me now.”
“Unnie, do you seriously think she would judge you for that? Anyway, Hyejin and I are pretty sure she's bisexual.”
“Do you mean that or are you just saying that because I happen to like her?”
“Unnie.”
“Alright, alright, sorry. But this is really bringing my hopes up and my heart is beating unhealthily fast right now.”
Byulyi knocked back a shot of soju and moved to refill her glass, only to realise that the soju bottle was suddenly in Wheein's hands. "You've drunk enough today. It's time to stop," Wheein said as she screwed the bottle cap back on and placed the bottle down an arm's length away. It was just out of reach of the inebriated woman who had too hazy a mind to think to just move to take it. Instead, Byulyi grumbled incoherently before draping herself across Wheein's lap, folding her arms and pouting. Wheein chuckled and gently pushed the woman off onto the floor, standing up and bringing the bottle with her to the kitchen. "No..! Wheein-ie don't leave me..." Byulyi whined. "You can survive the 10 seconds I'm away from you, and I'm like a metre away," Wheein called out, voice muffled by the concrete wall between them. A few seconds later, Wheein emerged carrying a glass of water in each hand. She placed one down in front of Byulyi who was still frowning at being abandoned.
“Come on, unnie. Drink some water.”
“No.”
Wheein sighed. “You'll feel better in the morning.”
“No.”
“Alright, well, I'm going to go sleep now. It's pretty late and we still have practice tomorrow.”
“Okay, and I'll sleep here, in the living room, away from you.”
Wheein had to hold back from slapping herself in disbelief. “Right. I'll wake you up in the morning.”
Before closing the door to her room, Wheein turned back and said, “By the way, I'm sure everything will be fine in the end, especially since it's you two. So don't worry too much about it, ‘kay?”
She gave a dimpled smile and shut the door.
Byulyi stuck her tongue out at the closed door and moved to the couch to finally sleep.
(She was tremendously grateful to Wheein the next morning)
---
It took less than a week of half-hearted perseverance before Byulyi relented, as she usually did whenever Yongsun was involved. She didn’t know how much she had missed the other woman’s embrace until she was finally in Yongsun’s arms again.
---
When Mamamoo was invited to guest star in an episode, Byulyi didn’t miss the worried glances cast at her by Wheein. She mustered a weak grin and a thumbs up that didn’t seem to convince anyone by the look on Wheein's face. But it was still a job, and it still had to be done to the best of their ability.
They got ahold of the Ddongie couple's schedule and planned their surprise visit behind their clueless leader's back. They thought of ways to get the couple closer and came up with games, already scheming their winning strategies. They loved to see their unnie put in uncomfortable situations.
She didn't expect how much harder it would be in real life. Watching them get along in person hit her hard in the chest
Byulyi volunteered to be the game referee, unsure if she would actually let herself beat the couple if she were a part of the games. Her mind went blank when she saw Eric place his lips on Yongsun's cheek. Reminding herself that there were cameras filming, she forced herself to smile and cheer for the couple.
She thought she could win an award for her acting.
It felt almost difficult to leave the place, knowing that she would be leaving Yongsun to sleep together with another man. Sure, there was cameras everywhere so there was almost no chance of anything happening and she had nothing to worry about. But Byulyi still felt uneasy, missed the nights she spent huddled under the covers beside the older woman. Their schedules had been packed and while they saw each other almost every day, there was less time for simply hanging out, just the two of them.
It must have hurt her more than she'd thought it did because she started tearing up soon after they returned to the RBW building. She didn't even realise it at first, not until cries of “Byulie unnie! Are you okay?” reached her ears and brought her back to reality. She noticed first the worried looks of the people around her, then the ever familiar feeling of tears trickling down her cheeks.
Their manager was at a loss on how to react and, after making sure she was not needed, left to give her some time alone with her teammates who were much better at calming her down.
Tears kept spilling uncontrollably from her eyes no matter how much she tried to hold them back which was frustrating her to no end and only served to produce more tears. Her teammates embraced her as she sat on the floor and wept and she clung onto them like they were her lifeline. They stayed in that position till her cries reduced to just the occasional sob.
Byulyi was embarrassed by her breakdown. She didn't like crying in front of others, felt that it made her seem weak, vulnerable. But she knew her members loved her and would never judge her for it. She had restrained herself from showing anyone how upset she was at the situation, tucking away her feelings because she knew they would just be a burden. It was kind of relieving to finally let it all out.
“Unnie, are you feeling better?”
“Yeah I- ” Byulyi paused to sniffle. “I think so.”
“I'm so sorry, I didn't think that you were that affected by them,” Hyejin said, arms going around Byulyi again in another hug.
“It's fine, I didn't think so either.”
“Still, I should have known…”
“You couldn't have known, it's not your fault. If anything, it's mine,” Byulyi let out a hollow laugh. “I thought that if I saw them together, saw how happy he made her... Then maybe I could get over my feelings.”
A wry smile briefly appeared on her face before she continued, “But it didn't work. And now I'm disappointed in myself for being so selfish that I couldn't just be happy for her.”
There was a moment of silence in the room before Hyejin raised an eyebrow. She lifted a hand to knock Byulyi on the head. “Unnie, that's gotta be the most stupid idea I have ever heard from you, and I've heard a lot!”
Byulyi frowned at her junior and rubbed the stinging spot on her head. “Hyejin, that's not helping,” she grumbled.
“She's right though, unnie. And it's just as dumb that you think that you're selfish for not wanting to see the person you like being romantic with someone else,” Wheein chipped in.
Byulyi blinked at her two friends before finally sighing.
“Alright, alright,” Byulyi raised both her arms in surrender. “I got it. I don't need you two to gang up on me.”
The two childhood friends glanced at each other with serious expressions before swiftly high fiving.
Byulyi lifted the corner of her mouth in a half smile, hands lowering as the overwhelming feeling of gratefulness hit her.
“Thank you for this.”
“You know we'll always be here for you, unnie.”
There was a moment of tenderness as the girls shared another hug and soft smiles were exchanged…
“But I'm kinda hurt that you told Wheein but not me, though.”
The three girls burst into laughter.
---
The manager gave them the rest of the day off, told them that they did a good job with filming earlier. It was days like these that Byulyi felt truly appreciative of all the supportive people in her life.
After a restless night, Byulyi gave up on sleeping and went to practice early. Dancing had always been a way for her to clear her head and she let herself be immersed in the flow of movements, her body moving to the rhythm of the music.
The sound of the door opening was drowned out by the music but the reflection of a familiar face in the peripheral of Byulyi’s vision caught her eye and she halted in her movements. Byulyi hadn’t really been prepared to face her leader so soon and thought that Yongsun would even be late that day considering how filming had gone on overnight. Mentally bracing herself for the imminent conversation, she moved to turn off the music.
“Byul-ah, what are you doing here so early?”
Byulyi’s heart rate sped up and she wasn’t sure she could blame it entirely on her dance routine.
“I could ask you the same, Yongsun-unnie,” Byulyi said, reflexively averting her eyes as she deftly avoided the question. She wasn’t really in the mood to talk to the woman who she had been trying to forget when she came in earlier, but said woman obviously had other plans. Byulyi focused her eyes on the wall beside her instead, unable to meet the other woman’s eyes, and so missed the flash of annoyance on Yongsun’s face.
“Filming just ended so I came here early. Now it's your turn to answer the question.”
Byulyi didn’t really want to but could hear the tone of irritation in Yongsun’s voice and reconsidered.
“... I couldn't sleep,” she yielded after a moment.
“Byulie, look at me. What's wrong?”
Byulyi felt a pang in her heart at the gentle tone and finally looked up into her leader’s eyes. It turned out to be a mistake as her guilt just worsened upon seeing those concern-filled eyes directed right at her. Those eyes had always been a weakness of hers. Byulyi could feel herself about to burst and let out a deep breath, resigning to her fate as she forced the words out of her mouth.
“I was jealous,” she blurted out. “Of Eric.”
“I just- I'm the one who's always been with you, but now he's the one who's exploring new places with you and doing new things with you when- when-” Byulyi scrambled for the next words to say.
Her heart pumped fast and hard in her chest as she held the words she knew she wanted to say at the tip of her tongue. Her brain told her that those words could ruin their friendship forever. However, the previous night's talk came to the forefront of her mind and lingered.
Byulyi finally decided to just go for it and said, “When it should be me.”
Her shoulders drooped. She couldn’t bear to look at the leader’s face, afraid of what she would find.
There was a long period of silence in the room and Byulyi wanted to run away. But then Yongsun was suddenly embracing her and Byulyi clutched at the arms around her, afraid that the other woman would suddenly decide to leave. If Yongsun would accept her then...
“Byul-ah, you don't have to worry about losing me, okay? We'll always be the best of friends.”
Byulyi felt a stab in her chest.
“Right, just friends…” she whispered bitterly. Her leader was denser than she thought. Byulyi wanted to laugh at Yongsun, but decided to drop the subject and just enjoy the hug.
---
On the Ddongie couple’s last day of filming for that damned show, Byulyi couldn’t help rejoicing. She didn't feel as good about it when she saw how sad Yongsun actually was about the whole thing ending, but she still felt a little lighter. No matter how she felt about the situation, Byulyi was still grateful to Eric for providing her unnie a pleasant experience on the show.
It wasn't all over yet though, as there was one last event to be attended: the MBC Entertainment Awards Ceremony. Byulyi held it in the back of her mind as they were doing final preparations for their own event.
During a lull in activity, as they took advantage of the chance to rest their legs before having to be on their feet for a few hours, Byulyi glanced at the woman beside her in her pink-tinted dress. Said woman was typing rapidly on her phone, replying to one message or another on her SNS, not noticing or simply just used to the attention on her. She was so beautiful even with her mouth agape as she completely focused on her screen.
Byulyi took out her own phone and held it up, letting the strong urge to document the stunning woman beside her overtake her. She could never resist such urges anyway and the leader was used to it by now, usually complying with Byulyi's every need to photograph her. This time was no different.
“Unnie, look here.”
Yongsun glanced up from her phone, only to look into the screen of another. She naturally went into a pose for the camera, locking her phone screen with one hand while the other moved to lightly hold her chin, along with a gentle smile to complete the look.
Byulyi snapped several pictures, experimenting for the best angle. When she was finally satisfied, she brought her phone back to eye level, showing it first to her unnie who gave her nod of approval before returning to texting. Byulyi stared a little longer at the picture displayed on screen. Their outfits matched especially well, along with the colours and... they looked kind of like they were getting married… which reminded her of what was happening later on that night.
Perhaps out of spite (towards the man who had really done nothing wrong and towards the society that forbid two women from being together), Byulyi found herself posting the photo on their fancafe, with only the word "BEST” added on to it along with a quick caption of ‘Welcome to Byulddonie world’’ (because Yongsun was indeed her world). It didn't matter if she added the word “friend” to it, society deemed it impossible for two women to be anything more anyway, and if that's how it was then she would take advantage of the fact to be as obvious as she could.
It wasn't long before they were called out from their rest for some finishing touches before their performance. Soon, they were stepping off the stage decked out in all black. Their manager immediately pulled their leader to the side, ushering her urgently towards the exit.
Byulyi sighed as she was reminded of the other award ceremony that had already started. She had erased the upcoming event from her mind to focus on her performance. She hated that the events had such clashing schedules that Yongsun had to rush off so hastily. Almost missing the leader's absence, she hurried to catch up with the departing group, pleased that she managed to send off her unnie as she usually did.
Standing at the entrance waving her leader off, Byulyi even kept turning around as she went back in to continue waving goodbye, not disappointed by the silly faces she got from her yeba in return. She went back up to join the rest of the members in the waiting room, chatting with them for a bit before turning on the TV in the room and switching to the MBC channel.
They were all eager to watch their beloved leader appear on the screen and cheered noisily when she actually won Best Couple Award with her fake ex-husband. They all howled with laughter (as their leader had predicted correctly) when they saw her fumbling with her words on stage, a rare sight.
After a while more, they finally wrapped up and headed home. Byulyi ultimately found herself unlocking the door to her unnie's house, washing up and grabbing some clothes she knew she had left behind last time. Stretching herself out on the familiar couch, she scrolled through her phone for a bit before eventually succumbing to the exhaustion that always came after events.
---
Byulyi jolted awake upon hearing the soft beeping at the front door. The resounding click that followed signalled the arrival of her housemate.
Muted footsteps shuffled across the floor.
Yongsun-unnie must be home, Byulyi thought drowsily. Not wanting to leave the comfort of the couch, she didn't bother getting up to check.
The footsteps halted, and the house was quiet again. The silence was lulling Byulyi back to sleep. She was just about to doze off when she heard her name.
“Byul-ah… You don't even know how much I love you.” followed by a soft chuckle.
The confession was soft and Byulyi might have missed it if the room wasn’t so quiet. But it was, and she heard it clear as day.
Her mind, still half asleep, took a moment to process what she heard.
Yongsun-unnie? How much she loves me? What does she- Yongsun-unnie loves me?
Byulyi opened her eyes and looked around the dark room blearily. The space in front of her was empty. Where did she-
The sound of the shower turning on interrupted her thoughts, coincidentally answering her question.
Letting her eyelids fall back shut, Byulyi buried herself into the back of the couch. She groaned. What did Yongsun even mean by that? Was it a friend thing? But it definitely didn't seem like a friend thing. Or was Byulyi simply just overthinking things?
She was so tired. It was so difficult to think. She decided that she'll worry about it in the morning (it's a problem for future Byulyi now) and promptly fell back asleep.

William Bonin (1947-1996) PART TWO
Tumblr media
On June 2, the same day as the police surveillance of William Bonin began, he, along with James Munro, met 18-year-old Steven Jay Wells at a bus stop on El Segundo Boulevard. Bonin and Munro managed to lure Wells into the van. When he learned that Wells was bisexual, Bonin persuaded the boy to go to his apartment with him on the promising of $200 if he agreed to be tied up before sex. At the apartment, Wells was bound, raped, beaten about the face and torso by both Bonin and Munro, then was told he would be murdered before he was strangled to death with his own T-shirt. Bonin put Wells’ body in a cardboard box which he and Munro carried to his van before driving to Vernon Butts’ apartment. On arrival, Bonin invited Butts to view Wells’ body, saying: “We got it in the van; it’s a good one. Come on out and see it.” Munro later said that as he was viewing the body, Butts replied, “Oh, you got another one!” Bonin then asked Butts for advice on disposing of the corpse. At Bonin’s trial, Munro recalled that Butts said: “’Try a gas station like’ or ‘where’ – I don’t know which – ‘we dumped the last one.’” Munro also later said that Butts had dissuaded Bonin from dumping the boy’s body in nearby canyons because it was late. Wells’ body ended up being discarded behind a disused Huntington Beach gas station, where it was found 5 hours later.
After 9 days of surveillance, on June 11, police saw Bonin drive in a seemingly random way through Hollywood, unsuccessfully trying to entice 5 separate young boys into his van, before he succeeded in luring a youth into his vehicle. The police followed Bonin until he parked his van in an empty parking lot near the Hollywood Freeway and discreetly approached the vehicle. When they heard muffled screams and banging sounds coming from inside the van, the plainclothes officers forced their way in. They discovered Bonin in the act of raping and strangling 17-year-old Orange County runaway Harold Tate, who was handcuffed and bound. Initially charged with the rape of a minor and held on suspicion of Charles Miranda’s murder, Bonin was detained on a $250,000 bond. The following day, Munro stole Bonin’s car and fled to Michigan. Inside Bonin’s van, investigators found lots of evidence pointing to his guilt including various restraining devices, lengths of nylon cord, an variety of knives, a tire iron, pliers and coat hangers. Both the inside and outside sections of Bonin’s home were massively bloodstained and the inner handles from the passenger-side and rear doors of the vehicle were removed in an obvious attempt to prevent a victim from escaping. In the glove box, investigators found a scrapbook of newspaper clipping about the murders.
Despite initially stating his innocence in any of the Freeway Killer murders, Bonin confessed to homicide sergeant John St. John after reading a letter from Sean King’s mother, begging him to reveal the location of her son’s body. Over the course of a few nights, Bonin confessed to abducting, raping and killing 21 boys and young men. He didn’t express remorse for his actions, but did show extreme embarrassment over having been caught. His main accomplice, he stated, had been Vernon Butts, with Miley and Munro being active in other murders.  Bonin later told one reporter who asked him what he would do if he was still at large: “I’d still be killing, I couldn’t stop killing. It got easier with each one we did.” Police also suspect Bonin to be responsible for approximately 15 other murders. Bonin was physically linked to many murders by blood and semen stains, along with numerous distinctive green triskelion-shaped carpet fibers found on 7 of the victims’ bodies which were forensically matched to the carpet in the back of Bonin’s van. On 3 victims’ bodies, investigators found hair samples that were an exact match to Bonin. Medical evidence revealed that 6 of the murders that Bonin had been charged with were committed by a unique windlass strangulation method, which was referred to by the prosecutor at Bonin’s trial as “a signature, a trademark.”
Bonin was formally arraigned for the murder of Markus Grabs on July 25 and by July 29 he had been charged with an additional 15 murders that he had confessed to and for which the prosecution believed they had enough evidence to get a conviction. In addition to the 16 murder indictments, Bonin was also charged with 11 counts of robbery, 1 count of sodomy and 1 count of mayhem. He was held without bond and on August 8 the charges were formally submitted against him. 3 days later, Bonin was appointed an attorney named Earl Hanson to act as his legal representation. Hanson remained Bonin’s attorney until October 1981 when Bonin requested he be replaced by William Charvet and Tracy Stewart. Because of Bonin’s confession, police obtained a warrant to search Vernon Butts’ apartment on the same date as Bonin’s first arraignment. This search uncovered evidence linking Butts to several murders that Bonin had already implicated him in and Butts was brought before a Municipal Court on July 29, charged with being an accomplice on 6 murders between August 1979 and April 1980. He was also charged with 3 counts of robbery. In a press statement the LA County Sheriff’s Department said: “Bonin and Butts are believed to be responsible for the kidnapping, torture and murder of at least 21 young males between May 1979 and June 1980”, before adding that 5 further murder charges would likely be filed against both men in Orange County.
Despite stating his innocence, Butts confessed to having been with Bonin on each of the murders in each of the charges listed against him, and to have actively participated in the sexual abuse of several victims. He also said that he only had a small role in the torture of the victims, but did confess to actively participating in the torture of one victim. Butts claimed he typically drove randomly and aimlessly as Bonin was abusing and torturing his victims in the back of the van, then stopped the van in order to help Bonin restrain the victims as Bonin escalated the torture. When asked why some victims had suffered more torture than others, Butts said that in many cases, Bonin would escalate the level of beatings if the youth resisted Bonin’s sexual advances. Butts was brought before Orange County Municipal Court Judge Richard Orozco on November 14, 1980. He was formally charged with participating in 3 other murders committed in the same county. His trial was scheduled for July 27, 1981. On July 31, James Munro was arrested in his home city of Port Huron, Michigan. He was extradited to California and charged with the murder of Steven Wells. Munro pleaded innocent to all charges on August 14. A week later, Gregory Miley, 19 years old by this time, was arrested in Texas and subsequently charged by California authorities with the murders of Charles Miranda and James Macabe. Miley was arrested after he confession to these February 3 murders in a recorded phone conversation with a friend. He initially pleaded innocent to 2 charges of first-degree murder on December 18, but pleaded formally guilty to both charges at 2 separate pretrial hearings in May 1981.
At a preliminary hearing in LA County before LA Superior Court Judge Julius Leetham on January 2, 1981, Bonin pleaded his innocence to 14 first-degree murder charges and numerous counts of sodomy, robbery and mayhem. In 11 of these indictments, a felony-murder-robbery special circumstance was also alleged. He was told to return to court 5 days later for pretrial motions and the formal setting of a trial date, which was eventually set for October 19. On the same day, Vernon Butts was arraigned on 5 counts of murder, in addition to 3 counts of robbery. The date of Butts’ formal plea was set for January 7. 4 days after his hearing, Vernon Butts committed suicide by hanging himself in his cell. A coroner’s investigation revealed that Butts had unsuccessfully tried to kill himself at least 4 times before his arrest. His attorney, Joe Ingber, believed that Butts’ depression had been exacerbated by the upcoming release of transcripts of his client’s testimony at the preliminary hearing, where he had graphically described the torture of the victims prior to their murder. Prior to Bonin’s upcoming trials, both Miley and Munro agreed to testify against him at both trials in exchange for being spared the death penalty. Deputy District Attorney Stirling Norris also agreed to seek the dismissal of additional charges of sodomy and robbery against Munro if he honoured his agreement to testify against Bonin. In Miley’s case, Norris agreed to accept 2 separate guilty pleas to first-degree murder in exchange for 2 consecutive sentences of life imprisonment, with a possibility of parole after 25 years, if Miley agreed to testify against Bonin at both upcoming trials. Prior to his suicide, Vernon Butts never agreed to testify against Bonin or to accept any kind of plea bargain.
Bonin’s trial in Los Angeles County for the murder of 12 victims whose bodies had been found in this area began on October 19, 1981. He was tried before LA Superior Court Judge William Keene. Jury selection began on this date, which postponed the beginning of the trial until 16 jurors that both counsels were satisfied with had been selected. Bonin’s trial began on November 5, 1981. Deputy District Attorney Stirling Norris, acting as prosecutor, sought the death penalty for each murder count that Bonin was being tried for, stating in his opening speech: “We will prove he is the Freeway Killer, as he has bragged to a number of witnesses. We will show you that he enjoyed the killings. Not only did he enjoy it, and play to enjoy it, he had an insatiable demand, an insatiable appetite – not only for sodomy, but for killing.” Norris went on to say that Bonin had followed a familiar pattern in his murders of luring or forcing his victim into a van before overpowering and binding them. He would then repeatedly rape and torture his captive before finally reaching the “climax” by killing his victim. Norris also asserted that Bonin considered murder a group sport, and would often groom people of a low mentality to assist in his murders. Both Miley and Munro testified against Bonin at his LA County trial, describing in graphic detail the murders that they had accompanied Bonin to and participated in. On November 17, Munro stated during his testimony that shortly after the murder of Steven Wells’, he and Bonin drove to a McDonald’s restaurant and bought hamburgers using $10 taken from Wells’ wallet. As they were eating them at Bonin’s apartment, Bonin laughed and said: “Thanks, Steve, wherever you are” before Munro also joined in the laughter. Miley testified to his involvement in the murders of Miranda and Macabe. He described in graphic detail how both boys were beaten and tortured with various objects before their murders, and how he had heard a “bunch of bones cracking” as Bonin pressed a tire iron down against Charles Miranda’s neck. Miley continued his testimony by saying: “The kid vomited. I jumped down on him the same way, killing the guy.” Some members of the audience rushed out of the courtroom as Bonin’s accomplices testified, later telling reporters gathered outside the courtroom that they found the details of the murders too difficult to hear.
The strategy of William Charvet and Tracy Stewart, Bonin’s defence attorneys, was to discredit several prosecution witnesses, and to suggest that there were mitigating circumstances, the roots of which lay in the physical, sexual and emotional abuse Bonin endured throughout childhood and adolescence. To support this argument Bonin’s defence attorneys called an expert on the developmental effects of violence and abuse on children, Dr. David Foster, to testify as to his conclusions based on his psychological examinations of Bonin. Dr. Foster stated that Bonin had, as a result of being abandoned multiple times, not received the nurture, protection and behavioural feedback that a child would need for proper psychological development. Dr. Foster also believed that Bonin could not understand the difference between violence and love. The prosecution called forensic psychiatrist and expert in impulse disorders and sexual sadism, Dr. Park Dietz, who testified that the pattern of Bonin’s behaviour was inconsistent with an inability to control his impulses. Dr. Dietz also said that Bonin’s actions reflected planning as opposed to impulsiveness. In his summary, Dr. Dietz concluded that Bonin was a sexual sadist, and although he did agree that he suffered from an antisocial personality disorder, neither of these conditions impaired his ability to control his actions.
Against overruled objections from Bonin’s defence, David Lopez, a Fresno reporter, waived his previously-sought immunity under California’s shield law and agreed to testify on behalf of the prosecution as to the details of 7 interviews Bonin had given him between December 1980 and April 1981. Lopez testified on December 14-15 and stated that Bonin first told him he would refuse to talk with any other reporter if Lopez agreed not to broadcast the exact details of the interview. Lopez agreed and Bonin confessed to him on January 9 that he was indeed the Freeway Killer, and had killed 21 victims. The victims’ ages, Bonin had told Lopez, were between 12-19, with James Macabe, the youngest, being the easiest to kill. Lopez said that Bonin had confided that also he resented the prospect of being executed, he opted to kill repeatedly because he enjoyed the “sound of kids dying”. Lopez also testified Bonin had told him he had killed 1 victim by repeatedly punching him in the throat, and that his motive for revealing the location of Sean King’s body to police was the knowledge that they would buy hamburgers as they searched for the remains. Upon cross-examination, Bonin’s defence attorney ensured Lopez admitted that his testimony was based on what he had recalled from the interviews as opposed to handwritten notes, although he strongly denied he had received any kind of fee to testify.
On December 16, 1981, both sides delivered their closing arguments before the jury – this took 6 days. In his closing argument for the prosecution, Stirling Norris described William Bonin as an insatiable, callous person who acted with malice aforethought and got extreme pleasure from the suffering he inflicted on others. After outlining the torture Bonin performed on his victims, Norris concluded his closing arguments by urging the jury to “give him what he has earned”. The defence’s closing argument, given by William Charvet, began on December 21. Charvet did not specifically ask the jury to find Bonin not guilty, he did request that they return “the reasonable verdict you can bring”; which indicated a likelihood of not guilty verdicts on at least some of the counts Bonin was charged with. Charvet then tried to discredit some of the given testimony, especially that of Miley and Munro, whom he made sure to emphasise had turned State’s evidence. Because of this, Charvet alleged, they had tailored their testimony to the wants of the police. Charvet concluded that this testimony was therefore unworthy of belief. Charvet also repeatedly reminded the jury that he had pointed out many inconsistencies in the testimony of Munro about the murder of Steven Wells in the various statements he had given, and also compelled him to admit that he had lied on numerous occasions. Charvet went on to remind the jury of the extensive physical and sexual abuse Bonin had endured as a child, and the diagnosis of doctors at the Atascadero State Hospital had reached between 1969 and 1971. Stating that the prosecution’s case was “full of holes”, Charvet went on to allege that the prosecution had resorted to what was little more than “revulsion tactics” in the hopes that Bonin would be convicted upon that basis. Following closing arguments, Judge Keene ordered the trial recessed until December 28, when he delivered final instructions to the jury who began their deliberations.
Bonin’s first trial lasted until January 6, 1982, when the jury convicted Bonin of 10 of the murders for which he was tried. He was found not guilty of the murders of Thomas Lundgren and Sean King, of committing sodomy on Markus Grabs, of committing mayhem upon Lundgren and of robbing another victim. As the verdicts were being read out, many friends and relatives of Bonin’s victims wept. The next day, both the prosecution and defence made alternate pleas for the sentence that the jury should decide: Stirling Norris asked for the death penalty and William Charvet requested life imprisonment. On January 20, the jury found that the special circumstances required under California law (multiple murders and robbery) had been met in the 10 murder cases for which Bonin had been found guilty, so they unanimously recommended the death penalty. Bonin was cleared of the charges of sodomy and the murder of Sean King because he had led police to the body of the victim in December 1980 under the agreement that this couldn’t be used against him in court, so the prosecutors had talked about King’s disappearance at trial, but not the discovery of his body. He was cleared on the charges of murder and mayhem against Lundgren because he had denied committing this particular murder to David Lopez in the interviews he had given him.  In response to the jury recommendations, Superior Court Judge William Keene ordered the court to reconvene on February 24 so that William Charvet could argue for a modification of the sentence recommended by the jury. Despite Charvet’s pleas, Judge William Keene formally sentence William Bonin to death for the 10 murders of which he had been convicted on March 12. Describing the crimes as “a gross, revolting affront to human dignity”, Judge Keene further ordered that if Bonin’s death sentence were ever to be commuted to life imprisonment, the sentences should run consecutively. Bonin was then remanded to the warden of San Quentin State Prison to await execution in the gas chamber. Bonin remained unemotional upon hearing his sentence, having already told his attorney he expected to receive the death penalty.
On March 21, 1982 Bonin’s Orange County trial began. He was charged with the robbery and murder of 4 victims between November 1979-May 1980. He was tried before Superior Court Judge Kenneth Lae. Prior to this trial, Bonin was removed from death row and held in solitary confinement, where he remained until the trial was over. Whilst there, defence attorney William Charvet attempted to get a change of venue under the premise of the extensive pretrial publicity surrounding the case minimising the changes of an untainted jury, but this motion was refused by Judge Kenneth Lae, who ruled that there had only been minimal publicity in Orange County. Jury selection began on March 21 and saw a total of 204 prospective jurors subjected to the selection process before 16 jurors were chosen in June that satisfied both parties. Following this, Bonin’s attorney again tried to get the trial moved outside of Orange County but the motion was denied by Judge Lae for a 2nd time. The trial was set to begin on June 14.
The prosecutor, Bryan Brown, contended that all 4 victims killed in this jurisdiction were abducted while hitchhiking before being ordered to strip. They were then bound around the wrists and ankles, endured rape, torture, beatings and finally ligature strangulation. In 1 case, the ligature left an impression ½ an inch deep on the victim’s neck. Brown also compared these murders to 2 that Bonin had already been convicted in LA County for: Charles Miranda and Steven Wells. Emphasis was placed on the fiber matches to the back of Bonin’s van, linking 2 Orange County murders and 3 LA County killings. Brown stated that the Orange County victims must have been killed by the same person who had killed Miranda and Wells, and that the 2 accomplices to these murders, Miley and Munro, would testify as to Bonin’s guilt. To further support this, the prosecution presented forensic experts to testify that the fibers found on the bodies of all 6 victims in question were a precise match to the carpeting in Bonin’s vehicle. The interior of the van had been stained massively with human blood. Brown stated to the jury: “One can truly say from the evidence found within the van it is a virtual death wagon.” William Charvet denied these allegations, contending that any similarity in MO did not mean automatic proof of Bonin’s guilt, and the evidence the prosecution had presented did not prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt that Bonin had murdered any of the 4 Orange County victims or the 2 LA County victims. Charvet also attacked the credibility of James Munro and stated that Bonin was simply a scapegoat for 4 unsolved murders. The 2nd trial lasted 6 weeks, and Bonin’s attorneys called 2 witnesses in his defence, one of whom was James Munro, who said that Bonin had communicated with him before testifying at this 2nd trial, requesting he lied when he delivered his testimony. After less than 3 hours of deliberation, the jury announced on August 2, 1983 that they had found Bonin guilty on all 4 counts of murder, in addition to 3 counts of robbery. After 3 days deliberation on the penalty to impose on Bonin, the jury recommended he be sentenced to death on each count. Superior Court Judge Kenneth Lae postponed formal sentencing until August 26, where he imposed 4 death sentences on Bonin, later describing him as sadistic and guilty of “monstrous criminal conduct.”
Bonin remained incarcerated on death row for 14 years at San Quentin State Prison, awaiting execution in California’s gas chamber. Whilst on death row, Bonin began painting and writing, and received some small awards for his artwork, short stories and poems. He also began writing to numerous people, including the mothers of some of his victims (he never expressed any regret or remorse to them). On one occasion, Bonin told Sean King’s mother that her son was his favourite victim as “he was such a screamer.” Bonin also told his defence attorneys (as well as several people he was corresponding with) that Vernon Butts was the actual brains behind the murders, and he had simply been an accomplice – claims that were refused to Stirling Norris, who said shortly before Bonin’s execution: “He was the leader, and he chose weak people he could use.” In 1992, the state of California replaced the gas chamber with lethal injection following the execution of Robert Alton Harris (the first inmate California had executed since 1967). Harris had shown symptoms of pain and discomfort for up to 4 minutes throughout his 15-minute execution in the gas chamber. As a result, the state of California had opted to use lethal injection as a less “cruel and unusual” method of execution.
Bonin filed many appeals against his convictions and his sentences, claiming jury prejudice, jury inflammation due to victim impact statements, and inadequate defence. Bonin hired new lawyers for his appeals, who initially stated that William Charvet, Bonin’s previous defence attorney, failed to place sufficient emphasis on Bonin’s bipolar disorder and the sexual abuse he had suffered as a child. These lawyers said that had Charvet placed the proper emphasis on these issues, Bonin would have been “humanised” in the eyes of his juries. Each appeal proved unsuccessful, with the US Supreme Court refusing to overturn the death penalty convictions for the murders. They did, however, criticise Judge William Keene for failing to heed a warning given by the prosecution prior to the trial that James Munro had discussed the possibility of agreeing to be represented by William Charvet, prior to his testimony at trial. In spite of this, in 1989, the Supreme Court ruled that Charvet had effectively cross-examined Munro and that Judge Keene’s actions, though inexplicable, had not harmed Bonin’s legal defence. Bonin also contended that his defence should have been allowed to stipulate the testimony of the parents of his victims being allowed to identify photographs of their sons in both life and death, but this finding was also deemed not to have affected the overall verdict. One last submission to the United States Court of Appeals was submitted on Bonin’s behalf in October 1994, with Bonin stating issues such as his being denied the effective assistance of counsel at both trials, that he had been denied due process at the LA trial due to the judge refusing to suppress Munro’s and Miley’s testimonies, and that the judge at his Orange County trial had denied the motion for a change of venue on the basis that pretrial publicity had minimised any chances of finding an unbiased jury in the county. This final appeal was rejected on June 28, 1995, with the appellate judges finding no evidence of legal misconduct, and no evidence that the 13 jurors who served on Bonin’s Orange County trial who had admitted to minimal, limited pretrial exposure to the case, had been incapable of judging with impartiality. As such, the appellate judges declared that they were satisfied with Bonin’s convictions. On 20th February 1996, the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals rejected a clemency plea submitted by Bonin’s attorneys on the grounds of inadequate legal representation at both trials. 1 hour before his scheduled execution, the U.S. Supreme Court refused to hear Bonin’s final plea to overturn his death sentence. The panel were in almost unanimous agreement that Bonin’s attorneys had not failed to give their client adequate legal representation by not discovering their submitted claims to have discovered evidence attesting to Bonin’s innocence earlier. The appellate judges also ruled that Bonin’s attorneys should not have waited until the last minute to submit their arguments to overturn or postpone the impending execution. These judges also rejected Bonin’s final claim that he had the right to choose between the gas chamber or lethal injection as his method of execution.
Bonin was executed by lethal injection inside the gas chamber of San Quentin State Prison on February 23, 1996. He was the 1st person to die using this method in the history of California. His execution occurred 14 years after his 1st death sentence was imposed. In a final interview with a local radio station less than 24 hours before his death, Bonin claimed he had “made peace” with the fact that he was about to die, and added that his only regret was that he hadn’t pursued his teenage love of bowling long enough to become a professional. When asked if he wanted to say anything to the families of his victims, Bonin replied: “They feel my death will bring closure, but that’s not the case. They’re going to find out.” At 6pm on the day of his execution, Bonin was moved from his cell to a death watch cell, where he ate a last meal of 2 large pizzas, 3 pints of ice cream and 3 6-packs of Coke. His last hours were spent in the company of 5 people he had chosen for the occasion, including his attorney, a chaplain, and a prospective biographer. Each later sad that Bonin was resigned to the inevitable and his attorney added that he hadn’t detected any remorse. At 11:45pm Bonin was taken from the holding cell into the execution chamber. In his final statement Bonin against expressed no remorse for the murders he had committed as the Freeway Killer, leaving a note that said: “I feel the death penalty is not an answer to the problems at hand. I feel it sends the wrong message to the people of this country. Young people act as they see other people acting instead of as people tell them to act. I would advise that when a person has a thought of doing anything serious against the law, that before they did, they should go to a quiet place and think about it seriously.” William Bonin was pronounced dead at 12:13am. He was 49. None of his family members were there to witness the execution but the event was witnessed by several relatives of his victim, many of whom wept and held each other as his death was officially confirmed. According to several witnesses, Bonin’s execution was without complications, and he was heavily sedated throughout the latter stages of the procedure. On this subject, then-Governor Pete Wilson, who had rejected a submitted clemency plea from Bonin’s attorneys 3 days prior to the execution, referred to William Bonin as the “poster boy for capital punishment” before adding that California’s method of execution meant that Bonin’s death was much more pleasant than that of his victims.

Here’s A List of Hoax ‘Hate Crimes’ in The Trump EraFebruary 19th, 2019  Actor Jussie Smollett, who is accused of staging a hate crime. Liberal actor Jussie Smollett is accused of staging a racist and anti-gay attack on himself, which Smollett blamed on supporters of President Donald Trump. Smollett’s alleged fake “hate crime” appears to be the latest instance of liberals manufacturing hate crimes for attention in the Trump era. The Daily Caller News Foundation compiled below some of the most outrageous fake hate crimes since Trump was elected, in rough chronological order: 1. Anti-Muslim Hate Crime in Michigan Turns Out to Be A Hoax (Nov. 2016) A Muslim woman at the University of Michigan received national attention from national outlets like The Washington Post in November 2016 after she claimed a drunk 20-something man threatened to light her on fire if she didn’t remove her hijab. The university condemned the “hateful attack,” which turned out to be a hoax. 2. Bisexual Student Fakes Trump-Inspired Hate Crime (Nov. 2016)Taylor Volk, an openly bisexual senior at North Park University claimed to be the target of hateful notes and emails following Trump’s election in November 2016. Volk told NBC News that “I just want them to stop.” But the “them” referenced by Volk turned out to be herself, as the whole thing was fabricated. 3. Gas Station Racism Goes Viral — Then Police Debunk It (Nov. 2016) Philadelphia woman Ashley Boyer claimed in November 2016 that she was harassed at a gas station by white, Trump-supporting males, one of whom pulled a weapon on her. Boyer claimed that the men “proceeded to talk about the election and how they’re glad they won’t have to deal with n—–s much longer.” Boyer deleted her post after it went viral and claimed the men had been caught and were facing criminal charges. Local police debunked her account. 4. White Men Rob Muslim Woman of Her Hijab and Wallet — Except It Never Happened (Nov. 2016) An 18-year-old Muslim woman in Louisiana claimed in November 2016 that two white men, one of whom was wearing a Trump hat, attacked and robbed her, taking her wallet and hijab while yelling racial slurs. She later admitted to the Lafayette Police Department that she made the whole thing up. 5. Church Organist Vandalizes Own Church (Nov. 2016) A church organist was arrested in May 2017 after he was found responsible for spray-painting a swastika, an anti-gay slur and the words “Heil Trump” on his own church in November 2016. When the story first broke, media outlets tied the hoax to Trump’s election. “The offensive graffiti at St. David’s is among numerous incidents that have occurred in the wake of Trump’s Election Day win,” The Washington Post reported at the time. 6. “Drunk White Men” Attack Muslim Woman in Story That Also Never Happened (Dec. 2016) Another 18-year-old Muslim woman, this time in New York, was the subject of breathless headlines in December 2016 after she claimed to have been attacked by a group of Donald Trump supporters on a New York subway while onlookers did nothing. The woman, Yasmin Seweid, would go on to confess that she made the whole thing up. 7. White Guy Sets His Own Car on Fire, Paints Racial Slur on His Own Garage (Dec. 2016)Denton, Texas, resident David Williams set his own car on fire and painted “n***** lovers” on his home’s garage, in an apparent attempt to stage a hate crime. Local police investigated the arson as a hate crime. Williams and his wife, Jenny, collected more than $5,000 from Good Samaritans via a GoFundMe page before the hoax was exposed. 8. Prankster Tricks Liberal Journalist into Spreading Anti-Trump Hoax (Dec. 2016) As tales of Trump-inspired “hate crimes” were spread far and wide by liberal journalists after Trump’s election, one online prankster decided to test just easy it was to fool journalists. The prankster sent Mic.com writer Sarah Harvard a fictitious story in which a Native American claimed to have been harassed by an alleged Trump supporter who thought she was Mexican. Despite no evidence backing up the claim, Harvard spread the fake story, emails the prankster shared with The Daily Caller showed. 9. Student Writes Anti-Muslim Graffiti on His Own Door (Feb. 2017) A Muslim student at Beloit College wrote anti-Muslim graffiti on his own dorm room door. The student was reportedly motivated by a desire to seek attention after a Jewish student was targeted with an anti-Semitic note. 10. Israeli Man Behind Anti-Semitic Bomb Threats in the U.S. (April 2017) Media outlets didn’t wait to find out who was behind a string of bomb threats targeting synagogues and Jewish schools before linking the threats to Trump. A U.S.-Israeli man was charged in April 2017 and indicted in February 2018 for the threats. A former reporter for The Intercept was also charged in March 2017 with making several copycat threats. 11. Hoax at St. Olaf (May 2017) Students at St. Olaf college in Minnesota staged protests and boycotted classes in May 2017 after racist notes targeting black students were found around campus, earning coverage in national media outlets like The Washington Post. It later came out that a black student was responsible for the racist notes. The student carried out the hoax in order to “draw attention to concerns about the campus climate,” the university announced. 12. Fake Hate at Air Force Academy Goes Viral (Sept. 2017)The Air Force Academy was thrown into turmoil in September 2017 when horrific racist notes were found at the academy’s preparatory school. “Go home n***er,” read one of the notes. The superintendent, Lt. Gen. Jay B. Silveria, went viral with an impassioned speech addressing the racist notes. Two months later, authorities determined that one of the students targeted by the notes was also the person responsible for writing them. 13. K-State Fake Hate Crime (Nov. 2017) A student at Kansas State University filed a police report in November 2017 over racist graffiti left on his car. “Go Home N***** Boy” and “Whites Only,” read the racist graffiti, which the student later admitted to writing himself. 14. Racist Graffiti Carried Out by Non-White Student (Nov. 2017) Another instance of racist graffiti that same month also turned out to be a hoax. A Missouri high school investigated after racial slurs were left on a bathroom mirror in November 2017, only to find that the student responsible was “non-white.” 15. Waiter Fakes Note Calling Himself A Terrorist (July 2018) Texas waiter Khalil Cavil went viral after posting a Facebook picture of a racist note that he claimed a customer had left on the receipt, in lieu of a tip. The note described Cavil as a “terrorist.” Saltgrass Steak House, where Cavil worked, initially banned the customers for life, before their investigation revealed that the waiter had faked the racist note. “I did write it,” Cavil later admitted. “I don’t have an explanation. I made a mistake. There is no excuse for what I did.” 16. Waitress Fakes Racist Note, Blames Law Enforcement (July 2018) A Texas waitress apologized in July 2018 after blaming local law enforcement for an offensive note targeting Mexicans. She later admitted to writing the note herself. 17. New York Woman’s Hate Crime That Wasn’t (Sept. 2018) A New York woman was charged in September 2018 after police determined she fabricated a story about white teens yelling racial slurs at her and leaving a racist note on her car. 18. Student Faked Racist Notes (Dec. 2018) Several racist notes at Drake University were actually the work of one of the students who had been targeted by them. “The fact that the actions of the student who has admitted guilt were propelled by motives other than hate does not minimize the worry and emotional harm they caused, but should temper fears,” university president Marty Martin said afterwards. 19. The Covington Catastrophe (Jan. 2019)National media outlets pounced on a selectively edited video from the March for Life that showed Native American activist Nathan Phillips beating a drum in front of a boisterous group of boys from Covington Catholic High School. The exterior of Covington Catholic High School Dennis Griffin stadium is pictured in Park Hills, Kentucky, U.S., January 23, 2019. REUTERS/Madalyn McGarvey Phillips originally told The Washington Post the students swarmed him while he was preparing to leave the Indigenous People’s March scheduled for the same day. Phillips originally said one student, who later identified himself as high school junior Nick Sandmann, blocked his path from leaving as he tried to do so. The extended video shows that wasn’t the case: Phillips approached the high school boys during their cheers, not the other way around. Some of the people with Phillips were directing racially charged language at the students, not the other way around. Phillips told a second variation of his story to the Detroit Free Press. Phillips claimed he was playing the role of peacemaker by getting between the students and four “old black individuals,” whom he claimed the students were attacking. “They were in the process of attacking these four black individuals,” Phillip told the Michigan paper. “I was there, and I was witnessing all of this … As this kept on going on and escalating, it just got to a point where you do something, or you walk away, you know? You see something that is wrong, and you’re faced with that choice of right or wrong.” “These young men were beastly, and these old black individuals was their prey, and I stood in between them and so they needed their pounds of flesh and they were looking at me for that,” he added. Extended video shows that account also isn’t accurate. The four individuals Phillips referenced were members of the Black Hebrew Israelites and they launched racist and anti-gay slurs at the high school students, not the other way around. (RELATED: Nathan Phillips Keeps Changing His Story, Keeps Getting It Wrong) WATCH:   20. Bonus: Anti-Semitic Vandal Exposed as Democratic Activist (Nov. 2018) Anti-Semitic vandalism in New York City turned out to be the work of a Democratic activist, according to police. It wasn’t a hoax — the anti-Semitic vandalism was real — but the suspect wasn’t the right-winger some had assumed him to be. The man police arrested, based on surveillance footage, was 26-year-old James Polite, who had actually interned for City Hall on anti-hate issues. 21. Bonus II: Trump-Inspired Racist Blaze at Black Church Was Carried Out by Black Church-goer (Nov. 2016) This hoax occurred one week before Trump was elected, but TheDCNF is including it as a bonus because it was so egregious. Leftist media outlets ran headlines like “A Black Church Burned in the Name of Trump” after a black church in Greenville, Mississippi, was set on fire and spray painted with the words “Vote Trump.” The Washington Post’s original coverage of the incident read in part,” Greenville Mayor Errick Simmons called the fire a ‘hateful and cowardly act,’ sparked by the incendiary rhetoric of GOP nominee Donald Trump during his presidential campaign.” But the church was set on fire by one of the church’s own congregants, who is black. Why IS All The Rum Gone
This sh*t with Amber Heard and Johnny Depp is absurd. I just spent te better part of my Sunday, listening to a guy talk about it on the YouTube. Dude’s channel is called Incredibly Average and is dedicated to this drama. It’s chock full of deep dives into what we know about the allegations and he does a wonderful job of building a case for Depp. And this is just a guy with an interest in the situation. I can’t imagine what kind of case actual, professional, investigators can build. Ma might be in trouble, for real. I actually like Amber Heard. I don’t think she’s a great actress in any capacity but she’s a delightful option for hot-girl-sprinkles on a bad-movie-sundae. What I’m saying is that she’s hot and i like looking at her in various states of undress. Since she piqued my interest, i opted to do some research on her a while back and immediately learned she was batsh*t crazy so when we found out she was beating the sh*t out of Johnny, I wasn’t surprised. What did surprise is just HOW f*cking nutso she went on Depp.
Amber Heard sh*t in their bed. Whole ass people turds, left in the sheets of their shared marital quarters. After she physically assaulted him and he left. Because he was late to her birthday party. For real? There are witnesses! The property manager, who saw the giant droppings, confronted her about it and she said her Teacup Yorkie did it. Property Manager was like, “Nah”, and she copped to it! She said it was a harmless prank. Raw sh*t where i lay my head to sleep, fresh oyt some adult females asshole, is just an innocent prank? B*tch, for real?? Apparently she’d been stepping out on Depp for the entirety of the marriage, too. Cara Delevigne, or however you write her last name, was rumored to be one of her lovers; A fact she used in one of her depositions for the alleged abuse she suffered at the hands of Depp. Apparently, he was supposed to be all types of upset about her bisexuality or whatever. According to her. There’s footage of her sneaking James Franco, a notorious, serial, molester, himself, into her apartment when Depp was off filming a movie. I think the Wonderland sequel at that point. Another dude, one that she’d be linked to immediately after her separation from Depp, was Elon Musk. Indeed, all of those bruised she claimed were from Johnny, the ones that were actually visible by witnesses, came after a late night sleepover from Musk. Johnny was in f*cking Europe when those happened. Literally touring with his band at the time! I’m not even going to touch upon the leaked audio released to the public where she blatantly admits to being a domestic abuser. She basically calls Depp a pussy for leaving instead of punching her back. Like, for real, b*tch?
Look, again, i like Amber Heard. I think she’s gorgeous. I think she’s an adequate actress. I KNOW she did this sh*t. She did it. She abused Johnny Depp for the entirety of their relationship, physically, mentally, and emotionally, with no regard for anyone else. The most f*cked up thing about this entire situation? Depp legitimately loved her. Or, rather, a version of her. My mans had blinders on because the woman he fell in love with, was NOT who this chick really is. We all do that sh*t, man. Want what is bad for us. hope that it gets better. And Depp held out hope for as long as he could but, f*ck, that sh*t cost him so much. It literally took Amber Heard admitting, on tape, that she thew pans at this dude for anyone to even give Depp the benefit of the doubt. I already knew Heard was nuts. She admits to being crazy. There were already rumors of her abusive nature. When everyone turned on Depp, i was kind of like “Wait and see.” Depp has never given any indication that he is abusive in the slightest. He has a long track record of actually defending people who have suffered indignities. This is a man that was late to his multi-million dollar production, because he lost track of time visiting sick kids in the hospital, dressed up as Jack Sparrow, just to lift their spirits. That doesn’t sound like something a dude so bigoted that he would headbutt his wife in the face because of her bisexuality, would do.
Johnny Depp is owed a goddamn apology. He’s a great actor and an even better person. He’s not perfect, no one is, but he’s not the abusive monster the media has painted him out to be. Dude lost his titular role because of these false allegations and it sucks, especially when the monster turned out to be his accuser. Amber Heard is  textbook abuser and deserves everything happening to her right now. F*ck, dude, Depp even gave her an out! He all but begged her to take this sh*t private and she basically called him a pussy and said no one would believe that she, a 115 lbs woman, could ever abuse him, a big ass man. Kike, that sh*t came out of her mouth! On tape! b*tch, really? Like, holy sh*t! Amber Heard is an abusive monster and, while i enjoy looking at her in things, i know she’s guilty and won’t be mad if her entire world burns to the ground for what she has done to Johnny Depp.
I don’t really care about Hollywood drama like this but THIS case is f*cking bizarre. It’s opportunism at it’s most disgusting by a violent female abuser. It’s cancel culture in the media at it’s worst. It’s the public crucifixion and vindication of an innocent man. It’s the worst case scenario of blindly believing every accusation ever made by a female, while simultaneously ignoring everyone made by a male. As someone who doesn’t understand the motivations of society, i find all of this sh*t fascinating. Like, y’all were wrong about this in the worst way. Amber Heard is basically a supervillain who played the entire METOO movement. How do you come back from that? How do you make amends to Depp for all that?

REUTERS/Madalyn McGarvey Phillips originally told The Washington Post the students swarmed him while he was preparing to leave the Indigenous People’s March scheduled for the same day. Phillips originally said one student, who later identified himself as high school junior Nick Sandmann, blocked his path from leaving as he tried to do so. The extended video shows that wasn’t the case: Phillips approached the high school boys during their cheers, not the other way around. Some of the people with Phillips were directing racially charged language at the students, not the other way around.Phillips told the second variation of his story to the Detroit Free Press. Phillips claimed he was playing the role of peacemaker by getting between the students and four “old black individuals,” whom he claimed the students were attacking. “They were in the process of attacking these four black individuals,” Phillip told the Michigan paper. “I was there and I was witnessing all of this … As this kept on going on and escalating, it just got to a point where you do something or you walk away, you know? You see something that is wrong and you’re faced with that choice of right or wrong.”“These young men were beastly and these old black individuals were their prey, and I stood in between them and so they needed their pounds of flesh and they were looking at me for that,” he added. An extended video shows that account also isn’t accurate. The four individuals Phillips referenced were members of the Black Hebrew Israelites and they launched racist and anti-gay slurs at the high school students, not the other way around. The man policearrested, based on surveillance footage, was 26-year-old James Polite, who had actually interned for City Hall on anti-hate issues. 23.
