I've been taken by inspiration. An AU, Modern Setting, in which Rook and the other protagonists have a rock band. They are the lead singer, Hawke is the bass, Inquisitor is the guitarist (she's actually in another band, but she plays with Rook's one night to make up for her situationship, Solas, leaving the band to start a solo career) and Hero of Ferelden is the drummer. Their manager is Varric, who is also owner of the bar where they usually play. Harding is the bartender, known for making weird cocktail mixes and snacks. One friday night, Taash, Harding's partner, who is security guard in some laboratories, invite their colleagues to the bar to have some drinks and relief some stress. Bellara is super excited and ends up dragging even her boss, Emmrich, who also drags his friend, Johanna, so they can have a nice night out. Little did he know he would get totally smitten with the lead singer of the group. Her eyes always finding him among the public as she sings her new song, which she has been working for a long time and finally the group gave her the thumbs up.

While the world is ending (again), the Hero of Ferelden and his son are on a journey together...

Headcanons:

They met in Arlathan Forest when Morrigan first offered her help to the Veil Jumpers.

They started meeting and discussing theories, sharing their notes on the anomalies, their knowledge about ancient elves...

They started hanging out, going on expeditions and studying artifacts together.

After countless nights chatting around the campfire, they sat closer to each other, as Kieran revealed his feelings to her under a beautiful sea of stars.

When the time came, and his mother told him about the state of the south, where he grew up, he knew they had to do something. But Bellara was working with Rook now, and he knew her mission was as important as his.

He left to fight in the Korcari Wilds, where Darkspawn has been spreading out in the nearby cities. Accompanied by his father, Farron Mahariel (my DAO Warden). Morrigan assisting between the south and the north, using the Crossroad eluvians and her shape shifting abilities to update both sides and quickly assist them.

Before leaving, Kieran gave his Grey Warden necklace, Bellara gave her scarf, as a promise they would meet again, when this is all over...🥹

Finally met Kieran in Inquistion, so I can finally complete this meme that's been sat in my photo gallery since I beat Origins.

Playing Dragon Age: Origins again reminded me of how much I love the relationship between the Warden and Morrigan. The chemistry between them is so beautiful. The way Morrigan tries to stay cold, but slowly opens up, even though she doesn't want to admit what she feels, is incredible. She's constantly fighting against her own feelings, saying that love is a weakness, but when the Warden is around, she smiles (as Wynne mentions). I love how, despite all her toughness, she slowly lets herself be carried away, showing that deep down, she's hopelessly in love with the Warden (even if she denies it to herself).

God… I urgently need to write a story about them.

The Warden in the gif is my Hero of Ferelden (Endriel Cousland). I will post more information about him in the future. :)
