And grabbing the colors for this took some thinking, with the way the Not-Cat icons work, but I managed it! These guys are in the order their turns go in combat, so from left to right, we've got Adeen (Medic), Schilly (Fighter), Crystal (Bard), and Liphanes (Guardian). They are such little creatures!!! I need to draw them more!!!

starting to think. i shouldn't have cut those introductory paragraphs from darling because. i think it DOES really encompass porter's attitude for the upcoming... events in darling.

(it's. really not going to be like epilogue. darling is like a pwp with a vaguely disguised "plot".)

but like.

a HUGE part of why i decided i was okay writing darling is because. it is i think if you look hard enough going to become this weird fucked up little horror story. yea the romance and sex are there but.

he has "actualized." he is cold, malice, spite to compliment porter's heat, rage, war, conquest.

and. very much influenced by @zukkacore and the 4+ jaces incident but. porter looks at jace in darling and is like. trying to be like this is the jace. this is the jace i know. the jace i killed and remade. but also this is the jace i lost. this is the one i was in love with manipulated from day one.

but. no. this jace is something so fucking different.

it was only a week alone but jace stared into the abyss and realized that nothing stared back at him. this is the bad end jace even if it looks like they're getting their happy ending.

I just finished watching Static Shock and what the fuck is that final episode?

They just sprayed a barely tested chemical compound into the air without telling anyone? They just forcibly introduced a meta-human cure without the consent of a single meta-human? Some of those guys fly! What happens if the cure takes effect while they’re 300 feet up and they die because they didn’t know you were taking their powers away?

Have you tested this shit on regular humans at all? Are you 100% certain it’s safe for them to breathe? What about immune-compromised people? People with allergies? People with asthma? Pregnant people and literal infants? How do you know it’s safe for them?

And you’re just spraying that shit all over the fucking city with NO announcements? NO warnings? NO vote or even a poll to see if people would be cool with that? Your governor approved that? What the FUCK?
