Cosplay!!!! (I don’t support JK Rowling in the slightest, this is my oldest cosplay and I adore the character but I do not support her nor to I encourage anyone to buy directly from her buy your stuff secondhand :D )

Disregard my messy bathroom it’s the only room with good lighting and needed to be cleaned but I cosplayed instead 💀

I didn’t do something for inktober today since I was at my local icon! It was very fun :D

We all sang Hamilton together, it was awesome. Also I cosplayed as Hermione!

PSA: READ THIS POST.

I need to get this out of my chest. As a cosplayer, I'm gonna say it. I find it SO fucking ABSOLUTELY creepy. When people force them to make the FICTIONAL CHARACTER, I cosplay as they treat me as if I AM the character just to release their fantasies. Like I have no problem playing along but if you're gonna be a creep.

Yk, what? I'm calling them out they're not here anyway. I have had incidents commonly while I cosplayed hermione granger. There was a guy probably around his 30 or more claiming he's the real Harry Potter. Mind you, I met him when I was 16 and currently I HAD a boyfriend at that time and yet he kept harrassing me with multiple accounts trying to 'ship' himself with me and not only had this happened whilst I cosplay as hermion but as well as DRACO MALFOY, TICCI TOBY AND VIOLET HARMON.

I genuinely can not stress enough how disgusting this is that im being treated more as a fictional character than a real person as if my identity was actually just a FICTIONAL being. As if I don't have my own struggles, eg. Just because I have most things in common with a character or such or cause I cosplay them doesn't mean im them and just because you find me to be 'clearly' accurate to the character and I play along. There is a difference between playful teasing and borderline bullying. You think im stupid enough not to figure out you're giving me backhanded bullying and responding how it's only related to the character, especially how I'd be led on because I'm so 'closely' potray to the character that you fantasise being with? Lay over it.

Im setting boundaries if we are NOT friends, especially if we are not close. Do not flirt on me, especially if you're at the age of 25+. All in-character interactions WILL strictly only be responded to in my incharacter blogs, or else I'm not responding at all, including anything that sounds like bullying me.

And PLEASE avoid being embarrassing. You have no right to ever call me out, especially if we are 'nothing' and you have no right to comment on my relationships. You are not slick, and it's not funny, especially when we're not close and you're not in the same age range at me and especially if I AM dating someone. I don't respect or find it funny whenever someone talks behind my partner.

Okay so I *might* be stretching the prompt a bit, but my youngest two wanted to be Zelda and Link for Halloween this year and we took some super cute shots of them "in character", and I just had to share with my LoZ fam! (Look at pic 3🥹😭)
