Curly

Curly would pick the Happy Hugs Teddy Bear for you!

Okay, really Curly let you pick which bear you wanted. There's no way he could decide out of all the choices there, plus he might not pick the right one and he really wants you to just get one you'll really love- he would definitely overthink things. So of course you had to pick one with the same wavy blonde locks that remind you of him ♡

For his special message, he would say,

"You’re my special girl."

In his sweet and soft voice. If he had his way, he would sing a lullaby, so that when you couldnt sleep at night, you could squeeze your teddy and hear his voice sing you to sleep- but he’s way too shy to do that in public, so he kept it a bit short but sweet.

You both give the heart a kiss and a rub, and Curly helps you fill the bear with just the right amount of stuffing.

He would definitely turn beet red when he realizes how often you're going to be pressing the bear's tummy just to hear his voice... HE'S SHY..!! And now everyone is going to hear him be SOFT OH GOD..

But he melts when you look up at him, so so happy you have a teddy that makes you feel just as safe and loved as he does, so maybe a little bit of embarrassment is worth it

Bonus Idea: If for some reason there was a Post-Crash Curly in this scenario, then when you two cuddle he would reach over and press the bear's tummy whenever he wants to remind you that you're still his special girl, even if he can't say it to you himself ♡

Anya

Anya would pick the Wolf Pup Stuffed Animal for you!

Anya would choose a wolf because she was a wolf girl growing up of its pretty silver color and their connection to the moon ♡ One of her favorite activities is looking up at the stars with you, and now you'll have a soft new friend to join you two.

Her special message to you would be

"I'll always love you, starlight."

She would say in her soft and silky voice, using her special pet name for you to make you smile.

"Let's make sure she's squeaky clean, okay?" She would say, helping you brush the plush's fur and give it a pretend bath, rubbing behind its ears for good measure.

She'd ruffle your hair and tell you what a good job you did!

When you get home, she would spray it with her perfume so it even smells like her ♡ I think she would smell like lavender or clean linen :)

Daisuke

Daisuke would pick the Sun Sparkle Teddy Bear for you!

Daisuke would pick this bear for you because of all the fun colors !!! (And because you said no to his sillier picks... no, you do not want a minions build a bear, Daisuke...)

His special message to you is

"Hi Pookie I just want you to know I think you're like totally the cutest girl ever! And I hope whenever you hug this bear you think of me and that way you won't ever ever have to miss me! And- Oh, the lady is telling me Im running out of ti-"

Even when he isn't trying, Daisuke is always making you laugh.

In fact, when stuffing the bear, he may have tried to overfill it just a tad... It was almost impossible to sew the bear closed.

He would definitely go on a small shopping spree picking out all the outfits your bear will need (Surfing, at the office, fancy dinner, etc. Typical bear activites.) Until you calm him down and pick out just one cute Hawaiian shirt for your new friend to wear :)

Jimmy

Jimmy would pick the Fuzzy Fox Stuffed Animal for you!

I think he would choose this one because of the muted colors. It's not overly bright and cheery but still cute enough for his little girl. (But not cuter than him, right? ... Right?!)

For his voice message, he would say:

"I love you, baby doll..."

in a low, gravelly voice. He’s embarrassed to say anything, to be honest, doubly so when both you and the worker go "Awww!" at his declaration.

He lets you rub the heart and add it to your new friend.

He would tell you you overstuffed him, now he's fat (He's just teasing)

He's always messing with you and playing with you. When you go to give your new friend a bath, he plays with the plushie while you try to bathe it. "I don't want a bath! Noo, I wanna stay dirty! You're drowning me!" He puts on a funny voice, just for you. You're the only one who can get him to lighten up, smile, and be playful like this, especially when you giggle and desperately try to give your mischievous plushie a pretend bath.

summary: summer is over, most of your siblings are gone, but you still can't relax. fortunately, luke is pretty good at it.

“This feels weird.” 

“How does it feel weird?” Luke asks, amused. 

“We’re just… sitting here,” you say. 

“Is that a problem?” 

Your head rests on Luke’s chest as you lay in your bed together, one of his arms curled protectively around you as he keeps the other behind his head. Every so often, he trails his fingers down your arm, plays with your hair a bit, adjusts his position to make you more comfortable. 

You can feel the warmth of his skin even through his camp shirt, and it makes up for the slight chill of the Athena cabin. He’s basically your own personal space heater. You wouldn’t classify any of this as a problem. 

“No,” you say. “The opposite of a problem.” 

Luke chuckles, and you can feel his eyes on you. “Then why does it feel weird?” 

You let out a huff and sit up, turning to face your boyfriend. “Because we’re just sitting here.” 

“You’ve already said that, babe.” He smiles, and you have the urge to kiss him right there. You wonder if he knows the power he holds with that damn smile. 

“It’s too quiet,” you say, gesturing around your cabin. “It’s never a good sign when things are quiet.” 

“Could that be because more than half of your cabin is gone?” he asks. 

“My siblings are smart,” you say. “They’re good at causing chaos in silence.” 

“And if they are, that’s a problem for another day.” 

“I’m still forgetting something,” you insist. “Are you sure I’m off the clock for today?” 

Luke nods. “All the counselors get the day off from leading lessons after the last day of summer. Everyone’s off the clock.” 

“And I don’t have anything I need to clear with Chiron.” 

“You had the conversation with him about going into the city to get stuff for Jane’s party last week, and we’re taking a van out in two days,” Luke says. “Nothing else I know of.” 

“You’re sure?” 

“Positive.” 

“There’s really nothing else?” 

“Nothing,” he promises. 

You look around your cabin and shake your head. “No. No— this place is a mess. I’ve got to clean up before inspections—” 

Luke catches your wrist as you try to get up and says your name softly. “Your cabin is spotless, ace. I think I can see my reflection in the floorboards.” 

“Still, Luke,” you insist as you look at him. “There’s got to be something we should be doing.” 

“There isn’t!” he exclaims. “I’ve never met anyone more desperate to be doing busy work, babe. All that talk about us getting some alone time for nothing.” 

“I just have this feeling that I’m missing something,” you say as you shake your head.

Luke laughs again, and you find yourself smiling just at the sound. He’s just so beautiful when he’s happy. “Alright, ace. Want me to ease your worries?” 

“You can try,” you say. “But you’ve spent enough time with Annabeth to know what she’s capable of. Imagine dealing with a whole cabin of Annabeths.” 

“You may have a whole cabin of Annabeths, but I’ve got a whole cabin of thieves, pranksters, and unclaimed kids. I think I’ve had my fair share of cleaning up messes.” 

“Alright, pretty boy,” you say, your smile growing despite yourself. “Ease my worries.” 

Luke nods, and he sits up so he can be eye level with you. He’s still got your wrist in his hand, and as he talks, he absentmindedly trails his thumb over your skin. “Yesterday was the last day of summer, and half of camp is gone, including your cabin. We spent the entire day fixing things up and making sure all our siblings were ready to go and doing everything Chiron and Mr. D asked. Everyone that wanted to leave left, all the counselors—including you—executed everything flawlessly, and there is nothing left to do but relax for a bit.” 

“My cabin—” 

“You’ve already cleaned it three times,” Luke says. 

“It doesn’t hurt to do it a fourth,” you shrug. 

Luke smiles and shakes his head. “It’s spotless, ace. The only thing left to do is enjoy some well-deserved alone time.”  

You meet his gaze, that slight smile still on your lips, and Luke tilts his head. “So? Have your worries been eased?” 

“...Mostly,” you say, and your smile turns coy. “Some kisses might help me forget them completely, though.” 

Luke laughs, and his eyes gleam as they drop down to your lips for a moment. He brings you even closer with the hand still around your wrist, then he drops it in favor of slinging an arm around your waist. When he speaks, his voice is much softer, though it’s got a rugged edge.

“Now that is something I can do.”

the room was dimly lit, the only light provided coming from the soft glow of your bedside lamp. the giant stuffed bear matt had given you sat propped up against your pillows, its fur soft beneath your fingers. you’d been tossing and turning all night, your mind restless and your body tense with unreleased sexual frustration. without thinking much of it, you rolled over — pulling yourself onto its lap, your legs straddling it as you absentmindedly shifted your weight.

the small movement sent a shiver down your spine, and before you realized it, you were rocking gently, your breaths coming a little quicker. the plush softness pressing against your clothed clit, coupled with the thought that matt had picked it out just for you, made your cheeks heat up — a small whimper escaping past your lips.

your eyes closed, hips picking up the pace, grinding down a little harder against the plush bear. soft moans sounded through the room, growing louder each passing second — thoughts of matt flashed through your head, wishing it was him under you instead of the bear.

you were so lost in your head that you didn’t hear the creak of the bedroom door or the soft sound of matt’s footsteps. it wasn’t until his voice broke through the haze that your eyes snapped open. your hips stopped, head turning toward him.

“enjoying yourself, sweetheart?” he teased, the sound rough — like he was enjoying the little show you were putting on. he leaned against the doorframe, his arms crossed over his chest, watching you with a raised brow, a smirk plastered on his lips.

your face went hot instantly, and you scrambled to try and sit back — but he tusked, leaning off the frame and striding over to the bed where you were. “ah - you stay put baby.” he said, crawling to sit on the bed behind you, reaching out to place his hands on your hips, keeping you in place on top of the bear. “matt! i — i didn’t know you were here,” you stammered.

he hummed, “mhm, i can tell sweetheart-“ he said softly, fingers digging into your flesh. “-keep going, c’mon.” he urged, his hands starting to push and pull on your hips.

you gasped, hands gripping the stuffed animal in front of you as the friction against your clit started again. matt chuckled, leaning his head onto your shoulder as he continued to move your hips. “were you thinkin’ of me baby? wishin’ it was me instead?” he asked, his breath hot against your neck as he leaned down to press light kisses to the skin.

you moaned, nodding your head. “hm - i want words sweetheart.” he groaned, squeezing the flesh of your hips tighter as he sped up the movements. “y-yeah was.. mm - thinking of you..how you got t-this f’me.” you say breathlessly, head tipping back slightly as the pressure started to grow in your lower abdomen.

“y’like that i got it for you baby?” he teased, his kisses turning into nips against your flesh. “l-love it!” you squeaked, another moan slipping from you.

the combination of matt speaking to you and how he was moving you against something he got for you, made your stomach tighten more.

“matt.. gonna-“ your words cut of by a whine as he moved your hips more sharply against the soft fur. “mhm, i know. gonna cum for me baby? finish allll over the plush i got f’you?” he rasped, pulling away from your neck to rest his head on your shoulder once more.

you nodded, now moving your hips on your own accord with his hands still guiding you. the pleasure became too much as you ground down more, the knot snapping like a rubber band. you shuttered, moaning matt’s name loudly as you came all over the stuffed bear under you.

matt’s eyes never tore away from you, watching you come undone in front of him. “fuuck - good job baby, so good.” he praised, slowing your hips to a slow rhythm as he helped you ride out your high. once you were done, he let your hips go — your body leaning back against his chest as he slithered his arms around your middle.

your body went slack, melting into his embrace as you started to grow tired — the earlier relentless fading into exhaustion. you let out a long sigh, a small smile tugging at your lips at how content you felt.

matt smiled down at you, leaning forward to press a kiss to your temple. “maybe i’ll have to get you more at some point..” he mumbled out. and that was the last thing your heard before drifting off to sleep.

Jake’s stopped at a traffic light, picking up tacos for date night when he sees his father for the first time in almost thirty years, crossing the street in front of him. He’s wearing a neat button down shirt, jeans that look new and he has two kids with him, twins boys holding matching teddy bears underneath their arms.

It’s a massive shock to the system because honestly he thought the man was dead.

He doesn’t intend to follow him, he doesn’t intend to end up sitting outside a house in the most middle class area of San Diego he can think of, watching him eat dinner with a woman who certainly isn’t his mother. He’d just wanted to make sure that those kids were safe, that they weren’t being sold off for meth, the same way that he was when he was their age.

It takes him a while to accept that what he’s seeing right now, it’s a family, not a con but an actual honest to God family and that does something to Jake, it twists him up inside, it ravages him because he doesn’t understand why he couldn’t have this, why he had to grow up in foster homes unwanted.

It’s the chiming of his phone that draws him back to reality, he checks the time and realises two hours have passed and he doesn’t understand how that could have happened. You must be worried, he knows but in that moment he can’t bring himself to vocalise any of this so he lets it ring out and goes back to watching this family, the one he never had.

modern!eddie, angst, proposal/wedding. i feel like i might get attacked for this one sorry.

"Hey," Eddie's voice came from behind you, still in his grey suit but the jacket and the tie had been shed, the boutonniere upside down and smushed from the reception.

"Lost you in there." Eddie grinned, eyes a little red rimmed from the beer he'd been downing at the open bar.

You didn't respond, fingers drumming against your champagne flute, looking out at the venue strung in lights. "You alright?" Eddie's brows pinched, moving beside you.

"Yeah," Your voice was tighter than you liked, swallowing a lump that seemed to only grow, choking you more and more. "Just... needed some air."

"Yeah, it is a little hot in there. The smoke machine is a killer. Feels like I'm at prom again." Eddie snorted lightly. "My hair's gonna look like Hagrid's by the end of the night."

Normally you would've smiled, grinned with narrowed eyes and retorted with something that teetered on playful and snarky. Instead, your gaze was held, distant as you looked over the rolling hills.

"Hey, okay," Eddie leaned against the railing, looking up at you. "What's going on?"

"Nothing-"

"-Nah, don't give me that." Eddie shook his head. "What's going on? You were fine earlier, and then you left."

Your nose burned, fiery with emotion that threatened to bubble out, to spill over. "Baby," Eddie cooed, his hand brushing over yours. "What's wrong?"

You hesitated, contemplating shaking him off and going back inside, back to the table where he couldn't confront you. Back to the table that was the same reason you had left.

"I just... You know, everyone kept asking if we were next." You muttered, refusing to look at him, eyes trained on your glass. "When we'd finally get married."

Eddie paused, lips twitching the way they did when he was uncomfortable. "Yeah?"

"Yeah," You looked at him.

"Did you tell them we didn't want to get married?" Eddie pressed lightly, his own fingers beginning to drum on the concrete of the balcony.

"No," You bit, a raging burst of fury shooting through your system. "I told them you didn't want to get married."

"Baby," Eddie's face fell, a sigh accompanying his words. "Can we- Can we not do this here? Please?"

We've already talked about this.

It's just a piece of paper. We're already basically married. Why does it matter?

I don't want to get married. Never wanted it, and I'm not changing my mind. Doesn't mean I don't love you.

All the words he didn't say now but still lingered from times before. The rejection, the bitter sting of your dreams shattered. You thought someone as affectionate as Eddie was would jump at the first mention of marriage.

Here, watching Jeff and his bride dance, laugh and cry at the alter, pouring out promises and oaths to the other, it was hard not to feel bitter. The widened glances that came your way with the dreaded question, the twitching of lips when you'd reply. Every Facebook post you'd see of another classmate from high school getting married, engaged, honeymooning. It made you rage with jealous frustration.

"C'mon, let's just go back in and have fun. Please? I don't want to fight about this right now." Eddie pleaded, eyes rounding sweetly enough that it made your heart pang with affection, maybe with aching hurt.

You didn't respond, jaw clenched in what you hoped was a neutral expression- one that would pass for the resting bitch face you were known for, and not a tear filled one.

“She’s been in her room all day.”

Lando frowned, his elbows leaning against the kitchen counter as he watched you make your way around the room. “All day?”

“She came in after school and just ran upstairs,” you nodded as you let out a long sigh. “She wouldn’t even say anything in the car. Just dead silent.”

His frown deepened. “Do you think something happened at school?”

“Probably,” you guessed before you turned to your husband, a sheepish smile on your face. “Can you please try talking to her?” 

Lando opened his mouth.

“Yes, I’m her mother but she adores you,” you interrupted before he had a chance, knowing exactly what he was going to say. “She’s been a daddy’s girl since day one.”

He puffed his chest out. “She’s my princess.”

“Go check on your princess then,” you said as you nodded towards the stairs. “And I’ll deal with the gremlins.”

Lando smiled cheekily. “Hey now, my boys aren’t gremlins.”

“They are, they take after you,” you retorted with a wink before you turned back to the dinner you were preparing for the family.

But you weren’t wrong. Since the day Evangeline Norris was born, she had her father wrapped around her finger. And just in the same way, she looked at her father like he hung the moon and the stars in the sky just for. 

She was your oldest child, the first one to have Lando Norris sobbing in the delivery room when they put his daughter in his arms and welcomed him to fatherhood. And for reasons unbeknownst to you, Lando and Eva got on like a house on fire. From day one, they had been practically attached to the hip and had a bond that nobody could ever compare to, not even yourself. 

So to come home and hear his little princess came home upset, Lando was more than concerned. He was holding himself back from spiralling, from burning down the world to know who made his baby girl upset. 

Knock! Knock!

“Go away!”

Knock! Knock!

“I don’t want dinner! Leave me alone!”

Knock! Knock!

“Mum, I said—”

“Eva, honey, open up.”

There was a pause before a timid voice whispered, “daddy?” 

“Yeah, I’m here, honey.”

It took less than ten seconds before the door to the bedroom swung open. Lando felt like somebody had caved his chest in when he caught sight of his daughter’s face, her eyes glossy and her cheeks tear-stricken. She had been sobbing. His little girl had been crying and now, she looked so lost and confused and upset and he just wanted to hold her in his arms and never let her go. 

“Oh, Eva-Bunny,” he murmured before he wrapped his arms around his daughter and pulled her into his chest. It didn’t take long for her to break down into tears again. He guided her back into the room, closing the door behind them. He pressed his lips against the top of her head, his hands stroking up and down her back. “Speak to me, honey.” 

“It’s embarrassing,” she grumbled into his chest. 

“Nothing is embarrassing to me,” Lando replied, pressing another lingering kiss on the crown of her head. “Tell me.”

There was a brief pause before she muttered, “Jack broke up with me.” 

Now, Lando knew Jack. He was a good kid, but nothing special in his eyes. However, he knew his daughter was lovestruck the second she saw him. Eva had been over the moon to tell you and Lando about Jack, about the date he asked her out on, about all the kind things he said. Lando hadn’t liked it one bit but you always smacked his arm and told him it was bound to happen with Eva growing up. 

But now holding his crying daughter in his arms because Jack upset her? Lando was ready to throw his scrawny sixteen year old ass to the wolves.

“Then he’s an idiot,” Lando stated bluntly because it was a fact. Nobody would ever be good enough for his Eva, especially not someone like Jack. 

“It’s my fault,” she continued to cry into her father’s chest. “He wanted someone better like Stacy—”

“Nuh uh,” Lando quickly cut his daughter off as he pulled back, taking her face in his hands so she could look him in the eyes as he spoke. “Don’t do that. Don’t say stuff like that when it’s not true.”

Eva sniffled. “But it is.” 

“It is not,” Lando stated simply as his thumbs slowly brushed away any stray tears. “Eva, honey, you’re one of the most amazing girls in this world. It’s Jacob’s loss.”

“Jack,” she corrected with a small smile before she shook her head. “And you have to say that. You’re my dad.”

“Exactly. I’m your dad, not a liar,” he said with a cheeky grin. “Honey, I know it hurts. It’s your first love, it will always hurt. But you deserve so much better than him and you’ll find it. You know how I know that?”

Eve looked doubtful. “How?”

“Because I’m you dad and I know everything,” he replied, grinning a little wider when he heard his daughter giggle. “But also because I know there’s someone out there who is gonna see just how amazing you are, see the perfect girl that I see. And he would never break your heart like Jamie.”

“Jack,” Eva corrected again with a snort before she tightened her arms around his waist. “Thank you.”

“Plus, what did you expect from a J name?” Lando scoffed as he held her close to his chest, one hand protectively placed on the back of his head. “Scum of the Earth.”

Eva giggled again. “Is that because Mum’s ex before you had a J name?”

“Maybe,” Lando replied indifferently. “Don’t tell your mother I swore in front of you, but he was a dick. He was your mother’s Jack. You’re gonna find your forever boy, it’s what my princess deserves.”

“I love you, Dad,” Eva murmured softly.

“I love you too, Eva-Bunny,” Lando whispered back.

🧸 You're the most beautiful being he has ever laid eyes on. At the start he would be too shy to approach you. So he will ask his friends about love and relationships, but also what they know about druids, which isn't so easy since druids aren’t common at all (at least in my fanfictions).

🧸 Ori LOVES your animal forms, specially the ones with fur and he will ask you as nicely as he can master, if he can pet you in any of it's form.

 “Excuse me y/n, if you ever would have the time to transform into any animal, would it be alright if i could pet you? Of course only if you would be fine with it and if it wouldn't make you uncomfortable?”

🧸 If you came with them on their journey to take back Erebor, Ori will tell you awkwardly and a bit shyly, that he doesn't mind holding you if you ever get tired of flying/walking. 

🧸 He is going to try so hard for you! You are so strong, dependable and just so amazing to him. Ori is really looking up to you and he wants you to feel like you can depend on him too! He wants to protect you too, even if he isn't so strong, but he will train extra hard for you! You probably have to tell him once in a while that he is good enough or he will think he is unworthy of you.

Thorin

💎 Doesn't believe Gandalf when he tells him that a druid will be supporting them in their journey. 

“Nobody I know has ever met a druid and hearing about them isn't often. I bet they are nothing but a myth”.

💎 When Thorin meets you he still doesn't believe you're a druid. Just probably an odd wizard/witch that is playing tricks on him. Until you transform…holy shit! Can wizards/witches do that?? He looks at Gandalf only to see him smirking. 

💎 It isn't your animal forms or element abilities that interest him, but the way you transform. The way your body bends and takes shapes after whatever you are supposed to transform to. The moment you change, the moment he has his eyes on you. It may be weird for you or him, but Thorin can't help it! It's so fascinating and it's like he is trying to figure out how you are doing it, but always fails. 

💎 Thorin has probably been looking at you a little too much during battles because the way you fight with your abilities makes you look so gorgeous. Which could leave him getting seriously injured if his teammates didn't watch his back.

“Y/n stop distracting Thorin! Or he loses his focus and dies before making it to Erebor!”

“What!? I didn't do anything?!”

Thorin: “S-shut up!”

Elrond

🍁 He knows the moment he sees you, that you're a druid. 

“It was a long time ago I met a druid. I’m glad to see there's still some more out there”.

🍁 Elrond will invite you over for dinner and have them serve you the best they can make. And he’ll offer you a place to stay for a few days if you're not in a hurry somewhere else.

🍁 The first time you showed him your powers. You'd asked Elrond about the beautiful flowers in his garden and if you could take some seeds with you. Elrond of course accepted and was about to go and get you the seeds but he stopped in his tracks and watched you move your hands around one of the flowers and give it enough energy to have it grow the seeds you needed. Elrond stood there speechless. That was something he’d never witnessed before and it was so magnificent.

yourusername: one thing I was never taught why how hard this goodbye is. I've called this company home since I was 4 alongside the best girl in the whole world. I learned so much about dancing, myself, and life. Tonight I debuted with a new dance company, my second one in all my 22 years of life. Thank you so much Charles for composing a piece that speaks what I cannot. Sure bro. here are some chess people and some headcanons i have

🧸👶BABIES!👶🧸

It's not confirmed if carapace can reproduce naturally or if they can only multiply using the ectobiology machines.

On sburb, the chess people are born as adults and with a specific purpose, with a barcode on their wrist to identify the, i guess, model. So there are no babies on Prospit or Derse.

The babies the players made in the post credits would be the first carapace children to exist.

I headcanon that they're born with a full set of teeth that fall eventually, like with any other child.

They're a little more squishy than an adult carapace but less than a human baby

i also though it'd be cool if sometimes they got black or white spots

(Also, even if chess people remember living for years before the arrival of the players, they effectively began to exist the moment the first player enters the game, those memories being an illusion, same as how, when you buy a game and turn it on, the NPCs might tell you about their childhood, when in reality, they were never kids in the real world, they were rendered as adults for the purpose of being there in the game. The same happens with the chess people)

Like before, there are no carapace children in sburb, but I imagine they would be the quiet type of kids. Not necessarily shy, but not very talkative.

They would have a lot of energy and due to their physical endurance, they would play outside a lot, sometimes a little too rough with the human and troll kids

I guess this is the period where they would become more vocal.

Also, I can see many of them using a lot of hats/accessories as a form of self-expression.

They're the strongest, a lot of them have more pointy features than their teenage counterparts, some may retain the round face into adulthood, but they would still be sturdier than a teen. Their hands have now fully developed claws. They aren't strong enough to open a can, but they can hurt

EarthC adult carapace specifically would be more talkative than Sburb's carapace. Also, not having a predetermined role to fulfill, they would be more similar to humans. If you dropped one of them on one of the sburb moon, they would stand out a lot.

Last but not least, the elderly carapace. Sburb carapace didn't seem able to age, or at least they did so very slowly, because their purpose was to live long enough to act as sort of guides to the players after being exiled.

I suppose they can grow old eventually, specially the ones born outside the game, as babies, they most likely have a shorter lifespan that their Prospit/Derse counterparts.

Probably you can tell they're old because of the damage to their external carapace, which isn't as hard as it used to and their posture, product of time taking a tool on them.

As for wrinkles, they're only visible in their faces, which are softer for facial expression, but they don't even get that many

(also, just so you know i cried drawing the chicken grampa carapace, he knows his wife loves birds so he bought her a chicken, that's not exactly the kind of bird she expected but loves it regarthless, the chicken's name is gertrude, the grampa loves gertrude, she's a chicken orb, a chorb if you will. they're all happy, i would die for chicken-grampa)

And that's all, that's how I imagine EarthC carapace work. They're not so different from the Sburb carapace, but they get to experience growing up and deciding what to do with their lives.

So when that happened, you had practically fainted due to hunger and the light

They couldn’t kill you, because after further inspection, they realized you were human(-ish) so they took you in for interrogation, having you tied up on a chair with ropes all around your arms, wrists, ankles, thighs, basically everywhere

When they realized you were a hybrid, they were quite scared for their safety, but also concerned for you, maybe you had been forced to transform like that, maybe you were in the same shoes as them, having been in a field trip and been stuck here, or maybe you were just born like that

You finally woke up from fainting and immediately had a headache and all sorts of aches everywhere from the massive lights shunned at you when they were asking questions

Turns out, you were just part human, having been born like that in the phantom world

You were starving tho, so they somewhat fed you (they gave you a granola bar and an apple)

After that, they kept you in the chair until further notice, having you in a separate bus, and each night, they send someone to stay with you the entire time, questioning you and making sure you’re not doing something /going anywhere

Tyler, Ben and Logan didn’t like the idea of having you around, you were weird, you were different, you were apart of them

But at the same time, they couldn’t kill you, you were too humanized to the point if they even did end up killing you, they would be haunted by the thought of murdering someone

Ashlyn and Taylor were on edge, they hated being put at risk of danger, they hated the thought of you releasing from the chair and doing god knows what

They couldn’t trust you one bit, but they still took care of you, having to slowly build yours and their trust together

While you’re taken hostage, they’re the ones who usually feed you, they eventually found out that you’re a carnivore, having to be eating meat. But you still ate the granola bars and other food they gave you, but it wasn’t a good option of food.

You had harmed yourself when you jumped in to protect logan from a phantom, earning a large scratch all across your chest down to your pelvis

And after getting to a safe place, they immediately treated you up (thanks ben)

But it didnt take long for it to heal (regeneration) but they still felt bad

After that, you gained logan’s respect and trust, the others…you just gained respect

but eventually with a lot of bonding and sharing adventures together, they trusted you

It took a while, along with a rocky path, but they trusted you and thats all you needed

Sirius grins and lets you in. “He’s in the living room,” he says, sounding exasperated and like Remus is maybe worse than you’d initially thought. “Good luck, doll.”

You spare Sirius a sarcastic smile before making your way to the living room. You spot Remus almost immediately, not because he’s the centre of attention, he never is, but because it’s like you’ve got eyes only for him sometimes. He’s smooshed on the couch between James and Marlene, looking totally hard done by.

“Y/N!” James cheers, spotting you in the doorway first, because Remus is too busy struggling to keep his eyes open. “Thank goodness you’re here.”

He elbows Remus, whose head is thrown back against the couch cushions as he squints at the overhead lights. Remus whirls on James, so fast you’re worried it makes him dizzy.

“What do you want?” He grumbles, as if he’s been interrupted from doing something very important. Like staring at Sirius’s light fixture.

Everyone groans, not including you. Remus doesn’t even take notice. His eyes have fallen to your stomach. He pinches at the fabric of your shirt.

“You’re wearing my shirt,” he says, like he’s had an epiphany, like you’ve never worn an item of his clothing before. His hands slide over your stomach and around your waist, clasping against the small of your back. He looks up at you, his chin digging into your stomach, with far too much fondness for a public setting like this. “Looks good on you, gorgeous.”

Another round of groans, though you’re starting to think the groaning is more affectionate than annoyed. Either way, you think you better get your poor drunk boyfriend out of here before he embarrasses himself further.

“Thank you, Remus,” you say. You manage to squeeze your forearms in between his chest and your stomach so you can take his face in your hands. His head goes heavy in your hands and he smiles drunkenly.
