More big brother ghost AU because I'm insufferable and this is actually what I wanted to post last night when I ended up writing baby Yue Qi angst instead.

Shen Yuan, being the adult who awkwardly tried to raise Yue Qi and Shen Jiu, absolutely gave them some horrendous modern lingo and habits. Also, SVSSS came out in 2015, so we can presume that Shen Yuan also died in 2015, and so they know horrible outdated memes now.

Consider, if you will, you are Shang Qinghua. You transmigrated into your shitty porn novel 25 years ago, and the pre-plot stuff is beginning. You're already set up as head disciple, and oh look! Baby Qi-Ge is here! You somehow managed to not notice until he was already head disciple and bonded with Xuan Su, but oh well, you've been busy.

You're in a peak lord meeting, and your shizun is talking about yet another Bai Zhan disciple who somehow managed to break his arm in three places by falling into the An Ding waste disposal pit. I will say, on my main, @isa-ghost, I've reblogged a ton of liveblogging stuff that kind of gives you context in detail? But in reverse order because, yknow, that's how reblog chronology works or whatever.

This don't stop the party edit is a good tldr of the beginning of it all but you gotta pause to really read it so I'm gonna summarize via bullet points too.

XQC clapped back saying Tommy went from dickriding Dr*m to making jokes to 17 year old girls irl (which is sexist to say but I digress)

Dr*m gets involved for some fuckign reason (he wants attention that's why) and makes a meme calling all dsmp stans (he later claims he meant inniters specifically) the r slur

Later deletes all his tweets abt it, but prior to doing so he TRIPLED DOWN ON USING THE R SLUR. Tommy, Tubbo, Jack, Sneeg, and so so so many other CCs now have been ripping him apart for the last 48 hours. Tubbo has dissected everything he's said on Twitter and a Reddit post he made yesterday

Last night at like midnight to 3am his time, Dr*m goes live and dissects Tubbo's vod of him dissecting Dr*m's shit and Dr*m GENUINELY CRASHES OUT for 3 FUCKING HOURS, most of which was him projecting on Tommy hardcore and lying and manipulating AS USUAL. If you care enough, I'd watch Tubbo's vod. OR you can probably find a summary somewhere but it's. A lot.

Tubbo went live at 10am CST today dissecting Dr*m's crashout, which lasted FOUR FUCKING HOURS. He was meant to talk to Dr*m directly on stream today but then--

Tommy posted a 5 min vid clapping back very concisely so Dr*m is in the process of making a response vid, therefore he canceled his chat with Tubbo.

Quackity tweeted he would be going live because during Dr*m's crashout he name dropped SEVERAL ex-dsmp members and other people such as Ludwig, a6d, the girl GNF assaulted, Gumball's VA. The list goes on. However, idk for sure if Quackity is gonna talk abt this, all he tweeted was "going live later" basically.

47 MCYT CCs were tuned in to Tubbo's dissection stream today at one point or another. I haven't seen MCYT this united since we all ousted W*lbur for abusing Shelby Shubble (you said you haven't been around since the dsmp finale so idk how much abt that you know. It happened in late Feb last year)

oh ok heres a mildly warm take but not really i hate the ‘owca animals are therapy animals for the badguys’ meme theory. partly because it’s just not consistent with how owca is in the show, at all, it’s explicitly a shitty and exploitative military organization, god knows theyre not offering any therapy to their own paramilitary agents who occasionally die on the job and could really use it lol. but also it’s another way of reducing perry’s character, taking the realworld concept of a ‘therapy animal’ who’s basically there for you to pet and hug and grafting it onto a complex fully fledged-out guy if perry is therapeutic to heinz it’s as his equal, as his best friend and someone to talk to, that he’s an animal is inconsequential to this (because he’s definitely not letting heinz cuddle him haha. unless?) and it’s by perry’s choice, we see how his choices to spend time with doof and help him are explicitly outside of the role assigned to him by owca. but perry CAN be a ‘therapy animal’ to the flynn-fletchers, i love this for him and phineas specifically, because he’s forced to be a realistic pet there.

Hihihi, Can I request a Logan x reader where reader is his race engineer? Some pre - established relationship hurt / comfort maybe? Like after one of Logan's DNFs, his self esteem is at all time low and reader is just soft and gentle with him instead of like. Maybe he's in his driver room and Reader comes in to go over the data of the race, but notices that Logan is not doing well, so she just comforts him. Logan huffed as he sat in his driver’s room, another shitty race finished with Williams. James had given him a bollocks-ing, and he wasn’t interested in the looks of pity from his own team that he’d have to endure, so he sat, alone, wondering when he became a fraud. In F2 he was fighting for wins, on the podium every few weeks, now? He was stuck with a backmarker team who didn’t care about him. 

There was a knock at the door and you appeared. “Hey Logan,” you smiled softly. Y/n Y/l/n, his race engineer. “There’s some data James wants me to go over with you-” you stopped, seeing that sine in his eyes you’d been seeing more frequently. You noticed it, everyone did. The way his eyes glossed over when he got out of the car. The way his shoulders sagged. All of it. It made you feel terrible. “But I’d rather just sit with you, if that’s alright?”

He looked up at you, surprised. “Y-yeah, that’s fine.”

You sat beside him, placing a tentative hand in his hair, scratching the back of his neck like he loved. “I’m sorry about today,” you whispered. “They don’t deserve you.”

He let out a forced chuckle, with an even more forced smile. “I don’t deserve you guys.”

You shook your head. “Logan, our awful car has nothing to do with you. Alex gets all the upgrades, while you get none. Alex gets the praise and you get none. You stepped up when we fucked up with Latifi, and now you’ve had to pay that price. I’m sorry they don’t treat you fairly. I’m sorry I can’t make them.”

He looked at you for a moment, really looked at you. You’d been doing this a lot, the whole ‘toeing the line of friendship vs a romance’, and he was really hoping one of you would just stop and choose one. He’d understand if you didn’t want to be with him, he was a laughing stock. 

“Thanks for being here,” he whispered, leaning into you as you held him close. 

Maybe neither of you needed to confess, but once he had these small moments with someone in his corner, someone who cared, he could pretend his life wasn’t falling apart. 

He could pretend he was enough for you.
